  1. https://www.givehim15.com/post/december-4-2025 December 4, 2025 Introduction As I have been stating, I am coming to the end of a long, very demanding travel schedule. This is the final week of the stretch and I will be on the road the entire week. To help me out, I have asked some of our favorite Give Him 15 guests to write posts. They are outstanding. Today’s and tomorrow’s posts by revivalist Larry Sparks are inspirational exhortations on - you guessed it - revival! Today’s title is: Will You Make Room? Let every heart prepare Him room. Christmas. I love this time of year. While I thoroughly enjoy the festive decorations, mass quantities of sweet treats, and the overtly Christ-honoring carols blaring over speakers in shopping malls and coffee shops, there is a profound revelation captured in the Christmas story… about how we can welcome and receive more of the move of God in our lives, churches, and nation. So prepare for an unusual Christmas perspective! A verse in the Christmas story that challenges me to this day is Luke 2:7: And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn (ESV). I want to highlight the last phrase, no place for them in the inn, and come back to that. Right Now… Prophetically, I am convinced we are living in the days of Ezekiel 47. I’ve shared this with the amazing Give Him 15 audience in times past about how this portion of Scripture gives us a stunning illustration of the different levels, depths, and dimensions of the river of revival. Every week, we are witnessing thousands turning to Christ through major evangelistic outreaches (Greg Laurie’s Harvest crusades), Unite US gatherings held at public universities, and the incredible work that local churches across the world are doing, day after day, to see a harvest of souls brought to Christ. God is moving, the river is flowing. Wild Celebration… but Thirsty for More When I consider that Oceanside, California, hosted the largest water baptism in American history this year, I celebrate wildly (and that it involved multiple churches and ministries working together). When I review the thousands coming to faith in Christ through Greg Laurie’s Harvest crusades, I am overwhelmed. When I am bombarded on social media with reports of the thousands of students who are attending the Unite US college gatherings, and the hundreds and thousands who are turning to Christ, getting water baptized, and experiencing genuine transformation, I am filled with thanksgiving. These are only three examples of the spiritual activity we have witnessed just this year, and the only response we should offer is wild celebration… with no “buts.” What I means is, I don’t want to be a revival connoisseur (thank you Tommy and Miriam Evans for this colorful designation) where I “tip my hat” to what God is doing, but I cannot get too excited because I am either being overly cautious, or worse, I refuse to celebrate until the move of God taking place suits my personal preference. I wonder if this is how people have missed revivals, awakenings, and moves of God in times past: they refused to celebrate what God was doing because it did not look like their idea of a move of God. My encouragement: wild celebration will position you to appropriately pray and cry out for more. God is a god of stewardship, and He is searching to and fro throughout the Earth for those who will recognize what He is doing, celebrate it, and steward His activity. So, I celebrate wildly what the Lord is presently doing, but until we see people overshadowed by the Holy Spirit to such a degree that their shadow releases healing and deliverance (according to Acts 5), I’m crying out for more. Until I see people so saturated with the Spirit that their everyday clothing releases healing and deliverance anointing (Acts 19), I’m crying out for more. Until I see notable miracles break open entire cities and territories for the expansion of the Gospel (Acts 9), I’m crying out for more. There’s always more of God for us to experience, but please understand, to experience more, we need to make room for the more. Not a Tame Lion We have been gloriously experiencing the beginning stages of Ezekiel 47, where the prophet describes being ankle deep, knee deep, and waist deep in the River of God (see v. 2-4). We’ve been witnessing a beautiful measure of God’s move in our nation right now, and while we celebrate, we recognize there are deeper dimensions accessible to us. Are we waiting for God to do something sovereign? I am convinced the Sovereign Lord has extended an invitation to us, basically asking, How deep do you want to go? I believe we are at a threshold. When you are standing in a river up to your ankles, knees, or even waist, you can still control the environment. You still have your footing on the ground. It’s stable, it’s safe. You don’t run the risk of the river completely consuming you and thrusting you into its wild current. But there is a dimension of God summoning us that is wild. It’s where we experience the wildness of the Lion of Judah. Perhaps one of the most iconic and appropriate descriptions of this expression of our Great King is the conversation between Susan and Mr. Beaver in C.S. Lewis’ iconic masterpiece, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. In describing the lion Aslan, a type and shadow of Christ, we read this conversation between the characters: “Aslan is a lion– the Lion, the great Lion.” “Ooh,” said Susan. “I’d thought he was a man. Is he-quite safe? I shall feel rather nervous about meeting a lion”...“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver …“Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.” In the same book, Mr. Tumnus notes, “He’s wild, you know. Not a tame lion.” These descriptions are not meant to frighten, but invite us into deeper encounters with the Living God. For centuries (even back to the days of Jesus), a religious spirit has sought to put God in a box. Sadly, this same spirit is alive and well today, and it might be the primary enemy of the Spirit’s move in our lives and world. It’s a perspective that demands God Almighty to fit in a box of expectation and comfort. But we all know that Yahweh has never fit in any box. A funny, but practical example of what this might look like. My pastor and spiritual father, Dr. Norman Benz, recounts the season of unusual spiritual outpouring in their Florida church in 1997 (sustained for several years). When people were touched by the Spirit’s power, they would shake, fall, and weep. They would also laugh… uproariously. Pastor Norman recounts, “I didn’t like the laughter... but I know it was God.” That’s a sign of maturity, where we welcome God on His own terms. We cannot judge a move of the Holy Spirit by our personal preferences. Maybe our preference is a few quiet tears are shed, when in fact, the wild River of God wants to touch someone radically with holy laughter and liberate them from decades of fear and depression. Will We Make Room for the Wild River? …there was no place for them in the inn. I don’t want this to be said of my life. Oh, I long to be a place where the Spirit can rest and do His unrestrained work. But an unrestrained mighty work of the Holy Spirit demands that we have an absolute and unwavering trust in His control. His way, His plan. When we make room for the Spirit’s work in our lives and in our midst, no matter what it looks like or what reproach we might receive, we are truly entering the realm of the Wild River—the next stop on Ezekiel’s journey. “Again he measured a thousand, and it was a river that I could not pass through, for the water had risen. It was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be passed through.” (Ezekiel 47:5) ********** Pray with me: Father, every time Your Holy Spirit moves with power, it’s a confirmation that Jesus died, rose again, and received everything He prayed for. Jesus prayed to You, Father, that we would experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. So in this season, I ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit on my life. My family. My city. My nation. Send Your Spirit, Lord, for Jesus’s sake! Lord, send Your Wild River of revival that we cannot control---that floods the Earth with salvation, healing, deliverance, and supernatural transformation. Our decree: We decree that we will make room for the move and presence of the Holy Spirit, no matter the cost. 2. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-21-2025 August 21, 2025 Introduction As I mentioned yesterday, we are making a few adjustments to the GH15s for the remainder of this week and early next week. Ceci had hip replacement surgery on Tuesday, and I’m playing nurse. She is doing well, and prayers for her speedy recovery are appreciated. I have asked some trusted friends to write the posts for these few days, individuals who have done so in the past. Today’s post from Larry Sparks is OUTSTANDING. Larry is a bestselling author, the publisher of Destiny Image, and an anointed revivalist. He is confirming that revival has begun, and we should claim it for our family and city. His title is: “Claim the Rain.” Here’s Larry. _________________________________________________________ Claim the Rain There is an end-time alarm clock going off in the spirit right now. When you hear or see the Holy Spirit moving somewhere, that is your prophetic invitation to claim the rain of revival for yourself. End-Times Context and Promise Zechariah 10:1 provides a striking prophetic instruction: “Ask for rain in the time of rain.” This Scripture gives us a model for how to respond when we see or hear reports of revival. Sadly, many believers have been conditioned to associate end-times language with doom and disaster—especially the warnings Jesus outlines in Matthew 24. But recently, while helping a community navigate end-times concerns, the Lord dropped a phrase into my spirit that recalibrated everything: “Matthew 24 is the context. Joel 2 is the promise. Claim the promise. Claim the rain.” Yes, Matthew 24 describes the shaking—wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, famines, deception. But Jesus didn’t invite us to claim those events; He was giving us context for the age in which we’d be sent. Joel 2, however—later quoted by Peter on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2—is the divine promise for that very hour: “In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy…” (Acts 2:17) This is what we’re called to claim—an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all people, especially the sons and daughters who are part of God’s prophetic end-time agenda. And in this present moment, I’ve never been more convinced that we’re beginning to see that promise unfold. Lightning Struck in Dublin, Ireland… Everything shifted for me personally at a church in Dublin, Ireland, in May of 2024. The church met—of all places—in a boxing ring. I was ministering alongside my dear friend, Tommy Evans, in a spiritually charged atmosphere. There was energetic worship, hopefully solid preaching, and then an unexpected call to respond. We felt prompted to invite all those 30 years and younger to come forward. They began to gather on the platform. What happened next can only be described as a divine interruption. The lightning of God struck. As we began to pray, some fell under the power of God. Others crumpled to their knees in tears. Many lay prostrate on the boxing ring floor, overcome by the weighty presence of the Holy Spirit. All across the auditorium, families prayed together, embraced one another, and turned their seats into sacred altars of encounter. From that moment on, we’ve seen an intensification of Holy Spirit activity—across generations, across nations. And here’s what’s so encouraging: the most explosive outpourings are happening in places many have written off as too hard, too dark, or too secular—nations and territories labeled as spiritual graveyards. Evidently, the Holy Spirit did not receive that memo. If you go into a territory with the Gospel and the Glory—the bold proclamation of truth coupled with the tangible demonstration of God’s power—no stronghold can stand. No region is unreachable. So when people ask me, “Larry, where are the revival hotspots?” I can now say confidently: Southern California. The Pacific Northwest. New England. Ireland. The United Kingdom. These are places I minister regularly, and we are witnessing an overwhelming spiritual hunger rising alongside unmistakable outpourings of the Holy Spirit. And this is not just anecdotal. Look at the data—begin with what’s happening in the United Kingdom. The “new atheism” movement failed to deliver purpose to a generation, and now, we are seeing young people turning to the church in record numbers. Revival is real—and it’s measurable. Showers and Storms So what exactly is happening? Jennie Allen—bestselling author and founder of the IF: Gathering—has been at the forefront of a university campus awakening movement called UNITE US, alongside Jonathan Pokluda and Tonya Prewett. Recently, she had a conversation with Pastor Greg Laurie, who hosted a massive evangelistic crusade in Southern California where approximately 45,000 people attended and around 6,500 made professions of faith in Christ. Laurie’s insights struck me. As Jennie recounted what the Lord was doing, Laurie—himself a leader in the Jesus People Movement—said it sounded just like that historic revival. He described a pattern: First, there are scattered rain showers. People hear of revival breaking out here and there, at this place and that place. Then, it simply starts to rain. Moves of God start erupting everywhere. But his last statement is what caused my heart to burn. Then… it starts to storm. Laurie was not speaking of some kind of storm of destruction, but a storm of revival outpouring where the move of God becomes an unstoppable territorial awakening that ushers multitudes into the Kingdom of God and produces cultural transformation. I believe we are entering that final stage. The showers are turning to storms. And not storms of destruction, but storms of divine visitation. Watchmen of Revival As I continue to travel, I’ve made it my mission to be a watchman of revival. And I want to encourage you to do the same. Now, when we hear the term “watchman,” we often think of someone looking out for threats—demons, darkness, and deception. And yes, we must be alert and discerning. But I believe the Lord is raising up a different kind of watchman in this hour: Watchmen who are God-preoccupied, not devil-obsessed. Watchmen who are alert to what the Spirit is doing, not just what the enemy is scheming. These are men and women who have set their hearts to seek and recognize the movement of God wherever it manifests. Right now, I pray that kind of anointing over you. May you be like Elijah in 1 Kings 18:44, who, in the midst of a long drought, celebrated the small cloud “the size of a man’s hand” as if it were already a downpour. Celebrate the cloud. Claim the rain. Celebrate the little signs of breakthrough in your life—the smallest shift in your marriage, the prodigal child asking a provoking spiritual question, a glimmer of healing in your body. In a microwave, fast-food culture, we’re trained to expect instant, massive results. But heaven celebrates the seed as much as the harvest. It’s Time to Claim the Rain The rain is falling. We’re not waiting for God to move—He already is. So the question is: Will you claim it? When you hear about revival in California, New England, Ireland, or across your social media feed, don’t just cheer it on—lay hold of it in faith. If it’s raining anywhere, it can rain everywhere. Because Joel 2 wasn’t just a local promise—it was a global one. The last days’ outpouring is not reserved for special people in special places. It’s for all flesh. It’s for your family. It’s for your city. It’s for your church. So lift your eyes. Bend your ear. Tune your heart. The Holy Spirit is moving. He’s pouring out His Spirit. Ask for rain in the time of rain. And don’t just ask—claim it. For additional practical teaching on how you position yourself to experience personal revival, please download my free e-book, Outpouring, at larrysparksministries.com/claimtherain ************* Pray with me: Father, Your great end-times promise is Holy Spirit outpouring. We will not be afraid of the shaking, of chaos, of world events and news headlines. Those things will not move us. We are aware of them, but unafraid because our eyes are on what You are doing. We build our lives on the outpouring of the Spirit that will impact all flesh. We believe that this outpouring is bringing in an unprecedented harvest of youth and young adults. Even those who were considered the “hard to reach” ones–those who were under the influence of atheism, secularism, and the occult–we see a shift taking place where their resistance is turning into hunger. Lord, as we see genuine moves of Your Spirit breaking out across the Earth, we continue to wildly celebrate what You are doing, while we continue to boldly cry out and contend for the fullness of everything You desire to pour out, in Jesus’ Name. Our decree: We decree that we are watchmen of revival, with eyes trained to see what the Holy Spirit is doing, so we can pray into His movement and partner with His activity in our everyday lives. ****************************** About Larry Sparks Larry Sparks has spent over two decades in ministry, igniting hunger for the Holy Spirit and calling the Church into revival and awakening. 3. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/june-4-2024 June 4, 2024 From Dutch This week Ceci and I will be spending time with our amazing DSM staff for a time of staff enrichment. Since we have employees in 4 different states, we feel it’s important that we spend time together periodically, face to face. While away, I’ve asked 5 of my ministry friends to share with you. As one who studies revival and church history, today Larry Sparks encourages us about recent outbreaks of revivals that have occurred. Larry, a publisher with Destiny Image, shares with us how we can prepare for revival and awakening in America. _____________________________________________________________ The River is Rising “The River of God is rising from trickle level to ankle-deep levels.” This statement shocked me. As a revivalist, I got excited, but as a church history researcher, I had to partner with the Holy Spirit to get some confirmation. Needless to say, it’s not hype; open your eyes and behold what the Lord is doing across the Earth. At the time of this post, I had just returned from two weeks of ministry in the United Kingdom. Though the enemy would love to assign a demonic narrative over those beautiful nations, calling them hard, dark, and secular, that’s not what I saw. Day after day, we witnessed entire gatherings where the Holy Spirit invaded the room with His presence and power, leaving everyone undone. Something is stirring across the Earth. Worship leader and songwriter Martin Smith, prophesied in the 1990s with his song “Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble,” announcing that a mighty River of God would be moving through the nations. As Dutch Sheets has taught, we are witnessing time catching up with the decree—what was prophesied in times past; we are stepping into its fulfillment right now.(1) The Trickle In 2023, we witnessed the unusual outpouring of Holy Spirit at Asbury University, along with multiple other Christian universities and church gatherings. There was an emphasis on gathering together for prayer, worship, and repentance. Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart that what we observed in 2023 was an Acts 2:1 moment in time, where the people gathered together in one place and one accord; this would be followed by the inevitability of an “Acts 2:2” suddenly deluge where widespread outbreaks of the Spirit would unstoppably canvas the nations. While talking with leaders like Ché Ahn and Sid Roth about the phenomena experienced in 2023, we concluded we were watching the beginnings of a landscape-changing move of God, similarly to how Ezekiel’s river (Ezekiel 47) starts with a trickle but escalates and intensifies. Ankle Deep I have bold, good news for you: With the start of 2024, I believe we shifted from trickle level of revival to the next level, ankle deep (Ezekiel 47:3). We’ve stepped into another depth and dimension of what God is pouring out, and thus, we need to act and pray accordingly. 2024 began with the Passion Conference hosted by Louie Giglio at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The messages were bold, confronting lukewarm Christianity and provoking the 55,000 youth and young adults to give everything to follow Jesus.(2) A landmark moment was the worship team leading the entire stadium in the Michael W. Smith worship anthem, “Agnus Dei.” You can find it on YouTube.(3) It shifts from being a dynamic worship song to an indicator light of the next level of revival as the worship team leads from the floor, while on their faces. Young adults fall to their knees in worship. You can even hear the faint cries and groans of desperation (around 8/9 mins in). This is not hype; this is a cry for God to fulfill Isaiah 64:1—"tear open the Heavens and come down!” This large-scale measure of encounter is a sign that the river is rising. This broke something open for youth and young adults, as we started to witness gatherings springing up at secular universities, from Auburn University(4) to Florida State University (the number 2 party school in America)(5) to University of Tennessee(6) to University of Alabama.(7) Thousands of students gathered at each place, worshipping the Lord, praying, repenting of sin, giving their hearts completely to Jesus, and being water-baptized… in university fountains and horse troughs! Most recently, in May 2024, the largest U.S. baptism ever was held in California, where 12,000 people were immersed.(8) May the data and testimonies I shared encouragingly remind you that we are stepping into another depth of the River of God. Four Keys to Step into the Next Level of God’s River 1. Discern the Times. Dutch Sheets teaches that when you know what time it is, you know what to do. Scripture tells us to “ask for rain in the time of rain” (Zechariah 10:1). If we are seeing God move in this unusual way, pouring out His Spirit, we have a responsibility to ask for more. Every report I have provided thus far is prophetic reinforcement to let you know that we are living in days of outpouring and awakening. Every testimony of God’s activity is an indicator light clearly communicating what time it is in the Spirit. 2. Define the Terms. We are moving into an hour of awakening; this is different from revival. A quick review of terms: Renewal is when a believer who is already passionate about Jesus is refreshed by the Holy Spirit. Revival is when the outpouring of the Spirit resurrects or revives a spiritually dying/dead church or believer. Awakening is another depth of the River altogether. This is when a move of God becomes geographical and impacts the land. Notice that many of the great moves of God throughout history did not have a church name in their title: The Welsh Revival, the Hebrides Revival, the Great Awakening. They shifted the spiritual landscapes of cities, territories, and even nations. I prophesy we are stepping into awakening, where revived believers will arise and become carriers of God’s revival fire wherever they go, causing entire territories to spiritually awaken to the activity of God. 3. Determine to Get a Bigger Vision. Your assignment is to read Acts 8:4-8 and Acts 9:32-43 until you get a vision of multitudes saved, many healed, notable miracles, resurrections from the dead, mass deliverances, and entire cities turning to the Lord. Remember, you will pray for what you can see with the eyes of faith. If you don’t have faith for cities, territories, or even nations to be transformed, you simply won’t pray into these realities. The Lord recently convicted me about this. He asked, “Larry, are you praying for revival?” Sure, I preach and lecture about moves of God and write books about revival, and encourage others to pray for outpouring, but I was not personally praying for the revival I preached about… because my vision was limited. I realized I needed eyes of faith to see the very real possibility of cities, territories, and even nations being spiritually “born in a day” in the thunder of awakening. Acts 8:8 says that there was “great joy in that city” because of the supernatural demonstration of Holy Spirit power through deliverance and healing. Imagine a city filled with joy. Can you see it: New York, London, San Francisco, Sydney, and Vegas – filled with joy. If it’s in Scripture, it’s possible, and if it’s possible, it’s legal grounds for fervent prayer and intercession. Continue to read Acts 9:32-34, and you will note that because of a notable miracle, “all who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him (Aeneas, who was healed) and turned to the Lord.” Let that little phrase provoke you: “all… turned to the Lord.” 4. Decide to Pray. Armed with Book-of-Acts level vision, it’s time to start praying some big, bold prayers. Why? It’s raining, so we ask for rain. The river is rising, so we continue to dive in head-first, wildly splashing in everything the Spirit of God is pouring out right now. Pray with me: Lord, give me eyes to see the possibility of a landscape-changing spiritual awakening in my city, in my state, and in my nation—in my day. Burn it in my heart – the vision of seeing mass salvations, mass deliverance, and mass miracles – so much so that entire territories would be filled with Your Presence and joy. Father, raise up watchmen of revival. Give us spiritual discernment and sensitivity to appropriately recognize the works of darkness, so we can resist them. But may our consuming drive be to eagerly look for Your movement, Your activity, Your outpourings, and Your glory rising. Our decree: We decree that the River of God is rising and that we are stepping into a whole new dimension and depth of awakening. ***************************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ------------------------------------------------ Today’s post was contributed by Larry Sparks and taken from his book, Pentecostal Fire.
