A security source said in Babylon that US planes bombed Al Qaqaa today an area within the Great Lakes region of Alexandria, 60 Kilometers north of Babylon).

The source added the agency correspondent Iraqi national news, Nina, that "the area difficult terrain and access to it by the security services لوعورتها," he said, adding that the security forces have not been known as to whether there were losses because of the US bombardment.

It is worth mentioning that the region witnessed in the last period, the control of Al Qaeda organizations on it.

I did not realize that there was a city called Babylon currently. I thought that was an ancient city. Could this be what the Bible referes to as "mystery Babylon" ?? Are they renaming Bahgdad??
