There has been a great deal of prayer for the safety of the Justices over the last few months. This is quite likely the reason the man did not go through with his intentions. Intercessors For America shares the following comments: “IFA intercessors have been praying for all of the Supreme Court Justices for months. Since the Dobbs draft opinion leaked, we felt the urgency of persistent prayers for protection, especially for the 5 Justices supporting the overturn of Roe. “On June 8, a man was arrested outside Justice Kavanaugh’s home with the intent to murder Justice Kavanaugh. The affidavit supporting charges against the man, Nicholas Roske, describes events that we believe are answered prayer, thanking God for intervening. “Here’s a summary of the affidavit: “Roske traveled from California, intending to kill Justice Kavanaugh because of the leaked draft Dobbs opinion and because he feared that Justice Kavanaugh will join opinions relaxing gun control laws. Ironically, although Roske supports gun control, he purchased a Glock 17, as well as a variety of other weapons, in order to kill the Justice. “After traveling all the way from California, Roske got out of a taxi in front of Justice Kavanaugh’s house, saw U.S. Marshals and walked down the street. He then called 911. He told the operator he was having suicidal thoughts, that he had a gun, and that he planned to kill the Justice. He was then apprehended by local police without incident. “We see the demonic leading of this man to plan to kill Justice Kavanaugh and then to kill himself. We also see divine intervention in Roske stopping at the last minute! “Intercessors, God hears and answers prayer. Let’s praise and thank Him and persevere in praying for protection for the Justices, their clerks, and all of their families. We don’t always know what our prayers are affecting—there could have been other plans for evil that were stopped due to the power of prayer. We DO know that this plan for harm was very obviously thwarted, inexplicably but for a supernatural intervention by God. “Please continue to keep Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family in your prayers – as well as the other four Dobbs draft majority Justices and their families: Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett.”(1) ************ Most legal scholars believe that it is illegal to protest and march in front of a judge’s home. This is because of a statute enacted in 1950: Title 18, Section 1507, of the U.S. Code. The law states that it is illegal, “with the intent of influencing any judge,” to: picket or parade “in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer” “or with such intent,” to resort “to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence” Tabatha Abu El-Haj, an expert on protest rights at Drexel University’s law school, said that the current protests at justices’ houses would fall under this statute, and that the statute, if tested, would probably be found constitutional.(2) Meanwhile, Democratic Senator Schumer is being criticized for fueling the anger and violence. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said of Schumer‘s inflammatory remarks: "’Chuck Schumer is on record on video, calling for violence, basically a dog whistle for them to come after Justices Kavanaugh and [Neil] Gorsuch,’ the Georgia Republican said on Newsmax's ‘John Bachman Now.’ ‘He named them by name, and he said they won't even know what hit them. Was he talking about a bullet? Was he talking about a knife? What kind of attack?’ “In March, Schumer, D-N.Y., was criticized after standing outside the Supreme Court, surrounded by abortion rights supporters, and commenting that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh ‘have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,’ reports The Washington Post. “Greene also said that there has been no effort to go after the person who leaked the Roe v. Wade draft decision, which has left the conservative-leaning justices' lives in danger. Further, protests have been allowed to be held at the justices' homes, and that should have been stopped, Greene commented. "’There should have been a bigger effort by the Department of Justice to stop these protests, and thankfully, this man was arrested before he did the unthinkable,’ said Greene. ‘Democrat leaders like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, and others, we don't see an effort for them to protect anyone but themselves.’”(3) Green was likely referring in part to the Democrats blocking a bill that would have protected the Justices and their families. Breitbart.com clarified: “House Democrats on Wednesday stalled a bill that would have provided additional security for Supreme Court Justices on the same day the man was arrested for attempting to murder Justice Brett Kavanaugh. “House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) made a unanimous consent request on the House floor to bring up S. 4160 for a vote. S. 4160, which passed the Senate by a unanimous vote, would have allocated additional security for the justices’ family members. “Despite McCarthy’s request, Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats failed to comply with McCarthy’s proposal to bring the bill to vote. “‘This is the same party whose heated rhetoric has encouraged political pressure on conservative justices,’ McCarthy stated. “As McCarthy noted, President Joe Biden’s White House encouraged protests on the front steps of Justices’ homes. “‘Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “I know that there’s an outrage right now, I guess, about protests that have been peaceful to date. And we certainly do continue to encourage that outside judges homes. And that’s the President’s position,” said McCarthy.’”(4) The murderous rage over the partial ending of abortion in America - the reversing of Roe vs Wade would not end all abortion, only send the decision back to each individual state - is a confirmation of its demonic roots. The bloodthirsty principalities and demons that have been empowered by the shedding of innocent blood, are enraged by the possibility of that ending. The spiritual and legal war over this issue is certainly not over, nor will it end if Roe versus Wade is overturned. We must remain incredibly diligent to pray for the Supreme Court and to continue our intercession for the ending of this evil. Pray with me: Father, we ask You to comfort and strengthen the Justices who are under this intense pressure and the threats of violence. Sustain and protect them and their families, staffs, and friends in the midst of this murderous plot. Protect them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. May these attacks fail and backfire in the Name of Jesus! We persevere in our release of Spirit-led decrees and declarations against the evil law, Roe versus Wade. In doing so, we release the powerful sword of the Spirit against this stronghold. We declare that its hold over America is broken. We bind the enemy powers that have kept it in place. And we release the authority of the kingdom of God against this evil. We declare and decree, as we have done before, that satan will not be able to alter God’s timing and plans (Daniel 7:25). We bind his attempts in the powerful name of Jesus, declaring their success to be forbidden, according to Matthew 16:18-19. We boldly command, “Kingdom of God come! Will of God be done!” We do and say all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, who has all authority in heaven AND ON EARTH. Amen. 5 min read June 9, 2022 Burn the Ships In 1519, the Spanish explorer Hernán Cortés set sail for Mexico with 11 ships and between 600 and 700 men. His goal was to conquer the Aztecs and establish a Spanish settlement. The Aztecs were a very cruel people and performed thousands of human sacrifices to their gods every year. They also captured and possessed many slaves. Their population upon Cortés’ arrival was approximately five million. Mathematically, the odds were stacked against Cortés and his men by a ratio of 7,541 to 1. Two previous expeditions had failed, yet he succeeded and conquered much of the South American continent. What Cortés did at the beginning of this endeavor is the stuff of legends. Some say the actions were a result of his men becoming so intimidated by the odds and hardships that they decided to give up and go home. Others say Cortés didn’t even wait for that to occur before taking this drastic measure. Either way, Cortés left no doubt that they were staying. “Burn the ships!” he commanded his officers. Cortés removed the option, turning the mission into an all-or-nothing proposition.(1) In the 1990s, Steven Curtis Chapman released a song about this action of Cortés, comparing it to the Christian faith. Our entire family loved the song. I’ll provide a link for you to be able to listen to it at the end of today’s post. Here is the first verse and chorus: “In the spring of 1519, a Spanish fleet set sail Cortés told his sailors this mission must not fail On the eastern shore of Mexico, they landed with great dreams But the hardships of the new world make them restless and weak Quietly they whispered, ‘Let's sail back to the life we knew’ But the one who led them there was saying "Burn the ships we're here to stay There's no way we could go back Now that we've come this far by faith Burn the ships we've passed the point of no return Our life is here so let the ships burn and burn." Life gives us many opportunities to burn the ships. The ships aren’t physical, of course, but are in our minds and hearts. We are saying, “I’ve made my decision, there is no reversing it. I’m not going back.” We may remove the option of returning to bad habits. Or we close the door to the pain of yesterday’s losses. We move on from setbacks, hope deferred, failed dreams. And we burn the ships of retreat to our old life of sin. We must also burn the ships at times when we set our sails toward great endeavors and dreams. Along the way, we will always be met with adversity, detours, and failures. The best way to keep from giving up is to enter the sanctum of our hearts at the onset and remove the option. Our Founding Fathers were burning the ships when they signed their names to the Declaration of Independence: When they pledged their “lives, fortunes and sacred honor;”(2) when Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give me death”(3) when Lewis Morris said, “Damn the consequences, give me the pen,”(4) they were all burning the ships. When Jesus said, “No man, having put his hand to the plow and turning back, is fit for the kingdom of God,” He was saying, “Burn the ship.” When He became a microscopic seed and was planted in the womb of a virgin teenager, Christ burned the ship. When Johann Leonhard Dober and David Nitschmann, two young Moravian Brethren from Herrnhut, Germany, were called in 1732 to minister to the African slaves on the islands of St. Thomas and St. Croix in the Danish West Indies, they were told they would not be allowed to do such a thing. So Dober and Nitschmann sold themselves to a slave owner and boarded a ship bound for the West Indies.(5) As the ship pulled away from the docks, they called out to their loved ones on shore, "May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!" When they sold themselves to preach the gospel to an oppressed people, they were burning the ships. The generation of Israelites that came out of Egypt failed to burn the ships. When times got tough they said to Moses, “We want to go back to Egypt.” Only Joshua and Caleb had burned their ships. (see Numbers 14:4) Esther burned the ship when deciding she would risk all for her Jewish family. “If I perish, I perish,” she said. Then she broke protocol, approached the king, and saved a nation! (see Esther 4:16) When William Wallace said, “Every man dies, not every man really lives…they may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!”(6) he was burning the ship. When God imparted his heart for America to me in 2000; when He showed me His great need for a strong America, loyal to Him; when He made it clear to me that America’s destiny, given by Him, was to trumpet the gospel of the Kingdom to all the nations of the earth; when He and I wept together for three and a half hours over her fallen condition; when I accepted the mantle to see her return to Him through a third great awakening…I burned the ship. Revival in America is not optional. Intercession to birth it isn’t, either. Some who have prayed in the past have given up. They have gone back to passivity and complacency. We must count the cost, commit to the cause, and determine that we will see this assignment through to a restored and revived America. Pray with me: Father, Thank You for Your determination to redeem us. Lord Jesus, we thank You for persevering through the incarnation, Cross, and punishment for our sins. Thank You for burning the ships. Likewise, we pledge our allegiance to You and Your cause around the world. Indeed, may You receive the reward of Your suffering. Father, we ask for an infusion of new strength and determination to see America revived and transformed. May we be found faithful to serve Your purpose in our generation. We thank You for the incredible calling You have on this nation. We are so, so sorry we have rejected it and turned from You. We have trampled under-foot the blood of Your Son. Cleanse us, we pray. We appeal to You, just as our Founders did, deliver us from the strongholds of evil that have us bound. Give us a fresh start. Cause the fires of revival to burn in our nation as they never have before. We pray for the children, youth, and young adults of America. We have allowed filth and lies to be poured into our nation for six decades. This caused such severe spiritual decay and loss of truth that most of this young generation has seen no true representation of You. They have been fed lies and deception. They need Your powerful intervention and rescue. Come and save them! We pray for these revival fires, the river of Your Spirit and the wind of awakening to be released throughout the world. Send revival to Asia. Pour out Your spirit in the Middle East. Send revival to Europe, as well. We pray especially for Ukraine. Deliver them from the oppressor, and retaliate against the evil with an earth-shaking revival. We ask for this, in Christ’s name. Amen. Our decree: We declare that we will never turn back, we will never give up on seeing America saved. 6 min read June 8, 2022 God’s Call to Men My good friend Ken Malone recently sent me a dream. The dream is regarding a fresh call by Holy Spirit to men. There have been powerful moves of God involving men in America’s past such as Full Gospel Business Men’s Association in the 1970s and Promise Keepers in the 1990s. Both of these movements were powerfully used by the Lord. It is time for another. Just as in dreams you have heard me mention in past GH15 posts, I am in Ken’s dream. God is not saying I am to lead the movement spoken of in the dream. As a leader in the prayer movement, I represent calling men to prayer. Ken shares: ********************** “On August 24, 2021, the Lord gave me a dream. I believe it is for now as we birth a third great awakening in America. “In the dream, my wife, Cheryl, and I are attending a service where Dutch Sheets will be speaking. We enter the building, and I quickly discern that the spiritual atmosphere does not feel conducive to a move of God or revival. Something isn’t right. As we move further into the facility, we see that Dutch is sitting in the middle of the right hand section of the room. This is unusual since speakers are typically seated on the front row. Cheryl and I then find a seat next to Dutch and begin a conversation with him. Two retired pastors are leading worship as the service begins. It is music from an older type of worship, very much an old wineskin. The spiritual climate moves from bad to worse. The service is lifeless and needs to shift! “The time comes for Dutch to speak. As he approaches to receive the microphone, one of the worship leaders refuses to hand it over. What is typically a smooth transition has now become a ‘tug of war.’ That which is retired and lifeless - the old - tries to hold onto control. The former does not want to give way to the new. Finally, Dutch wrestles the mic from the worship leader’s hand. The battle is both physical and spiritual! As he takes the microphone, the spiritual atmosphere begins to change. “Dutch lifts the hand-held mic and before he can even speak, Holy Spirit manifests in a powerful way. In the service, there are one hundred men - two from each state. As the Spirit of the Lord manifests, every man in the house falls to the floor, laying prostrate before God. They begin weeping and travailing in birthing prayer for their state and also for the nation. The cry of each man is deep, and the groans and travail are intense like one might hear when a woman gives birth. This groaning, however, was truly born of the Spirit. Holy Spirit was calling men to give birth to the greatest move of God in America’s history. “Dutch then begins to identify each man and their state. He comes to me and says, ‘I know this man; he is Ken Malone from Florida.’ The travail continues as each man remains on the floor, unable to move. Prayers are being released that will shift the nation. I realize in the dream that Yahweh’s approval is on each of them as they have abandoned their desires and embraced His. Each man’s wife was standing beside her husband as he prayed. I knew these women were watching over their spouses to make sure nothing interfered with their intercession. “I then heard the Lord say, ‘I’m calling MEN to birth revival in this nation through prayer. This is the game-changer.’ “Several scriptures came to me: ‘A voice of uproar from the city, a voice from the temple, the voice of the Lord who is rendering recompense to His enemies. Before she travailed, she brought forth; Before her pain came, she gave birth to a boy. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons.’ (Isaiah 66:6-8 NASB) “From Jeremiah 30:6 (NASB): ‘Ask now, and see if a male can give birth. Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in childbirth? And why have all faces turned pale?’ “And Psalm 42:7 (NASB): ‘Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.’” The dream ends. Ken continues to share: “I awoke weeping for America. I fell asleep again, and the dream continued. I was travailing again for my state and for America. When I awoke the second time, my body was shaking as I wept deeply for our nation. The second dream ended. “I am grateful for the men and women who have led the current prayer movement across America. However, over the years, most of our prayer gatherings have consisted primarily of faithful women who have answered the call of intercession. I’m so thankful for them, and for the few men who have joined them. We are where we are because of the faithful crying out to Yahweh on behalf of our great nation. “However, there is a call from heaven today to the hearts of men, a call for male prayer warriors to also arise. It is a cry for men to become raw and passionate before the Lord in their dedication and commitment to Him. Holy Spirit desires for men to groan and travail in prayer for America. Nations can shift and turn to our Lord through the birthing prayer of not only women, but also men. “As I have shared this dream, many men have answered the call to prayer. I have found that men do want to pray and intercede. There is a deep desire within their hearts to help birth a third great awakening in this nation that will surpass both the first and second great awakenings. “I have also seen that men are waiting to be led; they must be led by other strong men. Iron sharpens iron (see Psalm 27:17). Many men are yet untrained in prayer but are passionate warriors. These men have become fed up with the current state of America and want to do their part to see change. When trained and properly led, their intercession becomes fervent, without the filters of religion. They must be taught and empowered, then encouraged to do this work of intercession. We need to encourage men to become unrestrained prayer warriors! Religion and demonic powers have worked hard to keep MEN out of the seats of authority assigned to them by our Heavenly Father, but many are ready to go to battle for their families, cities, states, and nation. “In the dream, religion wanted to restrain and hold back God’s power. Second Timothy 3:5 tells us that many pretend to have a respect for God but want nothing to do with his power. This must change. “In the dream, each wife was watching (being a watchman) over her husband. They refused to allow anything to interfere with their husbands hearing and fulfilling the call Holy Spirit was bringing them. Not only were they guarding their husbands, but they were in complete agreement with this travailing prayer, and with them becoming spiritual leaders for their household and nation. “I am calling on men to appeal to heaven in prayer, travail, and intercession for this nation. I believe that through them, Yahweh can bring great change to America!” ******************************* Pray with me: Father, as men, we boldly come face to face with You. We turn our hearts toward Your desire for America to return to You. We commit today that we will answer this call of intercession. Connect us with other men who have no agenda except to make Jesus king over their lives. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen. Our decree: As men, we determine to fight through prayer. We will not be bogged down by the restraints of religion. Father, we decree that we will answer the call in this era. We will fight in prayer. We declare that America will not die! We declare that You, Father, will remember Your covenant with our country and will have mercy on us! We decree that hearts will be turned to You and You will save America! I get that some people are simply uninformed and ignorant. Also, I realize that others have been propagandized and deceived - they actually believe the foolish ideologies and dogmas of the left. This seemed easy to comprehend. But I was wondering how the very educated and seemingly smart individuals in government, media, and education could be so blind to the effects of their decisions. Consider the following examples: Our border crisis: no honest person could believe it is healthy for a nation to not have secure borders. With our open borders: human trafficking is now rampant; rapes are common; children come in by the thousands without adult care; terrorists, criminals, and gang members come in by the hundreds, probably thousands; fentanyl and other drugs flow into our nation by the truckload - 100,000 people (mostly young people) were killed in the past year by overdoses… all in order for the left to increase their voter base. This is unconscionable. Inflation: The economic situation is out of control and will get worse before it gets better. Gas prices will continue to skyrocket and food prices will, as well. Shortages will continue and increase. This is all avoidable but, unfortunately, the left’s hatred of fossil fuels trumps the suffering their ideology is creating. A recent report I saw from the farming industry stated emphatically that the current food shortages and price increases are nothing compared to what is coming. Crime: I knew before I even heard of “the summer of rage” being called for by the radical left, that the violence was coming. Fasten your seatbelts - it is going to get ugly. And liberal DA’s around the nation refuse to prosecute criminals and anarchists. Mandates: Any honest person could see how the mandates of the past two years were hurting people more than helping them, especially our children. Lives were lost, mental problems were caused, financial devastation was incurred, and damage to the development of our children - mentally, emotionally, and physically - was staggering. It will take years for all of the negative effects to be fully understood. In spite of all this, the left was unmoved. Transgenderism: The immorality we allowed into America over the past 50 years has now devolved into moronic thinking. The assertion that preschoolers should be taught that they can change or choose their own gender is, quite frankly, depraved and unthinkable. Government: out of control, corrupt and inept. No explanation needed. While pondering those things, and asking myself the question, “Why can’t these people see what they are doing to our nation?” the answer became obvious. They can no longer be given the benefit of the doubt - they do see it. The thought then occurred to me, “When people double down on stupid, it is not always stupidity. Sometimes it is intentional.” The highly educated and intelligent people making these decisions know exactly what they are doing. It is all intended to give them more control, keep them in power, and reshape America as a weaker, non-Christian, socialist and globalist nation. And sadly, many of those who actually do believe the insanity are willfully ignorant. The following verses are applicable: “They say to God, ‘Depart from us! We do not even desire the knowledge of Your ways.’” (Job 21:14) “But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing. They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 7:11-12) “For the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.” (Matthew 13:15) “And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.” (Romans 1:28) “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness." (Ephesians 4:17-19) I have good news and bad news to share. First, the bad: This is going to get worse before it gets better. Contrary to what some think, faith is not denying the existence of facts and reality, it is the refusal to accept them as the final verdict: Faith is a strong conviction that God is not at the mercy of facts, evil and destructive circumstances. It is an unshakable confidence that these things can be changed through prayer, God’s power, and faith in His word. Why do I believe things will get worse before they get better? Because Americans - including the church - allowed unrighteous, ungodly, and unprincipled people to be placed in power and their tenure isn’t over. What we now have, we allowed. Past wake-up calls over the last couple of decades went unheeded and now we are reaping the whirlwind. The merciful shaking - caused by our rejection of God and truth - will serve its purpose of exposing evil and awakening our nation. Now, the good news: God has NOT given up on America. He is NOT finished with this nation being a voice for Him throughout the earth. He WILL send the great awakening we often speak of and turn this nation around. The greatest harvest in history IS coming and WILL NOT be stopped. America will play an important role. He has CHOSEN to use us, and He will - not exclusively, but we will play a significant role. Because of this, I am confident America shall be saved! My counsel to the remnant Ekklesia in this season is: do not waiver in your faith, persevere in your prayers and obedience, and keep your focus on the Lord and what He is doing. Isaiah 26.3-4 (AMP) tells us: “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character] Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].” Be strong, church! We always triumph in Christ. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your great mercy. America has, in a most blatant way, rejected You, Your Son, and Your ways. We have no one to blame for our problems but ourselves - we’re reaping the wages of sin. However, the condition we are experiencing is why revival comes. Common sense alone tells us that revival comes because people need it, not because they are healthy and filled with life. We are confident in Your love. We are confident that You love to save. We are confident that Your mercy triumphs over judgment. We are confident that heaven rejoices over one lost soul coming to Christ. We are confident that You love the world - that’s why You sent Your Son. We are confident that no shaking can damage or hinder Your kingdom. And we are confident that America shall be saved and returned to her role as a voice for You on the earth. As Christ taught us, we command forth Your kingdom rule and will on earth, as it is in heaven! Amen. Trusting God for His provision sometimes becomes challenging and downright tough. Right now we all are touched by high food prices and skyrocketing gas prices. When we read the news, we continue to see opportunities to allow our trust to wain, and if we’re not careful, hopelessness washes over us. When despair tries to crush us, that’s when we must tell ourselves the truth: God’s Word is true; He is faithful; He’s a good Father, He never fails. We must also possess and maintain vision for what we know is God’s desire for us and for America. Sometimes we have to re-evaluate our hearts, where we spend our time and money, and make sure we are still focused. Proverbs 29:18 (NKJV) says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” The Amplified Translation says, “Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish.” We must receive and maintain God-birthed vision now - vision that will motivate us to faith and action. Vision is a life-changer, a rearranger. Its hunger can be insatiable, a motivating force creating energy and energizing creativity. Vision moves us from mere mental assent to physical action. It separates the doer from the hearer only, the disciple from the convert, and excellence from mediocrity. It is also what separates a reaped harvest from a ripe harvest (see Matthew 9:37). People change careers due to Holy Spirit-generated vision. Some have walked away from ease and comfort, others earthly fame as this awesome force of heaven moved into their lives. It can mess things up, alter lifestyles, rock the boat. Visionaries rarely go with the flow - they create it. I remember hearing Wayne Myers, a well-known missionary to Mexico, speak in the first missions conference I ever attended. I was single at the time and still living at home, 22 or 23 years old. The first night the host church ended up with about a third of my bank account for their missions program. The second night they got another third. You guessed it: The last night I gave the rest. If there had been a fourth night, I’d have been walking home - I’d have sown my car! There was no manipulation: Wayne didn’t coerce me to give them money. No one pressured me. What happened? Some of the all-consuming, all-encompassing vision he has for reaching the world with the gospel was imparted to me - the impossible-to-explain, you-just-have-to-experience-it, Holy Ghost osmosis which sometimes happens. I’ve given to missions ever since. I remember when I received vision to minister to those devastated by pain and suffering. It was 1976, February 10, to be exact. The country was Guatemala, the village was San Pedro, the setting was a food line. I was a server, dishing soup to hungry women and children who had lost everything the previous week in an earthquake that killed 30,000 people and left a million homeless. I vividly recall dishing soup into cans, bottles, jars (whole or broken), and whatever else people could find to hold a little soup. I also remember looking at the last lady in line - a mother holding her 2 or 3-year-old child, who likely hadn’t eaten in days, and telling her there was “no mas” (no more). Things got all messed up in my life at that moment! I could no longer look the other way and pretend not to see the needs of suffering humanity. I had looked into hungry eyes…hopeless eyes…haunting eyes. Plans were changed, spending habits altered, and priorities rearranged. Vision had come to me. Things have never been quite the same since. Oh, for spiritual eyes NOW to see the potential harvest! For ears to hear the word of the Lord. For insights to understand the times! God is speaking a clear word to those who are listening. Can you feel the breeze of Pentecost picking up? No, it’s not yet the rushing, mighty wind, but the breeze is beginning to blow. I feel it when I pray, worship, and commune with Father. I feel it as I traverse this country trumpeting a wake-up call. From Ezekiel 37: 1-10 (Amplified Bible): “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. And He caused me to pass round about among them, and behold, there were very many [human bones] in the open valley or plain, and behold, they were very dry. And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know! Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath and spirit to enter you, and you shall live; And I will lay sinews upon you and bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin, and I will put breath and spirit in you, and you [dry bones] shall live; and you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service]. So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a [thundering] noise and behold, a shaking and trembling and a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked and behold, there were sinews upon [the bones] and flesh came upon them and skin covered them over, but there was no breath or spirit in them. Then said He to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath and spirit, son of man, and say to the breath and spirit, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath and spirit, and breathe upon these slain that they may live.’ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath and spirit came into [the bones], and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great host.” I hear the Father asking, “Can America’s dry bones live?” He wants to awaken faith in us. If we will hear and obey, the God of the wind will be unleashed. I, as Elijah did, hear the “sound of abundance of rain” (I Kings 18:41, KJV). The sound isn’t yet thunder - don’t expect it to be that loud. It is a gentle rumbling in the distance. But it is ominous. It is the voice of the Lord. If we can only hear that sound - just as Elijah did - the strongholds of Baal will be overthrown! Woe to the Ahabs and Jezebels of our day! Our God is about to answer by fire (cleansing). And just as Israel did, the people will say, “The Lord, He is God” (revelation and repentance), and the rains will come - the rains of revival. Pray with me: Bring vision to Your people, Father. Finish Your cleansing work and let the fire fall. Then release Your wind. Breathe on us again…intensely! May we in America turn to You with all our hearts. Let the rains come. We're dry and thirsty. Let the river of life flow with great force to all the earth. Bring a mighty flood! In Jesus’ name we ask. Amen. The left is trying to propagandize them at such a young age now, it is truly appalling. Though we genuinely love and pray for these individuals, we must also pray against and work to stop their agenda. According to Blaze Media, “A North Carolina preschool teacher used LGBTQ-themed flashcards to instruct students — one card apparently shows a pregnant man, WTCD TV reported. The teacher has resigned…The flashcards — apparently used to teach colors to students — reportedly were found in a preschool classroom at Ballentine Elementary School in Fuquay-Varina, the station said.” [1] Then there is the new Barbie doll. According to The Daily Signal, “It’s no longer just Barbie and Ken. Mattel has created a transgender Barbie in the likeness of actor Laverne Cox, a biological male who identifies as a female. Cox, who gained notoriety in the Netflix series ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ worked with Mattel to design the doll. “‘It’s been a dream for years to work with Barbie to create my own doll,’ Cox said in a statement. ‘I can’t wait for fans to find my doll on shelves and have the opportunity to add a Barbie doll modeled after a transgender person to their collection.’”[2] As you know, I asked several friends to record Give Him 15 posts for me to use while we were on vacation recently. Some were kind enough to send me more than one recording, so I ended up with three or four extras. My plan was to save them for a few weeks or months from now. However, I feel this subject is so urgent, that I have decided to use the following excellent post by Cheryl Sacks today. It spells out the critical need for us to pray for our kids. Here is what Cheryl had to say: *********************** “Noah Webster, the historic American patriot and originator of the classic Merriam-Webster Dictionary, has been called ‘the Father of American Scholarship and Education.’ He said this: “‘The education of youth should be watched with the most scrupulous attention. . . [For it] lays the foundations on which both law and gospel rest for success.’ “What would Noah Webster think, I wonder, if he were to show up in America today? I believe he would be shocked and saddened beyond belief. “Here in 2022, our education system and its children are under moral and intellectual assault like never before. While this has been going on for some time behind the scenes, the COVID-19 pandemic, which had children distance-learning across the kitchen table, brought to the spotlight shocking revelations. Parents discovered that instead of being taught the basics — reading, writing, and arithmetic — their kids are being fed lessons on highly divisive topics of questionable academic benefit. All the while, less than half of graduating seniors can proficiently read or even complete math problems.[3] “The shortage of schoolteachers, counselors, and support staff since schools reopened to in-person learning, is compounding the problem and having a dramatic negative impact on the quality of our students’ education. “Not only is America’s education system lacking a focus on academic results, many, if not most, textbooks have been drastically revised to present a new view of America and world history, and the history of humanity. Much of the teaching directs students’ spirits and intellects away from the Lord and toward ungodly and destructive philosophies and worldviews. “One example is that for 150 years the founders of our country were described in textbooks as devout Christians who actively practiced their faith even in their roles in government. Today our Christian heritage is disappearing from textbooks and the nation’s founding is being reframed as one solely rooted in racism and exploitation. The valiant fight of our forefathers, who gave up everything to secure our religious freedom, is no longer celebrated. Students are being groomed to hate rather than love our nation.[4] “Science is presented as a system of knowledge that excludes God. Fewer and fewer Americans believe in a clear and distinct right or wrong, and often our public schools are reinforcing these new norms as ‘progressive,’ ‘just,’ and ‘inclusive.’ “In sex education classes, for example, our children as young as kindergarten are being taught about marriage, identity, and sexuality ‘norms’ that are outside of God’s biblical plan. Sexuality, once an educational responsibility of parents, has moved not just into the mainstream of education, but to the extreme. “Our schoolchildren are being exposed to pressure to accept and embrace transgenderism. Some schools have been bringing in ‘Drag Queens’ to teach students about alternative lifestyles, calling them “models of diversity.” These individuals teach, entertain, and educate kids about being transgender. LGBTQ+ curriculums are being taught in public schools across the nation, and one program has even come to be known as ‘Drag Queen Story Time.’ [5] “At a middle school in Massachusetts, the school principal allowed her staff members to meet secretly with an 11-year-old girl interested in becoming a boy and her 12-year-old brother interested in becoming a girl. A teacher who knew the parents notified them immediately—and was promptly fired for violating the privacy rights of the minor students by alerting the parents. “In a recent similar incident, a school nurse in Connecticut was fired for disclosing that teachers were giving gender blockers to pre-teen students—behind their parents’ backs![6] “In Delaware, one school district’s curriculum includes the book Jacob’s New Dress for K-3 students. The text is included as part of the district’s Social Emotional Learning curriculum, which teaches progressive social ideology on race and gender to primary students.[7] “At a middle school in California, two teachers stalked students online to help identify students they felt would ‘benefit’ from attending the school’s LGBTQ club. They recruited a 12-year-old student without telling the student’s parents. The teachers who used the internet to find vulnerable children to mentor into becoming transgender did not lose their jobs or suffer suspension, even after parents brought the issue to the school board’s attention. “The angry parents in these situations have learned that punishment evades public school perpetrators because powerful institutions support them in their immorality—the U.S. Department of Education and the National Education Association are two chief supporters of this ideology.[8] “It is no surprise that student sexual activity, pregnancies, pornography, STDs, gender dysphoria, and homosexuality continue to explode in our young people. It is probably fair to say this is the most sexually confused and conflicted generation our society has ever seen. Our students are being pressured into sexual activity at younger and younger ages, by peers, the culture and media, and now even by the schools themselves as graphic sex-ed courses push their way into more and more districts. “We must pray for our children, our teachers, and our school boards and also vote, run for office, and speak up that this destructive agenda does not make its way into the curricula of our local schools—and, where it has been implemented in districts, that it will be exposed and removed. “You and I, as godly parents and leaders, and members of the Body of Christ, must both raise up the next generation in God’s Truth and come alongside them in fervent prayer—standing in the gap to defeat the enemy’s schemes of deception, division, secularism, immorality, and perversion. “Our children need our prayers for protection and purity, and the preservation of their innocence. Schoolteachers and administrators need wisdom and courage to push back against immoral guidelines and curricula that promote these ideologies and behaviors. Legislators, too, need wisdom and courage to prevail when legislation comes through asking for a vote on promoting these programs. “It’s time for us to stand with this generation, interceding for the preservation of their destinies. It is time to reclaim a generation!” ********************* Pray with me: Lord, we ask that You shine Your light upon our schools and drive out all darkness, spiritual blindness, perversion of truth, and hostility toward You and Your truth. We pray that all attempts to use curricula in our schools as a way to disciple our young people in humanism, moral relativism, and other godless ideologies would be stopped. We ask for teachers and school boards to select curricula that preserve our godly heritage as a nation and honor You. Father, when teachers and students are confroned with subject matter that goes against their biblical worldview, we call upon You to give them courage. Lord, we recognize we do not battle against mere flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers in heavenly places. It is evident that there is a spiritual agenda to destroy the innocence and purity of our children, corrupt them, and lead them down the wrong path with regard to their God-given sexuality and identity. God, as we face these enemy forces that would lead our students into deception and sexual sin, we declare that You have promised to preserve the godly inheritance of parents and our nation—and that heritage is our children. We take authority in Jesus’ name over every wicked spirit that brings these messages of division, corruption, perversion, and immorality to our precious children. This day, we ask for Your deliverance for our schools and our children from these enemy forces. We pray all deception and efforts made in secrecy to influence and corrupt our children would be exposed, brought into the light, and defeated, in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray for our children, that Your Spirit would fill them with a desire and value for truth and purity. Give them the courage to stand strong against peer pressure and the lies of the enemy and our culture. Help them turn from the path of death to life, in Jesus’ name. Our decree: We decree that our children will recognize, embrace, and walk in Your truth, and that they will fulfill the purpose and destiny to which You have called them. The first dream occurred in July, 2021, and ended with the phrase: “To Be Continued.” In a moment, I will share the second dream. The setting in the first dream was Wales. Evan Roberts, one of the leaders of the Welsh revival, was handing our generation the mantle he and others had carried in that great outpouring. During the dream, it grew into a much larger mantle in order to produce broader results. In the end, those who received it were transported by Holy Spirit back to America. If you have not read the dream, I strongly recommend that you pause and look at Tuesday‘s post. It will encourage you and give context. Describing the second dream, Gina says: ****************** “On May 21, 2022, I dreamed that Pastors Paul and Kim Owens (pastors in Arizona; they were also with Gina in the first dream), a couple of other people (whose identities I can’t recall), my assistant, Darlene, and I were at Fields of the Wood near Murphy, NC. This is the location where we ‘landed’ at the end of the Revival Mantle Dream I had on July 5, 2021. “We were sitting near the gift shop, all facing outward, toward the parking area and the pond located there. We had come to this place on a prayer assignment, and were now sitting, reflecting on the day. We were also praying, ‘Lord, what do we do now?’ As we prayed this, a car pulled up in the parking lot and parked close to where we were sitting. A few young people exited the car and went scurrying off to the gift shop. The passenger door opened and an elderly lady got out of the car. We could see that she was very emaciated, skin and bones. She was very weak, frail and could barely walk on her own. I ran over to help her. “She said, ‘Thank you, honey.’ “I replied to her, ‘Come and sit with us.’ “I led her up to where we were sitting. She was dressed in very nice clothes with a long-sleeved, jacket-type shirt, and I saw that she had on very thick wool socks with no shoes. This was unusual since it was very hot that day. I asked if she was cold. “She said, almost in tears, ‘O, yes, I am really cold. I just can’t seem to get warm.’ “I responded, ‘Well, we have this mantle, and if you’ll sit down here, I’ll cover you up. It’s very heavy, so we can’t put much of it on you - there’s no way you could hold up under the entire weight of it. But we can wrap you up in the corner of it.’ “Kim and Darlene helped me take part of the mantle and wrap it around the lady. As soon as we did, she said, ‘Wow! What is this?’ “Then the three of us looked at one another as a revelation hit us, ‘It’s the mantle of REVIV-AL!’ [revive all] “I said to the lady, ‘This is the mantle of revival, and it revives.’ “She said, ‘I feel it! I feel it!’ “We watched as, right before our eyes, strength and life came into this lady. Her body filled out and was completely restored. She began smiling and glowing with peace and joy. We sat with her, rejoicing over her miracle. After a while she left, and we all sat there looking at one another in amazement, wondering, ‘What just happened?’ We were shocked! “Then the Lord spoke - AUDIBLY! We all heard His voice. ‘I gave you the mantle, now I’m going to show you what to do with it. It’s not just to be worn and talked about because of its beauty. There is purpose for this mantle, and there is purpose for My placing of it on you. You must learn how to use it for My purposes. This is My answer to your question, “What do we do now?” You must learn how to use the mantle.’ “Suddenly, people began coming to us, telling us of various problems, health issues, or other situations they were dealing with. We would listen, then sit them down at the table and wrap them in the mantle. “One young couple was weeping due to severe marital problems. We wrapped them in the corner of the mantle and they were both healed, delivered of emotional issues, and their marriage was restored. “Another man came on crutches. He had undergone knee surgery and something had gone wrong, permanently damaging his knee. We wrapped him in the mantle and, instantly, he was healed. “Some who came were not believers. They had witnessed what was happening, approached us, and asked what was going on. We would tell them about Jesus and His power to heal, deliver, and save. Then we would wrap them in the mantle, and they would be gloriously saved and instantly baptized in the Holy Ghost. We could literally see a physical transformation as the joy of the Lord would overtake their entire countenance. “Over and over people came. We only used the corner of the mantle to cover them because we knew the full weight of it would be too great for them. Yet, there was so much power in just the corner of it that everyone who came, supernaturally received what they had need of. They all rejoiced and gave glory to God. “Throughout the dream, God kept speaking to us audibly, saying, ‘This is the mantle of REVIV-AL. It’s purpose is to revive, to make alive again, to bring change. It is not for looks or show, and it’s not for the exaltation of those who wear it. There’s a purpose in My putting the mantle on you, and now I’m going to teach you how to use it for My purpose.’ “We were all so happy. We kept rejoicing, looking at each other in complete amazement and excitement for all we were witnessing. And we knew the fruit of the mantle was only beginning. (End of dream.) “When I woke from this dream, I was literally sobbing! It was so real - it felt as if I had literally been there. I was just wrecked by the presence of God as I realized this was the continuation of last July’s dream. God is going to teach us how to use the mantle to reveal His power and make Him known.” ******************** What we see as delay is sometimes God preparing us for what is coming. It is a season of training, instruction, and preparation. He has been preparing His Ekklesia for this great revival. We will release His authority, yes, but also His love and mercy. Prepare..! Wrap yourself in His presence so He can wrap you in His mantle - the mantle of revival. This is coming..! Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your great love and compassion. You sent Christ, our Messiah, because You loved the world so much (John 3:16). Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness (1 John 3:8), and we are called to enforce His victory, in His name (Mark 16:15-20; Matthew 16:18-19). We know You are mantling us now for another phase of this. As we draw near to You, You will draw near to us, and You are bringing a big mantle with You. Wrap us in it! Clothe us with Yourself! And Lord, we continue to pray for peace and healing to those who have recently suffered such incredible loss, be it Uvalde, Buffalo, those in other nations such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria, and elsewhere. Comfort them. But most of all send a sweeping revival to save their eternal spirits. We thank You for Your promise that America shall be saved. We know this revival will be the catalyst for that to occur. We also know, however, that evil leaders must be removed, and lovers of righteousness and truth replace them. We ask for this to take place in government, education, media, and every strata of society. And we ask all of these things in the name of Yeshua, amen. Our decree: We decree that our God, who is love, is coming to love the hurting and judge evil. ********************** One more thing: Before ending today’s post, I’d like to also share another fruit of this great Welsh Revival. As a young man, the great leader and intercessor, Rees Howells, was greatly impacted by the outpouring. In 1924, Rees established The Bible College of Wales in Swansea. In its now-famous prayer room (The Blue Room), many believe that his and the students’ prayers actually helped to win World War II. However, after Howells’ death, the Bible College fell into disrepair and eventually closed. A pastor whose life had been remarkedly touched by the teachings of Rees Howells, along with his congregation in Singapore (Pastor Tuck Yang and Cornerstone Community Church), raised the funds to rebuild and reopen The Bible College of Wales. Now, once again, they host students from around the world to study the Word and drink from the wells of revival and prayer (for a three-month term). Their purpose is “to train and equip those who have a call to ministry in the church, marketplace, or in cross-cultural missions.” I have visited and taught in this amazing school. The BCW recently graduated their 13th class, and are slated to begin another in the Fall of 2022. By highlighting this awakening, Holy Spirit is not telling us He will replicate exactly what happened in the Welsh awakening. Nor are we to seek Evan Roberts’ mantle of revival. Holy Spirit owns and dispenses mantles. We seek God, not people. Nor are we to try and duplicate or copy what Holy Spirit did in the past. We can, however, be inspired and instructed by it. And also, by honoring what Holy Spirit did then, as well as the efforts of those He used, we can drink from the same well of power and anointing. By using this revival as a picture of what He is about to do, God is saying to our generation, “I am about to bring forth an earth-shaking, nation-changing outpouring of my Holy Spirit. It will produce great deliverances, salvations, healings, and societal transformation.” The Welsh Revival I feel that today, before sharing the sequel dream tomorrow, I should relate some facts regarding the Welsh revival; they will be helpful and encouraging. The visitation of the Holy Spirit in Wales in 1904-1905 was widespread and felt everywhere. It truly was a revival where God, in answer to prayer, poured out His presence unilaterally, and without focus on any one leader. The services were full, packed to the brim with people, hungry to receive from the Lord. The Welsh love to sing and this revival was sometimes called The Singing Revival. The Bible College of Wales shares: “The singing would segue into intercession as loud cries of ‘mercy’ rose to heaven like incense. All over the country, testimonies of hardened souls receiving salvation and lives being changed were heard. The impact of the Lord’s hand was evident. Stories of courts abandoned due to a lack of crime and bars shutting down were commonplace. Entertainment, such as football matches, lacked attendance as people were so hungry for His presence. Sales of pocket Testaments were snapped up as people hungered for the Bread of Life. “A story was told of how the horses in the mines were confused because they had been driven by men using profanity and kicks, but those disappeared. The Revival so seized the nation that the Western Mail in Cardiff published ‘Revival Editions.’ How often does one see religious news take front page in a national and secular newspaper? In these editions, revival news superseded current affairs, and testimonies replaced tabloids, telling of how the Welsh were more interested in God and His kingdom than the affairs of this world. The back of the paper even contained a hymn and a summary of the number of conversions to date.”(1) Amazing! Evan Roberts was one of the leaders of this revival. Revival-library.org tells us: “The great turning point in his [Roberts] life was when he visited a meeting at Blaenannerch where Seth Joshua was preaching. He was perhaps the most powerful preacher in Wales at the time and was holding evangelistic meetings throughout the nation. In one meeting, Roberts heard the evangelist pray ‘Lord, bend us’ and the words stuck to his heart and mind. The Holy Spirit said to Evan, ‘That’s what you need.’ He knew he had to consecrate himself to God before the Spirit would come through his ministry. “The next day he felt as if he was bursting inside in the chapel meeting. ‘I felt a living power pervading my bosom. It took my breath away and my legs trembled exceedingly. This living power became stronger and stronger as each one prayed, until I felt it would tear me apart. I fell on my knees with my arms over the seat in front of me. My face was bathed in perspiration, and the tears flowed in streams. I cried out, “Bend me, bend me!!” It was God’s commending love which bent me… what a wave of peace flooded my bosom…. I was filled with compassion for those who must bend at the judgment, and I wept. Following that, the salvation of the human soul was solemnly impressed on me. I felt ablaze with the desire to go through the length and breadth of Wales to tell of the Saviour.’ “The revival started in the South and a few days later broke out in the North, as well; within a few weeks, it had spread to all parts of Wales like a prairie fire. People began to flock to the church buildings. Sometimes all the churches in one town would be filled with people, for up to 24 hours a day. In some places there was preaching, in others, there was just singing and testimonies, in still others just people being led to pray out loud. “The national employment was primarily in the coal mines. These were places of terrible ungodliness, with much swearing, blaspheming, and gambling. But now, services were held hundreds of feet under the earth. Sometimes 300 men would gather to hear the reading of Scripture, sing hymns, and offer prayers. “Of the revival’s results, one of the most marvelous effects was upon the courts of justice throughout Wales. Criminal calendars were reduced to a minimum. Lists of convictions dwindled to nothing. Judges had, instead of the usual long lists of cases awaiting trial, blank sheets of paper, without a single name. “One newspaper report said: ‘Truly God has visited His people in Wales. It is not a question of one town being awakened, but of the whole Principality being on fire. Police courts are idle, family feuds pacified, old-standing debts paid, the family altar re-erected, and Bible study becomes a passion. This is the finger of God. Not only does it hold a large place in the religious weeklies, but the chief Cardiff journals give columns to the Revival each day, and some of the principal London papers give a full column every morning.’ “But above all, there were the converts, 100’s of them! After a very few weeks, there were 10,000, and after a couple of months, there were 30,000. When 6 months had passed there were over 70,000 new Christians and after 9 months the figure leapt to around 100,000 new converts. “Soon the revival spread to other places in South Wales. Teams of young people assisted preachers like Roberts, Sydney Evans, Seth Joshua, Joseph Jenkins, and R. B. Jones. The revival then took hold in North Wales. Within six months 100,000 had come to Christ! “The Welsh Revival was soon the main topic of conversation throughout the Christian world. Wherever the news went it seemed to cause passionate prayer and began to ignite revival fires everywhere. Christians across Great Britain turned to prayer and church membership increased throughout the land. “In Scandinavia, a current revival was fanned into a mighty blaze, as a result of the Welsh Revival. Germany was similarly affected as the flame spread across Europe. Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, the Balkans, and Russia experienced awakenings. “The United States felt the after-shock of the Welsh Revival in almost every place. Prayer, conviction, and conversion spontaneously occurred, resulting in unusual church growth. In 1906 the modern Pentecostal Movement was born on Azusa Street, in Los Angeles, after a succession of local revivals through 1905. News of the Welsh Revival had encouraged more prayer and suddenly the Holy Spirit descended. Daily meetings were held for the next three years. Visitors flocked there to catch the power of the Spirit and they were not disappointed. No one could have imagined that this was the beginning of the greatest and most effective missionary movement the world had ever seen. “Almost no country in the world was excluded from the effects of this incredible revival. Almost every nation, on each continent, received new power from heaven, and a new passion for prayer and the lost. Hundreds of thousands came to the Lord.”(2) Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your Spirit of grace and mercy. You are good, all the time. We thank You for what You did in the Welsh Revival and the subsequent outpourings of Holy Spirit it spawned. It truly was used to impact the world. And now You speak of another, larger outpouring. You say You are mantling Your people with the gifts, anointings, and power necessary to accomplish this. We ask for that. We also pray the prayer of Evan Roberts, “Bend us. Bend our wills to Yours, and our hearts toward the lost and broken.” Send the fires of revival throughout the earth!!! In Christ’s name, Amen. This, combined with the other significant challenges America now faces, can erode hope and attack our faith if we are not careful. With that in mind, I want to share two dreams today, tomorrow, and Thursday, which will be an incredible encouragement to you. They are related/sequel dreams, given to our friend Gina Gholston, the first one in July of last year and the sequel just last week. Allow them to encourage your heart and mind. Gina says: ********************* “July 5, 2021, I dreamed I was with a group of people visiting a place of great significance in revival history. We arrived at the old church, built of grayish/white stone, and stepped inside. [Gina then describes the church in great detail.] “We thought we were alone, but began to hear a man’s voice ringing out from behind the pulpit. Though we could not see the man, as the dreamer of this dream I could see that he was on his knees with his right hand lifted toward heaven; he was in deep, travailing prayer - so intense, so full of passion and sincerity! It was as though he was being emptied out with every word. As he spoke, he would rock back and forth on his knees, with his hand lifted the whole time. His face was red because of the extreme intensity of his prayer. Four or five times he repeated this same prayer: ‘Alas, this cross that I must bear, ’tis not a task for me. Its weight is light, for my delight is to do all that You ask of me! I’m turning now . . . to see Your face; ’tis all that matters to me! I lift mine eyes; Lord, hear my cry. SHOW ME YOUR GLORY!’ “As he prayed, it was as though an electrical current could be tangibly felt; we were all brought to tears as the weightiness of the presence of God completely filled the room. Our group reverently walked to our left and sat down on a pew, not wanting to disturb the man. “I don’t have words to explain this, but the whole atmosphere filled with the pleasure of God. I wish I were able to adequately articulate how it felt! We could feel that God was so pleased with this man and his prayer. The feeling of God’s pleasure was almost tangible. “As he continued to pray, we were all sobbing, overcome by the presence of the Lord, and the man heard us. He arose from his knees and walked toward the pulpit. I noticed that he was a tall, young man, and had on clothing from the early 1900s. He leaned over the pulpit and saw us there. With his elbows on the pulpit and his face resting in his hands, the man gazed at us and said, with deep emotion, almost in a whisper, ‘You came! You’re here!’ “He then stood up straight, and we saw that he was cloaked, not with natural clothing, but with what appeared to be a type of robe. The robe was very thick, bulky, and long, touching the floor, old, and extremely heavy. He then said to us, ‘I have been waiting for you!’ He put his hand on the robe, and said, ‘I wore this for my time, and it was all that I desired! It was all that I desired!’ “I was almost afraid to speak, but I reverently asked, ‘What is it?’ “He answered with such respect for it, ‘It’s the mantle of revival!’ “I then asked, ‘Who are you?’ “He said, ‘That is not important. What is important is that you came to get this mantle. You have been sent here for this purpose.’ “We had thought we were there just to see the building, but we now understood we had been deliberately and supernaturally brought there by God to receive this mantle. This realization was overwhelming to each one of us. “The young man then began telling us stories about the mantle— how he had received it, and stories of the experiences he had in his time while carrying it. We then realized this mantle was the ‘cross’ he was so intently speaking about in his prayer. Though heavy, it had not been a burden for him, but rather the greatest joy of his life! “As he spoke to us, we noticed that the mantle, which was still on him, was supernaturally growing, extending with every word he spoke, and filling up the stage. He said, ‘In my time, I cried out to God and asked for at least 100,000 souls to be touched and changed by Holy Spirit’s power. In your time, however, it must be much greater.’ The mantle continued to grow, and he continued to speak, giving us instruction and revelation about this mantle. He was doing so because it was being passed to us so we would carry it for our era. “As we listened in awe to what he was saying, the full realization hit us that we were going to carry this mantle, and we all looked at each other with a look that said, ‘We can’t carry that! It’s too heavy! It’s too big!’ We were amazed that he was still able to stand under the weight of it as he spoke. I was so overcome by the magnitude of what was happening I was sobbing. Getting up off the pew, I stepped into an aisle and fell to my knees. Everyone did. Knowing we had been sent by God to receive this mantle, I asked the question we were all thinking: ‘How can we carry it? It’s SO big!’ Naturally speaking, this seemed impossible! “The man responded, ‘You cannot wear this mantle and look forward or around you. If you do, it will be misused and torn; it will become cumbersome and even wearisome for you. You must ever look upward and be completely enthralled by the Lord. Focus on Him! Pursue Him! Long for Him! And soon the weight of the mantle will be absorbed by the passion in your heart for more of Him.’ “He then said, with profound joy, ‘Now . . . it’s your time to carry the mantle!’ “In unison, still weeping, we said, ‘We receive it! We don’t completely know how, but we receive it!’ Then, out of the depths of our beings, we began to pray the same prayer the man had been praying at the beginning of the dream. It became the cry of each of our hearts: ‘Alas, this cross that I must bear ’tis not a task for me. Its weight is light, for my delight, is to do all that You ask of me! I’m turning now to see Your face, ’tis all that matters to me! I lift mine eyes; Lord, hear my cry. SHOW ME YOUR GLORY!’ “The man stepped down from the pulpit, back onto the stage, and was gone. (I do not know who the man was, but I believe it was Evan Roberts, a young man who was instrumental in the great Welsh revival that took place in the early 1900s. And I feel that Moriah Chapel in Wales, where the revival began, was the church where we stood.) “Still on our knees, releasing the intense prayer that had now become our prayer, the mantle was lifted from the stage and placed on us. It covered us, and was now big enough to fill the entire church! As it covered us, the mantle became a glider, lifted us up and began transporting us. We were carried by the mantle over the ocean, then over land and mountains. We landed, facing west. “With the mantle still covering us, we all knew we were in the mountains of North Carolina, at the location where Holy Spirit came upon a small group of men in the late 1800s and early 1900s (now called Fields of the Wood). Her insights are excellent and would be very beneficial.] These men later launched the Church of God and Church of God of Prophecy denominations. Out in front of us, in the span of about twenty feet in width, we saw white stones making up letters, approximately four feet tall, spelling the words: ‘TO BE CONTINUED.’” End of the dream. ******************** Dutch: I will share information regarding the Welsh revival in tomorrow’s post. This incredible outpouring was one of the greatest revivals in all of church history, impacting the entire nation. Her dream ended with: “TO BE CONTINUED.” Thursday, I will share Gina‘s profound sequel dream. Pray with me: Father, thank You so much for this amazing and encouraging dream. When the enemy tries to erode our faith, You are faithful to sustain us with encouraging prophetic words, dreams, and revelation from Scripture. We are confident that even as shaking intensifies, as evil increases, grace will increase more than the evil and bring revival to America and the world (Matthew 24:12; Romans 5:20; Isaiah 9:6-7). Thank You! We say with our friends in the dream, “We receive this mantle of revival. And our focus, passion, and affection will remain upward, stayed on You.” Cause this mantle to become huge and heavy, filled with Your incredible glory and power. May it transform hundreds of millions of people and many nations around the world. We know this is Your passion and You will accomplish it. We ask for this in the wonderful, powerful name of Jesus, and fully expect it to occur We also continue to intercede for those grieving in Uvalde, Texas and Buffalo, NY. Bring Your peace and comfort to them in this horrific time. We also pray for Ukraine - deliver and restore them. Break the power of evil there. Remover Putin. And we pray for Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Israel and the surrounding nations. Send deliverance and revival, we pray, in Christ’s name. Amen. Ceci and I enjoyed a wonderful time of rest and refreshing. I want to thank my friends who filled in so effectively for me while we were away. I know you enjoyed their deep insights and great thoughts. The immeasurable tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, occurred while I was gone. There are no words to express the sadness and grief I feel for those involved. I, like many, am heartbroken and angry. We have been, and will continue to pray for the families and this city. On this Memorial Day, we take time to remember those who have given their lives defending our nation. It is a special day and one we honor with sobriety and hearts overflowing with gratitude. I asked our dear friend, Major William Ostan (retired), to share some thoughts with us on this important day. As always, Will does so with great poignancy. *************************** Here are Will’s thoughts: “I have a love/hate relationship with Memorial Day, as I’ve found that the memories of the war-dead both inspire and haunt the living. There are many awful sights, sounds, and smells seared into my soul from deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I cannot shake them, though I’ve tried countless times. I’ve been restored through counseling sessions, but life - through simple, random circumstances - presents constant reminders of the indelible events experienced in a combat zone. “This is especially true during Memorial Day weekend, as it’s the time set apart to reflect on the high price paid by the Fallen. In contrast to Veterans Day, where we honor the brave men and women still living among us who have served and sacrificed in the name of freedom, Memorial Day is for those who have paid the ultimate price. Though physically no longer among us, their legacies are still echoing in eternity. We are intentional to pause and honor these warriors for giving the ‘last full measure of devotion.’[1] “I hate that they are gone, as well as the terrible pain caused by their absence - especially for Gold Star families - but I love that their heroic deeds inspire us to live lives of purpose in their honor. Many servicemen and women will tell you they can still feel the presence of comrades they’ve lost to war through the recounting of their courageous acts. The impact of their sacrifice lives on, prompting a response from those who will listen. If we speak the names of the Fallen, they will never be forgotten. “I’ll never forget the memorial services at Kandahar Airfield during my time as an Army JAG attorney, assigned to a Special Operations Task Force comprised of Army Green Berets and Navy SEALs. During any combat deployment, whenever a warrior is killed in action, a ‘ramp ceremony’ is held, no matter the time of day or night the death occurs. When the call goes out across the battlefield, everyone stops whatever they’re doing and attends the memorial service, even if they haven’t slept in days and it’s zero dark thirty. We celebrate that warrior’s life, and we salute the coffin as it is conveyed up the ramp into the C-130 aircraft that will take the deceased home for their final flight. It is a solemn act of remembrance, full of honor. “The memory of these ramp ceremonies causes me to ask, ‘Am I living my life in a way that’s worthy of the sacrifices made by the Fallen? The brothers and sisters from my units in Iraq and Afghanistan who are no longer with us, would they be proud of me? Or would they be ashamed?’[2] “In this spirit, across America and around the world, thousands of people today will complete a workout called ‘The Murph,’[3] in honor of Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy.,[4] Lieutenant Murphy was a Navy SEAL, who willingly gave his life during an operation gone bad, in order that his fellow SEALs could live. His valorous acts of heroism,[5] for which President George W. Bush awarded him the Medal of Honor,[6] speak louder than any words ever could – inspiring those of us who remain to ensure that the Fallen will never have died in vain. “On July 8th, 2005, Commodore Pete Van Hooser spoke at a memorial service for Lieutenant Murphy and the other fallen members of SEAL Team Ten. His speech is extremely moving, especially when he concludes by saying, ‘This loss will not go unanswered. It is always humbling to be in the presence of warriors.’ [7] “The sentiment ‘this loss will not go unanswered’ strikes me as such a perfect description of the death of Jesus Christ. The greatest injustice ever witnessed by creation did not go unanswered, as Jesus rose from the grave three days later, thereby making a way for us to be with Him for eternity. Furthermore, thousands of years after Jesus commanded His followers to ‘go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,’[8] we are now God’s answer to reach the modern world with the gospel. “You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who loves America more than I do. I am an ardent patriot who bleeds red, white, and blue. However, I realize fighting for America pales in comparison to advancing the cause of Christ. Therefore, we also look to the ‘great cloud of witnesses’ referenced in Hebrews 12:1 to draw strength from their stories. We must be willing to ‘pay any price and bear any burden’[9] to advance Christ’s Kingdom, as we follow the Apostle Paul’s exhortation to ‘walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called.’[10] “Major **** Winters, of Band of Brothers fame, when asked by his granddaughter if he was a hero, answered, ‘No, but I served in the company of heroes.’[11] On this Memorial Day, may we always remember and never forget that we are in the company of heroes and warriors as we stay on mission for Christ, to make His kingdom come on earth, as it is in heaven.” ************************* Pray with me: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the lives of the men and women who have fought and died to protect liberty. You know their names, their unseen acts of courage, and their final resting place. You grasp the significance of a life laid down for others, and how their absence impacts those left grieving and remembering. Father, would You comfort those who mourn, and help each of us know how we must respond, so those losses do not go unanswered. And as we reflect on the most significant sacrifice - that of Your one and only Son - empower us to live our lives in a manner worthy of the calling we have received. And Father, we also pray for those affected by the tragedy in Texas. We ask You to comfort those who have lost family members, and help the entire community deal with the overwhelming shock and grief. Our nation has opened the door to such incredible violence and bloodshed. We ask You to cleanse our land and deliver us from this. Revive us, we pray. And we pray all of this in Christ’s name. Amen. You will recognize most of the names; and I’ve thrown in one or two whom perhaps you haven’t heard from. You’re going to love the insights from all of them - this will be a wonderful smorgasbord! Enjoy! _________________________________________________ Sing Yourself a Prophecy - Kelsey Bohlender I want to talk about our heart’s cry to hear from God, and how sometimes, that word is already written somewhere in our history. Recently, my husband Randy had a dream where he was sitting in a prophetic meeting, weeping because he was so hungry to hear from God. He literally woke up from the dream and moved to the recliner where he fell asleep and dreamed it again. I think we can all relate to that hunger at some level. The truth is, we don’t always get a prophetic word when we want it. Sometimes, the Word of the Lord lingers in our past, and comes alive again when we pull it into the moment. Sometimes we have to sing a song of remembrance to direct our hearts to stand steady, like Moses and Miriam did in the book of Exodus. In Exodus 14, God’s people are in a bad spot, hedged in by the Red Sea and the Egyptian army coming to annihilate them. Moses declared that if they stood firm, they would see the salvation of the Lord, and that the Egyptians they saw today would never be seen again. He was right. God split the sea, the Hebrew people walked through on dry land, and the water swallowed up the pursuing army…but the story was far from over. They wouldn’t face this enemy again, but the future was full of other obstacles. In light of God’s powerful deliverance - the desert road before them, and the questions already bubbling of “what next, Moses” - he chose a curious path of leadership. He didn’t make an inspiring speech, he didn’t call a town hall meeting to discuss options. He chose to sing...about what God had done, what He was doing, and what He was about to do. Perhaps his voice was a little shaky at first, like ours is when we start to sing, but you can almost hear it growing stronger as he recounts what had just happened. The Song of Moses – from Exodus 15: “I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!” As he recounted God’s faithful deliverance, his voice turned from remembering to worshiping: “Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Having established what He had done in the past and honoring who He was in the present, Moses found himself prophesying about days to come: “In Your unfailing love You will lead the people You have redeemed. In Your strength, You will guide them to Your holy dwelling. The nations will hear and tremble…” What brilliant strategy, to sing! Although we love music, my husband, Randy, and I are not particularly musical. Even so, there have been times in seeking the Lord where in lieu of a prophetic word or specific divine direction, we have sung ourselves into the prophetic, and those songs have become the declaration that showed us what God was about to do. Years ago, Randy felt called to go to an event called “Burning Man” as a prophetic witness. “Burning Man” is an eclectic arts festival in the remote desert of Black Rock City, Nevada. For over 20 years, up to 80,000 people have gathered on a dry lake-bed for a week each summer, where they create art and celebrate debauchery beyond the reach of the law, all centered around a 70-foot tall effigy of a man built out of wood. At the end of the week, they light the Burning Man on fire, throw much of their art into the flames, and spend the night dancing around the man. Randy says it’s basically a church picnic if you replace the potato salad and lemonade with acid-laced brownies and vodka. We had never done ministry in this sort of context, and we were a little nervous. Nervous enough to know we needed to hear from God. Nervous enough to fast. We were not experienced in fasting, but we were hungrier for God than we were for food, so we jumped in, fasting for forty days and meeting regularly with others to pray and ask, “Have you heard anything from the Lord?” I wish I could tell you we heard from Him immediately, but I’ll be honest - we didn’t. Even so, we weren’t discouraged. If He wasn’t ready to talk, we were - and we told Him of how He had faithfully moved in the past. Around the 30th day of the fast, the Lord began to speak to us. It was faint at first, and we listened closely. We started getting a vision for what could happen in the desert and we heard a word - rain. Randy and four of his friends loaded an RV with 5,000 bottles of water to give away, and I gathered a small group to pray for the team. Having sensed the word “rain,” we asked a lady who worshipped the Lord with interpretive dance, to help us create a dance that would glorify God for His provision of rain. Miriam and the Israelite ladies danced after the Red Sea crossing, thanking God for victory; we felt led to do it in advance. Our dancing worshipper jumped on it and before you knew it, we were praying and worshipping with the dance nightly, asking the Lord to send rain in the desert. Even WE thought we were a little crazy, but sensed the pleasure of the Lord on it. Randy disappeared into the desert, beyond cell coverage, and for days we worshipped and danced before the Lord, praying for rain, not really sure what was happening. In the desert, Randy and his team were finding great favor. People were very open, not only to receiving a free bottle of water, but also to prayer, hearing about the love of Jesus. The team also prophesied a lot about rain. They had t-shirts printed with a raindrop encircling the Burning Man logo and referred to it as Soaking Man. People laughed. At the end of the week, Randy called me from his cell phone having just gotten a signal. He excitedly told of all that God had done in the desert. Then his voice cracked and he said, “It’s...it’s raining.” I about dropped the phone as I shouted back, “What?!” He said, “It’s raining. We are driving south and a huge rainstorm has rolled in. It’s raining in the desert!” They drove through the night across the United States and by late the next day headlines read, “Thousands leave Burning Man early because of the rain.” That weekend, September 2, 2000, we traveled to Washington, DC for an event, TheCall DC. I brought my little crew of dancing ladies and the night before the event we thought, “We should worship with our dance and ask God to send rain again!” We found an empty hotel ballroom and there, in the nation’s capital, we danced and worshiped and celebrated the rain that had sprung from His word to us, believing for the rain of revival to burst forth on our nation. Maybe that’s why it was especially sweet the next day, with 400,000 people on The Mall in DC, as the last worship leader began to play, a soft rain started to fall. It was like God added His own amen to our prophetic journey. In the midst of seeming darkness encroaching on our land, the word of the Lord is “SING!” Recount His faithfulness. Birthed in revival, America’s founding was sandwiched between the first and second great awakenings. Remember His miraculous deeds. A great outpouring of His Spirit in Topeka, Kansas in 1901 led to the Azusa Street Revival, then decades later healing revivals and stadiums being filled. It is not too late for revival in America. It is not too late for rain in the seeming desert. We might be at a Red Sea moment, but let’s turn from staring at the enemy, look to the sea, engage our faith, and sing of the Promised Land ahead! If you’re hungry to hear from the Lord, follow the example of Moses and Miriam. Declare what He has done until history unfolds into praise, and when praise breaks out, the word of the Lord will follow and you’ll find yourself prophesying. Pray with me: Father, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, and the God who sends rain in the desert. You empowered Moses with a song for the generations to remember Your power and Your greatness. You have spoken through the stories of our lives and You continue to write those stories today. We join our voices and sing the song of Your faithful deliverance. When we don’t hear a clear word, we will sing one – the Lord is great and greatly to be praised, He is good and His mercy endures forever! In Christ name we pray, amen. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ Comfort Zone - Clay Nash “Comfort, comfort My people, says your God.” (Isaiah 40:1) Comfort is a good thing, right? A warm house, a full belly, and a remote within arm’s reach. Life is good. But we can’t stay in our comfort zone forever. Neglect our jobs, our families, our treadmills…and see how long it takes for our comfort zones to become barren wildernesses. So it was that when God gave me this word involving Comfort Zones, I knew He was right. (He’s usually right.) Here’s how the word started. The Lord says, I had to take you out of your comfort zone to bring you into My comfort. But, let it be known that My comfort does not comfort in the way your comfort zone does. Not surprisingly, God’s comfort zone is different than our comfort zone. How is it different? Let’s see: My comfort conforms you...to My image. The conforming to My image (brought about by My process of comfort), will bring you out of ‘the old,’ in order to take you into ‘the new’ (your inheritance). I am bringing you out of the barren wilderness...but now you must allow My Spirit to remove the wilderness mindset that has become ingrained in you during the recent journey. So…this is more than “Hey Church, ditch the burgers, grab those weights, and drop a few pounds.” God’s comfort actually conforms us to His Image. Yes, it changes us into His image. And why does the Lord do that? He does it to take us out of the barren wilderness and into our inheritance. But what does God require of us? He says we must allow Holy Spirit to remove our wilderness mindset. He’s referring to how our thinking becomes conditioned in difficult times. We too easily enter a survival mode, trading excellence for expediency. We reason that an inferior relationship is better than no relationship. This is understandable, but there comes a time when God calls us higher…to receive our inheritance…to prepare us for future challenges. For the days ahead are days of living sacrifices—yielding, remaining still—upon my altar. God requires that we yield and remain still. In Genesis, Isaac remained still upon the altar. I’m not sure I could have done that. But Isaac was surrendered to his father Abraham. And for good reason. His father was everything to him, just as our heavenly Father is everything to us. God is leading us into a living sacrifice to equip us for the battles ahead. Your surrender will cause our oneness to become a bond of love, and you will see the promises you have battled FOR become the promises you will battle FROM. In this new place I have prepared for My body, you will discover the words that set the enemy to flight will be. “It is Finished.” You see, surrender is more than “Not my will, but Yours be done.” It forms a bond of love, taking us to a place of receiving our inheritance, which is our strength. What is our inheritance? It is everything we have battled for…in prayer, in faith, in declaration…all we have believed for. It is a calling into being who we have not yet become. God is serious about preparing us for the next assignment. I Am a consuming fire that must consume all that is not Me. But the days that lie ahead will prove that your surrender to Me is your strength. This surrender, resulting in a newfound strength, will be triggered by your hunger for My presence, a presence that leads you, not only from strength to strength, but from faith to faith and victory to victory. Amen! So, what are some common comfort zones that easily become barren wildernesses? 1. Acceptance By Other People. Nobody likes being rejected. People want to fit in, find their place, to contribute. Trouble starts when we let others define us. We need people who will challenge us, not agree with us. We need people who will look into our lives and tell us the truth…whether we like it or not, especially if we don’t like it. Because only the truth makes us free. And only God can define us. 2. The Traditions Of Men. In Mark 7:13 of the Passion Translation, we read: “Do you really think God will honor your traditions passed down to others, making up rules that nullify God’s Word? And you’re doing many other similar things.” What is God objecting to here? Well, it’s our traditions and rules—those that nullify God’s Word. Which…by my estimation, is a lot of them. Now, there’s nothing wrong with starting services at the same time or insisting on some semblance of decency for our gatherings. That’s not what this scripture is talking about. This scripture refers to the mayhem that ensues when something doesn’t happen precisely the way we expect it to. Does God leave the building if we have the preaching first and the music second? Or no preaching at all? Or music that is too loud…or too soft…or too rock…or too “Nearer My God to Thee”? No, God doesn’t leave the building, but a lot of people do. God’s presence doesn't come just because we build a church building and strike up the praise band. God’s presence is in. It is in churches, bars, homes, foxholes, factories, and brothels. Holy Spirit responds to hungry hearts…and He finds those everywhere. 3. Getting Identity From Your Gifting. Paul tells us in Acts 17: “It is through [God] that we live and function and have our identity…Our lineage comes from God and Him alone.” Notice that our identity comes through God, not through our ministry. Our ministry must be rooted in our fundamental identity of being a redeemed son or daughter of Almighty God. Our bedrock rests in Him and Him alone! Pray with me: Lord, You see the days ahead. We see the four walls we have created, even as we believe for greater things. Take us out of our comfort zones and into a new strength through a living surrender. Prepare us for the coming battles, even as You comfort us in a newly forged bond of love. Our decree: Those whom the Son has set free are free indeed. We speak freedom of God’s conforming truth into our bodies, souls and spirits. We release all that was built in ignorance—our traditions, our conformity, our excuses and false notions. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ Glory Warfare - Becca Greenwood “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising” (Isaiah 60:1-3 NASB). Glory. We have heard statements such as, “He is glorious!” “Lord, bring Your glory.” “What a powerful service; the glory was strong.” I have made these comments. Allow me to pose a question. What does this word mean? How does glory, spiritual warfare, and authority work together? The Hebrew word for glory is kabod. Meaning splendor, honor, wealth, the manifestation of power, glorious presence, reward, glory in the inner person, ruler, men of high rank, one who governs with Him (Strong’s #H3519). Our heavenly Father has chosen to anoint us in His throne room, in His glorious presence to be used mightily by Him to see captives, peoples, and nations set free and transformed. Jesus stated, “If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you” (Matthew 12:28; NKJV). A kingdom has a government led by a king. Jesus was the occupying King. The kingdom He waged spiritual war against also had a government, with satan as its king. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, humankind was under the evil dominion of the prince of darkness. Satan has never nor will he ever play fair. He is complete evil; our adversary; the great deceiver; the enemy of our souls; the prince of the power of the air; and the mocking, prideful, rebellious foe of our Lord. But things radically changed when God sent His Son. He made a way for salvation and redemption for all mankind and creation. He positioned those who believe in Him as ones who have access to go beyond the veil into His throne room. I believe we will all agree that darkness is increasing. Satan is sounding out a deafening roar as a ravaging lion looking for prey to devour. That being said, once we are saved we are enrolled in the most powerful army of the universe. And friends, we have not been left to fight on our own. The Word of God repeatedly discloses power encounters Jesus had with satan and his army of darkness. The Bible reports that the first encounter happened to Jesus after God audibly announced, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” We then read, “Jesus was led up…into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil” (Matt. 3:17; 4:1 NKJV). Peter Wagner pointedly states: “Jesus’s public ministry began with an eyeball-to-eyeball power encounter with satan himself!”1 In the real world, Jesus talked about, taught about, and personally confronted the devil and the demons under his command regularly. When the apostle John looked back at the ministry of Jesus, he characterized it this way: “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8 NKJV). From Jesus’ time until now, the battle has intensified. Satan’s fury is raging because he knows his time is short. There is a spiritual army of warriors God has raised up to partner with Him in the demise of the evil foe—satan and his kingdom of darkness. You and I, as sons and daughters of the heavenly King, have been given the privileged position of enlisted spiritual warriors of this heavenly appointed army, engaging satan and his army of darkness not for victory, but from victory—with victory! When we encounter our King in the glory of His throne room, when we ascend into His presence, we become awakened. Scripture tells us, “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much” (Luke 16:10 NKJV). As we faithfully enter “the much position” of His glory and encounter Him, we move from acquaintance to awakened ones—to friends, trusted ones, intimates, glory-empowered Kingdom ambassadors. Our hearts are vitally united to His and set aflame with His Kingdom purposes. The more time we spend in His presence, where we are surrounded and empowered in His glory, the better we know Him and His voice. He entrusts us with strategies to release, intercede, prophesy, decree, and implement so that the powerful light of His Kingdom is made known, causing darkness to be dispelled and evil to flee. Holy Spirit deposits in each of us a distinct sound that comes from the roar of the lion of Judah that sets captives free and awakens cities and nations, ushering them into a transformational breakthrough. I would like to share a recent prophetic revelation the Lord released while in intercession for our nation and the nations. “In the midst of all the storms, the chaos, the stirred-up tensions, and the nations raging, there is a sound that is arising. It is a distinct sound rising in a unified composition being played before My throne and echoing throughout the land and the nations. It is the sound of an awakened prayer army—My Ekklesia.” He then opened my spiritual sight to see and hear the following. “There is a sound of groans of intercession in total dependence and abandonment to our heavenly Father. A sound of a groaning in the spirit over the land, coming from the land. It is not a sound of death, but a sound of holiness, consecration, hope, life, awakening that is designed by our Father. A season of pressing through a narrow place and coming through the eye of the needle into a place of His designed Kingdom purpose and destiny. Even though the floodwaters have risen, the fires have burned, cities and nations have trembled, quaked and are raging—there is a resounding cry of intercession reverberating out in the spiritual atmosphere. An awakening that is sweeping this nation. An awakening of believers, intercessors, prayer warriors. A united strength that all felt was lost in past seasons is now being ignited, rediscovered, rebirthed, and released. “There is a new sound of surrender, repentance, dependence on Him. A sound of intercession that comes from the surrendered bowing of the knee in His glorious presence. It is a sound of worship, awakening, and of the spiritual warriors arising with Holy Spirit fire in this new era. A sound and a stirring of authority rising up—a spiritual warrior’s cry resounding out into the atmosphere. “There is a culminating voice of unity arising and being expressed in a remnant that many thought had been silenced and divided. While the chaos comes to a fullness of expression, the sound of this new, repentant, humbled, empowered, and emboldened prayer army is rising to the heavenlies. “Yes, chaos is raising its head for a time, yet the sounds arising from the awakened intercession and Ekklesia are resounding to overpower the sound of chaos. Hold fast to the Lord. Keep your abiding gaze focused intently on Him and rise up!” Pray with me: Father, we declare that You are the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). The earth is Yours and the fullness thereof (Psalm 24:1). All of heaven is filled with Your glory and resounds with praise—holy are You, Lord! Father, we thank You we have been given a rich inheritance in Your Kingdom. As Your sons and daughters, we have been given the privilege to enter Your throne room presence where our gaze is set on You and strategies are revealed. Father, we say in this new era, we will no longer separate glory and Holy Spirit presence and fire from the awakened authority and responsibility to push back darkness. We say that it is not either/or, but it is both/and. Holy Spirit, cause the fire ignited in us to expose those hidden things and secrets done in darkness. May they be brought to the light of Your presence and glory and may the enemy’s evil schemes be dismantled and destroyed. Father, empower and embolden us in Your glory presence to see captives set free, the lost saved, people healed, cities and lands freed from the grip of principalities, and ushered into Kingdom transformation. We decree: The voice and authority of the glory-anointed Ekklesia is awakened and reverberating out in the spiritual atmosphere. Your glory and manifest presence are awakening and releasing transformational glory in people, families, businesses, governments, spheres, and gates of influence, neighborhoods, cities, and regions. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ The Times We Live In - Greg Hood If there has ever been a day when we needed to walk in the Spirit, it is today. In doing so, our nation will more wisely navigate through these turbulent times. Psalm 2:1 tells us, “Why are the nations in an uproar and the people devising a vain thing?” This verse asks questions of us today, questions that demand answers. Why is America in an uproar? Why are we seeing things today on an unprecedented scale that we have never seen before? In times past, we saw protests which were largely peaceful like those Dr. Martin Luther King led. Today, we are seeing organized riots and looting. Groups are actually bringing death and anarchy into our streets, defying the laws of the land, and defying God. Never before in the history of America—have we seen such hostility. America is not perfect. We have our problems. In times past, like today, we've had corruption, desperation, and dark times when we pulled away from God. Unlike many nations, however, America’s corruption has been hidden, and when exposed, we attempted to deal with it. Today, the light of God is shining in our nation for revival and awakening. It’s exposing darkness on a whole new level. There has never been a time of greater exposure of wickedness in our nation's history that I can recall. The devil wants to gain a foothold in America for evil. However, this only exposes his plans. We are seeing darkness exposed by light and the elements of evil are running. We are seeing all kinds of evil manifesting to keep their foothold in America, trying to hang on to its authority. By God, however, they are losing their grip on this nation as the Ekklesia is being positioned into a place of a great awakening and revival. We must look past the surface of current events to see as God sees, to react as God reacts, to receive the manifestation of heaven that God desires on the earth. Why is America in an uproar? Because change is here. I declare to you that we will see peace in this nation. Chaotic times cannot remain. Our God is not fazed by what He sees on the news. He cares about His purpose for this nation. Now, we know that God is a God of judgment. We understand that nations are either going to be goat nations or sheep nations. Look at Psalm 9:17 with me. It reads, “The wicked will return to Sheol, even all the nations who forget God.” The wicked will return to Sheol as the righteous return to God. The nations of the earth are evolving. God is bringing about His righteous judgment on the earth. Evil will cease. Righteousness will prevail. Jesus wins! King Jesus has overcome the world and He is raising up an Ekklesia—a church that will not back down until we see the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our God. As we press toward “the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus,” we are causing the kingdoms of this world to become the kingdoms of our God. Consider with me the description of Issachar from 1 Chronicles 12:32: “Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times with the knowledge of what Israel should do…” The entire tribe was ready for action. Let’s unpack this verse and get some very important things back in place. This word “understood” in 1 Chronicles 12:32 means “an understanding,” of course. It also means: “discernment; truth; to discern; to act wisely; intelligent; to interpret; to be investigative; a skilled teacher; understanding and he will gain.” With this definition, knowledge is more than just “Oh, I know.” Rather, we seek understanding to be able to gain, move forward, and progress the agenda of the heart of the Father throughout the earth. The clearest meaning of “understand” is “truth.” Today, truth is more detested than a lie. Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” We are in that day right now. We have news cycles all day long, 24/7, but little of it is truth. Instead, we are seeing reporting seeking to change our culture, our times, and the assignments that God has given us as individuals and as a nation. America is in a cultural war over the revision of history. The fact is, you cannot erase your history and correct your history at the same time. History must be learned before its lessons are clear. Erasure is ignorance. We embrace our history for what it is—a historical record of the good and the bad and everything in between—so we can move forward with healing and wisdom from God and not repeat our mistakes. To not repeat history is to know history, not erase it. America, and the world in general, faces a rising tide of activist groups operating behind noble-sounding titles and agendas. And some are noble, but many are cleverly disguised to divide and dismantle the plan and the purpose of God for America. Here is a verse for you, “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:14-17) As we navigate through these times, we cannot succumb to operating in survival mode. It does no good to tread water until Jesus returns and “snatches” us out of here. We are partnered with an army of angels on a battlefield— we are kings called to the frontlines to strategically overcome and overtake the enemy so that the Kin Again, from 1 Chronicles, “understood the times” is a powerful description. It literally means “to always have understanding.” My redneck definition of this is, “being in step with God or being current with Him on current events.” God is speaking today. He is not silent today or any day. There is always an open heaven. We may not always hear Him, but God is always talking. When the Scripture refers to “the times,” it means “appointed times, circumstances, intervals, timely by year.” So, it is not just the time or a season but an appointed time. We are in an appointed time—a time in our lives when we need to step up as never before. The opposition is great. Darkness is real. The enemy is in our face. But today is the day, we say: “Back off, satan, you have crossed the line.” 1 John 4:4 encourages us in this, “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” It is time for the Ekklesia to capitalize on this opportune time God has us in. We were born for this! Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, square your shoulders and declare: “I am ready. Here I am, God. Send me. I will be a voice. I will be the light. I will be what You need me to be to turn this nation into a place of revival and awakening.” Listen, family, when you don’t know what to do - fear sets in, people stay still, chaos erupts - the enemy invades and his agenda takes root. We are seeing the majority of the church experiencing this today. Yet God wants His church in motion. We are not called to be stagnant. We are not retreating. We are moving forward. We are pressing on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling that is in Christ Jesus. (see Philippians 3:13-16) We need the mantle of Issachar manifesting in the church today. It is vital to us seeing and receiving the fire of God into our lives and the nation. This is not about individuals’ relationships with God, but about the Ekklesia—the body of Christ coming together to bring the awakening and revival that we need and have been crying out for. The fact is, God is waiting on us, the church; we are not waiting on God. We need to rise up in the functioning apostolic, prophetic anointing that God has given His Ekklesia. We need the Issachar mantle so we will know what to do. We don’t need any more good ideas. We need Kingdom ideas. We do not need to hear from men. We need to hear from God. We need to hear from God through His sons and daughters. Then we will have the answers we need to bring peace to a chaotic world. Pray with me: Father, we know that our nation is in a very dark place, and corruption is at a level we cannot remember seeing before. We ask that You give us that Issachar Mantle that we may step into a new place of understanding our time, so that we may bring to our nation the answers needed to release revival and awakening on a level not yet seen, in the name of King Jesus, amen! Our decree: We decree that we are ready. Here we are, God. Send us. We decree we will be Your voice. We will be the light. I thought it would be most appropriate to pray and speak a blessing over them together: Father God, together, we speak and release fresh oil from the Holy Spirit over Dutch and Ceci. Envelop them and love them. May their time together be beautiful in every way. May it be refreshing—spiritually, emotionally, physically, relationally, and financially—we speak abundance over their ministry! LORD, may this time together be filled with new experiences and filled with joy and romance. Thank You for their lives, their marriage, and for this ministry bringing revival, awakening, and reformation in this urgent hour. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen! The Pride Cattle move in herds. Birds travel in flocks. Fish swim in schools. Bees move in swarms. Ants move in colonies. I learned recently that in ocean life, whales travel in pods. But when it comes to lions, they travel and live in communities that are called prides. Lions are symbols of strength, fierceness, and courage, and have been celebrated throughout history for these characteristics. They are commonly known as symbols of royalty and stateliness, carrying the identity as “king of the jungle.” Lions are the only big cats to live in groups called prides. Prides are close family groups. They work together to defend territory and hunt. Our “pride” carries the royal commission to protect and defend our spiritual territory and region, and to stay on the aggressive hunt for the advancement of His glory. The pride is a culture of love, intimacy, passion, loyalty, honor, and sacrifice. They are lovers, worshippers, intercessors, watchmen, and gatekeepers known for their sacrifice and servanthood. It’s here within the pride we discover other lions and lionesses that have covenant hearts and who work to build the culture of untamed and radical faith. The soul of the pride is made alive by the presence of Jesus. Their greatest privilege of all is learning and moving with The Lion King Himself. Jesus—the Creator of the universe—identifies Himself with the Lion. He is eternally called the “Lion from The Tribe of Judah”—the heir to David’s throne who has won our victory (Revelation 5:5). As much as religion has tried to tame and domesticate Jesus, He’s not tame. He’s wild. His love is most fierce—burning with intensity, strength, force, power, and aggression. Many have only seen and discovered the attributes of The Lamb in gentleness, kindness, and meekness, yet The Lord longs for all to encounter Him as The Lion of fierce, burning, all-powerful, and all-consuming love. Our Lion is triumphant. He is victorious and reigning in great glory and majesty! If we are going to look into the eyes of The Lion, we need to be prepared for the unexpected. This Lion will break your heart but in the best way. This is necessary for true friends of the Lion. God told Job, “Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.” (Job 38:3). When we look into the eyes of The Lion, He will impart His eternal burning and holy passions, and we need to “brace ourselves” for the impact. Friends of the Lion need their hearts broken and consumed with His desires, dreams, and wonders. It will take great courage to fix our gaze in His eyes. You’ll be tempted to turn your head away because your eyes will become rivers of tears. Your heart will be broken and awakened in the depths of your own spirit. Your wells of compassion will burst because suddenly you will see them and hear them. These are the lives, the cries, and voices of a lost generation—wandering souls in darkness. You’ll smell the stench of social decay and corruption coming up out of our cities. You’ll feel the indescribable pain and yearning for our Nation’s deliverance from this gross cloud of deception and hopelessness. Your reluctance and resistance to feeling this pain and agony of those lost will begin to melt like wax in His presence. The insulation that we built to keep the borders and boundaries from the world will come tumbling down. You will hear His roar and tremble at His voice. Isaiah 66 says, “Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word...” Those who hear the roar of our triumphant Lion will tremble at the sound of His voice. Sometimes, following The Lion can be frightening. Jesus said: “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24). The Message translation reads, “Anyone who intends to come with Me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat, I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow Me, and I’ll show you how.” When you follow The Lion, you deny yourself. This is what true courage is. Moses had to take courage and deny himself. God had heard the cries coming up out of Egypt, and Moses was commissioned back into the devil’s playground—the land of slavery, bondage, and spiritual darkness—to rescue the children of Israel. Yes, following the Lion can be frightening. Moses would be just one man going into an epic battle against an entire nation. God had plans to transform this struggling man into a hero. He would take a murderer and make him a mighty deliverer. He would transform a shepherd into a courageous prophet and messenger. Moses would go from being a wanderer to a mighty unstoppable leader. How does this happen? Through encountering, trusting, and staying with the victorious Lion. I have good news for you. There is no easy road available for you. What? Yes, you read that correctly. There will be no easy and safe passage in the call of God. It will be dangerous, but that is why The Lion chose to make His home within you. Everywhere the kingdom of God advances, there is a violent engagement against the dark kingdom. Regardless of the cost, the warfare, or the sacrifice we must go. Jesus said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Luke 9:58). Like Jesus, we too must live according to the agenda of His Father. That’s what sets the course for our mission and lifestyle. I know this is strong, but I need to tell you that none of us who really claim to know and honor Jesus can refuse the path He calls us to walk upon. He promises to lead; you just have to courageously follow and trust The Lion. Jesus will lead you and me into the very heart of the dark kingdom, into the soul of evil, to bear His light and power. We can’t go on believing that the life of faith is not a life of risk. He will lead us where mankind has chosen to hide their darkness and shame. Just as He sent Moses, He will send you to bring liberty to the captives. Just as the Holy Spirit was upon Jesus, Jesus will commission you. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me, to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18,19) Our commission is to invade the darkness and to bring freedom, victory, and healing—to loose the captives of our generation. The Holy Spirit desires to breathe upon us to receive His burning obsession. The Holy Spirit desires His lions and lionesses to receive their assignment and carry the torch of His presence into the darkest corners of the earth. The world needs the lions, who come roaring boldly with revelation and experiential truth of The Lion King, speaking the truth in love and bearing the power with it. We don’t move forward from a place of mere sympathy, but from a burning authority to conquer the dark kingdom with weapons that are unstoppable. We haven’t been commissioned in our own strength, gifts, talents, and abilities. We have been commissioned in the power of The Spirit—the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead that lives and dwells with you. The Holy Spirit’s power is greater than all the armies of the earth combined. If that is so, what are we going to do with it? How will we steward this level of power and authority? What can God do through a man, a woman, a teenager, or any individual fully surrendered to the Spirit of God who will courageously carry the call? Heaven is still seeking and imploring the earth, “Who will go for us?” The Holy Spirit is asking, “Who shall I send?" Is it you? “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is wholly committed to Him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9) Let’s Pray Together: Heavenly Father, we thank You, that by Your Spirit, lambs are becoming lions. May we carry the royal commission to protect and defend our spiritual territory and region, and to stay on the aggressive hunt for the advancement of His glory. May we learn to move with The Lion King. May we not be tamed by a spirit of religion or a spirit of this age. May we look into the eyes of The Lion and allow Him to change and transform us this day. May we obey You at all costs and move in Your courage and anointing. May we move with the Spirit to carry the torch of Your Presence into darkness. May we never retreat when it is difficult and painful. May Your Holy Spirit ignite our faith to be radical and untamed. Enjoy! ----------------------------------------------------------- The Ascending Ekklesia - Rodney Lord Hello, I am Pastor Rodney, and it is an honor to be with you. I want to highlight an Old Testament prophetic decree that I believe is very fitting for today. I have titled what I am sharing The Ascending Ekklesia. Dutch and his brother Pastor Tim have done a great job explaining that the Ekklesia is the called-out church that is authorized and commissioned by Jesus to serve and govern through prayer, decrees, and Spirit-led activity. In 2019, I went to Israel with a group of pastors. We traveled from the Sea of Galilee region in the north down along the Jordan River going south to Jericho. We stopped along the way to do the Christian-tourism thing of being baptized in the Jordan River. I am not sure why thirty pastors needed another baptism, but it just seemed like the thing to do. From Jericho, the city of Jerusalem is about 3300 ft higher in elevation, and it was there where we started our upward trek to Zion. As we turned toward Jerusalem, it was evident we were now ascending. I remember the feeling. There was something inside of me stirring, some excitement, anticipation, and perhaps I felt just a little of what the early worshipers going to the City of The Great King may have felt. This was the place of priestly worship, celebration, and the throne. There are 15 Psalms written specifically for this part of the journey. In most translations, they are called “A Song of Ascents.” These were Psalms that were sung as the worshipers would make their way up the hill of God during Israel’s feast days to bring their sacrifice to the temple. With joyful anticipation, they would soon be in close proximity to the ark of the covenant, the very abiding presence of God, and would humbly bring their sacrifice of worship. This is King David’s commentary in song (a Psalm) about ascending. Psalm 122 from the Passion Translation: “I was overjoyed when they said, ‘Let’s go up to the house of the Lord.’ And now at last we stand here, inside the very gates of Jerusalem! O Jerusalem, you were built as a city of praise, where God and man mingle together.” While in Jerusalem, the other pastors and I were taken on a private tour of a recent archaeological discovery. We went underground into a tunnel near the old city. There we were, standing on the very stairway of stones that ascended from the Pool of Siloam (where Jesus healed the blind man) upwards seven hundred yards to the Western Wall of the old city. Here is the picture of that ancient pathway of ascending.(1) Researchers have wondered how the millions of Jewish pilgrims made their way up to the Temple to worship. Now they know, after uncovering this massive stairway that lay buried underground for 2,000 years. It seems that God put an “ascending” nature in our spiritual DNA. When we gather as a corporate Ekklesia to worship and minister to the Lord, there is this awareness that our worship and our intercession ascends before the throne of God. In a real spiritual sense, God calls up to be “seated in heavenly places” to see what He sees and to speak what He speaks. As sons and daughters of the Most High, from this place we are to make throne room decrees that legislate spiritually and extend His kingdom rule over the earth. Today we are seeing an awakened, arising, and ascending ekklesia come forth. I like to say it like this…they are a Jacob-like generation that will not let go until they have been transformed by the power of God and they see their nation transformed. They are relentless and fearless. They are those who know their God and will be strong and do exploits. Hold that ascension thought for a moment…it’s time for Obadiah the prophet, who wrote the shortest book of the Old Testament, to speak. He was given the assignment to speak a prophetic word over Israel’s perpetual enemy the Edomites, the descendants of Jacob's brother Esau. In his opening words, Obadiah declares a change is coming that will be the unraveling of the evil forces that have been bent on the destruction of God’s covenant people. The prophetic word begins with this decree: An envoy has been sent. The envoy is a messenger, an ambassador, a prophetic voice with the power and influence to turn the tide. The word for envoy is also the word in Hebrew for "hinge," that which is pressed for turning. An ambassador is like that; he is sent to swing things in favor of his nation. You may have heard this expression before, “We are at a hinge moment.” Queen Esther was in a hinge moment when Haman made the decree that the Jews were to be killed. King David had many of these hinge moments when battles or circumstances needed to turn in his favor. Jesus, Himself, experienced this, especially in the week of His passion. From the Mount of Olives, Jesus wept over the City of Jerusalem because they missed their opportune time of visitation. They did not turn in the direction of salvation. Over the past 245 years, America has had many “hinge moments.” General George Washinton during the Revolutionary War had lost battle after battle and was now facing a long cold winter at Valley Forge. His men were in a desperate situation… lacking clothing, food, and hope. Washington realized that without decisive action, the Continental Army was likely doomed. He planned a daring assault on the Hessian garrison at Trenton.(2) During Christmas of 1776, 2400 weary worn men marched to New Jersey. They crossed the Delaware River in stormy weather and won a decisive victory. It was a turning point; it was a hinge moment. In America today, we see evil forces that are aggressively working to destroy life, liberty, and anything that represents the Kingdom of God. They push for the killing of the unborn; they are lawless and corrupt in their leadership; and they reject the very Christian heritage and foundation of this nation. They are globalists who want America to be assimilated into their one-world vision, and religious freedom is a threat to their plans. Dutch said it a few days ago… they are now out in the open, no longer hiding their agenda. Their arrogant pride is on display. In this hinge moment we are facing today, the Ekklesia must be awakened and engaged. Thank you for your anointed prayers and bold decrees you have been making over the past months. Now to Obadiah’s powerful concluding decree in verse 21. “The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau, and the kingdom will be the Lord’s.” Obadiah 1:21 The word for “deliverers” is yasha. It means to save, be delivered, give victory and open things up to bring freedom. When the crowds cried out to Jesus at His triumphal entry they shouted out the word “Hosanna,” which is directly traceable to this word “yasha,” deliverer, savior, and the One who brings freedom. As well, the personal name of our Savior derives from this same root. Obadiah goes on to say these ascending deliverers will “govern the mountains of Esau.” Governing is the very nature of God that He instills and empowers the Ekklesia to do on His behalf. I love this final word that the prophet speaks: “...and the kingdom will be the Lord’s.” What a prophetic picture. The Ekklesia who are ready and able to release Christ’s freedom and victory are ascending Mount Zion, the place of His presence. They are being commissioned from there and sent with governing authority in the spirit realm. They become an envoy of kingdom ambassadors moving with heaven’s authority into every situation in our broken world that needs to be turned. Into every hinge moment, we are declaring, “Come, Kingdom of God, be done will of God, on earth as it is in heaven.” Pray with me: Father, thank You for the church today that is awakening, arising, and ascending to be the true Ekklesia that the very gates of hell will not prevail against. I thank You that there's a fresh hunger and passion for Your presence and power in this generation. I thank You, Lord, that we are stepping into this hinge moment in history with a greater understanding and revelation of who we are in Christ. We see a great turning on the horizon. We decree You are shifting the courts in favor of life. The unrelenting attacks on the children of this generation will be halted. Lord, anoint the Ekklesia to move into its full stature and let the fresh wind of revival sweep across America and the nations. In Jesus' name, Amen. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ Breakthrough in 2022! - Tom Hamon Welcome to Give Him 15. Today I am filling in for the incomparable Dutch Sheets whom we love so much. As we came into 2022, I heard the Lord say we had entered a very significant season in the earth! He called it a season of Breakthrough! I know, at times it feels like the opposite of what has been taking place, but I believe it is exactly what the Lord has in mind. I also know, that this can seem like a generic term to many but let me describe what I felt the Lord showed me. First of all, He said our breakthrough would not come without resistance. In fact, He said the church was going to need to have a certain quality of faith called endurance and persistence in order to press past the resistance in this hour to receive its breakthrough season! If you remember in Luke 11 there is a parable of a man who knocked on his neighbor’s door at midnight for provisions to feed friends that had unexpectedly arrived at his house. Initially, the friend said, ‘Go away, it’s late, I’m in bed and my kids are in bed, I can’t help you now.’ However, instead of walking away disappointed or discouraged, the man said to himself, ‘I’m not leaving until I get my blessing!’ Instead, he decided to knock again! In fact, he knocked and knocked and knocked, until he received the fullness of his Breakthrough! Finally, his friend opened up the door and said, ‘OK, I’ll not only give you what you asked for but whatever you want!’ Jesus said in the parable that he did not open up and give him this blessing and provision just because of his friendship but because of his persistence! I find it significant that this immediately follows the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer in Luke11, where it says, “Let Your Kingdom come, Let Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven”. I believe the Lord was giving us clues as to what it would take to do this work. It was going to require Persistence past all Resistance to receive our Breakthrough! As we entered into this 2020 season of pandemic and political and economic upheaval, the Lord said we must keep our focus on Him and on the promise! I believe 2 Chronicles 20:20 is key in this season of the 2020s! If you remember the story of 2 Chronicles is all about King Jehoshaphat facing a sudden attack from his enemies. He found himself surrounded, outnumbered, and faced with certain capture or death. It was a dark and desperate time in which it seemed the enemy had the upper hand. In fact, it says Jehoshaphat feared as he saw his situation! But that was not the end of the story. Immediately he mobilized the people of God to fast and seek God’s face and began to make an eloquent appeal to heaven. He spoke of God’s promise, purposes, character, and the call of God upon Judah. He based his appeal on ‘case law’ if you will. In verse 12 he acknowledges, we have no power against this great multitude, nevertheless, our eyes are upon You! We recognize that there are powerful, dark, antichrist forces arrayed against us in this hour but we can’t afford to lose our focus! We must keep our eyes on the Lord! But the process was not over. In order to have your appeal heard and the case overturned, you have to add new information to your case. This new information came in the form of a prophetic word given by a young prophet named Jahaziel. Jahaziel represents a bold, young emerging prophetic generation that is arising on the earth today. He boldly proclaimed to the king and the nation they would not have to fight the way that they thought they would but God would fight for them! He prophetically admonished them, ‘don’t be afraid, don’t be dismayed but go against them!’ So Jehoshaphat famously declared in 2 Chronicles 20:20, ‘Believe the Lord and you will be established, believe His prophets and you will prosper’. This powerful Hebrew word prosper doesn’t just mean financially, but also means, ‘to advance, break out, breakthrough and be successful’. In other words, believe what God has to say above your circumstances and you will BREAKTHROUGH! In 2 Chronicles 20:22 it says as they positioned themselves and began to sing and praise the Lord, the Lord set a trap for their enemies and they were defeated! Can we believe in 2022 that we can praise our way to our Breakthrough!? Then it says it took days for them to reap the spoils of their victory! Can we also believe for this during this season as well!? I believe this is indicative of where the church is today! It is key that we seek God's face, make our appeal to heaven, listen to what God is saying prophetically and choose to believe what He says above any circumstances that we are facing! God wants to change the verdict of defeat, death and destruction and instead release an amazing breakthrough for us in this season! The Lord also spoke to me about 2022 in a rather unique way these last couple of years. In 2021, the Lord led me to look up the number 2021 in the Hebrew and Greek in the Strong’s Concordance. The number 2021 in Hebrew is the rarely used word ‘hotsen’ and it means to be ‘sharp and strong as a weapon of war’ and in the Greek, it is the word ‘epicheireo’ which means ‘to take in hand and grasp it’. So the Lord was definitely talking about a warfare season in which we would need to know how to take our weapons of spiritual warfare into our hands and wield them as sharply and strongly as possibly in order to see our breakthrough in this season! As we entered 2022, I felt the Lord again led me to look up 2022 in the Strong’s Concordance as well. What I found is key for this season in the earth! In the Hebrew, it is the word ‘har’ which means ‘hill, mountain, nation, country’ and in the Greek it is the word ‘epicheo’ which means to ‘pour upon’. I felt God saying He wants to pour upon the mountains and the nations in a special way! But how? As I looked a little deeper, I found this Greek word ‘epicheo’ is only used once in the New Testament in the story of the Good Samaritan. The parable talks about a man that rose above the religious spirit seen in the priest and the Levite and decided to minister to the hurting in the marketplace. He poured out the oil and the wine that restored his soul. He chose to take the time, effort, and money to heal a broken heart and a broken life that he encountered on the side of the road of life. This man pressed passed pride and prejudice to bring a great breakthrough and healing to his neighbor in need. The Lord said to me this is the year that the great harvest is going to begin to be brought in but we must be careful not to be too focused on what we think is our mission and miss the divine appointments that may present themselves to us along the way in our journey of ministry, family, and business. The church cannot be like the overly focused, prideful priest and Levite and miss the real appointments God has for us in this hour. We must minister to the hurting right in front of us because that is how the real breakthrough and harvest are going to come. God wants to pour upon the mountains of culture and upon our nation to bring great healing during these troubling times in 2022! We have to be His heart expressed and hands extended to bring this prophesied harvest to our generation! Let’s pray! God, we choose to seek You in this hour and present our case and appeal to You concerning what is taking in our lives, our homes, our generation, and our nation! We make our appeal based on our covenant with You and on the prophetic word You have decreed! We lift up our hearts to You and say that we will listen to Your voice. Enjoy! ____________________________________________________________________________ Unlocking the More in a Double Portion Year - Jane Hamon Vision of Keys Back in January of 2022, I had a vision of Jesus presenting me with a key ring containing three keys: one gold, one silver, and one ancient-looking. He said, “Go use these to unlock the more.” As I waited, I heard Him say, “I want to unlock more IN you so I can unlock more FOR you then unlock more THROUGH you!” I knew these were keys that the Ekklesia would need to unlock greater authority for this new season. Certain things that have been locked up and inaccessible are being made accessible as the Ekklesia rightly uses their keys. Closed gates are being opened so the King of Glory can come in! The Significance of the Keeper of the Keys In ancient times, kings invested their power in a right-hand man known as the treasurer, steward, or the “keeper of the keys.” This individual served in a governmental capacity and exercised supreme control over the treasury, over who accessed the king in his throne room, and over all the affairs of the kingdom. He was not the king, yet represented the king in all things. This sheds light on one of the most significant passages of scripture regarding our Kingdom authority as the Ekklesia and the keys we use to perform the duties of our office. In Matthew 16:18-19, Jesus said, “On this rock I will build my church (ekklesia) and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” The New Living Translation says, “whatever you forbid will be forbidden, whatever you permit will be permitted.” So what are we forbidding and what are we permitting? It’s interesting that the word build, in the Greek also means “to embolden.” We are living in a time when Jesus wants to embolden and empower His Ekklesia with governmental authority to bind and loose, to forbid and permit what transpires on the earth. A Time of Reformation In Isaiah 22:22 (yes, this is significant for 2022), we find another important scripture regarding keys of authority: “The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder so he will open and no one will shut and he shall shut and no one shall open.” Isaiah 22 contains the story of reformation taking place in Judah, where King Hezekiah, a righteous reformer, turned a nation back to God. His name means Jehovah is my Strength and comes from the Hebrew word chazak which means: to be courageous, strong, obstinate, to prevail! God is releasing strength and stubborn persistence to His people, His reformers, who are committed to turning a nation back to God. He is giving us strength to hold the line and not give up, no matter what we face. The Strongman of Shebna is Coming Down In Isaiah 22:15-19, Isaiah rebukes Shebna, the steward or treasurer of King Hezekiah’s house. He was using his office to promote himself and undermined Hezekiah’s vision for reformation. God judged him to be unrighteous, full of pride, and illegitimate as an official. In Isaiah 22:17 he is called a mighty man, but the Amplified translates this as “strongman.” I believe Shebna represents a spiritual strongman over nations that is undermining God’s agenda of freedom, hope, and life, ruling through illegitimate control, fear, and tyranny. This spirit, and those affected by it are wielding power through the political and religious spirits, by controlling the narrative through media and shutting down contrary voices. God basically declared through Isaiah, “enough is enough” and Shebna was stripped of his royal robes, his keys were taken from him, and all his authority and responsibility were given to another named Eliakim. Eliakim means “the one whom God raises up or sets up.” The day has come in which God will deal with Shebna leaders, both in government, society, and the church, unseating them from their places of authority and giving positions instead to the ones He is raising up. Eliakims are Arising! We are in a tipping point moment on the earth. Eliakims are arising who will rule righteously and justly. God is looking for those whom He will promote an increase in authority, and whose voices will be unlocked for reformation. God is putting the keys of the Kingdom upon the shoulder of His Ekklesia to open and shut: to open some things up and shut some things down. God is giving us unrestricted power and unlimited access to both His throne of grace as well as to His treasury, for all we will need to advance the Kingdom. Just as Eliakim was raised up to hold the key of the house of David, which was not just keys to a palace but authority over a nation, so God is raising up His Eliakims to hold the keys to cities and nations, and to unseat principalities and powers, both natural and spiritual. Scales are coming off the eyes of believers to see their spiritual walk differently, not just about salvation or blessing but about the governmental responsibility in the Kingdom to affect and change your world. A Small Key Can Open Great Doors! Jesus, our King, holds the keys, but He is also placing them in our hands! Remember, small keys can open great doors! God is giving us a gold key of favor, which is a master key that opens new opportunities and blessings, but also new responsibilities in the Kingdom. This key of favor will unlock the voices of Eliakims to bring a shift in the earth. The symbol of the silver key in scripture is tied to purity in the prophetic. Psalms 12:6 declares, “The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times.” God has been putting the words of the prophets through the fire so they come forth without human agenda or opinion. I heard the Lord say this silver key of prophetic purity and wisdom would bring “Solutions for Resolutions.” God is giving us divine insight, prophetic strategies, and solutions that will bring resolution to some long-standing issues, overturning corruption, ungodly laws, and establishing righteousness. The ancient key was tied to Isaiah 45:3(AMPC version) where God says, “And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.” In my book, Declarations for Breakthrough, I write about this passage which has some interesting insight for the days we are living in. The “treasures of darkness” refers to a storehouse or cellar where an armory of weapons and a treasure room of wealth are kept. In this season God is unlocking wealth and opportunity but also releasing a new cache of spiritual weapons to be utilized in this time of intensified spiritual warfare. Our words will be both a key and a weapon. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for giving us the keys of the kingdom so we can rightly represent you on the earth. We come into agreement with Your Word that You are bringing down the Shebnas who are in positions of influence who do not rightly represent You or Your Kingdom cause of turning nations back to You. We pray for America and other nations that You will cause Eliakims to arise in great authority to see reformation, revival, and awakening come. We thank You for the Kingdom keys that will unlock greater authority, favor, prophetic wisdom, strategies, and insights as well as supernatural provision for the days ahead. We receive this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. A DECREE TO RECEIVE OUR KEYS..!!!! Today I receive the Keys of the Kingdom from the hand of the Lord so I can unlock the more this year. I will use these keys to function in my role as a member of the Ekklesia, to bring God’s Kingdom purposes to pass on the earth. I receive authority and governmental anointing to rule and reign in my sphere of influence. I receive the gold key of favor, the silver key of purity, wisdom, and revelation, and the ancient key to unlock wealth and spiritual weapons to prevail in times of battle. My small keys will open big doors! God will unlock more IN me, so He can unlock more FOR me and then unlock more THROUGH me. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ And Suddenly! - Scott Reece “And suddenly, there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” From Acts 2:2 God was about to change the course of the world! The earth was still resounding from the amazing season of the ministry of Jesus on the earth and now God was about to populate the entire earth with the sons and daughters of the kingdom, who would carry the message of the king and the kingdom into every stratum of life and every generation right up until this very moment. This suddenly moment was the response to an upper room call. Things would never be the same again. Life would never go back to normal and the ministry and life of Jesus would be perpetuated throughout the generations because the first century Ekklesia stepped beyond the boundaries of their comfort zone and stepped into the reality of God’s kingdom being birthed on the earth as it had never been before. I believe that even as it was in the first century and in that small gathering place, when a kingdom assignment was released, the Ekklesia stands at a pivotal moment, and once again, we are being beckoned into upper room moments so that suddenlies can be released in you and through you. You are coming into a “Suddenly Season!” This scripture has been resonating in me for the last several days, and there are many things that God is speaking to me about this, but I have to release this one today… And, Suddenly! The Greek word for suddenly is “Aphanes.” It actually means something that has been hidden and not yet manifest. In other words, your “suddenlies aren’t so suddenly.” Your suddenlies are those moments that have been ordained by God, and are being released at the exact moment that your destiny and purpose demand it. The suddenlies are determined by God, but activated by your faith and obedience. Many suddenlies have been delayed because of disobedience or even sometimes spiritual resistance from the enemy. The disciples of Jesus gathered in obedience in the Upper Room, came into agreement, and began to permeate the atmosphere with worship. Their faith activated the kingdom realm and the response was a “Suddenly,” that had been planned for eons of time! The Word of the Lord (Prophecy) “I am bringing you into your “Suddenly Season.” The plans and purposes of your life have been carefully and strategically orchestrated. The kingdom administration that will bring alignment to your natural world has been released." “The delays regarding your destiny have been deactivated. I have ordained divine encounters, supernatural moments, prophetic partnerships, breakthroughs, and provision to usher you into this season of your suddenlies. The result will be a breakthrough outpouring of My power and grace that will give birth to a new movement in your life, family, and future." “What you will see and experience in this season will be the manifestation of the dreams, passions, and visions that you have held on to in your heart. The intimate whispers that you have heard in the night from My Spirit are coming into fruition.” I hear the Lord saying, “This is not a season of delay, but delight. Get your natural house and world in order. Become alert, aware, and attentive to the slightest moves of the anointing and the clouds that hold the rains of your provision." Why is that so important? There is a suddenly mantle that is being released upon this generation. A mantle that has only been experienced up to this point by individuals, but the demand for breakthrough demands a corporate mantle. God is moving upon the entire movements of people who will be connected by the anointing, not by denominational or organizational ties. In these days, organizations will become dimmed by the light of a new anointing that unites instead of divides. The day is at hand. These are not days where the Ekklesia will bow down and surrender, or only a handful will make it. Jesus is establishing His kingdom throughout all the earth! The enemy has control over the carnal kingdom of the world, but the greater kingdom is arising in strength, power, favor, and breakthrough, and it will subdue the kingdoms of this world and its gods. The promise is to the Ekklesia, not to an organization. The church stands united, not under the banner of men, but under the victorious One who righteously reigns supreme and with all authority! Get ready for your suddenlies! Pray with me: Father today, I come into agreement with those in the Ekklesia who seek Your heart and seek Your face. I come into submission to the plans and the purpose of God for my life, and for what You desire to do in the earth today. I give birth to the will of God on the earth and I posture myself for the suddenlies that You have ordained for my life. I step into my suddenly season with full expectation of the manifestation of the reality of the kingdom in my life, my family, my calling, and my destiny in Jesus' Name! I thought it would be most appropriate to pray and speak a blessing over them together: Father God, together, we speak and release fresh oil from the Holy Spirit over Dutch and Ceci today. Envelop them and love them. May their time together be beautiful in every way. May it be refreshing—spiritually, emotionally, physically, relationally, and financially—we speak abundance over their ministry! Our Word Today: The Pathway To Triumph The Apostle Paul writes: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” —Romans 8:14 The Holy Spirit is the greatest leader on planet earth. God’s anointed and called leaders are the most powerful force on the planet. Leaders have the opportunity, if they are wise, to shape the course of history and generations for good and for God’s glory. What if your consecration and courage as a leader could shape the course of history? What if God is dreaming of using you and your partnerships with other kingdom leaders for the expansion of His dominion? He is. When you study leadership, it’s not long before you discover that some of the greatest leaders have emerged from the midst of extraordinary challenges, adversity, struggle, pain, and conflict. My friend, Bishop Joseph Garlington says, “Leaders are not born, they’re just cornered.” Maybe that’s why I’ve always loved Captain America since I was a boy. The key element of every notable leader is their uncommon commitment, passion, and burning heart to overcome. Their lion-hearts will find the path to triumph. It is no secret that the world is in a mess and upside down right now. White is Black. Black is White. Right is wrong and wrong is right. Evil is good and good is called evil. You could say that the world is in a famine of real leaders. Has there ever been a time when the contradictions were so glaring? The conflicts and epic battles of this hour are unprecedented and inescapable. The battlefields for spiritual, moral, political, educational, and governmental landscapes are ours for the taking. Leaders understand that we are called and appointed to bring God’s wisdom, anointing, and solutions into the trouble of this dark world. The kingdom of God was always meant to shape culture, never to retreat from it. Anointed and courageous leaders will hear what others do not hear. They see what others do not see. They will say what others do not want to say. They will go where others are afraid to go. A courageous leader will not give people what they want but provide them with what they truly need. How does this happen? Their best friend and partner is the Holy Spirit who keeps them from the snare and bondage of the fear of man. The world is presently in dire need of anointed and courageous leaders to step onto the local, national and global scenes. The Church desperately needs uncompromising leaders that are bold as lions. The governments of nations and global structures are reeling with uncertainty. The answer lies within God’s leaders. We need leaders that will carry heaven’s heart and authority, know the agenda of the Father, and refuse to compromise for the things of this earth. We are in a very special season at an appointed time. The winds of change are blowing across the earth. We can, and we must discover the pathway into the future now. The Spirit of God will prepare the way, and He’s calling many to follow Him into a new anointing and a new strategic place of courageous leadership. This is an hour of transcendence, a time of limitless possibilities. Perhaps, no generation of leaders, at every level of society and across the globe, has had such an opportunity to solve our greatest problems and bring to the nations the unshakeable kingdom of God. You can stand up and be counted as a leader who will shine. You can establish a pathway of faith — a highway of holiness — forming a path to a better world for all the generations that follow. As I have studied reformation, I have learned that at its core, reformation means to align, reconstitute, level and balance. To reform is to repair and restore what has been broken and corrupted. Reformation is divine order and alignment with The King’s purpose, His design, and original intent. A picture of divine alignment is found in the Greek word, katartizo. This means to adjust and put something back into its appropriate position. The word is used in Matthew 4:21 concerning the disciple’s mending nets. In 1 Corinthians 1:10, it’s referred to as repairing schisms or relational breaks. In Galatians 6:1, this word is used in restoring broken lives. The word is also used to describe the restoration of a dislocated joint or broken bone. Our friend Dutch Sheets says, “Katartizo is God’s special work as the Holy Chiropractor.” God is grooming and anointing leaders who will carry a divine katartizo shift to restore and mend cities, states, and nations back to their God-appointed purpose and destiny. Now is the time to ask for the pure wisdom that comes down from above (see James 3:17). We cannot attempt to solve the world’s issues with a secular mindset. Our leadership must come from the fresh breath of the life-giving Word and Spirit of God. True leaders lead from the heart of loving the truth and serving the truth by sacrificial love and honor. I believe the global prayer movement, which has been freshly energized by the Spirit of God in the last decade, will see a release of emerging leaders born out of burning prayer communities of intercessors, watchmen, gatekeepers, and five-fold ministries. Isaiah 58:12 says: “Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.” Isaiah 61:4 “And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.” Leaders are God’s keys to the future. They will unlock the answers and solutions for societal transformation. Anointed leaders will arise in this hour from among us. They have been uniquely trained and forged by the Spirit of God to rebuild, raise up, repair, and restore the foundations. Reformers are the restorers who reconstitute, level, and set into alignment that which has been torn apart and desolated. They have been set apart and consecrated. They have refused to be conformed to the spirit of the age, and God has anointed them with heavenly wisdom, innovation, creativity, and authority to bring an increase of His government. Down through history, God has raised up and positioned reformational leaders, as the times demanded, for the healing of breaches and broken places to bring nations back into alignment with His heart. God has always worked through these consecrated vessels, as they are His agents of change for human history. Right now, the Spirit of God seeks men and women who are willing to stand up valiantly against the forces of darkness invading our society. Deep in the reformer’s spirit is the standard that they cannot accept the status quo, business as usual, and things as they are. They refuse to let the trends of the world around them shape and define them. They are non-conformists, and they refuse to play the games of their lukewarm generation. Reformers are not afraid to be the passionate and different ones. They have chosen the holy burnings of Heaven’s agenda. Pray With Me: Father, we thank You, Your Holy Spirit is igniting hearts with Your holy burnings, fresh vision, revelation, and fire today! Spirit of God, You are raising up leaders that love Your heart, love Your Bride, love the nations, and will carry Heaven’s agenda. Raise up shepherds after Your own heart, who will restore the foundations, repair the breaches, restore our cities and nations. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen! Our Decree: We decree the famine of leadership is breaking now. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ Authority in Prayer to Change the Spiritual Atmosphere - Cheryl Sacks Every household, workplace, neighborhood, and even nation has a unique spiritual atmosphere or prevalent climate. I am sure you have felt it. You walk into a store or someone’s home and immediately feel something difficult to explain, whether it is peace and joy, or a prevailing darkness and heaviness. We may feel powerless to change negative atmospheres and start thinking “that’s just the way things are!” But that’s simply not true. Storms can be calmed instantly, as we saw when Jesus rebuked a storm at sea (Matthew 8:23-27). It’s true of spiritual climates as well. Dutch Sheets, as you know, is a bestselling author, speaker, and former pastor. He shares this story about authority in prayer: “When the Lord first started talking to me about changing the atmosphere, He started by dealing with me about the atmosphere in my home. One morning in our house, there was this tension. We have a great family relationship—all of us. We don’t fight, and my wife, Ceci, and I don’t argue. We talk things through. We make sure we honor one another in that way. But everybody was kind of on edge, irritated and frustrated. Nobody had a reason. So everybody had to guard their tongue and be careful. Finally, I just said—sort of to myself—Lord, I really don’t like the atmosphere in here right now. “Just as clearly as I have ever heard the Lord, He said, Well, why don’t you change it? The Lord said, You’re in charge of your house. You have authority here. Just begin to decree My Word and decree that the tension has to leave, and the peace of God will fill the atmosphere of your house. “I thought, I’m going to try this and see what happens. I didn’t gather the family and pray because I didn’t want them to know what I was doing. I wanted to know whether this was going to be something supernatural or people just trying harder. For only five minutes, I walked through the house, and under my breath, I quietly started praying and decreeing. Within minutes—not hours, but minutes—the atmosphere changed. People were singing and happy, and engaging one another in conversation. It was like they’d had their morning cup of coffee—everybody changed. I thought, Wow, this is pretty good. “A short time after that, I was in our church service on a Sunday morning. It didn’t feel right—like there was this oppression. “I said to the Lord, I don’t like the atmosphere in here right now. The worship team was struggling, and people were kind of lethargic. “The Lord said, Why don’t you change it? You’re in charge. Change it. “So I told my associate that we were going to agree in prayer, that we were going to change the atmosphere in the room. I did what I did in my home and within minutes, the place was alive—like fire. I thought, Wow, this is pretty good!” Dutch gives us a powerful and practical model here that we can apply. Every day we are in various spiritual battles relating to our families, workplaces, and communities. However, in the end, we must remember that the war is over the presence of God. Who will rule the atmosphere in a given place? Will it be the Holy Spirit or something else? I (Cheryl) remember when I was teaching in a large public high school in Texas riddled with drugs, gangs, depression, and sometimes violence. It was a teacher’s nightmare! In one of my classes, the students’ absenteeism was higher than their grade average. The students who were in class would put their heads on their desks and sleep almost the entire class time. I was still new to teaching and didn’t know what to do. My college professors hadn’t mentioned that teaching would be like this, much less told us what to do about it. Since I had no other training, my Bible became my manual. I prayer walked the halls and the four-block perimeter of my school. I took authority over the oppressive atmosphere there and invited Holy Spirit to come in. I anointed the doorway of my classroom and prayed over the desk of every student. Then I gathered the other English teachers who I knew were Christians to pray with me during the lunch break. I soon discovered in the back of the English department’s book room a classroom set of the book, The Cross and the Switchblade by Nicky Cruz. Nicky had been the leader of the notorious gang, the Maus Maus, in New York City. The book tells his life story and his conversion to Christ after meeting the preacher, David Wilkerson. Don’t ask me how these Christian books ended up in the book room of a public high school. All I know is that the Lord put them there for me. I started teaching the book, “as literature” of course, and I saw an immediate change in the spiritual atmosphere in my classes. Students were interested and motivated and there was an evident spiritual hunger. Just before the end of the school year, I had the thought that I should invite Nicky Cruz to come and speak to the students in our high school assembly. When I mentioned the idea to the school principal, he said “NO way! We can’t have a preacher preaching in our high school.” The school superintendent agreed it was not a good idea and it was not going to happen. At first Nicky Cruz himself said he couldn’t come. But we prayed and God miraculously opened the door. I will never forget the day Nicky Cruz stood on stage in our school auditorium and shared his life story with our 2,000 students. When Nicky explained how Jesus Christ died on the Cross for his sins and theirs, the room was filled with the palpable presence of God. As he shared how Jesus had changed his life and could change their lives, too, the student body, without any prompting, jumped to their feet and erupted in an exuberant roaring applause. This went on for several minutes. Nicky wasn’t allowed to give an “altar call,” but still students streamed to the front of the auditorium to talk about God and ask for prayer. Revival broke out that day and the entire atmosphere of my high school changed. Scripture tells us that we live in two realms—a physical realm and an invisible realm. Just because we cannot see the spiritual realm doesn’t mean it is any less real. It has the power to influence our lives —and the atmosphere in our homes, workplaces, and even our nation. A spiritual atmosphere has the power to shape our lives—to confuse or inspire, to affirm or reject, to make sad or happy, to restrict or empower. How do we know what atmosphere is ruling a given place? The Bible says that “The kingdom of God is…righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). In other words, when God’s Spirit is in charge in your home or elsewhere, you can expect to experience peace and joy. That is an awesome promise! On the other hand, the Bible tells us that we have a spiritual enemy who comes “to steal, kill and destroy” (John 10:10). When these dark forces are at work, they rob our peace, our health, our finances, and our spiritual vitality. Since Jesus dealt with satan’s authority – the right to use his power and abilities (see Colossians 2:15) – then we need to deal with him as a usurper, a rebel, a thief that has no right to steal, kill and destroy, but who will if not stopped. If we have been delivered from satan’s authority and given a higher authority in Christ’s name, then we must exercise our authority over the devil’s works and power. When we do, God’s awesome power will back up our authority..[1] Jesus put it this way: “Behold I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19; NKJV). This means that we don’t have to submit to our negative circumstances and environment, we can change the atmosphere wherever we go by walking in our God-given dominion. Pray with me: Thank You, Lord, that You did not leave us powerless, but, in fact, have given us spiritual weapons and authority to use them in Your powerful name. We thank You, Lord, that the works of darkness have no authority to oppress us or prevail against us. Instead, we and our household can walk in abundant life and victory because of Jesus’ birth, death on the cross, and resurrection from the grave! Our decree: As believers in Jesus Christ and in His name, we decree that satan will not kill, steal, or destroy our children, our health, our schools, workplaces, or nation! Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ The Times We Live In - Greg Hood If there has ever been a day when we needed to walk in the Spirit, it is today. In doing so, our nation will more wisely navigate through these turbulent times. Psalm 2:1 tells us, “Why are the nations in an uproar and the people devising a vain thing?” This verse asks questions of us today, questions that demand answers. Why is America in an uproar? Why are we seeing things today on an unprecedented scale that we have never seen before? In times past, we saw protests which were largely peaceful like those Dr. Martin Luther King led. Today, we are seeing organized riots and looting. Groups are actually bringing death and anarchy into our streets, defying the laws of the land, and defying God. Never before in the history of America—have we seen such hostility. America is not perfect. We have our problems. In times past, like today, we've had corruption, desperation, and dark times when we pulled away from God. Unlike many nations, however, America’s corruption has been hidden, and when exposed, we attempted to deal with it. Today, the light of God is shining in our nation for revival and awakening. It’s exposing darkness on a whole new level. There has never been a time of greater exposure of wickedness in our nation's history that I can recall. The devil wants to gain a foothold in America for evil. However, this only exposes his plans. We are seeing darkness exposed by light and the elements of evil are running. We are seeing all kinds of evil manifesting to keep their foothold in America, trying to hang on to its authority. By God, however, they are losing their grip on this nation as the Ekklesia is being positioned into a place of a great awakening and revival. We must look past the surface of current events to see as God sees, to react as God reacts, to receive the manifestation of heaven that God desires on the earth. Why is America in an uproar? Because change is here. I declare to you that we will see peace in this nation. Chaotic times cannot remain. Our God is not fazed by what He sees on the news. He cares about His purpose for this nation. Now, we know that God is a God of judgment. We understand that nations are either going to be goat nations or sheep nations. Look at Psalm 9:17 with me. It reads, “The wicked will return to Sheol, even all the nations who forget God.” The wicked will return to Sheol as the righteous return to God. The nations of the earth are evolving. God is bringing about His righteous judgment on the earth. Evil will cease. Righteousness will prevail. Jesus wins! King Jesus has overcome the world and He is raising up an Ekklesia—a church that will not back down until we see the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our God. As we press toward “the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus,” we are causing the kingdoms of this world to become the kingdoms of our God. Consider with me the description of Issachar from 1 Chronicles 12:32: “Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times with the knowledge of what Israel should do…” The entire tribe was ready for action. Let’s unpack this verse and get some very important things back in place. This word “understood” in 1 Chronicles 12:32 means “an understanding,” of course. It also means: “discernment; truth; to discern; to act wisely; intelligent; to interpret; to be investigative; a skilled teacher; understanding and he will gain.” With this definition, knowledge is more than just “Oh, I know.” Rather, we seek understanding to be able to gain, move forward, and progress the agenda of the heart of the Father throughout the earth. The clearest meaning of “understand” is “truth.” Today, truth is more detested than a lie. Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” We are in that day right now. We have news cycles all day long, 24/7, but little of it is truth. Instead, we are seeing reporting seeking to change our culture, our times, and the assignments that God has given us as individuals and as a nation. America is in a cultural war over the revision of history. The fact is, you cannot erase your history and correct your history at the same time. History must be learned before its lessons are clear. Erasure is ignorance. We embrace our history for what it is—a historical record of the good and the bad and everything in between—so we can move forward with healing and wisdom from God and not repeat our mistakes. To not repeat history is to know history, not erase it. America, and the world in general, faces a rising tide of activist groups operating behind noble-sounding titles and agendas. And some are noble, but many are cleverly disguised to divide and dismantle the plan and the purpose of God for America. Here is a verse for you, “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:14-17) As we navigate through these times, we cannot succumb to operating in survival mode. It does no good to tread water until Jesus returns and “snatches” us out of here. We are partnered with an army of angels on a battlefield— we are kings called to the frontlines to strategically overcome and overtake the enemy so that the Kingdom of God can be expanded around the world. Again, from 1 Chronicles, “understood the times” is a powerful description. It literally means “to always have understanding.” My redneck definition of this is, “being in step with God or being current with Him on current events.” God is speaking today. He is not silent today or any day. There is always an open heaven. We may not always hear Him, but God is always talking. When the Scripture refers to “the times,” it means “appointed times, circumstances, intervals, timely by year.” So, it is not just the time or a season but an appointed time. We are in an appointed time—a time in our lives when we need to step up as never before. The opposition is great. Darkness is real. The enemy is in our face. But today is the day, we say: “Back off, satan, you have crossed the line.” 1 John 4:4 encourages us in this, “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” It is time for the Ekklesia to capitalize on this opportune time God has us in. We were born for this! Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, square your shoulders and declare: “I am ready. Here I am, God. Send me. I will be a voice. I will be the light. I will be what You need me to be to turn this nation into a place of revival and awakening.” Listen, family, when you don’t know what to do - fear sets in, people stay still, chaos erupts - the enemy invades and his agenda takes root. We are seeing the majority of the church experiencing this today. Yet God wants His church in motion. We are not called to be stagnant. We are not retreating. We are moving forward. We are pressing on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling that is in Christ Jesus. (see Philippians 3:13-16) We need the mantle of Issachar manifesting in the church today. It is vital to us seeing and receiving the fire of God into our lives and the nation. This is not about individuals’ relationships with God, but about the Ekklesia—the body of Christ coming together to bring the awakening and revival that we need and have been crying out for. The fact is, God is waiting on us, the church; we are not waiting on God. We need to rise up in the functioning apostolic, prophetic anointing that God has given His Ekklesia. We need the Issachar mantle so we will know what to do. We don’t need any more good ideas. We need Kingdom ideas. We do not need to hear from men. We need to hear from God. We need to hear from God through His sons and daughters. Then we will have the answers we need to bring peace to a chaotic world. Pray with me: Father, we know that our nation is in a very dark place, and corruption is at a level we cannot remember seeing before. We ask that You give us that Issachar Mantle that we may step into a new place of understanding our time, so that we may bring to our nation the answers needed to release revival and awakening on a level not yet seen, in the name of King Jesus, amen! Our decree: We decree that we are ready. Here we are, God. Send us. We decree we will be Your voice. We will be the light. We will be what You need us to be to turn this nation into a place of revival and awakening. Sometimes it may be hard to see but God is moving in the world today. He’s establishing His Kingdom on earth and He needs our participation. Yet we can easily ignore, overlook or even misunderstand all that God is doing. There is a difference between God working in our midst and God working through us. We are called to partner with God—speak His words, call forth His will, declare deliverance and freedom on the earth, but we can’t do that as long as we are out of step with Him. We must be focused on Him and not the conditions around us. On the surface, everything could be falling apart, it could look like it's going to hell, succumbing to sin. But on a deeper level, God is transforming our world, reclaiming it for His people. When we fail to discern what God is doing, we risk failing to do our part, even if that part is to stand fast, pray, prophecy, decree, and believe. How do we share in what God is doing? How can we know what our part is? It starts in the core of our being, the place of surrender, honor, and reverence before God. It starts at the altar—the meeting place of God and man. We read of a similar struggle in the life of the prophet Elijah, from 1 Kings 18. This parallels where we are today in the United States and the world. We have, in large part, in times past, forsaken the ways of the Lord, and this has brought us to the place we find ourselves where deception and death reign through confusion, fear, and lawlessness. Thankfully, our God is a saving God. Amen! He always does things with a redemptive purpose in mind. God is not finished with America. Indeed, the trouble we see on one level is a sign that He is working on another level. We might see the disrupted soil and question what God is doing, all the while missing the plow and the seeds of restoration being planted into the very fertile soil of this nation. No, God has not determined which nations will be goat nations and which will be sheep nations. The world is changing, it is evolving, and growing. Nations can be turned and saved in a day. Understanding the message of the prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 18 is key to our ability to begin postured to reshape America again. In this passage, the prophet Elijah meets with Ahab, the King of Israel, and tells him that he is troubling the nation because he has forsaken the commandments and direction of God. (A prophet confronting a government leader.) The trouble Elijah refers to is evidenced by a crippling drought that had afflicted Israel and its economy for several years. Ahab has followed his wife, Jezebel, and turned to Baal worship, a form of demonic paganism. Most of Israel follows Ahab’s example as Jezebel endeavors to slaughter all the prophets of God. Elijah, at God’s command, is ready for a showdown so he challenges Ahab to gather all the people of Israel to Mount Carmel. Elijah is confident in the faithfulness of God, but note also, the confidence of the prophets of Baal. They go up to Mount Carmel fully expecting to prevail. Where does such confidence come from? It comes from past experience. God was not the only source of the supernatural in that day. As long as the people aligned themselves with the powers of darkness, the powers of darkness manifested. Just as God is doing in America today, in this passage, God is letting things get to the breaking point for a reason and that's to bring things to light. This is the hour that we are living in. We must say to the people of this nation and the world as Elijah said to Israel, “Come near to me. I have something to say; I have got something to show you.” Still, there are a lot of words in circulation today, a plethora of prophetic messages and teachings. Some tell us to comply with the flow of society and the edicts of governmental authorities. Others implore us to separate and withdraw from the “world systems.” It seems that each side can support its position with Scripture. Most of us are just caught in the middle, confused and being pulled this way and that, struggling to hear God in the unpleasant, prolonged noise around us. Like Elijah, we have to reach a place where we hear what God is saying. His voice! Not the voice of the media or conspiracy theorists or dooms-day prophets. Elijah was confident that he had a word from God. Let’s face it: The odds of 850 to 1 are not very good odds...unless that one has the One True God on his side. 1 Kings 18:30-31 says, And he [Elijah] repaired the altar of the Lord which had been torn down. Elijah took twelve stones according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob… Get this picture. Elijah has 850 frustrated and armed-to-the-teeth prophets of Baal ready for him to fail so they can cut him to bits, and the first thing he does is rearrange some rocks? Really? The conversation could have gone something like this: “Hey God, save me and your nation of Israel from these demon-fed liars, but first, let me get these rocks in the right place.” Yeah, that’s exactly what he did. Elijah was challenging the reigning force of evil in his day, counting on God to respond to his preparation of the sacrifice. So, after arranging the rocks into an altar, he pours water all over it, soaking the wood, the dirt, and even the bull. Think about this, why did he use all that water, especially in the midst of a three-year drought? Three reasons. First, it’s clear that Elijah got the water from the people because, in 1 Kings 18, we see King Ahab sending people throughout the land to search for water and finding none. So, this must have been the populace’s personal stash. Now, imagine the faith it takes for the people to make such a sacrifice of that precious commodity. This is about more than showing down; it’s about having a dog in the hunt, like we say in the South. The people are being asked to commit life-giving water to prove that God is the God of Israel. Secondly, Elijah needed to cleanse the altar, both physically and, more importantly, spiritually. The water represented a spiritual cleansing. Ephesians 5:26 says, “So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.” Finally, the water demonstrated God’s dominion over the demonic realm. God had stopped the rain in Israel, and he would restore it...if the people gave their all. They did and God did and the rest is history. God heard Elijah’s prayer. The fire fell. The sacrifice was consumed. And the people were changed. As great as this miracle was, it is too easy to focus on the spectacle of what God did and miss what it took for God to do it. If we are not careful, we can miss the true process at work as God performs miracle after miracle. Elijah’s motive for following God was crucial to the successful outcome that day, just as our motives are for everything we do. If we are seeking to do anything instead of expanding the Kingdom of God and turning people’s hearts to God, then we are missing the mark. Even if we are having great success, drawing people to us, exercising our gifts, or seeing fire fall from heaven. If our motives are wrong, we are on the pathway to error. We cannot allow that to happen. We have to keep our hearts constantly before the Father. Elijah knew that the stakes could not have been greater. The fate of God’s nation hung in the balance. As does America’s today. Evil reigned, figuratively and literally, for years. It was time to right that wrong. And yet, the first thing he did was rebuild the altar of God that had been torn apart through Baal worship. It is time to take up our part in rebuilding the broken altar of the Lord—the place where God meets man, and the fire of God falls. God does not reveal His presence just anywhere. There has to be an altar—a surrender, a sacrifice, a place satisfactory to God to pour out His Holy Spirit into the earth. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for what you are doing in America and the world even though we don’t like some of what we are seeing. We know it is necessary. We thank You that you have called us to partner with You in this great restoration process. We are asking you to give us ears to hear what YOU are saying to us, Your Ekklesia. Give us the boldness of Holy Spirit, in order that we stand and act in the face of great evil. Amen Our Decree: We decree that we will stand. We will be God’s voice to this Nation of purpose as it goes through this cleansing process, and turns its heart back to Jesus Christ! We decree, Light of God come and expose the evil. Fire of God come and consume it! Rain of God come and restore us! (Dutch) _____________________________________________________________________________ Notable Miracles/Only God Recently, Holy Spirit has given me several words, visions and dreams that will help us discern our times. We are moving into days of power being amped up to a much higher level in the Ekklesia. Prophetic dreams, visions, prophecies and scriptures we have been decreed and they are now accelerating into our times. Holy Spirit has been prophesying and the prophetic word is designed to give us great hope, raise our faith and activate delegated authority at levels we’ve never operated in before. Hear this prophetic word, “There will now be seen throughout the earth a functioning church in the midst of the world’s dysfunction. Multiplied grace is now being poured out. Bound souls shall be set free. Captive hearts will be delivered. Those blinded by sin and iniquity will be liberated from hell’s bondage as the revival of ingathering now leaps ahead. The generations in sync with My angel armies have been soaked in the fresh rains of heaven and will now leap forward into great revival. It will be a movement that moves in power, passion and in purity. I will back it with signs, wonders and miracles. Notable miracles are leaping forth into your regions, into your Ekklesias and your households. The revival in the womb of My intercessors is now leaping. It is leaping from the womb of those who have been in trevail. It is now time for the birthing of My Kingdom revival.” Notable miracles are activating, they are leaping forward. It is time for the supernatural events to happen on the earth as was seen in the scriptures. Miracles will now help change history as was seen in the book of Acts. It is time for another acts of the apostles. Supernatural signs will be seen in the heavens and supernatural deliverance will occur. The word ‘notable’ is the Greek word: ‘gnostos.’ It means: known, great, knowable, perceived, recognizable, capable of being known or a known manifestation of God’s power beyond the natural realm. (1) Notable means only God powers, only God possibilities, only God manifestations, workings, accomplishments and actions. In other words, notable miracles are miracles only God can do. It is God’s action on the earth that cannot be denied. It’s a sign that says, ‘God did this.’ Holy Spirit is saying, “You are now moving into days when notable miracles are accelerating forward through Kingdom Ekklesias. They’re flowing into towns, cities, regions, states, and nations. They will be forced to admit God did that. Only God could. Believe Me for the supernatural power of the living God to come into your churches and into your life. Believe Me for God possibilities. Believe for God action to start being released around you. Believe for God manifestations and deeds. Believe for God accomplishments to flow through your life.” In light of these recent words I have received, Holy Spirit has been prompting me to pray about healings and miracles. I have been doing that now for several weeks. Also, I asked the Lord to give me prophetic understanding concerning these words and He did. He gave me a very unusual and very unique dream and a word that connects to notable miracles for our times. In the dream, I was in a very large room with what looked to be around a hundred people. All age groups were represented from young children to the elderly. I could see each individual very clearly. I looked over to one side and I saw a blind man standing and holding a white cane. I looked around the room and I saw some people who were obviously deaf because they were using sign language. I saw other people with sores all over their bodies. The sores looked infected and I knew it was a kind of skin disease or perhaps skin cancer. I saw others who were extremely sick and in the last stages of deadly disease. I saw some who appeared to be stroke victims. They were paralyzed and dragging their leg or couldn’t use their arm. I saw a few others in wheelchairs. It was as if I was in a sick ward with people experiencing all sorts of sickness and disease. I could see the hollow look in their eyes and the fear and hopelessness was written on their faces. I remember in the dream I was feeling so bad and so sad for them. I wanted to get out of the room because I didn’t want them to see me cry and it wasn’t about me. At this point in the dream, I knew to walk across the hall to a room on the other side. When I walked into this room it also had about a hundred people inside of it. However, these people were completely different than the others. They were happy, joyous, laughing and the absolute picture of health. They were energetic, filled with life and interacting with one another. I obviously noted the contrast between the two rooms. I stood there for a moment and a man walked up to me that I’ve never met but I instantly recognized him. (It was T.L. Osborn, who is now in heaven. He is one of the famous evangelists that moved in healings and miracles. I’ve seen videos of his healing crusades where dozens of wheelchairs and crutches were left at the altar. Notable miracles happened as God used this great man.) The dream continued: He and another person walked up to me. T.L. Osborn asked me if I recognized the man with him. I replied, “No sir, I don’t think I do.” Then, he brought someone else over to me and asked me if I recognized them. Again I said, “No, Dr. Osborn, I don’t think I know them.” He continued bringing people to me and asking if I knew them and I continued to reply that I did not. Then, Dr. Osborn beamed at me with his broad smile and he asked me to look very closely at each person. So I did, but again I said that I did not recognize them. He then said to me, “You were just in the room across the hall with these very same people.” He pointed to one person and said, “This is the one who had sores all over their body and part of their face was disfigured. He gestured to another person and said, “This person was in the wheelchair over against the wall.” He continued pointing out others, “This one was the stroke victim who couldn’t move her arm. These people were the ones in the last stages of cancer who could barely stand. And remember this man? He was the blind man with the white cane. Here are the children that you saw that were so sick and in such pain they could hardly move, let alone try to play.” One after the other he began to introduce me to these people so healthy and transformed that I didn’t recognize they were the same ones I had seen across the hallway in great desperate conditions. Then Dr. Osborn asked me, “Do you know what room you are in?” To which I replied, “No, I just wanted to get out of that other room, so I came into this one.” He smiled broadly again and said, “This is the covenant room.” He pointed to a sign on the wall that read 1 Peter 2:24, last line, “By Whose stripes we were healed.” We are now in a season of supernatural deliverances and notable miracles. King Jesus is stepping to center stage, with His Ekklesia by His side, to magnify His magnificent healing covenant. He went to the whipping post, took stripes upon His back and He purchased a covenant right to our healing. Holy Spirit is clearly saying it is time to press into the miraculous healing realm. It’s time to believe Me for notable miracles. Pray with me: Father God, activate the gift of the workings of miracles and the gift of healings across this land in Jesus’ Name. Do it around the world. We decree the King is rising to release notable miracles. Loose healings and miracles throughout all 50 states and around the planet. Loose them in homes. Loose them in families. Show us how big and how great You are. Holy Spirit, pour out power from heaven to activate miracles in our midst. We agree with heaven’s plan and we thank You for angels of healing that are releasing and connecting to miracles and wonders. God, we believe whatever the need You can take care of it. Release Your healing power in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Our decree: All of the words, visions, dreams and prophecies will accomplish their assignment! The revival was led by Pastor John Kilpatrick, Steve Hill was the evangelist, and Lindell Cooley was the worship leader. They were a remarkable, God-appointed team. During those five years, over 2 million people from around the world visited the church, often waiting in long lines all night and all day to get into the meetings. Some estimates of the number of conversions are as high as 200,000. Larry Tomczak shares some interesting memories and insights regarding the revival: ***************** “Driving to Pensacola, Florida to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary, my wife and I had a mosaic of memories from where our lives intersected with millions who were radically transformed by what happened at the Brownsville church over 20 years ago. “Walking the grounds reminiscing and at times wiping away tears, I thanked God that I was able to also teach regularly alongside Dr. Michael Brown in the Bible school that exploded almost overnight, from a handful to over 1,100 students. Two of our children attended; one of them is now leading a thriving Atlanta church with his wife, whom he met at BRSM (the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry), and the other is an executive assistant in a national Christian ministry promoting Spirit-led generosity. “At the center of this Holy Spirit outpouring were two core values: the presence of God and humble repentance before a Holy God. God, Fix America “Here’s a question asked often, yet basically is off the mark: ‘How can we get God to fix America?’ “We should be asking instead, ‘What is holding back the presence of God that truly could transform America?’ We need to recalibrate our thinking so that our focus is not so much on creature comforts, or on clever ways to accumulate more bodies in our church buildings. Instead, we should focus on honoring God and hosting His manifest presence, which would bring the changes we need supernaturally. “Senior Christian leader Tony Evans says it best, ‘Multitudes want God to bless America. Few truly want one nation under God.’ “Everything must start with God, not with blessings or our bailout in this moment of cultural crisis. With all our political division and disastrous policies, the absolute priority must not be the G.O.P. but rather GOD! Nehemiah’s Magnificent Obsession “In a time of moral and civil decline, Nehemiah began rebuilding the walls of the city of God. His magnificent obsession was that once again the presence of Almighty God would be experienced among Israel. Hosting God’s manifest presence is integral to all awakenings/revivals, and the key components to this are humility, holiness, and hunger for God. “Nehemiah reminded the people of God's promise to Moses: ‘If you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though your outcasts are under the farthest part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and bring them back to the place where I have chosen to establish My Name’ (Nehemiah1:9). An Astonishing Invasion “George Otis, Jr. has traveled the globe, documenting transforming visitations of God’s presence to cities. If you watch any of his videos portraying these transformations, you will be both impressed and profoundly stirred. Google his ‘Transformation’ documentaries and you will be spiritually blown away! “Example: Not long ago a minister from Egypt declared the breathtaking things God was doing there to transform cities. Hearing testimonies of places where Muslims are being miraculously converted, prisons are being upended by the gospel, youth are being radically saved, crime is dropping, evangelism is exploding, economic conditions are improving dramatically, and leaders are uniting together to testify to the manifest presence of God in their midst, imparts hope and encouragement. “One Egyptian brother told of how his country experienced incredible upheaval, yet he saw in Isaiah 19 that God prophetically foretold of Egypt being shaken of its idols and manifesting God’s unshakable kingdom! Is it possible that the upheaval occurring in our nation will likewise turn us from our idols, from trusting in our own strength, and cause us to humbly turn back to the living God? Turning Back to God “Allow me to give you another example to stir your heart to seek after God‘s transformative presence the way we experienced it in the Brownsville Revival. This one is very personal to me. “Almost 45 years ago a mixed up, drug-addicted, pleasure-seeking young man was radically converted and came to me asking if I would disciple him. We want a righteous government in America. Continue to do whatever is necessary to motivate Americans to vote for noble and righteous leaders. Holy Spirit, remove those who oppose Your ways. Send a revival to our government and our schools. We pray this not only for America, but also for the nations. We ask you to move and intervene in Ukraine. We ask for continued outpourings of Your Spirit in Egypt. We pray for a great revival in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Jordan, and other Muslim nations. Save a billion souls over the next 20 years!
