Marine helps struggling boy finish race, as seen in inspiring photo13 hrs ago

Several minutes after his fellow Marines had finished the five kilometer (3.1 miles) race of the Venetian Festival in Charlevoix, Mich., Lance Cpl. Kerr was nowhere to be seen. Just before the Marines went to look for him, Kerr came around the last corner running alongside a small boy. The boy had become separated from those he started the race with and had asked Kerr if he could please run with him. The Marine urged the boy not to give up during the race and made sure he crossed the line, as seen in this heartwarming photo posted to Facebook by Seal of Honor. Good choice of running buddy, kid.
