    Is it really that hard to understand that the main country you speak of in regards to the Marshall plan, redenominated their currency and it was only the new currency that got a higher value. That's why your Marshall plan theory is junk if that's what you hang this speculation on....

    Lol and did you do any research on oil currencies? If you did, you would notice most are pegged currencies, and their values don't fluctuate much at all. That should have been a red flag right there....
