If you deposit a large amount of cash in your bank account
I believe the IRS laws state you need to pay the estimated taxes to them
on that amount before the end of that quarter. Not wait to the following
year when you file your return.
So whether you cash in in 2010 or 2011 they will still receive their money
by April.
For specifics you need to speek with a tax attorney.
Let's back up a bit...
You could be transferring funds from one account to another. That does not necessarily mean you pay taxes on a new deposit. It is more complex than that. You do not pay taxes on deposits, you pay taxes on profit, income, or gain.

If Okie has spent years in the oil fields, as you say, he has not been rubbing elbows with the oil elite or Washington elite. Do you think George Bush Senior ran around oil fields? Please. An Okie and elite reference in the same sentence is an oxymoron.
You are basing this conversation on today's post. But Okie has a history that you are not taking into account. Please forward some intel that has come to fruition, other than his posts referencing an action(s), but was also posted simoutaneously on a major media source, i.e., CNN.
I am sure Okie is a likeable guy, but the story is just falling apart rapidly.

I am sorry, but there is not an oil man alive today, with friends and connections at that high a level, that would be stooping to speak with plebians like us to share information that would help regular people. Do you know what oil companies think of regulars people like us? We slaves to what they have to sell. Our economy and the world is run on oil for their profit and gain. They have stopped alternative energy for decades so that they can keep feeding us the oil they have to sell.
When putting Okie at this high a level, you are talking about a T. Bone Pickens type. Can you imagine Mr. Pickens manning his oil wells so that six of his "hands" can have a Christmas with their family? And only six hands? Not much oil there. Yeah, yeah, he is semi-retired.
When you truly know individuals at the highest level, your INTEL IS RIGHT! AND YOU WON'T BE SHARING IT WITH THE UNWASHED MASSES. You share with your other buddies, your cabal, your golf partner, your attorney, your son-in-law so your daughter can continue the lifestyle that you accustomed her to.
If Okie is for real, I apologize. But with connections like he has, he should be onto good intel. One minute people are blaming Obama and the administration for controlling this whole RV deal, but Okie has WH connections but does not have correct information. Which is it?
I enjoy reading all of the rumor posts, but people, come up for air, you are turning blue and becoming delirious.
PS - If you think our government has more control over Iraq than the individuals (Rothschilds) that own the Federal Reserve, CBI, or any other global banks and oil interests, think again. Iraq will RV when they want them to.

Lilabertus, I pray you will get your surgeries soon and make a full recovery.
So many people involved in this speculation have a myopic view that only includes themselves, and getting rich is their only goal. Heaven forbid they think about the Iraqi people that live in filth and have no electricity in 130 degree heat, and have been through almost 40 years of hell. Not to mention individuals like yourself that need life saving help.
I think some need to thank their lucky stars they were born in this country and even have a few extra dollars to even get involved in dinar speculation. Count your blessings and give someone else a helping hand. And as I recall, someone, somewhere, said that PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.

John Fagan, I hope you feel better. An RV would solve many problems for lots of people like us. I hope you are with your child soon.
Grits: I believe some have a better understanding, therefore, patience, regarding the delays of the Iraqi government and the RV, simply because some have traveled to countries like Iraq. As Americans, it is hard to imagine what these countries are like unless you have been there. If you were in parts, (95%) of Afghanistan, removed the roads and cars, you could not tell what century you were in, literally. Don't forget Iraq had basically started from nothing. These countries are tribal. They have fought each other for centuries.
I think they have made a good deal of progress. Do I think they should just pull the lever, YES! But this will go on until the last second.
The Iraqi people are getting the gift of democracy after a miserable regime of 30 years. We should be wishing them well and the some of the good will spill our way.

I did notice by the way that DT took 10K bills off his site for purchase. He only shows 25K and 5K now. Maybe I missed that before, but there is now a gap between which I am almost positive was not there before. Just something I noticed.
Dinar Trade is only offering 25k bills now. 5k and 10k have been removed!

I have read (just opinions, but from people I think are credible) that the larger notes will be called in first at a low rate, as low as 0.10:1. That could be a bummer if all of your notes are 25k, like mine. That does not make a lot of sense to me, but I am not a seasoned currency trader.
Any thoughts to ease my pain, or otherwise...

No need to flame somebody for venturing an opinion. I hope it's not true, too, but we really don't know.
If you spend any time on a couple of dinar websites, you see certain people that always have a negative attitude about anything that is announced, and Hkrl, or whatever his name is, is one of those. He is trying to say he knows more than everyone else. This makes his important. Well, maybe.....

Regarding Federal taxes, you need to talk to a good tax attorney. The way I see it, any profit is a capital gain, held short or long term. But there have been many discussions with tax professionals on this site regarding this investment being capital gains vs. regular income. Look for these discussions. There may be more in the VIP section.To play it safe, until there is a definitive answer, I will hold 38% in an account to pay the taxes if I need to.
Several IRS international auditors have said it is treated as regular income per an attorney I spoke with this week, and is a dinar older himself.
But be careful. I would hate to hear stories about people that spent and gave away their money, and end up owing money to the government, and then loose whatever you bought. And don't forget your state taxes too.
Do your research and call the IRS.
