Luigi says... If there is any truth to this article, we stow our IQD away until 2020. Not verified. Your opine. 8-28-2017 Newshound Guru another site The Iraqi dinar has been fluctuating between 1189 and 1260 to the dollar. The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) continues to support the Iraqi dinar's peg to the dollar. The current peg is not expected to change for several years. The CBI is obtaining badly needed loans from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) World Bank, and several private organizations to assist in the rebuilding efforts. Some organizations are reluctant to grant Iraq loans due to the simple fact that AML laws (anti-money laundering) are not withstanding and the additional lack of law enforcement is null.

Luigi says... Another extravaganza from Bruce the Goose... Are we waiting on the bank release codes? 28 July 2017 Bruce... They passed their addendum budget. They are under a timeline to put out the new rate. Dinar on the bank screens at much, much higher rates. We are not there yet, but are well on the way. Seeing rats at over $11 now on bank screens. Dr Shabibi said the IQD had the ability to be valued up to $16. Tomorrow Iraq banks will be able to exchange USD between IQD.

Okay so someone else made an interesting thread talking about people who are positive about the DInar and pumpers as well as people who are pessimistic or negative about the Dinar. I was just wondering. I can understand someone saying a pumper has an alterior motive ie if they are a dealer say hey it's gonna revalue tomorrow maybe it will stir up some business and get people buying dinar again. What possible agenda could someone being negative about the Dinar have? I have seen other people say pessimistic things and even said pessimistic things myself and heard people say things like you want to get rich but nobody else to get rich. I can't see any reason for someone to try to convince someone else not to buy dinar besides them thinking its not a smart thing to do. NObody has anything to gain by someoen else not buying Dinar. Always thought this was interesting and wondered why people think anyone who says anything negative has anything to gain by telling someone not to buy or by being pessimistic. On the other hand I can see a motive behind a pumper.

After reading for months and months about the rate, I often thought why would they come out high. Well it suddenly hit me. If a country wanted to dedollarize why do 1:1 and have to give 1 dinar for every USD. If they came out 3:1, they only have to give 1 dinar for 3 USD. They can collect all the USD and only put out 1/3 of the Dinar. Just a thought. Makes sense to me. JUST SAYING.
