  1. Just a note to say, my wife works at a Wells Fargo Branch in Portland, Or. Never heard anything about the Dinar, laughs at me every time I mention it. She is however, only a Teller. Just Sayin. Her friend, the former branch manager told me she thought it was a "Scam" or so she heard.

Thank you for that eloquent piece of information that will most assuredly enlighten all of us that have so much of our lives, friends, family, and sometimes, soul, invested in the revaluation of the IQD. Some of us are hanging on a thread, some have fallen from the thread into a dry river bed, some are just greedy, some want to use much of their profit to help those in the dry river bed. We are rattled, we cannot sleep, we are incessantly connected to DinarVets hoping to see a post that will give us a glimmer of hope.

So for you to share with us that golden nugget coming from, no less, a bank teller and a former branch manager, $12-15 hourly workers, people that, more than likely, have no formal financial education, nor international political science background, and say this investment is a scam, or so she heard, I must take pause......WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???????

  2. LOP = LOSS OF POTENTIAL

THE RV IS A JOKE AND NO RV - LOP PEOPLE ARE PESSAMISTIC DICKWEEDS! HANG IN - FOLLOW ADAMS INFORMATION.

If an RV is such a joke - what are you doing here? You must have a very sad life if you frequent and partake in an activity that you do not believe in.

You probably go to the dog park and you don't have a dog.

  3. What gap? The value of one currency relative to another does not matter at all. People have this perception that if it takes 1170 units of one currency to equal one unit of another currency that is somehow bad. It's an irrelevant measure. Only the stability of the currency matters. The South Korean won trades at nearly 1,200 to 1 with the US dollar. South Korea is a WTO member. If Iraq RVs, I don't think it's going to be the sudden overnight change in value that people believe. I think it's going to quietly start trading openly on the currency exchanges (not via CBI auctions) and the ultimate value will be determine by the market's perception of the strength of the Iraqi economy. Owning currency is like owning stock in the country that prints it. People are only going to want to own it if they think it will be a safe store of value.

Networth, fyi many people have referenced a gap in the Iraq currency and the importance to close it so the IQD could be recognized by the WTO as an international tradeable currency. The poster has probably done some homework by reading posts others have written and the gap made sense, hence the reference.

  4. Doing your homework is great, but with all the misinformation in the news, we need to bounce things off of each other. The translation that we get on the news can be interpeted a lot of different ways, so a different perspective is always appreciated. I appreciate any intel from anyone, even if the intel hasn't been totally accurate. Nobody has yet accurately prediicted date or rate, but eventually it will happen. I am sure I am not alone in saying......Keep the information coming!!!:lol::lol::lol:

    you are a nice person.....

  5. BS,More excuses, first budget, now parliament, what next FOGHORN LEGHORN need to approve something, now boy here's your rv, yup it it sounds more believable from a cartoon.

Coyote, perhaps you did not see Hammy's post above. Perhaps you should reread it. I have posted it below for your convenience:

The budget is approved, also accepted by the kurds. You will not see anything about an R.V. in the budget. It will be passed by parliament. I really don't think most of you realize the budget is only a guideline. If you are waiting for parliament to approve it and expect to see an R.V. you will be disappointed again. Some people here can't just accept slow progress because your in a big hurry to buy a porsche. I suggest you do your own research, find your own news and stop slamming people here that take the time to search and post good information that is found. Every single news agency out there confirms the passing of the budget. Now un-wad your panties and take some good solid progress have a cup of coffee and for Gods sake smile. ;)

Edit: http://www.inciraq.c...ge.php?id=49469 Don't worry, parliment will pass it. You will not see the R.V. then either. So don't be mad when you don't.

  6. Hello All Was glad to see someone post earlier that dinar banker will accept our 10% down on a 1 ML reserve, with 5 new 25 K notes.

On their webpage it states: The rate of your reserve order will be locked in AS SOON as you postmark your shipment of Dinar to us.

ahhhhh if it RV's tonight, what then? Even with the time stamp on their webpage, if I order it tonight.

sorry, but just not sure how this might transpire...

    THANK you

    YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL!!!!!

Yes, you can do a reserve that way, but this could be a horrible business decision for anyone doing this. IF, IF, the RV does not happen within the 30 day time period for a reserve, you loose the 10% deposit. In this case, 5 each 125,000 dinar notes. LOSE THEM - GONE - Bye Bye. If you kept the 5 125,000 dinar notes and cashed in after the RV, you could get $407,500 at a $3.26 rate. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

If you want to take a reserve a million dinar, take a about $200 and do a reserve with Dinar Trade, or any dealer. At least you would only lose $200 if, if, it did not RV in 30 days.

    DinarBanker.com Layaway/Reserve Policy:

    * Half Million New Iraqi Dinar (IQD) minimum order.

    * Customer makes a 10% down payment which begins a 30 day time period for full payment.

    * The remaining 90% balance due must be paid in full within 30 days of receipt by DinarBanker.com of the initial 10% deposit. The balance is due by the close of business on the 30th day. If the 30th day falls on a holiday or a day that approved delivery services do not deliver, the due date will be the next business day.

    * The 10% deposit is non-refundable.

  7. Hi,

Does anyone have a link for last years budget 2010?

    Thanks,

    Emerald

Emerald, that was not a silly question regarding the budget. There was a budget passed. See below for an article written by Adam Montana:

    Iraq 2010 budget approved!

    Adam Montana

FINALLY some good news for us Dinar Currency speculators! I’m extremely interested to hear what the number crunchers in the crowd are going to have to say about this one, for several reasons. The Iraqi federal budget has been held up by debates for several weeks, primarily for political reasons.

I mentioned months ago that the budget was going to be a big issue, and not for economic reasons… for political reasons. Political reasons such as Prime Minister Maliki’s upcoming electoral opponents wanted to make sure he was not able to use any state resources to fund his March 7 election campaign… the plot thickens, as always!

After what seems like a hundred years of sissy-footing around, the Iraqi parliament passed a 2010 federal budget earlier today (Tuesday January 26 2010) that puts federal spending at $72.4 billion (84.7 trillion Iraqi Dinars). The budget also sets a deficit this year of $19.6 billion (22.9 trillion Iraqi Dinars).

Iraqi government income is estimated at about 62 trillion Iraqi Dinars ($53 billion), 95% of which is from crude oil exports. Here’s where the number crunching comments should start: Iraq’s current and projected crude oil exports.

Also of note, the approved budget allows Iraq to seek a $4.5 billion arrangement with the IMF. This has been discussed before, and several times the IMF loans have fallen by the wayside. A trend I have noticed, however, is that when the IMF loan falls through, sometime in the near future an agreement is reached with one country or another that Iraq owes money to. Some debt is forgiven, investment opportunities are arranged for the country that forgives the debt, and Iraq walks away with a stronger foundation upon which to build a secure and financially successful future.

I’ll be keeping an eye on things, stay tuned!

  8. Stop I saw 3 articles already this morning, posted a second one above. Did not think posting the 3rd would matter though if you need me to I will.

LAMBLIZ - If you saw an article stating the budget had not been past and you are refuting what Hammy has posted, you need to post the article you saw with a link. Don't pull this bs at this point! POST!

  9. Pumpers can't pump if we don't let them get us pumped. We all need to be responsible for our own actions and reactions to other people's actions. My advice if you are on the down slope of the roller coaster would be to stay away from the rumor section for a few days and focus on the news and facts. It's fun to dream and it's exciting but this thing is not going to happen on our time schedule, but it most certainly will happen. My bet is when this is all over, in a strage kind of way, we are all going to miss this crazy ride. She's coming folks and I think we are real close.

    Peace.

I agree with TJ (again). There is so much going on right now that is fascinating. Just read the News section and track the check off the "to do" list items. This news is happening fast and has meaning. We do not need the rumors anymore. Reality is taking place before our eyes, history as well.

Just sit back and know that every time an item is completed on the "to do" list, you are that much closer to be financially independent and will be able to help others that are in need (spending money to buy a house, buy clothes, new boat, etc, will help the economy too). Now, that is fun!

  10. no fiction here just telling my experience as exact as i can

the only thing that puzzles me more then anything is why the hell did the phone cut off like it did?? does anyone know if those calls are recorded at BOA? Im wondering if someone heard her telling me this and cut it off...

Well, with all of your new found wealth, I would invest in a new phone and a new carrier........................

  11. i am always hesitant to comment when reading a translation, but my first impression when reading this story, is that the Iraqis are publishing a lot of news about good financial news for the citizens of Iraq, you know, the ones that are protesting and are planning more protests.

It seems like the government is trying to paint a rosy picture in a hurry. Quell the masses, literally.

But, this is a very good thing for the people of Iraq. Jobs. Now they will be able to buy rice after the 80% tariff is put into place.

  12. So the Government of Iraq has been formed. Has the budget been created and read 3 times? Does the Security appointments take long? What's left for them to do before RV?

I don't think they observe weekends like we do. Sunday is like any other day to them. If you believe in GOD..... After he created the Heavens & Earth, on the 7th day (Sunday) He rested.

The Muslim weekend is Friday and Saturday. And Muslims do believe in God. Their God just has another name and they read from a different book. But they believe in God.

  13. I would be afraid I would like the high life on my 'tax free' money, and on my 85th birthday, I get the IRS knock on my door. They clean out my accounts and take every asset from me because the penalties, fines, and interest were so high. And I end up eating dog food at 85.

Not worth it......my greed level is not that is not that high.

  14. You need to go to Dinar Trade's website and see the areas that the cashout offices will be...Salt Lake...LA...Bakersfield...more I do not remember..................the only addresses that have been published so far are the LA and Bakersfield offices that have been in operation. There are five or six locations, as I recall.

Youliveonce, you need to look into information before even stating an opinion about a man's business that you do not know for sure.
