Zibari discusses Iraq-Un relations with Ban Ki-Moon

Baghdad (NINA) – On the sidelines of the international conference held in Bonn about Afghanistan, Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari, discussed with the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, relations between Iraq and the UN.

A statement issued by the ministry mentioned that the UN official will submit 3 reports about Iraq’s relations with the UN Secretariat General regarding some remaining issues of rules of Chapter 7.

The statement added that the meeting tackled the Iraqi Prime Minister’s due visit to the US and the expected results of that visit of strengthening ties between Iraq and the US, in addition to the reflections of those ties on the Iraqi-UN relations, especially regarding the US withdrawal from Iraq by the end of this year. /End/

Apparently still under Chapter 7............................
