The SOMO official, who asked not to be identified, did not give a reason why the final figure fell but bad weather has interrupted exports from the southern oil hub of Basra in recent days, Reuters reported. Average exports from Basra stood at 1.451 million bpd for the month while exports from the Kirkuk fields in the north through the pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan averaged 475,000 bpd, the official said.
