  1. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41170998/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa Bombs kill at least 50 along pilgrim route to Shiite holy city of Karbala Attackers target Shiites marking end of 40-day mourning period for grandson of Prophet Muhammad BAGHDAD — A pair of car bombs blasted through security checkpoints ringing the Iraqi holy city of Karbala Thursday and killed at least 51 people, most of whom were Shiite pilgrims headed to observe yearly religious rituals. It was the latest in a wave of attacks in recent days, as insurgents test Iraqi security forces ahead of the planned U.S. withdrawal at the end of the year. There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but the bombings bore the hallmark of al-Qaida and other Sunni-dominated extremist groups that frequently target Shiite pilgrimages in hopes of re-igniting sectarian violence that brought Iraq to the brink of civil war just a few years ago. Authorities estimated as many as 183 people were wounded in the near-simultaneous blasts set off by suicide bombers driving cars packed with explosives. Ali Khamas, a pilgrim from the Shiite neighborhood of Sadr City in Baghdad, said he saw a car speeding toward one of the checkpoints, its driver refusing to stop despite warnings screamed by Iraqi soldiers. "After the explosion, people started to run in all directions, while wounded people on the ground were screaming for help. I saw several dead bodies on the ground." Still, Khamas said, the pilgrims continued to head to Karbala: "It will not deter us from continuing our march to the holy shrine ... even if the explosions increase."
  2. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki submitted a partial lineup of nominees for a national-unity cabinet to the parliament speaker, eight months after elections. Partial??? When do we get ALL of them??
  3. ???????? What does this mean for us exactly, some say this ultimately has no bearing on the RV itself, yet it sounds like it will??????
  4. Seriously people, have any of you ever heard of sarcasm?? I happen to know he is correct in stating this event happened on Friday in Sandy, UT as I had the unfortunate experience of getting thru the all day long delay of driving thru that parking lot and business areas surrounding. Now what he said to GB I have no way of knowing. But I do know I enjoyed his post and took it as nothing more than a fun experience and wanted to make you all smile. But this is the biggest bunch of nobody's to try and sell a smile too!! Lighten up people and Ransom...... cool name for a horse!!
