Security Council to hold a meeting on Iraq From 2018-05-28 at 17:33 (Baghdad time) Mawazine News - follow-up to convene the Security Council in the United Nations session on the situation in Iraq on Wednesday. These elections are the first after the defeat of the terrorist "Da'ash" organization, while the Independent Electoral Commission announced that the participation rate in the elections was 44%. Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Saturday (December 9, 2017) the liberation of the Iraqi-Syrian border, stressing that the Iraqi territories are liberated from the control of the organization calling the terrorist.
