Kuwait is considering issuing dollar-denominated bonds during the first quarter of the year, likely to be worth at least $ 8 billion, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying.

The issue is the size of the bonds issued in March.

The issue of bonds is subject to the approval of the Kuwaiti parliament. The Kuwait Economic Society approved this month a draft law allowing the government to issue local or international bonds up to 25 billion dinars, equivalent to 83 billion dollars.
