Kuwait and the United States sign economic contracts, according to Al-Wasat newspaper, which includes the news of Kuwait and the United States signing economic contracts.


Al-Wasat Newspaper - Kuwait signed seven contracts and memoranda with the United States of America in various fields, in the presence of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Wasat newspaper, Washington.

This came during the second session of the meeting, "US-Kuwaiti strategic dialogue," at the headquarters of the US Department of State in Washington, in the presence of Foreign Minister, Rex Tilerson.

"Seven agreements and memorandums of agreement have been signed in the fields of customs and oil, higher education, scientific research, investment, electricity, energy, water and combating terrorism," said Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad. "In addition to 16 previously concluded agreements, Full agreement ".

He pointed out that "the volume of Kuwaiti investments within the United States was more than $ 400 billion in different sectors, while the volume of trade until mid-2017, $ 4 billion."

He pointed out that "Kuwait comes immediately after the United States in its contributions to strengthen the stabilization efforts in Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon, providing humanitarian assistance worth $ 9 billion (without specifying the time period to provide)."
