قامت الاجهزة الامنية بغلق جميع الطرق المؤدية الى منطقة بغداد الجديدة شرق العاصمة بغداد. Security agencies have closed all roads leading to the New Baghdad district in eastern Baghdad.

وقال مصدر امني لمراسل ( وكالة انباء الإعلام العراقي / واع ) ان اغلاق الطرق جاء بعد ورود معلومات استخبارية بوجود سيارة مفخخة تحاول الدخول الى بغداد الجديدة مبينا ان الاجهزة الامنية مازالت تتحرى عن السيارة المذكورة وفرضت طوقا امنيا حول المنطقة المذكورة وقامت بعملية تفتيش لجميع السيارات الداخلة والخارجة موضحا ان هذا الاجراء سبب ارباكا وزحاما في حركة السيارات.
