I can see you take this Constitution stuff to heart...and I suppose I can respect that. But when most of these "Constitutionalists" speak....they constantly refer to "our founders didn't want this and they didn't want that". The point I was trying to make is, that while the founders had the right idea....the fact that they ARE amendments such as women voting and people of color SHOWS that they weren't the perfect beings Constitutionalists paint them out to be. We've grown as a country,...and it's time to recognize that. Anyhow...back to the birthers....

I'm curious....where were these "Constitution defenders" were during the Bush years? I mean...where were they? I guess the wire tapping, for example, was fine and dandy and didn't "infringe" on "freedom"? Also.....the Constitution, while an all important document, isn't the "bible of America" that these "Defenders of Freedom" tout. Our founders, while true patriots kind of had their flaws and..well....we've grown up a little as a nation since then. The original constitution in it's PURE language, women not having the right to vote and people of color..well......'nuff said.

Actually the fact that the dirt divers DIDN'T find anything IS relevant. I seem to remember that the "birthers' were screaming that "just wait until the convention! Hillarious is going to steal the election! It's all going to come out." What happend? Ummm.....well....like every other "gotcha" moment-to-be, including all the court cases that were thrown out, nothing. Look, I'm not going to take the time to fly to Hawaii....interview folks there...fly to Kenya.....interview Grandma Obama. I just don't have that kind of resource time or care. Do you? Obviously not. So in with issues such as this, you have to rely on what your brain tells you is logical. While I have certainly more reason to dismiss this as trash, I'll stick with this one simple and basic reason. If the ones who seek to bring down the President have said this issue is garbage...then ya know what...that's good enough for me. They have the resources, the agenda and the means to make this issue important. As we have seen.....even those who make their living on throwing stones at the President (O'Reilly, Beck, Coulter and Huckabee...not to mention FAUX news) have dismissed the birther agenda. While I am no fan of any of them, given their agenda, if those who seek to bring you down discredit the idea I'm a little more apt to give their dismissal credibility then a few yahoos with a blog and a webcam on the internet.

So your contention is that Hillarious "took a dive" for the party despite the fact that IF her handlers could PROVE that her opponent was not a citizen...she would have had the nomination...hands down? You think if that sort of "gotcha" moment could be produced..and the millions upon millions spent on her campaign could have MEANT something...she balked and stepped aside? The woman WOULDN'T quit...even after everything was all said and done! (remember?) Don't you think that if her Scandal-Dirt Diggers could have brought this to light....she would have used it?!?!Then...you're saying, that the McCain camp was too "wishy washy" and DIDN'T send out their "dirt diggers" to find ANY sort of truth to the "birther" claims? That in fact, despite all the millions upon millions of dollars spent on his campaign that his Scandal-Finding Machine "overlooked" this smoking gun that would have landed him in the White House? I am sorry but.....that just doesn't make any sense. Logically speaking...that is a big reach. Of the right-wing heros and lawsuits thrown out of court...? I think the questions HAVE been answered by many of the people out there who would have done anything to make sure this man didn't make it to the White House. The fact that even the right doesn't take it seriously (and lord knows THEY support and love this president as well...right?) and the cases continually get dismissed.......I think your questions HAVE been answered. To continue on....that by definition makes it a conspiracy...IMHO of course.
