Peshmarga: We wait military delegation to visit Erbil to settle pending issues

Baghdad (AIN) –The Secretary General of the Ministry of Peshmerga within Kurdistan Region and the spokesperson of the Ministry, Jabar Yawar, stated that KR is waiting for the visit of the military delegation of the Federal government to visit Erbil to settle the pending issues.

In a press statement received by AIN, he said "After the visit of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to KR and meeting its President, Masoud Barzani, seven committees were formed to settle the pending issues according to the deal between them."

"One of these committees is the military one where two meetings between the Peshmerga ministry and a delegation of the Iraqi Defense Ministry and the last meeting was held in the 3^rd of August 2013."

"We are waiting for the military delegation of the Federal government to visit Erbil to hold a joint meeting over running the security file in the disputed areas," he concluded. /End/
