Gallery help

Hi mods, the past few days just can't upload any images to my folder in "Gallery", are there any system problems for uploads?

What is the exact error message you are getting???

When I go to click "upload" the transfer progress bar goes really slow, and when two minutes pass, I get this message from IE: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. I'm not trying to load large pictures at all. The last one I just tried is only 219KB.

I'm not seeing bandwidth problems anywhere else.

Try these:

- Clear cache

- Clear cookies

- Reboot modem and switch if you have one

- Reboot computer

- Try again

You can also check out http://www.speedtest.net/ to see what your download and upload speed is. Make sure you click on button "BEGIN TEST" and not anything else.

Munsch, no problem with my computer, I think there may be a hangup with DVs server. I did clear all of the things you asked and nothing has changed with the uploading to Gallery, even the small images get hung up. I am absolutely aok with surfing the web everywhere else.

Are you on wired or wireless? Also do you have another computer to see if it is happening on that one too?

I just tried uploading a 157.46K file of my dinar in my Misc folder and it was successful.

Thanks Munsch, I can get back with you later on, I couldn't upload a profile photo either under my username here. It was only 40 to 60KB or so. I can check again tomorrow after I get my laptop from work. I'll check file uploads with 'Photobucket' using the same photos as well.
