  1. hmmmm not really, jesus and his followers drink wine many times in the bible....
  2. I agree, that's a very good point. I definitely felt that this was a much bigger event than the mainstream media has given it credit for, interesting that they would water it down in such a way.
  3. Hey all! I almost never post, always just read what others have said. Throughout this whole thing I will be honest in saying that my number one driving force has been my own personal greed. I don't mean greed in an evil "Mr. Burns" sense, more just excitement at the prospect of having so much financial freedom. While I'll admit this is still my primary concern, I have been hit by another aspect of this venture today. Watching the UNSC lift NEARLY all the ch.7 sanctions from Iraq, I was surprised to find that my biggest thought was not of the potential financial gain to come in the near future for so many of us, but of the people of Iraq. These are humans just like the rest of us, they cannot fairly be associated with a psychopathic dictator like Saddam Hussein... in a way for them it is really a case of wrong place wrong time on a massive scale. Of all the fighting and tragedy that has gone on in that country for these past many years, the biggest victims by far have been the Iraqi people. These are major steps toward Iraq reclaiming some of its former glory and joining the rest of the world as an internationally recognized sovereign nation and no amount of wealth can ever measure the value of that to these people who have known little other than struggle and hardship for most of their lives. These thoughts lend more emotion to this historical event than any dollars and cents ever could. I am not a religious person so I will not embrace the hypocrisy of (me) saying "god bless iraq and everyone else, god will take care of us all!" but i will say the fates have finally begun to smile on Iraq as they have/will on everyone involved, wishing all of you a safe and exciting holiday season! Oh and I almost forgot..... GO RV!!!!!
  4. Then the rest of us all go back to hopeful anticipation while you snap yourself in the eye with a rubberband for being so needlessly negative.
