I doubt that. He was stacking his dinar, waiting on an RV. Screw retirement, when you got $11,000 worth of dinar why sell it, when your profit would set you up for life.

Personally i don't think this has to do with the Dinar as much as he didn't declare the Dollars. You must declare all cash over $10,000

Personally I think the question should be where did a Major in Iraq come up with $100K plus when his salary would have a hard time covering it. Not to mention check cashing limits that would have been in place. The fact that he was a contracting officer is kind of interesting all by itself.
