It quoted "Iba" a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the ministerial committee for each of the Emirates and Iraq met today Emirates, its eighth session and headed for Iraq, Hoshyar Zebari, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, where, during which the announcement of agreement to cancel Iraqi debt owed to the UAE and formally signed during the coming period. The statement added that the committee held its meetings in a friendly atmosphere and positive through which both sides expressed their common desire in the development of bilateral relations and lifted to a higher level and upgrading them to sustainable relationships and strategy. Noting there are during the meeting to discuss all the issues raised and agreed by the preparatory committee, which included senior officials of the two countries also signed the minutes of the joint meetings of the Committee and to agree on a set of agreements and memorandums of understanding that will be discussed and signed within two months as well as agreement on the formation of a committee at a high level to follow the Committee's recommendations and decisions. A delegation headed by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, which included representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs and finance, oil, trade, agriculture, transport and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Union of businessmen Iraq had met on Monday with the United Arab Emirates headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed after a lapse of ten years.
