Concluded Iraq and the United Nations next Tuesday a partnership strategy for the next five years. And The United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) said it signed with the government, represented by the Ministry of Planning next Tuesday an agreement under the United Nations Development Assistance Framework.

Sources in the UN mission, "it was a framework of the United Nations development assistance in cooperation with the government and the country team of the United Nations and other national partners.

This is a framework partnership strategy between the parties to address key national priorities for the period between 2011 and 2014, adding that" among these priorities, management governance and human rights, economic growth and access to social services quality and environmental management and the empowerment of women, children and youth in the country."

Iraq and the United Nations next week sign a strategic partnership

The United Nations Mission in Iraq / UNAMI / The United Nations and the Iraqi government will sign an agreement next Tuesday, "the framework of the United Nations Development Assistance".

Will represent the Iraqi government to sign the agreement and the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation and the signing ceremony will be held at the headquarters of UNAMI in the Green Zone.

Sources in the UNAMI has been developed within the United Nations development assistance in cooperation with the Government of Iraq and the country team of the United Nations and other national partners.

This is the framework of strategic partnership between the Government of Iraq and the United Nations to address key national priorities for the period between 2011 and 2014.

The sources said that among the priorities of governance, human rights, economic growth and access to social services quality and environmental management and the empowerment of women, children and young people in Iraq.
