Baghdad (newsletter).Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, on Monday evening, with the Egyptian and Algerian counterparts, bilateral relations, regional developments and the Syrian crisis.

 

 

According to a statement by the Ministry of alkhargit received (News Agency), a copy of: the Minister met his Egyptian counterpart Nabil Fahmi at the Foreign Ministry in Cairo, during the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries.

 

 

The statement said: the Minister expressed support for Iraq and standing with the will of the Egyptian people and fully supports the road map under way in Egypt for the transition, said the Iraq with his brothers the Egyptians in activating economic and trade agreements between the two countries and contribute to the support of the Egyptian economy and activating the joint Egyptian-Iraqi Committee and strengthen the strategic dialogue between the two countries, said Mr. Nabil Fahmy said he plans to visit Iraq soon.

 

 

It said: it has been discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, notably the Syrian crisis and reaffirmed the need to resort to peaceful, political solutions and the need to reform the whole Arabic and machinery to become more reflective of the aspirations of the Arab people.

 

 

This meeting was attended by Undersecretary of bilateral affairs Nizar alkhairallah, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Legal Affairs Dr. Fadhil Mohammed Jawad, Ambassador of Iraq in Cairo, Ambassador Dhia Al-Dabbas and the representative of Iraq addressed to Ambassador qais Al-Azzawi Arabic League.

 

 

In a related context, the statement said that Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari met in Cairo, Algeria's Foreign Minister Mourad medelci and his entourage, and the two sides discussed the development of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of strengthening at all levels, the Minister invited his Algerian counterpart to visit Iraq.

 

 

The statement said: the two sides reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and the Syrian crisis challenges and effects and efforts to solve them and consultations for the convening of a Conference of Geneva (2). /Finished/s. a./
