First, I hope ya'll do not think that I am bashing or anything else. Just a simple question. What happened to the 100% GUARANTEE that this was gonna happen by December 21st.?? JUST A SIMPLE "OLE SAILORS" QUESTION!!!!

I have been on my soap box for many months stating that it simply did not make any sence to RV this early. We just need to get closer to the elections so Al-Maliki can bribe the Iraqi people and be the original Iraqi "hero!!!!' And by being the hero, for quite some time into the future, he will cement his political position. This just makes sence folks. Does anybody out there agree????? Or, is my boat rudderless and in "irons??"

As most of us believe, this is gonna happen. I just get a little aggrivated that folks make absolute statements, right at Christmas time, when money should be spent on family, not on Dinars.

That's my story and, I'm stickin to it.

well i see sonny1 is still a member/moderator. even after he did a no no. i thought for sure adam said no one else was to put out a date unless they had solid proof it was a done deal. and if they did they got the boot. and saying 100% chance of rv by today was saying it would rv. so what about sonny1? maybe he got sent to the corner. i guess if you are a mod you can say anything. jmo of course.

Hopefully folks will look at this whole thing a little more logically moving forward. How ANYONE will give credence to anything the "rumor spreaders" say in the next week (s) will be beyond me.

As much I hate to see someone promise a RV based on intel that never seems to pan out, I must agree with you here, Sonny just shared info that he said was not from him directly but indirectly from his source in Iraq, Maybe he needs to find new sources. Adam seems to get the same boot from folks here, I have never seen Adam promish a date or rate, and his trip to Dubai as he stated in the very beginning was nothing more than to meet his contact eye to eye, and see if he could get any more info from this personal meeting, and did get some strong thoughts from his CBI contact, maybe not what some was hoping for but he did get some good info that he shared, its just so Dang sad that peeps have to so dang rude to these guys, enjoy the journey and learn from those that have good info and are well informed fromtheir Investment, Rumors are fun and can be over sold, but follow the news and events that are taking place with Iraq, this will lead to the RV. but not in our time but in Iraq's time. ok then...JMO....Blue

The fourth High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development will take place on 23 and 24 November 2009 at United Nations Headquarters.

This year’s Dialogue will focus on the overall theme “The Monterrey Consensus and Doha Declaration on Financing for Development: status of implementation and tasks ahead”.

The first day of the Dialogue will consist of plenary meetings chaired by the President of the General Assembly, at which ministers and high-level officials will be able to make formal statements.

The second day will be devoted to three interactive multi-stakeholder round tables followed by an informal interactive dialogue with the participation of all relevant stakeholders.

The themes of the 3 round tables and the interactive dialogue will be as follows:

Round table 2: “The impact of the current financial and economic crisis on foreign direct investment and other private flows, external debt and international trade”;

Informal interactive dialogue: “The link between financing for development and achieving the Millennium Development Goals: the road to the 2010 high-level event”.

Why is it so hard to believe that Adam was in Dubai? As some one else posted, it is not a magical world on another planet. It is a top destination. Most of us know a travel agent who might be able to find a plane ticket to DBX. There are plenty of hotels that are quite reasonable. It really is a nice place to visit.
