Al-Sudani invites the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to visit Baghdad Time: 2023/10/12 20:39:06 Read: 1,235 times {Politics: Al-Furat News} Today, Thursday, the Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Muhammad Al-Naqshbandi, handed over to the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, the invitation letter sent by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to participate in the work of the Baghdad 2023 Conference for Economic Integration and Regional Stability, which will be held in 11/30/2023. In another aspect of the meeting, the two sides discussed "developments in the attacks launched by the Zionist-Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the seriousness of their repercussions on the region, and stressed the necessity of joint coordination within the framework of the organization to stop these attacks as quickly as possible." The statement added, "A number of topics that serve the common interests of the two sides were also discussed."
