https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-10-2025 October 10, 2025 God Stopped Time Tomorrow (October 11, 2025) will be a significant day in the U.S. as millions of Americans partake of the Lord’s Table together (Communion America). Many will do so onsite in Washington, D.C., and multitudes will join online from around the world (some have been doing so since last night). Believers will be reminded and partake of Christ’s victory at Calvary - both for themselves and for the nation/s, and satan will be reminded of his crippling defeat at the hands of Yeshua. The timing of this has been orchestrated by Holy Spirit. At the prayer banquet in D.C., for the Supreme Court, this past Monday night, Chuck Pierce spoke of God stopping time for Joshua and Israel. They needed more daylight to win a strategic battle, a battle being waged to honor their covenant with Gibeon (Joshua 10:1-14). Chuck shared that God had “stopped time” for us in America so that we, too, might win our current battle for the soul of America. He wasn’t speaking literally, of course, but figuratively, stating that God has altered the times and seasons (Daniel 2:20–21), giving us the time needed to shift and restore our nation. I shared after Chuck and changed my message to piggyback on the prophetic word God had given him. I spoke of the different words for “time” in Scripture and how knowing which “time” we are in determines our actions. I declared that we have entered “the right time“ (horaios) not only to shift the Supreme Court, but to see America revived and restored (I’ll explain this word momentarily). God does not pour out His Spirit simply when He “finally chooses or decides to.” As the eternal God who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), He does not have to “finally decide” whether or not He wants to do something. His works and ways are predicated on principles and truth, not His mood or emotions. Where revival is concerned, God must release it when hearts are hungry and ready to receive Him. He uses the desperation and needs of people to create this hunger, as well as using the prayers of His people in this process. He also prepares the church to work with Him in these outpourings of His Spirit. All of this is coordinated to converge at the appropriate timing. Here is a short summary of the different times and seasons in the New Testament. First of all, there is the Greek word chronos. This is “general time, a season of time.”(1) Our English word “chronology” originates from the Greek word. In the life of a farmer, this would be the season of plowing, sowing, tending to the growing crop, and the many other practical aspects of preparing a harvest. Then there is kairos, a word meaning the “strategic or opportune time.”(2) Again, using the analogy of a farmer, this would be when the crop has ripened and is ready to be reaped. These two words can apply to many subjects, however, not just to farming. We can see these phases in the lives of Abraham and Sarah. Abraham was told that they would have a son. Most of us would expect the child to come relatively soon after receiving the word. They certainly did. Instead, however, they entered into a 24-year chronos season in which God was preparing them…and no doubt continuing to prepare the world regarding His redemptive plans. At the appropriate time, Yahweh appeared to them again—24 long years, lots of miles, and many struggles later—stating that it was time (Genesis 17:21). The Lord told them that Sarah would have a child within one year. They had shifted into a kairos season: the “opportune time” had arrived. But there is yet another stage of timing: “the right time” to act. In Acts chapter 3, Peter prayed for a man who had been born lame and was now over 40 years old. As a young boy, his family placed him at one of the prominent temple gates, a gate named “Beautiful,” where he daily begged for alms (Acts 3:2). Because of the gate’s location, Jesus had to have passed by this man dozens–if not hundreds–of times without healing him. Most other Israelites knew of him, having seen him while in Israel for the major feasts. Although Jesus had passed by him many times without healing him, on this day, just after Pentecost, Peter was led by Holy Spirit to do so. Interestingly, the Greek word translated as “Beautiful” in this verse does not mean beauty in the literal sense of attractiveness. The word, horaios,(3) actually means “right time.” Occasionally, it is used figuratively to mean beautiful because when events and circumstances come together in the right way, at the right time, it creates something “beautiful.” The “Beautiful Gate” was “The Right Time” gate. Think about the incredible picture this gives us. Holy Spirit orchestrated the naming of this gate–“The Right Time”–years earlier. He made certain that the lame man’s family chose it as the place he would sit daily and beg (His chronos season began). And He led Jesus NOT to perform the miracle (still the chronos time). He was saving it for just “the right time.” Holy Spirit knew the early church would reach a kairos, an opportune window of time when they would need this miracle, a sign and wonder of incredible proportions, to verify throughout Jerusalem and all of Israel that Jesus was truly the Messiah, and that He rose from the dead. Peter, shown that it was time to step through this right time “gate” (horaios), reached down and jerked the man to his feet. All of Israel, knowing of this crippled man and of the astounding miracle that had taken place in the name of Jesus, was certain that Jesus was the Messiah, and had risen from the dead. America has come to a horaios time, the time for her salvation and healing. God has adjusted time, creating “the right time” for our miraculous recovery. Isaac is not yet born, but Sarah is in labor. I concluded my message Monday night with a quote from my friend Clay Nash’s father; Holy Spirit reminded me of it earlier that day. When Clay and his dad worked on difficult projects and finally reached the potential for success, his dad would sometimes say: “We’re not finished, but we can get there from here.” On Monday, I heard Holy Spirit say, not only regarding the shifting of the Supreme Court but also regarding the restoration of America, “We are not finished, but we can get there from here.” Keep praying, friend. And join us as we exalt the Lord through Communion over our nation tomorrow. Pray with me: Father, we are confident in Your wisdom and understanding. Your ways are always right. You never have to react to satan’s or man’s actions, hoping that You are making the right decisions. You have been planning and preparing for another great season of harvest around the world, and have been preparing Your people as instruments of this revival. We recognize the times and seasons, and can discern with our spiritual eyes that the harvest is ripe. As Your harvesters, we know we must be ready. Help us to do so, Holy Spirit. Sharpen our sickles. Fill our lamps. Fine-tune us to Your gifts and voice. Give us Your ideas and instructions on how to prepare. Awaken the watchmen to sound the alarm even more. Awaken Your leaders to the fact that we cannot conduct business as usual in this hour. We declare that America will participate in this harvest. We are being awakened, restored, and re-commissioned! Communion America is part of this, both a statement and a release. Our statement is that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb on the Mercy Seat of Heaven. And through our partaking of the Lord’s Table together, we are releasing the power of Your shed blood to give America a great reset and restoration. All of this we pray and declare in the name of Jesus. Amen. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-9-2025 October 9, 2025 “Prodigal America” Is Running Back to Father’s House I mentioned in earlier posts that I was in Washington, D.C., this week for some prayer assignments. I also spoke for a prayer banquet regarding the Supreme Court. All of the events were successful. I am a bit weary but persevering. When in D.C., I always find myself reminiscing over the past 35-40 years. Though the journey has been long, it seems to have flown by, as the years have a way of doing so. I admit that when it comes to patriotism, I am incorrigible. This hasn’t always been the case. I usually tried to sit in the back of my American history and civics classes so I could catnap—or at least doodle—without being caught. My patriotism did not develop until God began to grip my heart with His purposes for America. It wasn’t that I ever bought into the anti-American movement of the ‘60s or ‘70s; I always saw through that and had a general respect for my country, as we all should. But there was no passionate love of America. Actually, when Ceci and I graduated from Bible college, our plan and desire were to go to another country to do missionary work. It came as a complete shock to us when the Lord began showing us that He wanted us to stay right here and minister in America. For the first several years of our ministry, I continued to struggle somewhat with this. The charismatic and Jesus people movements had waned, and the church was on a subtle and relatively unperceived slippery slope toward apathy, complacency, compromise, personal aggrandizement and success, rather than purity and a passion for Christ’s cause. I gradually became somewhat disillusioned with the American church, and watched as some fruit of those two revivals began to wither. It was in the last half of the 1980s that I began to feel this could change, that America could experience another revival and awakening, first in the church, then in the nation as a whole. God had awakened my heart to the power of prayer, and began showing me His unfolding plan to transform the church through prayer and worship. These two forces would release transformative revelation and restoration, and I watched as this began to unfold. Then Holy Spirit began to impart His heart for America to me. It wasn’t a delusional belief that America was loved by God more so than other nations, or that we were somehow superior. He loves all people in every nation. To the contrary, the love He began placing in my heart was linked to His passionate love for ALL people everywhere. He began showing me the destiny, the purpose for which He had raised up America: to take the gospel of His Kingdom to the ends of the earth. This culminated in an encounter with God in 2000, when I wept–I believe along with Him– for 3 1/2 hours over “Prodigal America.” The word “prodigal,” by the way, doesn’t mean what most people normally think of when using the term–rebellious, running away, or backsliden. The word actually means to waste or squander. The young man in Scripture was wasting and squandering his inheritance, as well as his destiny, identity, and purpose in life. The riches were only part of his losses. Restoration meant not only having his needs met once again, but having his signet ring of sonship and authority restored. America’s rebellion against God has cost us many things. But the greatest tragedy has been squandering our partnership with Him, the unspeakable privilege of partnering with God in the recapturing of His dream, His family on earth. On that occasion in 2000, I wept with the Father over our prodigal nation for 3 1/2 hours; at one point, He said, “I MUST have America for what I am going to do throughout the world in this hour.” This was the sealing of His call on my life: helping bring our prodigal nation home to Father. As I reflect on all of this, I realize that the entire decade of the 1990s for me was God’s preparation for this calling. Slowly, methodically, and incrementally, He was giving me the understanding of prayer that I needed, as well as a revelation of His heart that I would also need. When He finished, I knew what He wanted for America, why it mattered so much, and how He would eventually accomplish this. And after that night, I knew I would never be the same. I always reminisce about these things when I go to D.C., and can feel afresh God’s heart for America. I’m not enamored with the fancy buildings, the political figures, and the seats of power. None of these means anything to me. Nothing. I’ve never once asked to meet a government official. I care about one thing and one thing only: a Third Great Awakening that will save millions of people and turn this prodigal nation back to the Father…and back to its calling and destiny. This calling will then contribute to the greatest worldwide harvest of souls in earth’s history. We are approaching this harvest; we’re actually in the initial stage. This is a hinge year of history, and the door of worldwide harvest is swinging open wide. Revival is coming to America and the world, and will not be stopped. That’s what I was focused on while in D.C., earlier this week, and it’s what I’ll be focused on when I return for Communion America later this week. [Although it begins Thursday night, I won’t be there until Saturday.] Join us as we celebrate the Cross and Resurrection of Christ, His victory over death, hell, and the grave. Join us in calling forth the return of prodigal America through the Third Great Awakening. And join us in calling forth the great worldwide harvest in which the Lord Jesus will receive the reward of His suffering. Pray with me: Father, we humans sure made a mess of Your plans for us. We defiled not only ourselves, but brought curses upon the earth You gave us. But in Your foreknowledge, You had a plan for our redemption and restoration before our fall ever occurred: Your Son, the “Lamb” that would be slain for the sins of the world. Our new creation in Christ was declared in heaven before our first creation in Adam even occurred. You determined to have a family, whatever the cost. This week, we will celebrate the victory of the Cross and Resurrection. We’ll celebrate the inevitability of everything You promised being fulfilled. We will celebrate Your greatness and Your love. And we will celebrate our calling, our commission to help grow Your family. We declare that our once prodigal nation, which You said You must have, is now running back to Father. We declare that this weekend, the power of the blood of Jesus on the mercy seat of heaven will be released once again over America and throughout the earth. We declare that we will go through the door You have opened, moving into this opportune time for revival and restoration. We will go through it and reap this great harvest, releasing Your Kingdom authority throughout the earth. In Christ’s name we will do so. Amen. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-8-2025 October 8, 2025 God is Giving Us A New Start I am back home today…preparing to go back to Washington, D.C. for Communion America! What a week this is. In today’s post, I want to share a dream with you that I shared a while back on Give Him 15. I’m doing so because it is very applicable to the communion gathering taking place in D.C. this week, and it is very encouraging. On April 7, 2020, our friend Gina Gholston had this significant dream. At the time, many who read and heard the dream assumed it was referring to the 2020 presidential election, as it clearly shows President Trump returning to the White House. Several other prophets also received words from the Lord, including dreams, visions, and prophecies, which indicated that Trump would be re-elected, and most of them assumed it would be in 2020. It turns out, the Lord was speaking of 2024. This was a strong lesson for the body of Christ regarding the interpretation of words from the Lord. The timing can sometimes be difficult to discern, and we must always be cautious not to make assumptions. It is also a strong lesson for those who criticized the prophets, some of whom went so far as to label them “false prophets.” However, many prophets obviously DID hear accurately regarding Trump’s reelection; it was the timing that was wrong. Here is Gina’s dream: ******* “On April 7, 2020, I dreamed that President Donald J. Trump was walking on the bank of a small river. At first, it seemed he was pacing back and forth, but then I realized he was actually looking for something. He said, ‘I was told something had been left here for me and I came to find it, but I’m not seeing it.’ He continued to search, but finding nothing, turned to walk away. “Just as he turned, a wooden crate, measuring about three feet wide, a foot in height, and two feet from front to back, came bobbing up in the water. I could see down in the water, and several people were lying on the bottom of the river. They had been holding the box, but had lost their grip on it, and it rushed to the surface with a splash. President Trump turned to see what caused the splash. When he saw the wooden crate, he reached out, pulled it to the bank, took a knife from his pocket, and used it to open the lid. “Inside, he found an old Bible, an Appeal to Heaven flag, and communion elements (bread and wine). He immediately took the Appeal to Heaven flag, draped it over his shoulders, and knelt with his right knee on the ground. He placed the Bible under his arm, held the cup of wine in his left hand, and the bread in his right. Then, with tears flowing, he began to pray. With the Appeal to Heaven flag still draped over his shoulders, he looked down at the Bible and communion elements with great admiration and said, ‘This is it! This is what I came to find!’ “Suddenly, a huge slingshot appeared, and President Trump stood and positioned himself in it. A hand came into view and pulled him back into the slingshot, launching him from that place. He still carried all of the items he had found in the wooden crate. Just as the President was launched from the slingshot, the ‘bottom feeders’ who had been in the river holding down the wooden crate came out of the river and tried to grab him. It was too late, however; he was already airborne, and they couldn’t stop him. “I then saw Trump land perfectly, on his feet, like someone finishing a parachute jump. He landed on the steps of the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., where he was about to give his second inaugural address. This speech was anything but normal! He wrapped the Appeal to Heaven flag around his shoulders and held the old Bible in his hands. I then realized this was one of the Bibles he used when he was sworn in at his first Inauguration Ceremony, a gift his mother had given him, who had connections to the great Hebrides Revival. “Through tears, President Trump said, ‘God is taking us back, and He’s giving us a new start. Now, we are rightly focused. We’re getting back on track.’ He led the nation in a prayer of sincere repentance. Then he took the communion elements he had found in the wooden crate and led the nation in Communion.” (End of dream.) ******* Takeaways From the Dream I believe that as America’s President, Trump finding the Bible (representing God’s Word AND revival), the Appeal to Heaven flag (which represents prayer), and communion elements (symbolizing covenant relationship with God through Christ) speak of both him AND America rediscovering these things. He actually says in his speech, “He’s taking us back, giving us a new start, we’re rightly focused.” Though satan and Trump’s enemies have tried to stop God’s purposes, they failed, and will continue to fail. President Trump led the nation in a prayer of repentance. I know revival is coming to America (and other nations) and that this is associated with national-level repentance. I also feel God has – and will continue to draw President Trump to Himself, and fill him with the Holy Spirit. In the dream, when he found the Bible, the Appeal to Heaven flag, and the communion elements, President Trump fell to his knees and, through tears, said, “This is it! This is what I came to find!” We must pray that our President has “God-encounters,” continually “finding” this close connection to the Lord. As you participate with Communion America this week, know that this is “rightly focusing” us and “getting us back on track,” as the dream states. Give thanks to our great God for all He has done, especially for His mercy. Pray with me: Father, You have done an amazing thing. What is impossible to man is possible to You. Thanks for putting the person You chose to lead America at this time back in the White House. Satan and people tried EVERYTHING to stop it: assassination, lawfare, corrupt judges, censorship, lies, and betrayal. But You had other plans. We ask You to use President Trump greatly. Fill him with Your Spirit, give him a passion to know You, and impart great wisdom to him. Cause him to walk in humility, being confident in You alone. At the same time, give him great zeal as You did Jehu when he purged Baal worship from Israel, and as Jesus demonstrated when He cleansed the Temple. And although we are asking You to use Donald Trump, we declare that we are NOT looking to him as our Savior. Unless YOU build the house, we labor in vain (Psalm 127). We ask YOU to save America, just as You have promised. Protect those in D.C. this week, the thousands gathered there to celebrate Your mercy and salvation over America. We bind every work of darkness, every plan to bring harm, and ask for Your protection. Keep everyone under Your shadow, Your wings, and Your angelic hosts. And lead in all that is said and done. Be glorified in our land! All of this we ask in Yeshua’s name. Amen. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-7-2025 October 7, 2025 “New Glory” Coming to America I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I was in Washington, D.C. for some on-site prayer; I’m still there today. Last night I spoke at a prayer banquet regarding the Supreme Court, then participated in a private prayer endeavor with a few other individuals. This private prayer time was actually linked to the assignment Ken Malone, my brother, Tim, and I carried out in February of 2016. I spoke of this 2016 prayer excursion in a post a couple of weeks back (link). It was on this trip that God began speaking to us that He was releasing His mercy over America. As a reminder here is a brief portion of the post: “In February of 2016, I received two prophetic words that I was to go to D.C. and spend time praying for America, one from Ceci and one from Chuck Pierce. I and those going with me were told to place a symbolic pin in the ground and declare that we were ‘re-staking claim to America.’ “While praying in front of the White House, we had what could only have been an angelic visitation. We were about 50 yards away from other people so that we could pray privately and discreetly. We kept our eyes open, speaking our prayers in conversational tones while looking toward one another, all in order to not attract attention. No one, based on our actions and body language, would have known we were praying. After an hour or so, someone said, ‘Are we finished here?’ We were going to pray next at the Supreme Court. “After pausing, another said, ‘No. I think there is something else.’ “‘What is it, Lord?’ we asked Him. ‘What do you want to say to us?’ “At that moment, an older ‘gentleman,’ somewhat bowed over, began walking toward us from 40 or 50 yards away. “He walked in front of us and, as he slowly passed by, never making eye contact, simply said, ‘Mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy.’ Six times. “We were blown away and tried to get him to stop and talk to us, but he kept walking and vanished into a crowd. We knew he was an angel, and God was telling us to appeal for His mercy over America… “A few weeks later, a seasoned and trusted intercessor, knowing nothing of this encounter, shared a dream she had received from the Lord that included me. ‘In the dream,’ she related, ‘you kept declaring, “I have tapped into a root of mercy.”’ “Then, two weeks before the 2016 presidential election, a pastor and friend, Kingsley Walker, had a profound vision while watching our Appeal to Heaven conference online. In his own words: ‘As leaders from all over the nation were praying at the end of the service the first night, I had a vision of Dutch standing in a rainstorm. Instead of raindrops falling, it was raining coins. It was a downpour, and the level of coins rose until he was ankle-deep in them. Reaching for one of the coins, Dutch held it up; it had an eagle on it. Across the eagle was the word MERCY. He held up another coin with the head of George Washington. Below the head, across the bottom of the coin, was the word WASHINGTON. Above the head at the top was the word MERCY: Mercy over Washington! Dutch looked at a third coin that had fallen into his hand, and it had a waving American flag on it, along with the words, NEW GLORY; also emblazoned on this coin was the word MERCY. A nickname for our flag is “Old Glory.” There is “NEW GLORY” coming to “Old Glory.” He reached down and began picking coins up by the handfuls, and on every coin was stamped, MERCY! Then, in my vision, Dutch turned around, looked at me and said, ‘Mercy is our new currency.’(1) “‘Mercy is our new currency!’ became the rally cry for thousands as we raced toward Election Day…” Another Assignment When speaking for Chuck Pierce a couple of weeks ago at his Rosh Hashanah conference, I re-told these stories from 2016, and stated that we were entering a new phase of God’s “MERCY” revival and restoration. Holy Spirit moved upon Chuck and he prophesied to me again. Knowing that I would be in D.C. this week, Chuck said, “While there you are to do another symbolic act of placing a pin in the soil of Washington, D.C., and decee over the nation. It is time for My authority to be fully reestablished in America. I will drop a plumb line from heaven, and realign the harvest fields of America. I will draw harvest lines across America and they will connect. I will establish harvest centers in this nation. As you drive the stake into D.C. and declare My words, they will pierce the head of the serpent and the authority of My Kingdom will begin rising up in a new way. So the Lord says when you obey Me in D.C., I will start defining and ordering and aligning this from heaven.” A strong team of leaders fulfilled this assignment last night. To be clear, we are fully aware that the prayers and actions we released were not based on our own power or personal authority. The authority and power flow from God’s Mercy Seat, and are the fruit of decades of prayers by millions of people. Moses’ declaration for the Lord, “Let My people go!” and the subsequent miraculous works of God in the Exodus were not based on Moses’ or the Israelites’ goodness, power or desires. Moses was simply a voice for the Lord at God’s fullness of time, declaring the release of a plan that went back centuries! He was a flesh-and-blood mortal man, but spoke the words of our immortal, all-powerful God. Last night in Washington, D.C., we declared the words and plans of Almighty God, and they will accomplish what He intends. Please agree with us, declaring that “satan’s plans and control over America have had a stake driven through them. His works have been overcome by the blood of Jesus that covers the Mercy Seat of Heaven. Harvest centers are now being raised up across our land, and the authority of God‘s Kingdom is arising in a new way. God is defining, ordering, and aligning this from heaven.” This is MERCY! Be encouraged - God is moving in our land. Today’s prayer and decree: Today, let’s release the above decree together as our prayer and declaration: Satan’s plans and control over America have had a stake driven through them. His works have been overcome by the blood of Jesus that covers the Mercy Seat of Heaven. Harvest centers are now being raised up across our land, and the authority of God’s Kingdom is arising in a new way. God is defining, ordering, and aligning this from heaven. Despotism, then, is absolute power or control, or tyranny. With these definitions in mind, consider the following statement from Thomas Jefferson, who said on September 28, 1820, in a letter to Diplomat William Jarvis: “You seem...to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions; a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the DESPOTISM of an oligarchy… “Our judges are as honest as other men, and not more so...and their power (is) the more dangerous, as they are in office for life and not responsible, as the other functionaries are, to the elective control…The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with corruptions of time and party, its members would become DESPOTS” (Stated in a letter to William Jarvis, Sept. 28, 1820).(1) Jefferson once said, “The great object of my fear is the Federal Judiciary” (Letter to Judge Spencer Roane, 1821).(2) In a letter to Abigail Adams, September 11, 1804, “prophet” Jefferson warned of giving judges too much control: “Nothing in the Constitution has given them [the federal judges] a right to decide for the Executive, more than to the Executive to decide for them. . . . The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what not, not only for themselves, in their own sphere of action, but for the Legislature and Executive also in their spheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch.”(3) In a letter to Judge Roane dated September 6, 1819, Jefferson restated his concerns regarding the judiciary, contending that the Constitution did not give them control over the other two branches. The inappropriate belief that the Supreme Court had supreme power over all would allow only five unelected people on the bench to impose and enforce their will over 300,000,000 Americans. Five people. Only five out of nine individuals were needed to remove God and His principles from American schools, government, and the public square. They could trample on constitutional rights, make the right to murder babies the law of the land, and overrule the will of the people in 30 states, who agreed with God that marriage was between one man and one woman. No entity or group has allowed more evil into America than the Supreme Court. Despotism, indeed. On June 26, 2015, five unelected Justices, in one of the most arrogant defiances of God in history, decided they had the right to redefine this 6,000-year-old covenant of marriage. Just let that sink in: five people (two of whom had participated in *** wedding ceremonies, yet refused to recuse themselves), arrogantly granted themselves the “authority” to overrule God…and the American people. The deception and arrogance of this is mind-numbing. (The names of the five are Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan.) Regarding this evil ruling, Justice Alito said: “Today’s decision usurps the constitutional right of the people to decide whether to keep or alter the traditional understanding of marriage...All Americans, whatever they’re thinking on that issue, should worry about what the majority’s claim of power portends.”(6) The late, great Justice Scalia said: “I write separately to call attention to this Court's threat to American democracy... Today’s decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court... “This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine, always accompanied (as it is today) by extravagant praise of liberty, robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776 - the freedom to govern themselves…To allow the policy question of same-sex marriage to be considered and resolved by a select, patrician, highly unrepresentative panel of nine is to violate a principle even more fundamental than no taxation without representation: no social transformation without representation.”(7) Praying for the Supreme Court On my first visit to the Supreme Court 30 years ago, I heard Holy Spirit say, as clearly as I have ever heard Him speak to me, “Now I am going to show you where the strong man over America lives.” The words “strong man” were taken from the passage of Scripture in Matthew 12:29 and Mark 3:27. This did not mean that all of the Justices were evil, or that the institution itself was evil. It meant that satan had established a stronghold there from which to implement his plans and control our nation. Part of my assignment since that day has been to see the stronghold broken. I’m back in Washington, D.C. today, praying for the Supreme Court. We are making headway in expelling this “strong man” and restoring the Court to God and its purpose. The Dobbs decision on June 24, 2022, overturning Roe vs Wade, is but one indicator. Please agree with us today as we stand in the Capital and appeal to heaven for the completion of this shift. Let’s pray now. Pray with me: Father, we know that righteousness and justice are the foundations of Your throne. We also know that these foundations are based on truth, which is found in You and Your Word. Despotism, then, is absolute power or control, or tyranny. With these definitions in mind, consider the following statement from Thomas Jefferson, who said on September 28, 1820, in a letter to Diplomat William Jarvis: “You seem...to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions; a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the DESPOTISM of an oligarchy… “Our judges are as honest as other men, and not more so...and their power (is) the more dangerous, as they are in office for life and not responsible, as the other functionaries are, to the elective control…The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with corruptions of time and party, its members would become DESPOTS” (Stated in a letter to William Jarvis, Sept. 28, 1820).(1) Jefferson once said, “The great object of my fear is the Federal Judiciary” (Letter to Judge Spencer Roane, 1821).(2) In a letter to Abigail Adams, September 11, 1804, “prophet” Jefferson warned of giving judges too much control: “Nothing in the Constitution has given them [the federal judges] a right to decide for the Executive, more than to the Executive to decide for them. . . . The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what not, not only for themselves, in their own sphere of action, but for the Legislature and Executive also in their spheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch.”(3) In a letter to Judge Roane dated September 6, 1819, Jefferson restated his concerns regarding the judiciary, contending that the Constitution did not give them control over the other two branches. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-3-2025 October 3, 2025 The “Watchman” Saved Our Lives The Bible speaks of “watching” in prayer. “Watchmen intercession” is one of the most vital aspects of prayer; I am often asked to teach on it. Our calling and responsibility as intercessors includes being alert for and praying against satan’s schemes and plans, as Holy Spirit reveals them to us. Ephesians 6:18 says, “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.” The King James version uses the word “watching” for the phrase “be on the alert.” First Peter 5:8, in warning us about our enemy, says, “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Again, other translations use the word “watchful.” The context of both verses is spiritual warfare. Each mentions our adversary and challenges us to alertness and watchfulness, both for ourselves and for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Another related verse is 2 Corinthians 2:11: “In order that no advantage be taken of us by satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.” A good amplification of this verse, based upon the Greek text, would be: “To the degree that we are ignorant of the way our adversary thinks and operates – of his plans, plots, schemes and devices – to that degree he will make gains on us, prey on us, defraud us of what is ours and have or hold the greater portion.” Not good! Here are four conclusions we can draw from the above three verses - Ephesians 6:18, 1 Peter 5:8, and 2 Corinthians 2:11: Protection from demonic or satanic attacks - including for believers - is not automatic; we have a part to play. Though God is sovereign, this does not mean He is in control of everything that happens on earth. Satan is still allowed access to our world, and God has given much freedom and responsibility to humankind. If He were going to protect or safeguard believers from satan’s attacks, regardless of what we did, these verses would be totally irrelevant for Christians. Why be alert for satan’s attacks and pray against them, if simply being a believer automatically prohibits him from impacting us? Since God says to be aware of satan’s tactics, He is obviously willing to reveal them to us. He wouldn’t ask us to do something that He wasn’t enabling us to accomplish. We must remain alert, watchful, or we won’t pick up on God’s attempts to warn us of satan’s attacks and plans. If the devil’s attacks were always going to be obvious, alertness wouldn’t be necessary. Isaiah 56:10 speaks of blind watchmen. What a picture! I’m afraid it has been a fairly good description of many of us at times in our watching roles. We’re often like the disciples of old: We have eyes, but we do not see (see Mark 8:18). It’s time we do more than casually glance; we must watch alertly! The final conclusion is that if we are not alert and watchful, if we are ignorant of satan’s schemes, he will take advantage of us. Contrary to popular belief, we can indeed be destroyed due to ignorance (see Hosea 4:6). Two Greek New Testament words are used for “watching” or “being on the alert”: gregoreuo(1) and agrupneo.(2) Both mean essentially to stay awake, in the sense that a sentry must refrain from sleep. Below are a few verses where they’re used; every believer should familiarize themselves with them: “Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.” (Colossians 4:2) And He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death; remain here and keep watch.... Keep watching and praying, that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:34, 38) “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8) “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13) “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18.) “But keep on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36) The last two verses combine the words agrupneo and kairos(3) – strategic time – challenging us to be on the alert and pray accordingly. Perhaps the most remarkable example in my life of kairos-timed intercession happened on one of my journeys to Guatemala. I was one of 40 to 45 individuals traveling to a remote location on the Passión River in the Petén Jungle. Our mission was to build a combination clinic and missions outreach station on the river. We would help construct two buildings, as well as preach in nearby villages. Prior to leaving for the jungle, we spent our first night (Friday) in Guatemala City. Months earlier, we had arranged for the Guatemalan airline to fly us into the jungle on the following day. Upon our arrival at the airport on Saturday afternoon, however, we were informed that our flight would be delayed until the next day. Feeling an urgency to proceed as scheduled, due to the limited time we had to accomplish our mission, our leaders pressed the airline for three hours, asking them to honor their original agreement. “No,” the manager said in his broken English, “we take you tomorrow.” “But you agreed months ago to take us today,” we argued. “We have no pilot available,” he countered. “Find one,” we pleaded. “What is your hurry? Enjoy the city,” he encouraged us. And so it went for three hours, in and out of offices, meeting with one airline official, then another. Our leaders wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. Finally, in exasperation, one of the airline officials threw up his hands and said, “Okay, we take you now!” And they did. That night, a horrible earthquake occurred in Guatemala City and killed 30,000 people in 34 seconds! By God’s grace, we were already 250 miles away in the jungle. Had we stayed in the city one more night – as the airlines wanted us to–some of our team would have been killed and others injured. We know this for certain because, upon our return to the city a week later, we saw the building where we had stayed the night before the earthquake — and would have been staying again had we not left on Saturday — with huge beams lying across the beds. When we were finally able to call home, we discovered that an intercessor from our home church in Ohio had received a strong burden to pray for us on the day of our scheduled flight to the jungle. For three hours, she was in intense intercession – yes, the same three hours that our leaders had negotiated with and pressed the airline officials. We didn’t realize that our lives were in jeopardy, nor did this intercessor. But God did. This “watchman” only knew that, for some reason, she had a strong urgency to pray for us. She was alert, as Ephesians 6:18 instructs, discerned the kairos time, and prayed until she felt released by the Holy Spirit. That, my friend, is watchman intercession! Pray with me: Father, thank You for our Helper, the Holy Spirit, who leads us, guides us, and gives us discernment. We know that as we stay alert spiritually, He will show us how and when to pray, making us effective watchmen, protecting our family and nation. Remind us to be alert and heighten our spiritual senses to hear and see. We pray for our leaders in Congress and for President Trump’s team as they negotiate America’s financial future. We know our nation has been very irresponsible. As the negotiations have stalled and we now have a government shutdown, give wisdom to these leaders as they navigate turbulent waters. Give them discipline and determination not to compromise and spend money inappropriately. For our fellow Americans who struggle financially because of this shutdown, please give them the help they need. And we pray against the violence in our land. We stand in agreement that this will stop, and for the exposure of those who propagate and fund it. Dry up their finances, destroy their organizations. Give our leaders wisdom as they find and stop these evildoers; give our law enforcement agencies and National Guard success as they find and remove criminals, and please protect them. All of this, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-1-2025 October 1, 2025 The Reset Has Begun Like many people, we have a nice upright steamer that we use to touch up our clothing (Ceci no longer likes to use the ironing board). I recall several years ago, I turned on the steamer and was waiting for it to heat up. I became distracted by something in another room and walked away for “a few seconds.” Whatever had distracted me then completely captured my attention, and I forgot about the steamer; the seconds turned into an hour or so. When I remembered turning on the steamer, I ran to check on it, thinking I had either burnt up its motor, or perhaps even caught something on fire. Fortunately, there was no fire, but the water tank was empty, and the steamer would no longer operate. I refilled the tank, toggled the on/off switch several times, but I couldn’t get it to work. I had burned up the motor. This was a nice steamer, somewhat expensive, and I was really frustrated about ruining it. Several thoughts went through my mind: Do I take it somewhere and try to have it repaired? Do I tinker with it and try to fix it? Or do I just throw it away and buy a new one? Then I noticed a small button on the bottom edge of the steamer, almost hidden underneath it, that I had never seen before. Could it be? I wondered. Does this steamer have an automatic shut-off and a reset button/feature? I pressed the button, and a few seconds later could hear the water heating up. In a minute or two, I had steam. Saved by the reset!! Reset features are wonderful, saving a lot of time and preserving many items from the junk pile—if we know they’re there, that is. Currently, Congress, the Supreme Court, and especially the Trump administration are pushing the reset button on many areas of American governance. The borders were on overload, but Trump pushed the reset button. Spending was, and still is to a great degree, out of control, but Trump and Congress are pushing the reset button. The trade deficit was out of balance, but Trump pushed the reset button. Some federal judges were way out of control, but the Supreme Court has and continues to push reset buttons. Crime had gotten way out of control, but Trump and the National Guard are pushing the reset button. Yesterday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told America’s military officers that he was pushing the reset button. Our military would exist for war, not politics and social experiments. He outlined a 10-point plan to reset the military. “No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses. No more climate-change worship. No more division, distractions, and gender delusions. No more debris…we are done with that (expletive),” Hegseth declared.(1) Reset! God resets things: individuals’ lives (2 Corinthians 5:17), times and seasons (Daniel 2:21), nations (Jeremiah 1:10; Job 12:23), careers (Acts 13:2-3), and more. One of the New Testament words that has the connotation of a reset is apokatistasis, which is used in Acts 3:21.(2) Translated as “restoration” in most versions of Scripture, it basically means to “restore something to its original condition.” Some lexicons use the word “reconstitute” to define this word. Constitution refers to an entity’s construction - how it is made - and/or how it functions. Obviously, reconstitute, restore, reset, and even reformation would be synonyms of one another. Acts 3:21 speaks of “seasons of restoration” - periods in which God is reconstituting situations on earth back to the way they’re supposed to be. The word “seasons” is a clear indication that historical resets of nations don’t happen instantly - there is no reset button for this. Nevertheless, the reconstitution occurs, restoring things to the way they are supposed to be. The margin of the Passion Translation states that here in Acts is the only time in the New Testament this form of the word is used, and that it is actually a medical term meaning “restoration of perfect health.” God is restoring America to health and to His original purpose for her. He is reconstituting us. Unlike my steamer, it will take some time. But like my steamer, we have not been destroyed. God’s mercy, made possible through prayer and repentance, shut down the power flow of spiritual darkness that was attempting to destroy us. And He is resetting our nation. Pray for our leaders as they continue to do their part - we have a long way to go. And also continue to pray for revival. Revivals enable the resetting of nations much more quickly, radically altering the mindset of millions of people. It is the closest thing to a cultural reset button. God has engaged it for us, and the water is heating. Feed this radical shift and reconstitution with your prayers as it unfolds and intensifies. Pray with me: Father, thank You for restoration, for reconstituting and resetting people and nations. It is Your grace and mercy, received by faith, that restores us. You have said You are restoring our nation. We can certainly see this beginning and, by Your grace, we will see it through to completion. We ask that You reset our government, our families, our churches, and our schools. Reconstitute us to Your ways and to the purpose for which You created our nation. As revival continues to build momentum, we ask that it would touch all ages, races, and segments of society. We ask for powerful waves of revival to come into our inner cities, radically transforming them. Remove gangs and violence, and break the spirit of poverty from them. Raise up strong churches in these inner cities and wise leaders to spearhead revival and reformation. Deliver, heal, save, and transform. We also ask these things for the rural communities of our nation. Let no one escape the wave of revival as it sweeps across our nation. And cause the transformation in our government to continue. Expose the corruption in the Deep State, the courts, Congress, and anywhere in the Executive branch of our government. Restore a God-honoring, God-fearing, Bible-believing government in our nation, just as it was in our nation’s beginning. All of these things we ask in Yeshua’s name. Amen. On Sunday, at least four people were killed and eight others wounded in the shooting attack, then the shooter set the church ablaze, with many people inside. At the time of this writing, it was feared they may find more casualties in the rubble of the burned building. Spirits of violence, hatred, and murder have been unleashed in our nation. This has been happening for some time, but now seems to be escalating. I don’t want to overspiritualize what is occurring – there are obviously multiple reasons and causes – but one of them is most certainly a spiritual door of violence and murder opened in America by the shedding of innocent blood through abortion. We are told very clearly in Scripture that this releases a curse on the land (Numbers 35:33; see also Proverbs 6:17). We are also instructed to “give no place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:27). “Place” comes from the Greek word topos,(1) from which we get the English word topography. This word is used not only to literally speak of lands or places, but also figuratively, as it is here, in reference to giving or providing a “place of opportunity” or a “place of power.” In this same sense, topos is the word for a scabbard, a place in which to carry a sword or gun. “Don’t give satan ground or territory upon which he has a legal right, spiritually speaking, to implement his weapons or his control.” Paul used the term “topos” in Acts 25:16, referencing his “license” (KJV) or legal right in Roman law to defend himself against the charges brought against him. The point of these references is that sin can provide a legal right to satan, giving him a “place” from which to release his stealing, killing, and destroying (John 10:10). These sins can actually defile and bring curses to the very land upon which we live, according to the above verse in Numbers, as well as others. America’s sins, especially abortion, have given satan access to our land. Another sin that has opened the door to satan’s activities is the sin of rebellion. America rebelled against God, His Word, and His Lordship. Rebellion, we are told in Scripture, is the equivalent of witchcraft (1Samuel 15:23), opening the door to demonic activity and control. It cost Saul his position as king of Israel. Idolatry could also be listed as a sin that defiles the land and brings curses upon people and nations. We could certainly list others, but it is not my purpose to offer a list of America’s sins. I am simply pointing out that as a nation, we are still reaping the results of giving place to satan, one of those results being the violence and murder we are experiencing. (I am not suggesting that those affected are experiencing the violence because they personally sinned. But rather that in a general sense, it is taking place.) And yet, there is “good news,” which is the meaning of the word “gospel.” The good news/gospel is that we can be forgiven – both individually and corporately – through the blood of Jesus, which was shed for our sins and is now on deposit, sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in heaven (Hebrews 9). The good news is also that God loves to redeem, not judge, and that His mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13). Americans have been unlocking this corporate forgiveness and cleansing, removing satan’s legal right to release death and violence, through repentance, the reversal of Roe vs Wade, and the enactment of righteous laws. The cleansing is not yet complete, however. One of the reasons is that the shedding of innocent blood is ongoing, as is rebellion and other forms of sin. But the cleansing IS occurring! Do not underestimate the power of our prayers. And don’t underestimate the power released when our national government reverses evil laws and enacts God-honoring edicts. The cleansing effects flow from the head to the body, and they remove the spiritual ground satan was given. Also, do not underestimate the power of those in government who pray and repent on behalf of our nation, calling on God for His forgiveness and mercy. Reread the post of September 26, titled “Mercy is Our New Currency.” We are appealing to heaven for this mercy, “purchased” for us through the blood of Jesus. Pray that believers in our government become increasingly bold in doing so, even publicly. In the natural realm, I am expecting President Trump and his team to take stronger actions against the violence in our nation. God has given him and his team backbones of steel; they won’t back down, but will do everything they can to quell the violence and rebellion. This will generate more demonic manifestations and rebellious “tantrums” for a season, perhaps even more violence. When you see this, don’t fear. Stay in faith. I am suggesting that churches all across our nation pray prayers of repentance in their corporate gatherings, asking God’s forgiveness for the shedding of innocent blood and for our rebellion against Him. Then ask that all of the territory given to satan through this defiling of our land – his “place” – be removed from him, and the spirit of violence and murder be broken off our land. Pray for protection over your members and your gatherings. I also suggest that we all do this for our homes and families. Declare that through the blood of Jesus, Psalm 91 will be fulfilled over you and yours. Satan is trying to stop what God has begun in our nation. He wants us to cower in fear and retreat from our stand for righteousness and truth. The current violence is one of his weapons for this. We will resist his attempts; we will not fear, we will not back up, we will not back down, and we will overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the name of Jesus. “There’s an amazing door of opportunity standing wide open for [us] to minister here, even though there are many who oppose and stand against [us]… Remember to stay alert and hold firmly to all that you believe. Be mighty and full of courage.” ‭‭(1 Corinthians‬ ‭16‬:‭9,13‬ ‭TPT‬‬) Pray with me: Father, we begin today by asking You to forgive our nation for taking the lives of over 60 million innocent children through abortion. We could never atone for this gross evil. America deserves nothing but judgment and curses. But we thank You that through the blood of Jesus, we can receive – not what we deserve – but Your mercy. We thank You that Jesus took the punishment we deserve, and through His blood sprinkled on the Mercy Seat of heaven, provided mercy for us. Through this, we ask You to cleanse America, washing away all of our sins and their resulting curses. We ask that the “place” that has been given to the spirit of murder in America be removed. Break the hold of violence and bring peace to our nation. We ask for a continuation and increase of the revival that has begun; it will further cleanse and remove the deception that allows our great national sins. And we ask You to raise up more and more righteous leaders in our government who understand principles of repentance and spiritual cleansing, and who desire to follow Your ways. Give them the faith and boldness to repent on behalf of our nation and to make biblical, life-giving decrees. All of these things we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. The tired arguments and ludicrous accusations that we want to force Christianity and biblical ideals on everyone ratcheted up again. You know you are losing the battle when all you have left are lies and slander. Sadly, even many pastors have bought into the lie that churches should avoid all cultural issues. Many of them refused to comment on Kirk’s assassination, not even willing to offer a prayer for his family. “Don’t mention societal issues, government, education, etc., at church. Don’t mix religion and politics,” they say. However, isn’t it interesting that by mixing faith, politics, education (campuses were his mission field), and the societal issues of our day, Charlie Kirk was used by God more than any Christian leader of our time. It wouldn’t surprise me if, when all is said and done, his influence will have led more people to Christ than any pastor in America. Maybe more than any denomination. So much for the “leave politics and culture alone; just win people to Christ” theology. The fact is that most people attending church on a regular basis want their pastors to teach them what the Bible says about societal and cultural issues. A few years ago, George Barna conducted a poll entitled, “What Would People Like to Hear About in Church Sermons?” The poll revealed the broad interest Christians have in topics regarding governance and related social issues. When asked about interest in these topics, a clear majority of Christians expressed a desire to learn more: Abortion - 91%

 According to Mark Burrell in his book Rediscovering the American Covenant, people were asking for biblical guidance on these issues, which are certainly some of the most relevant and important of our time. The survey also asked pastors if they had plans to discuss these topics from the pulpit. The results? Only 14% answered “Yes.”(1) The truth is that the supposed “wall of separation” between church and the government isn’t in the Constitution; it was a phrase used by Thomas Jefferson in a letter. The First Amendment of the Constitution states in part that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” In his letter, Jefferson assured denominational leaders that our government would never be controlled by one religious group (as had been the case in England), nor would the government have the right to control the church (as also occurred in Britain). NEVER was it implied by our founders that God or religion should have no influence in government, education, or public life. Nor is it true that government funds or public facilities were to be prevented from use by the church. These are all lies designed to remove the influence of God from our nation. If someone had told our Founding Fathers to leave God out of the process of forming and running our government, they would’ve thought that person was insane. It would shock some Americans to know that Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the letter with the now-famous phrase “wall of separation,” attended a church service in the Capitol building two days later.(2) (Share that with a liberal friend, but only if they have a strong heart.) Actually, numerous presidents and members of Congress attended church services in the Capitol – for decades! – including John Quincy Adams, James Madison, Abraham Lincoln, and others. Adams explained why he attended: “I consider it as one of my public duties – as a representative of the people – to give my attendance every Sunday morning when Divine service is performed in the Hall.”(3) The Rostrum of the House Speaker was used as the pulpit, and Congress purchased the hymnals! I realize you probably weren’t taught this in our public school system, many of which indoctrinate, propagandize, and revise history. But, as Adams said, “Facts are stubborn things.” And it gets worse for the “separation” crowd. The Capitol was actually used for church services before ever being used by Congress! Approved December 4, 1800, by both the House and Senate,(4) services began before the entire Capitol was completed, and Congress itself could move in. Jefferson (the wall of separation guy), Vice President at the time and therefore leader of the Senate, approved it on behalf of the Senate. He attended the services for years, throughout his time as Vice President and President,(5) had a designated seat,(6) and was so committed to it that he even made the journey in inclement weather.(7) Services first began to be held in the north wing of the Capitol, moved to Statuary Hall as they grew in number, and eventually landed in the House Chamber. It was, in fact, the first official use of the Chamber on December 13, 1857, with as many as 2000 people in attendance!(8) Services were interdenominational, speakers were local pastors or the House and Senate Chaplains,(9) and included women(10) and blacks.(11) Some churches were actually allowed to use it as their meeting place until they procured other buildings.(12) And when needed, the Supreme Court Chamber, then in the Capitol building, was also used!(12,14) How ironic is that! Don’t allow the lies of politicians, educators, or anyone else to deceive you. Our Founders were God-honoring and God-fearing men and women and were guided by Judeo-Christian ethics. And they welcomed God into governmental affairs. Pray with me: Father, just as Nehemiah told Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem, those trying to stop him from rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, that they had “no historical right” or “claim” to Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2:20; NIV and Expanded Bible), we echo those words today. Those who want to transform America into a non-Christian nation have no covenantal, historical right to America. You, who own all the earth, raised up America for YOUR purposes. We stand in Your authority and decree that this purpose will not be stolen. And though we have previously lost ground in this spiritual war, You have told us America shall be saved. Your mercies endure forever, and we ask now for this never-ending mercy to be extended. In the all-powerful name of Jesus, we bind the forces of darkness trying to disconnect America from her Christian roots. We declare that the systems and groups these forces are using will be completely unsuccessful, and many from within them will come to Christ. We declare with our Founders that America has “no King but Jesus,” and will serve no other gods. We declare that our roots are still alive and will once again bring forth the fruits Holy Spirit intends America to produce. We will experience a turnaround comparable to the great restorations of Israel. We declare that we will be a light and blessing to all the nations of the earth. Father, we thank You in advance for the great revival that is beginning. Millions of people will come to know You in this nation, and hundreds of millions around the world. We thank You for the incredible revival coming to the campuses of America and the world. Thank You for saving a generation from the strongholds of humanism, rebellion, drugs, immorality, gender confusion, and more. May they taste and see just how good You are. May they fall in love with Your Word and become acquainted with Your ways. We ask You to continue to transform the church. Mature us into the glorious church You spoke of in scripture. Build the Ekklesia You promised to build that cannot be overcome by the plans and government of hell. We ask and decree all of this in the all-powerful name of Jesus. Amen. https://www.givehim15.com/post/september-23-2025 September 23, 2025 “I Forgive Him!” Ceci and I watched the entire five hours of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday, as I’m sure most of you also did. Over 100,000 people gathered in Phoenix to celebrate his life -- we had staff members and friends in attendance – and there were 100,000,000 overall streams of the service. With multiple people watching on many of those transmissions, it is safe to say several hundred million people saw the service. All of them heard the gospel multiple times. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, 62,000 (and counting) requests have come to Turning Point from students wanting to open chapters on campuses across the nation, up from 3000 or so that existed when Charlie was killed. His assassination will go down in history as one of the greatest miscalculations of all time. God is using Charlie’s death to bring millions into His Kingdom; it has become a catalytic event for the Third Great Awakening. Turning Point? I’d say so. In the memorial service, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said of Charlie, “His words were his weapons.” She went on to say, “It is time for us to step into the arena.” Without question, this has begun. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, speaking of the result of Charlie’s martyrdom, said, “You thought you could kill him; you made him immortal.” And addressing Charlie, he said, “We will prove worthy of your sacrifice.” Charlie’s bold faith and cruel death have emboldened many to share their faith in Christ. Vice President Vance stated that he has always been reticent to talk about his faith publicly. However, he continued, “I have talked more about Jesus Christ in the past two weeks than I have my entire time in public life.” The Vice President also declared, “The evil murderer who took Charlie from us expected us to have a funeral today, and instead, my friends, we have had a revival in celebration of Charlie Kirk and his Lord Jesus Christ.” Indeed, the White House Facebook page yesterday titled their post, “A Revival.” In his speech, President Trump said, “This is like an old-time revival, isn't it? An old-time revival?” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said, “Charlie started a political movement but unleashed a spiritual revival.” And the brilliant Dr Ben Carson stated, “Revival is coming, and it is not going to be stopped.” All speakers spoke of their faith, and several shared the gospel in various forms, but I found it incredible that three Cabinet members declared the gospel clearly, intentionally, and brilliantly in their addresses: Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard; Secretary of War Pete Hegseth; and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Of course, they were not doing so in their official capacity, but the fact that the gospel of Jesus Christ was declared to the world by people in the highest levels of the American government is staggering. I dare say it must have been what a celebration service conducted by America’s Founders would have sounded like. Though all presentations were outstanding, Secretary of State Rubio gave one of the most powerful declarations of the gospel I have EVER heard.(1) Without question, however, the most moving address came from Charlie’s widow, Erika Kirk. Her strength and poise were remarkable, her words stirring and inspiring. For me, the most powerful moment of the day was when she spoke of Charlie’s killer, stating that this was the type of young man Charlie lived to influence and help. She spoke of love and forgiveness, stating that we must always follow the example of Christ: “On the Cross, our Savior said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.’” Then, through tears of anguish, she continued, “That man, that young man — I forgive him!” More powerful words could not have been spoken. The crowd responded with a standing ovation. Erika continued, “I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and is what Charlie would do. The answer to hate is not hate. The answer, we know from the gospel, is love and always love — love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.” The powers of darkness reeled when she stated those words. Once again, hate lost, love won. As difficult as they were to say and truly mean, I have been praying that Erika Kirk would find the grace to speak those three words. We all needed to hear them. They released pain and poison from a movement, and cauterized our wounded hearts. We can now heal. The gospel was not only preached on Sunday, at that moment it was also modeled. Forgiveness to the undeserving – that is the gospel. Contrary to what many believe, forgiveness does not mean there will be no justice, nor does it mean we will not oppose evil and darkness. It means we refuse to harbor hatred or allow bitterness into our hearts; instead, we leave the justice to God and those He has raised up to administer it. We are told to love our enemies and pray for them. Though this is humanly impossible, if we allow God’s love to flow through us, we can do so. We can follow the example of Jesus on the Cross and Stephen, the first martyr of the church. This kind of love defeats evil and hatred, and releases God’s supernatural power. The revival we pray for was infused with greater power when this occurred on Sunday. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the life of Charlie Kirk. He has joined the great cloud of witnesses and heard his “well done.” He honored the sacrifice and gospel of our Lord, and we will follow his example. Our hearts have been hurt, but they are strong. The torch Charlie carried was grabbed by millions before it even hit the ground. Heal those hurting; we know many were horribly traumatized by the violence of Charlie Kirk’s death. Cause the forgiveness that flowed on Sunday to now cause healing to flow. We do forgive this young man, and we forgive those who rejoiced over Charlie’s death. Deliver them from such hatred. Deliver the many in our nation who have become hardened by hatred and bitterness. Save and heal them. And just as we have been decreeing revival, our government officials are now doing so. This agreement of the Ekklesia and civil government will now release greater power. We ask You to breathe on these words of agreement, infusing them with multiplied power. Use them to release the four winds of Ezekiel on earth’s dry bones. Use them to bring Pentecost’s rushing, mighty wind. May it be said of us, as it was of the early church: They turned their world upside down! We pray these things in Yeshua’s name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that love never fails. Today’s comments, therefore, are generic; tomorrow I will comment more specifically on the service.] Today’s title is: Backfire! Backfire: “to bring a result opposite to that which was planned or expected.”(1) This past Friday, our U.S. Congress voted to make October 14 a National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk. On Sunday, over 100,000 people gathered in Phoenix to celebrate his life, and millions more around the world joined on live TV and social media; all heard the gospel. Sixty-two thousand (and counting) requests have come to Turning Point to open chapters on campuses across the nation, up from 2000 or so that existed when he was shot. Charlie’s assassination will go down in history as one of the greatest miscalculations of all time. It is safe to say that the bullet of those wanting to silence him was transformed by God into one of history’s greatest megaphones. His death will be used by God to bring millions into His Kingdom; it has become a catalytic event for the Third Great Awakening. Turning Point? I’d say so. Today, I want to encourage you by looking deeper into what is causing the many dramatic changes we are seeing throughout the world. This Charlie Kirk phenomenon, the landslide victory of Donald Trump to regain the presidency, the loss of popularity for leftist politicians, entertainers, educators, etc. - what is causing all of this? Yes, lion-hearted leaders like Donald Trump and brilliant voices like Charlie Kirk are instrumental, and I would never fail to acknowledge the importance of hard work, good strategies, financial backing, and strong organizations. But great leaders and organizations alone would not have been enough to create these changes. What are some of the causes that have prepared the soil of America for the radical changes we are seeing? The Power of Truth and Common Sense Most Americans know the difference between boys and girls, men and women. They know it is evil to mutilate the bodies of small children after convincing them that their bodies are a mistake. They are simply not as vocal as the crowd that promotes these twisted ideals. Most Americans have enough logic to know how insane it is to have no control over our borders, allowing anyone to come in anytime they want. How absurd. Again, most Americans just want to get along, so they don’t raise a ruckus until millions of illegals pour in. They know how ludicrous socialism and Marxism truly are. They know thieves and violent criminals should be in jail, not walking the streets. It does not require a college education to know all of these things. To the contrary, and sadly, the opposite is now true. Nowadays, colleges are often used to blind people to truth and common sense. The Power of Freedom Most Americans just want to be left alone. Their independent spirit and thinking, however, can sometimes lead to a lack of involvement in society and culture. They often ignore the crazies and radical voices… until their freedoms are encroached upon at a high enough level. When controlled and pushed around long enough, they rise up and take action. And this sleeping, sometimes complacent “giant” has now been awakened. The insane policies and controls associated with Covid were the last straw. Leftist leaders, globalists, and power-hungry politicians pushed too far, and Americans - led by a freedom-loving, persecuted, uncontrollable patriot and business tycoon - said, “Enough!” The Power of Prayer Using the phrase “the power of prayer” is basically saying “the power of God.” Prayer is the method God uses to release His power and purposes on earth; the two go hand-in-hand. Our “appeals to heaven” have activated the power of heaven, and will continue to do so. God has been able to energize all of the above causes of change because the Ekklesia has stepped forward. We have listened to Holy Spirit, asked for and declared His will and words, and moved in the authority of Jesus, King over all the earth. As I wait upon the Lord for His leading in writing these Give Him 15 posts - sometimes for hours - at times I feel the deep gratitude of God towards you who are praying. I clearly hear Him telling me in those times to encourage and thank you. The Lord appreciates what you do and wants you to know you’re making a difference. There would be no Donald Trump presidency and its halting of Marxism; no Charlie Kirk or other great leaders God has and is using to awaken and transform; no Third Great Awakening in America or revival elsewhere around the world - had not people like you grabbed the baton of prayer and begun appealing to heaven. No wonder lying politicians and liberal Christian leaders hate the Appeal To Heaven flag and its message. What it stands for has been and will continue to be their demise. Do not let up, not for a moment. Keep asking, and we will keep on receiving. Keep seeking, and we will keep on finding. Keep knocking, and the door will keep on being opened (Matthew 7:7-8). That is the literal translation of the verbs in these verses, by the way. The Greek tenses bring the continuous meaning into the verbs: “Keep on asking, and you will keep on receiving,” etc. His is the kingdom, power, and glory, ours is the asking. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the many answers to prayer we are seeing. We sometimes are tempted to lose heart when we don’t see things changing as quickly as we would like. Thank You for reminding us that we reap when we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We have certainly moved into a phase of reaping. Thank You for warriors like Charlie Kirk, who have made a difference in our lives and nation. We are grateful to him and to his family for the price they paid. However, I also thank You today for those whose prayers enable him and others like him to do great things. The power source of Your kingdom is in prayer closets around the world, not on the platforms. Charlie knew this, and would never have argued otherwise. Everyone can see that we have entered a new season. God is and will continue to define the season, not satan and his kingdom. Our part is to listen to Holy Spirit, and follow Him. The title of Gina’s post is: Fearless Advancement For several months, the Lord has kept me focused on and speaking about the importance of understanding His timing. I feel the reason for this is that we have crossed a threshold into an appointed time on God’s timeline. Timing is a key component of our journey with the Lord, very important to God and, therefore, to us. We see this all through Scripture. He operates according to the timeline and plan He has established. He knows the plans He has woven over us (Jeremiah 29:11), and He will fulfill all of His purposes in their right time. Earlier this year, I had a dream in which God said we were entering a set time. He said, “I am giving you a moment in which to advance with My purposes…and that time is now.” We have now entered that “moment.” It’s an appointed, strategic, opportune time (kairos)(1) for things to change. Changes will happen now that couldn’t have happened before. Prophetic promises and unfulfilled destinies that have been hovering over us, over our regions, and over this nation, have now intersected the moment of their intended fulfillment. God once spoke to me, saying, “It’s time, and I am culminating the years, events, words, dreams, visions, obedience, and the steps you have taken. I am pulling things together, and soon you will see My purpose in it all!” While we may not have understood everything we’ve done, seen, and heard in the previous seasons, all of those things were pieces to a much bigger picture. Now the pieces are coming together in the right moment to reveal the big picture. This will not only validate our past obedience, but it will also prophecy into the future now unfolding. In this appointed time, things will begin to unfold very quickly. We are already seeing it happen! And it’s SO much bigger and more far-reaching than we could ever have imagined! It is imperative that we stay alert and stand in readiness to hear and run with what Holy Spirit imparts to us concerning our times. We must rely on His guidance as He instructs us in the way to go. The book of Acts is a model for today’s Ekklesia. The faith and devotion of those in the early Church gave the Lord access to work through them, appropriating His will and purposes in amazing ways. How were common, ordinary people able to have such an impact on the world around them? Acts 4:33 says, “And great grace was upon them all.” One meaning of grace is “divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life”(2). The church in the book of Acts took its place in the plan of God for its season. God led them with great grace, and they followed. They gave heed to and obeyed His outpouring of “divine influence,” and the evidence of that influence was demonstrated through them with undeniable power. In this critical moment, the Lord is once again extending to the Ekklesia “great grace.” Holy Spirit is releasing strategy and revelation to instruct us in this time. Being influenced by what He releases, we find confident faith to obey His leading, and He will work through us to demonstrate His power and reality. A few days ago, I had an instructive dream, relevant to this time. The dream revealed that a door is now open for us, and the Lord is calling His Body to engage with Him as He works through us to fulfill His purposes. In the dream, I stood before a large, intricately carved, wooden door. Suddenly, the door began to pulsate with what seemed to be an electrical current. I could hear a humming sound as the power pulsated. Then the door opened. Suddenly, an angel appeared beside me and said, “You can enter the door.” But I was afraid because of the “current” of power. So I asked, “Is it safe to go through that?” The angel said, “You can only enter the door with the right garment.” He then showed me a beautiful, robe-like garment, and held it in position for me to put my arms into the sleeves. When the garment was on me, all fear left, and I joyfully leaped through the door. I entered a room filled with brilliant light, pulsating with the same “power current” as the door. In the center of the room, I saw two wooden folding chairs facing each other, like those that had been used in the old tent revivals from years-gone-by. Although I didn’t clearly see His face, I knew Jesus was sitting in the chair on the right! His presence was the reason for the brilliant light and the pulsating power! He motioned for me to sit in the other chair, facing Him. I sat down in the chair, weeping, overcome by the power of His presence! He said to me, “In the days to come, whatever I ask you to do, you must remember this and hear Me asking you four questions. How you answer will determine whether or not you obey My leading.” Then He asked me the four questions, with each question followed by an assurance from Him. “Are you afraid? Don’t be! “Are you devoted to Me? I am devoted to you. “Are you resolved? I am! “Will you go for Me? I will go with you!” He then placed His right hand on my head and said, “It’s time.” I said, “Lord, we’ve been hearing this phrase, but what is it time for?” Without any pause, He answered, “Fearless advancement, possession of promises, and the fulfillment of purposes I have set for this time. You shall lift your head, I will capture your ear, and you will hear My voice as I order your steps.” ******* What a dream! What a moment! In this appointed time, may the Ekklesia rise, fully devoted and unflinchingly resolved to follow Jesus, without fear and hesitation, as He advances us into the fulfillment of His purposes. Pray with me: Father, as we step into this turning point moment, may we realize the urgency and necessity of taking our place on the timeline of Your plan. Your timing has changed everything. Help us not to misinterpret what we are feeling and seeing, and what we will see in the days to come. Give us wisdom and understanding. Grant us “great grace” that impacts our thoughts and actions, enabling us to align with You and follow You forward. May we advance without fear or hesitation, fully devoted to You, as You work through us to fulfill Your intended purposes for this time. We lift our heads! Lord, “capture our ears” so that we hear Your voice as You order our steps. We are resolved. We go, knowing that You are going with us. You make us brave! Amen! My brother, Tim, shared a strong message this past Sunday regarding Charlie. In it, Tim shared a word the Lord had given him three days before Charlie was assassinated. I’m titling today’s post: A Tipping Point Moment There are many opportunities before the church of Jesus Christ that can be accomplished if we will pray and take action. While none of us fully understands all Holy Spirit is doing, we can be confident that His plans ultimately reveal Jesus. In the midst of verbal chaos, conflicting voices, and waves of sorrow, divine possibilities are emerging. Though evil has struck, God has a way of turning even the darkest moments into opportunities for His glory. Charlie Kirk’s life was marked by bold proclamation of the Gospel. He preached salvation without compromise on our college campuses, leading thousands of young men and women to Christ, carrying the message of Christ into the very heart of our nation’s future. Charlie was not only an evangelist; he was a cultural reformer. He understood that the church is not merely a religious institution, but Christ’s Ekklesia — a governing body called to bring biblical clarity into every sphere of life. He backed his convictions by founding Turning Point USA, raising up a company of Christians unashamed to stand for God’s Word, biblical marriage, family, and truth in education, science, business, and media. He taught and inspired thousands to use their voices with courage. It was precisely this courage that hell sought to silence. Evil struck him down in front of the world in a desperate attempt to quench a movement of God. But this plan has failed miserably, becoming one of hell’s greatest defeats. Hope is rising from the crushing. Beauty will emerge from the ashes. Out of tragedy will come multiplied voices, as thousands of new leaders step forward in Charlie’s place. Christ’s true Ekklesia will rise to declare the Gospel of the Kingdom with fresh fire. As Romans 8:28 reminds us, all things, even the darkest tragedies, can work together for good to those who love God. Darkness, in God’s hands, becomes an incubator of new creation. His voice speaks light into darkness, order into confusion, and life into death. John 1:5 (NIV) tells us, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it.” In the midst of grief and turmoil, heaven is releasing gifts. These gifts are flowing like rivers of light, cascading from the Father of lights onto His sons and daughters. Talents, abilities, communication skills, leadership callings, and spiritual authority are being poured out and overseen by Holy Spirit. This is not a trickle but a flood, cascading upon those in despair, flooding them with light, hope, and divine empowerment. Out of this moment of darkness will emerge gifted sons and daughters, filled and radiant, rising as rivers of light in the midst of the storm. One of the most gifted generations in the history of the Kingdom is about to emerge. For years, the Spirit of God has been saying we are reaching a tipping point. A hinge of history. A turning point. How many times has this been declared across pulpits and prayer rooms? And here we are, standing in that very moment. The outcomes of tipping points are decided by who defines the moment. If the church remains silent, unbelievers in our society will be allowed to define it. We must not allow hell to set the narrative. We cannot allow confusion or compromise in our culture to determine what this moment means. This is the Ekklesia’s hour to rise and define the turning point. Three days before Charlie’s assassination, Holy Spirit gave me a prophetic word which I declared in our church service. Here is a portion of that word. “The new flow of Holy Spirit now pouring from Heaven will cause the expansion of My Kingdom in new ways. Indeed, says the Lord, the minds of men will be blown; it will be seen that I cannot be confined by reason, man’s wisdom, human laws, religion, and certainly not the language of fools. No power of earth or the universe can confine Me. I will break out against all confinement–the shattering of confinement has begun. My Ekklesia will see the breaking off of confinement and will function in new anointings. I am performing My Word released through the prophet Joel, pouring out My spirit on all flesh, the young and the old together. I have given visions to young men by the multiplied thousands. They will run with Me, sounding forth awakening and revival. I have put prophetic words in the heart of My handmaidens, as I did with Mary. They are highly favored and will prophesy. Prophetic declarations are in their hearts, and they will speak My words into the nations. I’m giving them new dreams and activating old dreams. I’m anointing their dreams to break forth from confinement. Zachariahs and Elizabeths will give birth to their dreams, and will sing with exuberance. The Lord says to His righteous remnant, Do not fear cancel culture. The authority of My heirs cannot be canceled. Do not faint, do not turn back, and do not become passive. Advance with Me and My Kingdom. Advance under Holy Spirit’s anointings. Advance with My angel armies. Move forward in My name, and you cancel hell’s culture; cancel the assignment of demons and false doctrines; cancel the work of iniquitous thrones. My Church cannot be canceled. They will prevail. Holy Spirit will fill the voice of My Eklessia with power. Decrees of faith, “word missiles,” will strike demonic strongholds, destroying schemes of darkness. Words declared in My name will explode like bombs against evil, toppling thrones of hell’s kingdom. And the gospel of My Kingdom will grow and expand, activating revival. The world will see My glorious church arise, and hell will not prevail.” I believe we are on the brink of seeing the most gifted generation of young champions for Christ ever raised up. Their passion, unshakable faith, fiery boldness, and uncompromising love for Jesus Christ will shock the world. Holy Spirit is adding to the church young, passionate warriors who will pick up the mantles of those who have gone before them. Not only will they carry them, they will multiply them. Revival will now begin to surge. Pray with me: Lord, we know that You “so loved the world” that You gave Jesus. May Your love pour out upon our nation, tangibly and undeniably real. Out of that love, let the gospel go forth in power. May the message of salvation pierce the hearts of millions. We pray for prodigals, that they will hear Your voice even in the darkest places, and say, “I must go back to my Father’s house.” We cry out for revival, awakening, and reformation, and we pray that this be accelerated. Father of Lights, shine Your light upon Your sons and daughters everywhere. Let this light flood and destroy the darkness. We bind the influence of evil ideologies and declare that they will be overcome by truth. Move across every high school and college campus. Give visions and prophetic words to thousands of young men and women, calling them into Your Kingdom purposes. Let light shine in the darkness and Jesus be glorified. In Yeshua’s name. Amen. https://www.givehim15.com/post/september-26-2025 September 26, 2025 Mercy is Our New Currency Back in 2021, my friend, Clay Nash, had a significant dream about America, which included a plumb bob, also known as a plummet. In the dream, I was holding a 5-sided, hollow, silver plumb-bob over a map of America. Each of the five sides included a section of clear glass-like windows. It was filled with red liquid. As I held it over the U.S. map, a fine flow of this red liquid began to flow from the point of the plumb bomb. I stated, “This is blood from the Mercy Seat.” There was more to the dream, but we’ll share that another time. Plumb-bobs are used to ensure that constructions are “plumb” or perfectly vertical. They are also used for surveying, to mark an exact point for a boundary marker. Amos 7:7-9 speaks of God holding a plumbline over Israel. As God’s plumb-bob was held over America, He no doubt saw us as bent over, crooked, leaning, and deserving of judgment. To use another analogy, “weighed in the balances and found wanting” (Daniel 5:27). However, there was mercy. In Scripture, silver symbolizes redemption. And the plumb-bob was filled with the blood of Jesus from the Mercy Seat of heaven. Without doubt, this was and is telling us that God’s mercy, brought to us through Christ’s blood sacrifice, was redeeming and saving America. This is occurring. God began speaking to me about His mercy for America in 2016. My friend, Pastor Landon Schott of Mercy Culture Church, recently reminded me of this. In February of 2016, I received two prophetic words that I was to go to D.C. and spend time praying for America. One was from Ceci, the other from Chuck Pierce. Chuck’s word added that while there, I was to re-stake claim to America. My friend, Ken Malone, and brother, Tim Sheets, accompanied me. It was a prayer journey that took on profound significance. While praying in front of the White House, we had what could only have been an angelic visitation. We were about 50 yards away from other people so that we could pray privately and discreetly. We kept our eyes open, speaking our prayers in conversational tones while looking toward one another, all in order not to attract attention. No one, based on our actions and body language, would have known we were praying. After an hour or so, someone said, “Are we finished here?” We were going to pray next at the Supreme Court. After pausing, another said, “No. I think there is something else.” “What is it, Lord?” We asked Him. “What do you want to say to us?” At that moment, an older “gentleman,” somewhat bowed over, began walking toward us from 40 or 50 yards away. He walked in front of us and, as he slowly passed by, never making eye contact, simply said, “Mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy.” Six times. We were blown away and tried to get him to stop and talk to us, but he kept walking and vanished into a crowd. We knew he was an angel, and God was leading us to appeal for His mercy over America. A few weeks later, a seasoned and trusted intercessor shared a dream she had received from the Lord that included me. “In the dream,” she related, “we kept declaring, ‘I have tapped into a root of mercy.’” Then, two weeks before the 2016 presidential election, a pastor and friend, Kingsley Walker, had a vision while watching our Appeal to Heaven conference online. In his own words: “As leaders from all over the nation were praying at the end of the service the first night, I had a vision of Dutch standing in a rainstorm. Instead of raindrops falling, it was raining coins. It was a downpour, and the level of coins rose until he was ankle-deep in them. Reaching for one of the coins, Dutch held it up; it had an eagle on it. Across the eagle was the word MERCY. He held up another coin with the head of George Washington. Below the head, across the bottom of the coin, was the word WASHINGTON. Above the head at the top was the word MERCY: Mercy over Washington! Dutch looked at a third coin that had fallen into his hand, and it had a waving American flag on it which said, NEW GLORY; also emblazoned on this coin was the word MERCY. A nickname for our flag is ‘Old Glory.’ There is ‘NEW GLORY’ coming to ‘Old Glory.’ He reached down and began picking coins up by the handfuls, and on every coin was stamped, MERCY! Then, in my vision, Dutch turned around, looked at me and said, “Mercy is our new currency.”(1) “Mercy is our new currency!” became the rally cry for thousands as we raced toward Election Day, which culminated in the powerful halt of the disastrous Obama agenda and death spiral we were on as a nation. Mercy is undeserved kindness. In Scripture, it is linked to covenant -- God’s covenantal faithfulness and kindness. We are told that His mercies are new each morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and they triumph over judgment (James 2:13). God’s “mercy revival” is coming to America, bringing “New glory” to “Old Glory.” Our salvation can only be procured by His mercies. Our own works would “buy” us nothing but judgment. Our faithfulness to Him certainly hasn’t been adequate to “purchase” America’s new birth. When asked why I believe America will receive a Third Great Awakening, I have but one answer: “The blood of Jesus deposited on the Mercy Seat of heaven is our currency. HE purchased our salvation. This is the only exchange God will honor, but He loves to do so!” Revival is being released because of God’s mercy through Jesus, and because we have humbly asked. Mercy will save America and also bring a billion soul revival around the world. Mercy has reopened the wells at Fulton Street, Red River Meeting House, Cane Ridge, Azusa Street, Topeka, Wales, Hebrides, Scotland, and more. Mercy is reopening Tennent’s Well, the Haystack Revival Well, the Voice of Healing Well, the Charismatic/Jesus People Well, the Brownsville Well, and every other well of revival that has ever occurred. Spend the mercy. Trade it in for souls, miracles, transformations. Buy the opportunity. The phrase “redeeming the time” (Ephesians 5:16) could be more literally translated, “buy the opportune time.” We must use our “mercy currency” and buy this opportune time for revival. America shall be saved! Revival is coming to the planet! Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your great mercy. You keep covenant AND MERCY to a thousand generations. (Deuteronomy 7:9) Jesus, thank You for Your blood on deposit at the Mercy Seat. It is still speaking, even shouting that Your blood is the “surety,” the guarantee of a new and better covenant. (Hebrews 7:22; 12:24) We decree Your words, “America shall be saved!” We decree that “Nations will come to the brightness of your glory!” (Isaiah 60:1-3). We release Your words that carry revival fire into all the earth! We agree with Your angel, “Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Mercy!” And Father, it will require Your supernatural intervention to end the hatred and stop the violence in America. The words of Romans 3:13-18 (TPT) are appropriate for many politicians in our land: “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Help us end this. Release righteous judgments against those who spew hatred. And send an awakening to undo their evil works. In Yeshua’s name we pray. The dream involved Clay, his dad (who is now in heaven), my brother, Tim, and me. The dream is about re-digging a well. Here is the dream: “On the morning of May 9, 2022, I dreamed that I was working with my dad drilling a well. My dad was running the drilling rig, and I was supplying the drilling sand. I looked up and there stood Tim and Dutch Sheets. “They saw the surprised look on my face and approached me. My dad continued to raise and drop the sand bucket. Dad was a master at this and had found the rhythm that produced more depth. The manual clutch, which he was working with his right hand, was being precisely triggered over and over. “As the Sheets brothers and I walked up to Dad, he switched the clutch lever to his left hand and stuck out his right hand to shake Tim’s and Dutch’s hands. He kept his left hand raising and lowering the sand bucket. “After a bit, Dad stopped drilling. The equipment was now silent, and I asked Dutch and Tim what they were doing here. Dutch said, ‘Before we get into that, I want you to know, Mr. Nash, that was one smooth operation of the drilling rig.’ “My Dad answered and said, ‘Please, call me Bob. Yes, that was the unforced rhythm of grace.’ “Tim asked, ‘How did you learn to do this?’ “Dad said, ‘My Dad and older brothers showed me.’ “I then spoke and said, ‘There must be something up for you two to travel all the way to Arkansas. What’s going on?’ “Tim spoke and said, ‘Dutch and I have an old well to re-dig and needed y’all’s insight on doing it.’ “Dad asked, ‘What well is this and when was it dug?’ “Dutch answered and said, ‘It was dug in the mid 1940s but became polluted and cluttered with stuff in the late 50s.’ “Tim spoke and said, ‘Our dad was involved with it.’ “Dad smiled and said, ‘So we got some legacy going here.’ Tim and Dutch both agreed strongly. Dad continued, ‘The first thing I need to tell you is that re-digging that old well is not the way to get this done.’ “Dutch asked, ‘What do you mean?’ “Dad said, ‘In the time you spend re-digging the old well, you can dig a new one. All that stopped the well from flowing is still there in the casing.’ “Tim stated, ‘But we need to tap into what the old well supplied.’ “Dad said, ‘Let Clay explain.’ “I began to tell Tim and Dutch, ‘It’s not about the well, the hole in the ground. The well is only the conduit to the source. You’re not looking for the well, but the source that the well supplied.’ “Dutch said, ‘That’s it, that’s it.’ “I instructed, ‘Digging in close proximity but still drilling into the original source will give you the same pure flow you are desiring.’ “Tim and Dutch agreed. Dad then told them, ‘The flow of this new well will be used in the saving of America.’ “We all agreed. Tim said to my Dad, ‘I want to be respectful, but at your age, you’re still able to do this like a young man. How old are you?’ “My Dad answered and said, ‘I am beyond years. I would have had a birthday today, May 7th, but I no longer celebrate it. Come over here with me.’ When we arrived at his pickup, he opened the ice chest, pulled out four grape drinks, and said, ‘Clay, grab those crackers; we must take communion together and agree for the saving of America.’ “The Sheets brothers both said, ‘We can get this done now!’ Tim then stated, ‘This new well will produce the unforced rhythm of grace that America needs.’ End of Dream. My Thoughts Here are a few thoughts regarding the dream: The well Tim and I wanted to re-dig was the healing movement of the 40s, 50s, and part of the 60s. Our dad was part of this movement. It is no doubt time for this flow to be released again, which is the purpose of the Healing Summits we have been conducting at Tim’s church in Ohio. The next one will occur on October 17. Try to join us either in person or online. The dream states that signs and wonders will be part of the revival that saves and restores America. One of the keys to digging the well, provided by Clay’s dad, was operating in “the unforced rhythm of grace.” This would mean that it cannot be done by striving and human effort, but by the grace and anointing of the Lord Himself. The next point of the dream really stood out to me. We were instructed not to attempt to clean all the debris out of the old well shaft in order to reuse it. This would be very difficult and take much longer. We were advised to simply move over a few feet and dig a brand new shaft down to the water. It is the same water that is needed and wanted, not the same well shaft. When we speak of “re-digging spiritual wells,” we are referring to reconnecting with the same Source, not trying to implement the same methods, structures, systems, etc. In the dream, Clay told us, “Digging in close proximity but still drilling into the original source will give you the same pure flow you are desiring.” It is the water we want, not the well! Then Clay‘s dad served us communion. This pictures two things to me. First, the entire dream speaks of generational synergy. Clay’s dad, who gave us insight into digging the well, is now in heaven. And Tim’s and my dad, who was part of the healing movement of the past, is also in heaven. We, today, are not generating something brand new in the Kingdom of God. We are part of an ongoing Kingdom endeavor, and are simply fulfilling our portion of the task. The efforts of previous generations cannot be completed without our work; we cannot complete our assignment without building on the work they did. The generations are interdependent. And all that is accomplished will be done through the power of Christ’s redemptive work. The new covenant established through His blood, is the key to all victory and success in the Kingdom of God. Therefore, before praying for the salvation of America, we honored the Lord’s sacrifice by taking communion, basing our actions on this. I believe this is why there has been such a significant emphasis on communion over the past couple of years. Some, such as Lou Engle and David Bradshaw, are referring to the coming revival as a “Communion Revival.” This is the purpose of the gathering on the Washington Mall, October 9-12. We will cry out for God’s mercy through the blood of Jesus, and the release of the Third Great Awakening in America. This will include and be aided by great signs and wonders. Pray with me: Father, You are without doubt orchestrating events in preparation for the Third Great Awakening in America, and a great revival throughout the entire earth. You “so loved” the world that You gave Jesus as a sacrifice to save it. We are grateful for Your love and mercy. We believe the time has come for this love and mercy to be released in a new measure. As millions partake of communion together on October 9-12, cause the power of Christ’s sacrifice to be released as a mighty river throughout the earth. Let this time create a shaft into the water table of Your Spirit, releasing the well of life that brings healing to the nations. We are not asking for old methods and programs; we are asking for the old water source, the old river, the old flow. Release it into the earth, we pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Words influence thinking, thinking forms beliefs, beliefs create actions, and shape the culture. Pretty simple. Murder is bad; call it “abortion.” Riots are bad; call them “mostly peaceful” protests. Reverse racism is bad; call it “DEI - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”. Taking people’s hard-earned money is bad; call it “democratic socialism.” Defunding the police is bad (and stupid); call it “reallocating funds.” You get the point. Perhaps you’ve seen clips of 20 or 30 liberal newscasters all using the exact same language to describe events or policies. The talking points are obviously disseminated from party leaders and talking heads to ensure they are using the same language. This is to shape the thinking and culture of America. The goal of censorship is to control and shape the narrative, thereby influencing and controlling the culture. It’s all by design. Leftists and progressives know that what people believe to be true shapes and controls them, whether it is true or not. In other words, people are not controlled by truth – they’re controlled by what we believe to be true! The Scriptures confirm this. Consider the verse from Proverbs 23:7, which tells us that “as a person thinks within himself, so is he." Some translations say that as a person thinks in his “heart,” so is he. The Hebrew word is nephesh, the word for “soul” - the mind, emotions, and will. As your soul thinks, so are you.(1) There’s greater depth to this verse in Proverbs, however. The meaning of the Hebrew word translated “think” gives added insight into what Holy Spirit was saying regarding the soul’s operation. The word is shaar, which literally means “to split or open.”(2) It refers to “a place of access” or “an entranceway.” It is the word in Scripture for a doorkeeper or gatekeeper. This verse is referring not so much to the actual “thoughts” of one’s mind, but to what the mind has been opened up to that creates the thoughts. Whatever the door or gate of a person’s soul has been opened to, and what has gained access to their soul, will shape and control them, determining their decisions and actions. Snakes, Sweat Drops, and Blisters The following examples illustrate the profound impact of this on a person’s behavior. An article in Reader’s Digest said, “Gut feelings can occur without a person being consciously aware of them. For example, when people who fear snakes are shown a picture of a snake, sensors on their skin will detect sweat, a sign of anxiety, even though the people say they do not feel fear. The sweat shows up even when a picture is presented so rapidly that the subject has no conscious awareness of seeing it.”(3) Amazing. The door of the person’s soul had been opened to a fear of snakes. The subconscious mind picked up the image of the snake and responded with a measurable response of fear. Another example is found in the field of hypnosis (which I don’t believe is wise to participate in). It’s been proven that, under hypnosis, a person’s subconscious beliefs clearly trump reality. One hypnotist told his subject to hold out her hand, then announced that he was going to put a hot coal in it. Instead, he placed an ice cube there. Despite reality, she immediately flinched and dropped the ice cube... and a blister formed on her hand!(4) What?! How can that be? The subconscious mind believed the hypnotist’s words to be true. Therefore, it went to work, initiating the body’s process of dealing with a burn. It pulled the file that associated holding a hot coal with pain and, working on autopilot, sent impulses throughout the body that caused a blister. What’s believed in the mind doesn’t have to be true to control us; it merely has to be believed. Norman Vincent Peale recounts the following: “Once, walking through the twisted little streets of Kowloon in Hong Kong, I came upon a tattoo studio. In the window were displayed samples of the tattoos available. On the chest and arms, you could have tattooed an anchor, or flag, or mermaid, or whatever. But what struck me with force were three words that could be tattooed on one’s flesh: ‘Born to lose.’ “I entered the shop in astonishment and, pointing to those words, asked the artist, ‘Does anyone really have that terrible phrase tattooed on his body?’ “He replied, ‘Yes, sometimes.’ “‘But,’ I said, ‘I just can’t believe that anyone in his right mind would do that.’ “The Chinese man simply tapped his forehead and said, in broken English, ‘Before tattoo on body, tattoo on mind.’”(5) Educators in America have tattooed on the minds of a generation that there is no God. If there is no God or Creator, then there is no purpose, destiny, or design; all is by accident and happenstance. This allows one to believe their body is a mistake: they have the body of a male, when they’re actually a female trapped in the wrong body. Or vice versa. The answer? Go to work changing it: take pills to kill the male parts. Better yet, cut them off. We have tattooed onto their minds that fulfillment can be found in drugs, alcohol, and other temporal pleasures. That marriage doesn’t have to be between a man and woman; all that matters is love. That marriage isn’t really necessary at all; just live together until the excitement ends, then find another mate. That children are a nuisance, an inconvenience, and unnecessary interruptions in one’s career. That sin and Satan are fun, while God and righteousness are boring. That absolute truth doesn’t exist; all is relative and to be determined by ever-changing standards. And many more lies. A godless culture is a hopeless culture, a mooring-less and anchor-less society blown about by human philosophies and ideas, everyone doing what is right in their own eyes (Judges 17:6, 21:25). Revival will change this, removing the tattoos. Reformation will preserve the change. God’s power is strong enough to transform the minds and hearts of a generation. He will enter the gates of their minds, remove deception, and invade their souls with His truth. He will write new laws in their hearts and minds, His laws. And He will capture them with His perfect love and passionate heart. Sixty years of deviant planning and hard work by satan’s kingdom will be overthrown through one powerful revival. Pray with me: Father, we humans get things all messed up when we try to live life without You. We call good evil and evil good. Eventually, we abandon even common sense and embrace insanity. You rightly referenced those who say You don’t exist as fools. Here in America, we removed You from our education system, filling our textbooks and lectures with hell, destruction, hopelessness, and purposeless living. Please forgive us for this heinous evil. Come now and heal our land. Begin with the young generation of Americans, doing what You promised: send the greatest awakening in history and begin with the youth. They are hungry, they are searching, and You are the answer. Demolish the arguments of humanism, secularism, and atheism. Open the eyes of this generation to the reality of who You are and who You have created them to be. Deliver them from demons, deception, confusion, and spiritual darkness. Let the power of Your love overwhelm them! All of this we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen. The use of drugs, the sexual revolution, and the break-up of the American family can be traced back to then. Sixty-plus years of moral and spiritual devolution have been devastating. Many have pointed out the correlation between this downward spiral and the removal of God from America’s classrooms. Prayer in schools was not always a controversial topic. In fact, public schools had prayer for nearly 200 years before the Supreme Court ruled that state-mandated class prayers were unconstitutional in the landmark case of Engel vs Vitale in June 1962. “When the families of New Hyde Park, New York, complained that the voluntary prayer in schools went against their religious beliefs, the prayer in question went as follows: ‘Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon thee, and we beg thy blessings on our parents, our teachers, and our country. Amen.’ “Since the court outlawed prayer, the nation has been in steady moral decline. Former Secretary of Education, William Bennet, revealed in his cultural indexes that between 1960 and 1990 divorce doubled, teenage pregnancy went up 200 percent, teen suicide increased 300 percent, violent crime went up 500 percent, and he maintains that there is a strong correlation between the expulsion of prayer from our schools and decline in morality.”(1) The moral decline in our nation over this span of time has never stopped and is shocking. One of the manifestations is, of course, violence. Yesterday, a 23-year-old young man opened fire on students attending their first Mass of the school year at Annunciation Catholic School in south Minneapolis, MN. At the time of this writing, 2 children were killed and 17 people were injured (14 of whom were children). The shooter was identified as Robert/Robin Westman. Robert, identifying as a trans woman, legally changed his name to Robin Westman in 2020. Westman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene. The FBI is investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics. Only two years prior, leaders of non-public and religious schools in Minnesota had asked Governor Tim Walz for help in securing their schools. Tragically, the funding was never authorized. In the same month as this request, April 2023, Gov. Walz signed legislation establishing MN as a “trans refuge” promising to “protect those seeking gender-affirming care,” according to OutFront MN.(2) One has to wonder what the drugs being given to these dear children may be doing to their minds. Our hearts break for the parents, teachers, and children of Annunciation Catholic School who were affected by this horrible attack. We especially pray for the families who lost loved ones. May God’s grace and peace be with them. President Trump ordered American flags on military posts and government buildings throughout the U.S. to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Sunday. Our friend Cheryl Sacks pointed out in the GH15 post on August 20, the spiritual attacks taking place against our children: “An invisible war is raging for the hearts and minds of the next generation. Just last week, I read about a murder plot devised by fifth-graders (two boys and two girls) to take the life of an autistic boy. One student was to bring the knife, another to fake a suicide note, and one to serve as a scout while the stabbing took place. The autistic boy thought these were his friends.(3) “When God is removed, the devil fills the void. Good is evil. Evil is good. Lord, have mercy! “What’s happening in our schools is alarming. Once beacons of academic learning, places of safety, friendship, and good citizenship, they are anything but that today.”(4) I encourage you to revisit Cheryl’s post from last week, where she provides detailed suggestions on how we can pray for our children. As I have stated many times, only a powerful spiritual revival can reverse the current state of our nation. Thankfully, this has begun. A mighty revival is coming to America, beginning with the young. There are documented instances of revival breaking out among our youth, both here in America and in the UK. We must pray fervently that what has begun will intensify. During this time, the words of Nehemiah (4:14) are appropriate: “When I saw their fear, I stood and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people: ‘Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.’” Pray with me: Father, our hearts grieve over the senseless loss of lives in Minnesota. We ask You to bring comfort and strength to the families involved. Nothing can remove from them the present grief of their loss, and the trauma to the children that survived will be tremendous. But You are the Healer and the Comforter, and we ask You to do what only You can do. Comfort them. And we pray once again for a mighty revival that will transform our nation. Let it be strong enough to undo six decades of damage to the soul and psyche of our nation. Forgive us for allowing You to be removed from our schools. Free our children from the resulting confusion, addictions, violence, lack of identity, and purpose. Introduce them to Your glorious Son and their wonderful Savior. Make them strong in character. Use them to reform our nation and carry Your light to the nations of the world. Help us remain faithful during this time of transition in our nation. Keep the intercessors motivated so that we may finish well. Don’t allow complacency to enter at this critical time. All of this we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen. Ceci is recovering nicely from last week’s hip replacement surgery. It’s a slow process, but she looks forward to being on the other side of it. The title of today’s post is: The Snare of Denial According to the dictionary, denial is “An unconscious defense mechanism used to reduce anxiety by denying thoughts, feelings, or facts that are consciously intolerable.”(1) This can be very detrimental to a person’s well-being. However, I contend that there is good denial and bad denial. For example, a desert nomad awakened from hunger one night and decided he’d have a midnight snack. Lighting a candle, he grabbed a date and took a bite. Holding the date to the candle, he saw a worm, whereupon he threw the date out of the tent. Biting into the second date, he found another worm and threw it away, also. Then, the nomad paused to consider the situation. Deciding he might not get anything to eat if this continued, he blew out the candle and ate the dates.(2) That’s good denial. Just pretend there are no worms and eat the dates. The fear is all in your head, anyway - eating worms won’t hurt you. I learned that from watching the History Channel show “Alone.” Then there is the story of a stubborn, never-say-die general who was taken captive and thrown into a deep, wide pit along with a number of his soldiers. In that pit was a huge pile of horse manure. “Follow me,” the general cried to his men as he dove into the pile. “There has to be a horse here somewhere!”(3) That’s bad denial. Granted, it’s good determination, unshakable optimism, and noble leadership - he went first. But it’s still bad denial. Excuse my grammar but…there ain’t no horse in the manure!!! Just because you want something to be true doesn’t make it so. In a case like this, it’s far better to “dive” into the truth. A lot of people in America have a case of bad denial, this “unconscious defense mechanism used to reduce anxiety by denying thoughts, feelings, or facts that are consciously intolerable.” I appreciate wanting to help gender confused individuals, but denial and multiple labels aren’t the answer. Certainly, castration and mutilation are not the answers. God said He made us male and female (Genesis 1:27), and that settles it. Common sense confirms it, and science even proves it - X and Y chromosomes. We must absolutely love the confused and help them deal with their pain, but not through denial. Then there is marriage. People are supposed to marry the opposite sex, not the same sex. God took a woman, not another man, from Adam’s side, and she became his wife (Genesis 2:21-24). To believe otherwise is unhealthy denial. Some politicians and educators are in denial about this, as is the Supreme Court. I certainly don’t hate those who have chosen to believe and live contrary to what the Scriptures say regarding this. To the contrary, I love them as fellow humans and citizens, and do not want them mistreated in any way. But I cannot compromise the Scriptures. And men can’t have babies!!! Talk about denial. Play word games all you want, buy fake breasts and pretend to nurse a baby, but at the end of the day, there is no baby in the “men can have babies” pile. No amount of denial and pretend games will change this fact. Gender issues are by no means the only areas of bad denial in America. Denial is everywhere. Some in the church practice denial: “Portions of the Bible do not apply to me. God just wants me to be happy.” Some in the education field engage in denial: “DEI is more important than reading, writing, and arithmetic.” And some in the media are actually specialists in denial: “Truth doesn’t matter; reporting what we want people to believe is far more important.” And then there is government. Some politicians in Washington, D.C. would rather have criminals controlling the city than have Trump remove them. It’s not that they like the crime and violence; they just don’t want Trump to get credit for fixing the problems. And they don’t want his help. In fact, many would rather have rampant crime than accept help from President Trump. So, they practice denial: “We don’t have a crime problem here!” Government is overpopulated with “ostrich politicians” - head in the sand, blind to reality. In Chicago, Mayor Johnson, with his 6% approval rating and his city being the murder capital of the nation for 13 straight years, recoiled at Trump‘s offer to help clean up Chicago. Johnson called it “Tyranny!” Proverbs 26:11 comes to mind: “Like a dog that returns to its vomit, is a fool who repeats his folly.” And we cannot forget the denial of gerrymandering. “We despise your gerrymandering,” say the kings of gerrymandering to the Republicans. “You are destroying democracy with your corruption. We don’t engage in this evil; we simply redistrict.” And who can forget those on the left who are so upset about the investigations of liars, leakers, corrupt judges, “lawfare” prosecutors, dishonest and disgraceful members of Congress, a shadow government in the White House running our nation during Biden’s tenure, and other criminals in government. “These investigations are only revenge,” they shout, as the DOJ, DNI, and FBI turn over more and more documents. They’re in denial, refusing to believe that their previous shouts of, “No one is above the law!” are drowning out their current accusations and confirming their hypocrisy. With eyes closed, they just continue diving into the Trump Derangement Syndrome pile. Jesus gave the anecdote to denial in John 8:32: “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Consistent with this, Proverbs 10:17 tells us, “If you readily receive correction, you are walking on the path to life. But if you reject rebuke, you’re guaranteed to go astray” (TPT‬‬). And Proverbs 13:18 instructs us, “Poverty and disgrace come to the one who refuses to hear criticism. But the one who is easy to correct is on the path of honor” (TPT‬‬). “The path to life” and “the path of honor” are available to all. According to God’s instructions to Israel, life can be chosen (Deuteronomy 30:19). Let’s pray that more and more people in our nation accept the truth and choose life. Pray with me: Father, we humans are “prone to wonder,” as the hymn writer said (Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing).(4) We sometimes prefer the darkness of denial to the light of truth. Remind us that we do not have to stumble upon the truth; Holy Spirit has been sent to lead us into all truth (John 16:13). We can choose to follow Him, honor Your Word, and thereby choose freedom and the path of life. We pray for those who have chosen to turn away from Your words of life and path of freedom. Bring them to their senses as You did the prodigal in Scripture. Break the deception off them. We ask that You remove the veil of darkness that blinds them to the light of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). Remove the influence of those leading people into deception. Jesus described it as “the blind leading the blind” (Matthew 15:14). Continue to awaken the American people. Expose deception and corruption in government and media. Expose these things in education and entertainment. We declare along with the old but timeless song, “[Your] truth is marching on.” Awaken America to Your truth once again. Make it strong and loud. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Ceci had hip replacement surgery last Tuesday, and I’m playing nurse. She continues to recover well and thanks you for your prayers. I’ll be back in the saddle, writing the posts myself, starting tomorrow. Today’s encouraging post is from Timmerle Kelly, Executive Director of the Reformation Prayer Network. Timmerle reminds us of the tremendous victories our prayers have generated, and exhorts us to persevere in seeing America reformed. Her title is: Reformation Rising Some of us have been praying for our nation for a very long time, longing to see shifts that seemed not to materialize. Many had to regularly guard against the heart sickness caused by hope deferred, mentioned in the first half of Proverbs 13:12. We longed to reach the second half of the verse, which says, “But a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.” As this year began, something changed. Prophetic words shifted. Victory began to manifest from the years of faithful prayers. Many began asking, “Could this be the year where the synergy of our prayers manifests in earthly fulfillment?” A new government was seated in January 2025, and we began to watch as prayers that had been prayed for 30 years or more began being answered. In some cases, we could not have imagined how completely and quickly this would occur. We had elected a president, but God had chosen a man who would form a government He could work through. Many believers–some appointed by Trump, others elected–are now in high-level positions, such as Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and the Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. But even those who are not Christians are clearly in place to carry out God’s plans for the nation. Jeremiah 1:10 is our new reality, “See, I have set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant” (NKJV). We now join our prayers to the victories we have seen materialize. And the more we see, the more we long to see. Here are just a few of the astonishing victories we have seen in just the first half of this year: One of the longest prayer battles we have fought has been the battle for life, which has raged since the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade in 1973. This ruling was overturned by SCOTUS on June 24, 2022, which sent the battle back to the states. More needs to happen to stop abortion in America, but good things are happening. A few days after his inauguration, President Trump re-enacted the Hyde Amendment. His Executive Order states, “It is the policy of the United States, consistent with the Hyde Amendment, to end the forced use of federal taxpayer dollars to fund or promote elective abortion.”(1) Adding to this victory was the passing of “The One Big Beautiful Bill.” It included a provision prohibiting Medicaid reimbursements to health clinics that provide abortions. This is being contested in the courts, but funding is being withheld until the case is decided. In California alone, the loss to abortionists is considered to be $300 million.(2) Over 100 abortion-providing clinics have closed or are closing across the nation thus far – including at least 41 Planned Parenthoods.(3) In fact, the largest Planned Parenthood facility in the nation, in Houston, TX, recently announced its closing due to a lack of funding.(4) We have much work to do, but we celebrate these victories! Religious persecution of Christians and Jews has been another issue in which we are seeing positive change. We have seen Christians “de-platformed” from social media, and “de-banked” by major financial institutions for public statements of faith and political comments regarding biblical values. In February, President Trump launched a task force to “eradicate anti-Christian bias.” He additionally stated, “The law protects the freedom of Americans and groups of Americans to practice their faith in peace, and my Administration will enforce the law and protect these freedoms.”(5) While watching a serious erosion of family values in America, we have consistently and fervently prayed Malachi 4:6, “He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a curse” (KJV). Still, we watched as attacks against family values escalated in recent years. This moved from *** rights to *** marriage, then to gender identity confusion therapies, resulting in the mutilation of children’s bodies and the threat of the loss of parental rights.(6) But in answer to prayer, President Trump has signed numerous executive orders to protect children, including one on January 28th that reads, “Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions. This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.”(7) And the President is working to stop this evil. On another front, in February, the president banned biological men from competing in women’s sports. The next day, in order to prevent the retraction of federal funds, the NCAA (the largest governing body for college sports) aligned its participation policy with the executive order. NCAA President Charlie Baker said, “To that end, President Trump’s order provides a clear, national standard.”(8) In July, the U.S. Olympic Committee banned trans athletes from competing in women’s sports.(9) Thank you, President Trump, for making a righteous stand. Although it seems ridiculous, we do need legislation to support these changes, or a future president could reverse them. We must continue to pray that ruling bodies stand firm for common sense and righteousness. There is so much more for which to be thankful. We could talk about the “cleaning up” of government initiated by the DOGE team, immigration and the closing of the border, changes in the leadership of our judicial and intelligence divisions, and the ongoing exposure of past political espionage. We could examine how all three branches of government are finally beginning to work together, and how other nations are being affected by our nation’s changes, including the ending of six wars around the world. We are truly in the midst of a national and international reformation. See it, believe it, agree with it, shake off any complacency or doubt, and press on in prayer and intercession. Pray with me: Father, we thank You, for You are truly moving in our nation! We see the signs of revival and reformation! We rejoice in these breakthroughs that are rolling unrighteousness off America. Today’s outstanding post is from Kelsey Bohlender, Executive Director of Zoe’s House, a God-birthed and Spirit-led adoption agency. Kelsey also co-pastors with her husband, Randy, and is a seasoned intercessor. Her passion for life and corresponding actions for promoting life have made her a strong voice for the most significant cause in America. Kelsey’s title is “Advancing the Culture of Life.” Here’s Kelsey. Advancing the Culture of Life My name is Kelsey Bohender. I’m the executive director of Zoe’s House Adoption Agency in Kansas City. I am honored to bring you today’s Give Him 15. Today, I bring you an update on abortion since Roe v. Wade was overturned—and a call to action for the body of Christ. When the Dobbs decision returned abortion policy to the states, we rejoiced. Roe v. Wade was dead. We knew some states would cling to abortion, but we hoped others would drive numbers down. Yet three years later, abortions haven’t decreased—they’ve shifted. Our strategy for life must follow. Informed intercession is critical. When our prayers align with action, they become “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen” brought into reality. My husband, Randy, and I launched Zoe’s House ten years ago as part of our response to the culture of death that had taken root in the forty years following Roe v. Wade. As an adoptive family, we believed we could champion life by raising awareness and helping other families adopt. Our vision was also to treat expectant mothers with dignity and the love of Jesus. We saw adoption as a prophetic witness to the day Roe would fall – and it still is. Adoption remains a powerful answer to abortion, a living testimony that life is always the better way. While adoption stands as light in the darkness, the landscape has changed. The Guttmacher Institute estimates 1,038,000 abortions in 2024 – the highest in recent years. Though twelve states enacted total bans after Roe’s reversal, national abortion rates have actually increased. How? The truth is, abortion hasn’t ended; it’s shifted to regional hubs, drawing women from states where it’s restricted. In Kansas, which chose to protect the “right” to abort, nearly 16,000 out-of-state residents came to the Sunflower State for an abortion last year. North Carolina and New Mexico saw similar trends; Illinois nearly doubled that, performing over 35,000 abortions for women from other states. Roe may be gone, but abortion has concentrated into epicenters – bigger clinics, busier schedules, and a steady stream of women traveling in. Meanwhile, medication abortions are surging through telehealth and online pill orders. With both travel and medication abortions rising, the battlefield has changed – and when it changes, so must our strategy. This is why strategic intercession and targeted action matter more than ever. Intercessors speak the language of battle, so hear this: a “beachhead” is a foothold wrested from enemy hands, a place where the tide begins to turn. It is not the war’s end, but it is sacred ground, claimed and held, from which the next great advance will rise. Stand firm. Strengthen the lines. From here, light breaks through. As Isaiah 58 promises, “If you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” This is the promise for God’s people who stand for the vulnerable – light in dark places, victory on contested ground. For the pro-life movement, adoption has always been a crucial beachhead — a strategic foothold where conviction becomes undeniable action. Adoption doesn’t end abortion, but it ignites a movement to defend the value of a child, protect the sanctity of a mother, and celebrate the beauty of a family. Zoe’s House is one such beachhead. From the ground gained over the past ten years, we have been able to launch in multiple directions, advancing the cause of life. Families who open their hearts to babies and children through the spirit of adoption also become a beachhead on the pro-life front. Like Isaiah’s parents, they said yes to this precious, non-verbal, autistic 2-year-old boy with no hesitation when his birthmother decided that she wanted a family for him who could care for his needs. Isaiah spoke his first words as he became a part of their family, and his birthmom receives regular updates in this open adoption. It’s a beautiful story. The courage and compassion of this family give them equity in the fight for life. In the Church, Isaiah and his birthmom are not statistics; each life is sacred with a future worth fighting for. We should never be content with merely saving a heartbeat, but invest in the futures of these children and in the dignity of their mothers. Ground is not held simply by caring for children. In the pro-life movement, holding ground means valuing the futures of both child and mother. Some women, when they choose life instead of abortion, do so out of deep love for their child and a desire for a better future. Others may not yet have that vision for their child—but they still need to know that their own life is worth investing in. The Church must see both. This means asking hope-filled questions: “What could your life look like five years from now? What would it take to get there?” It means walking alongside her with real help – healthcare, job training, education, safe housing – so that her life, too, can flourish. This is where conviction becomes action, where life advocacy becomes life provision. When the Church champions both the child and the mother, it stands firm against the tide of cultural opposition, holding ground so that hopelessness cannot sweep them away. And from this foothold, we move forward – not only to prevent death, but to provide life in all its fullness. The pro-life mission continues long after a child’s first cry. If adoption of babies is a beachhead in the fight for life, then stepping into foster care is advancing that line. Across our nation, thousands of children in foster care are waiting not just for shelter, but for stability, belonging, and love. Over 36,000 of these children are legally free for adoption right now. Many have been moved from place to place, carrying their lives in a trash bag, wondering if anyone sees them. Stepping into adoption from foster care means claiming new territory where the enemy has sown abandonment, neglect, and despair, and replacing it with safety, healing, and hope. Every home opened, every heart willing to mentor, every church that wraps around foster families - these are forward movements in the campaign for life. We have the opportunity to expand the foothold we’ve gained, not only defending the unborn but also in defending the born who are still waiting for a permanent seat at a family table. When the Church steps into foster care, the mission of life becomes complete. We move from simply saving lives to transforming them. The battle for life is fought wherever children are protected, mothers are cherished, and families are made whole. From the womb to the foster home, from the prayer closet to the frontlines, this is the campaign for life. We’ve prayed for abortion to end, for children to be safe, for families restored, and Jesus is raising up churches to be the answer. Not everyone can adopt, but every believer can serve; be a surrogate aunt or uncle, driver, babysitter, or cook, wrapping around families so they thrive. Informed prayer strikes with precision, and tangible steps bring those prayers to life. As Isaiah 58 reminds us, when we champion the vulnerable and fatherless, His light breaks through, healing quickly appears, and the glory of the Lord will be our rear guard. Darkness cannot stand. We are not bystanders in this story – we are the ones who plant the flag of hope, hold the ground, and press the advance until every child thrives, every mother flourishes, and every family is whole. Larry is a bestselling author, the publisher of Destiny Image, and an anointed revivalist. He is confirming that revival has begun, and we should claim it for our family and city. His title is: “Claim the Rain.” Here’s Larry. _________________________________________________________ Claim the Rain There is an end-time alarm clock going off in the spirit right now. When you hear or see the Holy Spirit moving somewhere, that is your prophetic invitation to claim the rain of revival for yourself. End-Times Context and Promise Zechariah 10:1 provides a striking prophetic instruction: “Ask for rain in the time of rain.” This Scripture gives us a model for how to respond when we see or hear reports of revival. Sadly, many believers have been conditioned to associate end-times language with doom and disaster—especially the warnings Jesus outlines in Matthew 24. But recently, while helping a community navigate end-times concerns, the Lord dropped a phrase into my spirit that recalibrated everything: “Matthew 24 is the context. Joel 2 is the promise. Claim the promise. Claim the rain.” Yes, Matthew 24 describes the shaking—wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, famines, deception. But Jesus didn’t invite us to claim those events; He was giving us context for the age in which we’d be sent. Joel 2, however—later quoted by Peter on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2—is the divine promise for that very hour: “In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy…” (Acts 2:17) This is what we’re called to claim—an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all people, especially the sons and daughters who are part of God’s prophetic end-time agenda. And in this present moment, I’ve never been more convinced that we’re beginning to see that promise unfold. Lightning Struck in Dublin, Ireland… Everything shifted for me personally at a church in Dublin, Ireland, in May of 2024. The church met—of all places—in a boxing ring. I was ministering alongside my dear friend, Tommy Evans, in a spiritually charged atmosphere. There was energetic worship, hopefully solid preaching, and then an unexpected call to respond. We felt prompted to invite all those 30 years and younger to come forward. They began to gather on the platform. What happened next can only be described as a divine interruption. The lightning of God struck. As we began to pray, some fell under the power of God. Others crumpled to their knees in tears. Many lay prostrate on the boxing ring floor, overcome by the weighty presence of the Holy Spirit. All across the auditorium, families prayed together, embraced one another, and turned their seats into sacred altars of encounter. From that moment on, we’ve seen an intensification of Holy Spirit activity—across generations, across nations. And here’s what’s so encouraging: the most explosive outpourings are happening in places many have written off as too hard, too dark, or too secular—nations and territories labeled as spiritual graveyards. Evidently, the Holy Spirit did not receive that memo. If you go into a territory with the Gospel and the Glory—the bold proclamation of truth coupled with the tangible demonstration of God’s power—no stronghold can stand. No region is unreachable. So when people ask me, “Larry, where are the revival hotspots?” I can now say confidently: Southern California. The Pacific Northwest. New England. Ireland. The United Kingdom. These are places I minister regularly, and we are witnessing an overwhelming spiritual hunger rising alongside unmistakable outpourings of the Holy Spirit. And this is not just anecdotal. Look at the data—begin with what’s happening in the United Kingdom. The “new atheism” movement failed to deliver purpose to a generation, and now, we are seeing young people turning to the church in record numbers. Revival is real—and it’s measurable. Showers and Storms So what exactly is happening? Jennie Allen—bestselling author and founder of the IF: Gathering—has been at the forefront of a university campus awakening movement called UNITE US, alongside Jonathan Pokluda and Tonya Prewett. Recently, she had a conversation with Pastor Greg Laurie, who hosted a massive evangelistic crusade in Southern California where approximately 45,000 people attended and around 6,500 made professions of faith in Christ. Laurie’s insights struck me. As Jennie recounted what the Lord was doing, Laurie—himself a leader in the Jesus People Movement—said it sounded just like that historic revival. He described a pattern: First, there are scattered rain showers. People hear of revival breaking out here and there, at this place and that place. Then, it simply starts to rain. Moves of God start erupting everywhere. But his last statement is what caused my heart to burn. Then… it starts to storm. Laurie was not speaking of some kind of storm of destruction, but a storm of revival outpouring where the move of God becomes an unstoppable territorial awakening that ushers multitudes into the Kingdom of God and produces cultural transformation. I believe we are entering that final stage. The showers are turning to storms. And not storms of destruction, but storms of divine visitation. Watchmen of Revival As I continue to travel, I’ve made it my mission to be a watchman of revival. And I want to encourage you to do the same. Now, when we hear the term “watchman,” we often think of someone looking out for threats—demons, darkness, and deception. And yes, we must be alert and discerning. But I believe the Lord is raising up a different kind of watchman in this hour: Watchmen who are God-preoccupied, not devil-obsessed. Watchmen who are alert to what the Spirit is doing, not just what the enemy is scheming. These are men and women who have set their hearts to seek and recognize the movement of God wherever it manifests. Right now, I pray that kind of anointing over you. May you be like Elijah in 1 Kings 18:44, who, in the midst of a long drought, celebrated the small cloud “the size of a man’s hand” as if it were already a downpour. Celebrate the cloud. Claim the rain. Celebrate the little signs of breakthrough in your life—the smallest shift in your marriage, the prodigal child asking a provoking spiritual question, a glimmer of healing in your body. In a microwave, fast-food culture, we’re trained to expect instant, massive results. But heaven celebrates the seed as much as the harvest. It’s Time to Claim the Rain The rain is falling. We’re not waiting for God to move—He already is. So the question is: Will you claim it? When you hear about revival in California, New England, Ireland, or across your social media feed, don’t just cheer it on—lay hold of it in faith. If it’s raining anywhere, it can rain everywhere. Because Joel 2 wasn’t just a local promise—it was a global one. The last days’ outpouring is not reserved for special people in special places. It’s for all flesh. It’s for your family. It’s for your city. It’s for your church. So lift your eyes. Bend your ear. Tune your heart. The Holy Spirit is moving. He’s pouring out His Spirit. Ask for rain in the time of rain. And don’t just ask—claim it. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-19-2025 August 19, 2025 Picture the Promise Trump’s Meeting with European Leaders I have an encouraging and insightful teaching from my brother, Tim, for today’s post. However, first I feel I must address the meeting that occurred yesterday with President Trump, President Zelenskyy of Ukraine, and other major leaders in Europe. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 million people have been killed in the Russia/Ukraine war over the last three years. These are staggering numbers. Also, it is estimated that upwards of 20,000 children have been kidnapped and taken to Russia in order to reeducate and indoctrinate them. Putin is a very cruel and evil man. After yesterday’s meeting, there seemed to be guarded optimism that a peace deal is possible. President Trump called Putin after discussing security guarantees for Ukraine with the European leaders. “I called President Putin, and began the arrangements for a meeting, at a location to be determined, between President Putin and President Zelenskyy,” the President wrote on Truth Social. “After that meeting takes place, we will have a Trilat, which would be the two Presidents, plus myself,” Trump said, calling it a positive “early step for a war that has been going on for almost four years.” Trump placed the call to Putin after the discussions at the White House with the European leaders, “which ended in a further meeting in the Oval Office. During the meeting we discussed Security Guarantees for Ukraine, which guarantees would be provided by the various European Countries, with a coordination with the United States of America,” Trump wrote. We must continue to pray fervently for these ongoing talks, asking God to bring a peaceful end to this horrible war. ********** Tim’s Message In Ephesians 1:18 (NKJV), Paul prays that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened. “Enlightened” comes from the Greek word photizō, meaning to light up or give light, thus to enlighten.(1) You can see the similarity to our English word “photo,” and both words do indeed originate from the same root word, phos, meaning light. It’s easy to see the connectedness of these terms: photos are produced by literal light entering through a camera’s shutter, burning an image onto a negative; enlightenment occurs as figurative light enters the mind, bringing understanding. To assist us in our faith, Holy Spirit will sometimes inspire a “photo” or picture in our hearts and minds. These images serve as faith reminders and igniters that help us declare and confess God’s promises; they give focus to our faith. They allow us to “see” and meditate on God’s promises. Faith is a function of the spirit, but the mind must also be renewed and brought into agreement with His Word. The two must be in harmony. If not, the mind will hinder the process; we can’t be picturing the opposite of what our faith is believing for. Thus, Holy Spirit will often prompt an image to serve as a spiritual photograph, helping us in this process. In Joshua 6, we see a powerful example of the Lord inspiring a picture of a promise fulfilled. Forty years after leaving Egypt, Israel was finally on the verge of stepping into their promised inheritance. Their journey had required an enduring faith. Now, standing before them was Jericho, the first city they would encounter after crossing the Jordan River. It could not be avoided, but had to be taken. Jericho, however, was no ordinary city. As one of the most fortified strongholds of its time, its walls stood 54 feet high and 24 feet thick, broad enough for two chariots to ride side by side on the tops. Its defenders were seasoned warriors, men of valor. Joshua, having spied out the land years before, knew firsthand just how formidable Jericho was. Now he stood on a hillside, looking down on the city, seeking direction from the Lord and wondering how such an impenetrable place could be conquered. At that moment, the Lord appeared to Joshua dressed as a warrior, with a drawn sword. Joshua asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” The Lord didn’t answer the question directly. Instead, He gave a declaration. Joshua 6:1–2 (NKJV) tells us: “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, ‘See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” God didn’t say, “Look at Jericho.” He said, “See, I have given it into your hand.” That’s a key difference. God didn’t want Joshua to focus on the natural circumstances. He was calling him to see with the eyes of faith. The Hebrew word for “see” is raah, which means to see, both literally and figuratively–to perceive, to envision, to gaze upon in the mind, even to dream.(2) God was telling Joshua: “Picture Jericho already in your hands. Envision it as done. See it as conquered.” The word “hand” is also significant. In Hebrew, it is yad, which can also be figurative, used for holding power and authority.(3) God was saying, “See Jericho already under your power and authority.” Regarding this verse, in the footnotes of The Passion Translation, it says: “Faith will see ‘what is still unseen’ (Hebrews 11:1). God gave Joshua a promise upon which to rest his faith.” This was not about natural sight; it was about supernatural vision, a photo, if you will. Joshua was told to see the promise as fulfilled before it physically happened. Picture the walls down, the enemy scattered, and the victory won! As he aligned his vision with God’s promise, his faith was assisted and activated. This is a tremendously helpful principle for us: See the promise fulfilled! God often gives us a picture, not in the natural but in our spirit, that becomes a photograph of the promise. Romans 4:17 (AMP) says that God “calls into being that which does not exist.” In other words, He speaks about things that don’t yet exist in the natural realm as if they already do, knowing His words have the power to bring them into reality. This is the essence of faith. Hebrews 11:1 tells us faith is the substance of things we hope for, the evidence of things not yet seen in the natural realm. Some translations of this verse refer to faith as the title deed, the proof of ownership before the promise is visible naturally. Even when nothing appears to have changed in the natural, faith gives substance to what we hope for. It allows us to speak and act as though the promise already belongs to us. How can we talk about things that don’t yet exist? How do we describe what we haven’t seen? By seeing with spiritual eyes that have been renewed and trained by the Word of God, picturing what our faith is producing. See your faith working. Envision the promise fulfilled. Picture yourself walking in healing, freedom, provision, and victory. Meditate on it. Daydream about it. Gaze upon it in your heart until it becomes more real to you than what your natural eyes see. Align your heart, mind, and mouth with God’s Word. Agree with His truth. When you see the promise clearly, you can decree it boldly, and your faith is positioned to grow and produce. Take a spiritual snapshot of your breakthrough, your healing, your deliverance, your answered prayer, and keep it before your eyes, your faith photo. Let that become a photo that encourages your faith. ********** Pray with me: Lord, help us see a picture of the promise fulfilled within us, sparking faith. Give us divine photographs, enlightened visions of inheritance, healing, provision, and power. Let us “see” healing and provision flowing. Let us “see” victory and breakthrough, our Jerichos falling before us. We will see it, and we will say it. Cause our faith to rise above all opposition, enabling us to thrive in the realm of the unseen. Teach us, Holy Spirit, to picture the change, declare the promise, and walk in the power of Your anointing. And Father, we continue to ask You to take action from heaven regarding the war in Ukraine. The toll in human lives has been unimaginable. Give NATO leaders and President Zelenskyy wisdom to know how to deal with Putin. Show them where to be firm and unyielding, and where to yield. Keep them united. And do something to move Putin. His heart is hard and wicked, but overrule him. Cause him to back off. Then, remove this evil man from rule. And we ask Your help in freeing the 20,000 kidnapped children. In Jesus’ name, amen. Our decree: We declare that our faith is activated, and we can see our promise fulfilled. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-18-2025 August 18, 2025 Rowing Together: Healing the Nations “But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:43-45, NASB, 1995) Doulos and Latris There are several New Testament words for “servant” or “minister,” each with different nuances of meaning. I will mention five of them today. I have found in my studies that these five form an interesting and important progression. The first two are doulos and latris. A doulos was a bond-slave, owned by another.(1) Paul often referred to himself as a bond-slave or bond-servant of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1, etc.). Yes, God owns us. This is true by the right of creation, but also because we are bought with a price by the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20; 7:23). As Lord, He can require us to do anything He wants. In the early days of the Charismatic Movement, we frequently sang the song, “He is Lord.” And He is. Latris, however, from the verb latreuo, means to serve, not out of compulsion, but by choice.(2) A parent serves his or her family by providing for and caring for them – not as a slave, but from the motivation of love. This is latreuo. Romans 12:1 in the King James Translation tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to God, as it is our “reasonable service.” Other versions of Scripture translate the phrase differently, and appropriately so, saying this is our “reasonable service of worship.” They do this because the word here is latreuo, not doulos. We are not being told to present our bodies to God as a living sacrifice because we are His slaves, but rather because we are in a relationship with Him and want to please Him. We do it as worshippers. God’s heart is not to relate to us as slaves “owned” by Him, but to do so as His family and friends. Jesus said in John 15:14-15: “You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.” Our Lord wants us to serve Him from a heart of love and worship, based on relationship. When we move into this type of relationship with God, we become His co-laborers, working together with Him. We embrace the great commission as a co-mission. Our hearts have become one with His, and we want what He wants. We’re members of Abba’s household of faith, His family. This motivation changes everything. Yes, Paul certainly referred to himself as the Lord’s bond-slave, but he also said the love of God constrained him; this was his motivation (2 Corinthians 5:14). As we pray and work toward the great harvest that is beginning, we must establish that we will obey God fully. But we must also fully realize that we are His partners, friends, and kids. As the Head of the church and King of the Kingdom, He gives directions, but He delights in involving us in the process. Diakonos The last three words used for “servant” or “minister” change the focus. Whereas the first two define our service and relationship with God, the last three involve us serving or ministering to other people. We are still doing it as unto the Lord, but the direct benefit is to humankind. The third word is diakonos, which simply means “to serve, minister, attend or wait on,” as in a “waiter” serving tables. We also get the English word “deacon” from this Greek word.(3) In Acts chapter 6, it is used for both the apostles’ “ministries” (Acts 6:4) and the deacons’ “ministries” (Acts 6:2). One group served natural food to the widows; the other served spiritual food to the entire church. Same word–both were servants. Diakonia/diakonos simply means to serve another, regardless of the purpose. We are ALL called to ministry or service for Christ, regardless of whether it is on a platform, in an office building, or at home. We have all been given gifts from God; serving that gift to benefit others is diakonia.(4) Huperetes The fourth word is huperetes, meaning “a subordinate or an attendant,” as well as a servant.(5) Interestingly, it is used in Acts 13:36 to describe David in his role as King of Israel. One would not typically think of describing a king as a subordinate, attendant, or servant. The verse says David ”served” God’s purpose in his generation. While governing the people, he was doing so as God’s servant. But there is another little-known meaning of huperetes. The word comes from two Greek words meaning “under” and “rower.” An underrower in that day was one who, in synchronization with others, rowed a boat or small ship. The key to their success was the synergy produced when they rowed together, simultaneously. Thirty people who take turns rowing produce only the strength of one, thirty different times. But thirty individuals rowing simultaneously create a synergistic force that can propel a small ship. This is why they often sang when rowing; it kept them in a cadence, rowing together to create a greater thrust. God’s goal is for groups in His church of “diakonoses” – servant ministers -- to connect relationally and row together (huperetes). They must not quarrel over who calls the cadence or what song they sing; instead, they must have Kingdom-minded hearts to move the boat forward: “Give me an oar and let me row.” When this is happening, we can accomplish number five. Therapon The last word for a servant is therapon. This word, while meaning “servant, attendant, or minister,” includes doing so to cure and heal!(6) (Matthew 4:23-24). We get the English words “therapy” and “therapist” from this Greek word. When God has people submitted to His Lordship (doulos), who love and want to partner with Him (latris), by ministering to others the gift He gave them (diakonos), and do so in harmony and agreement with others (huperetes), they become His healing force in the earth (therapon)! This is what we are doing when we intercede together for God’s purposes to be accomplished and released on earth. We become a force of God’s life, healing, and restorative power to save, deliver, and heal. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: Father, Jesus demonstrated true ministry – servanthood – as He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by satan (Acts 10:38). He came, not to be served, but to serve and give His life for many (Matthew 20:28). David, a king, was called a servant. Your apostles were called servants. We ask for great revelation to invade the church regarding our call to servanthood. And we ask for our hearts to be moved upon by Holy Spirit, bringing us passionate desires to connect, to work together. We ask that denominations, movements, leaders, and all believers would be moved on to produce this level of agreement. Convict us, the church, of judging one another, criticizing, causing, and/or honoring divisions. Show us the religiosity and pride that motivates this divisive spirit and replace it with a spirit of love and cooperation. And we ask for connections—millions of them. Build prayer connections, enabling us to fulfill the assignments you’ve given. We ask that EVERY nation have a STRONG prayer covering by the Ekklesia. Return our nations to You and send the greatest awakening the earth has ever experienced. In Christ’s name, amen. Those on the Left are demonstrating against Trump and the National Guard who are attempting to make Washington, D.C. safer and cleaner. They contend that DC is already safe and that crime isn’t a problem. Chuck Schumer says he feels perfectly safe walking around the Capitol area. He, of course, has his armed Secret Service detail all around him. Proverbs 18:1-2 comes to mind: “Unfriendly people care only about themselves; they lash out at common sense. Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.” (New Living Translation) Then there are the Democratic legislators in Texas who have walked off the job, protesting what they consider to be gerrymandering by the Republicans (redrawing Congressional districts in order to obtain more seats for a political party). Apart from the fact that abandoning their legislative jobs is illegal, the Dems did so by fleeing the state and hiding in Illinois, one of the most Democrat-gerrymandered states in the nation! “Let’s protest gerrymandering by fleeing to some of our gerrymandering friends!” One can’t help but wonder who thought that was a good idea. Meanwhile, “villain Trump” is off to Alaska today, attempting to stop another war. The Left doesn’t like this, either – someone else should end the war in Ukraine! As I have stated before, it appears TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is real and growing much more destructive. It doesn’t matter to most of us who gets the credit for ending the war in Ukraine; we would just like for the incredible suffering and loss of life to end. It seems that the economic pressure Trump has been placing on Russia is having an effect; Putin has requested a meeting with him. No one knows if the meeting will be productive - the tensions between Russia and Ukraine are great, and they seem to be pretty far apart with their demands – but it is worth a try. Though Putin’s brutal attack against Ukraine cannot be justified, the situation is a little more complicated than most of us Americans understand. The animosity between Ukraine and Russia has deep historical roots that stretch way back beyond the two modern states, similar to the millennia-old conflicts throughout the Middle East. Layers of rule, painful memories, and strategic interests have built a long-running tension. Here is a brief historical review based on my research, which perhaps will help us pray more intelligently. In medieval and early modern times, what is now Ukraine and Russia shared a significant amount of culture and political intermingling. Over the centuries, this changed. The 19th and early 20th centuries saw an intensification of conflicting ideals. A Ukrainian national awakening challenged foreign dominance. World War I and the collapse of empires opened a brief window for Ukrainian independence, but an ensuing civil war and foreign interventions left Ukraine fragmented and under Soviet control by 1922. Under the Soviet Union era, the central government exercised tight and sometimes brutal political and economic control. One of the many negative outcomes in Ukraine was the famine-genocide in 1932–33 under Stalin (known as the Holodomor). This became an enduring and painful symbol of Soviet oppression for Ukraine. At least 3.5 million Ukrainians died, and some say it was closer to 7 million. World War II also added to the complexity and tensions, with postwar borders further entrenching Moscow’s authority over Ukrainian life. Fast-forward to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Ukraine declared independence, seeking Europe-oriented reforms and security assurances. Moscow’s reluctance to relinquish influence and Kyiv’s desire to assert sovereignty led to friction over security guarantees, energy supplies, and the status of Crimea. (Crimea is the southeast portion of Ukraine on the Black Sea.) The 2004 and 2014 uprisings in Ukraine (the Orange Revolution and the Maidan protests) crystallized a push toward European integration and further away from Moscow’s sphere of influence. Then came Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea and the resulting war in eastern Ukraine, followed by the broader invasion in 2022, which is what the world is now dealing with. Russia attempted to justify its actions, framing them as 1) protecting ethnic Russians and Russian speakers, and 2) countering NATO expansion. Ukraine frames them as illegal aggression and attacks against its sovereignty, which, of course, they are. The conflict has revived debates about history, painful interactions, security interests, and centuries of competing narratives. Although Putin is a violent and, I believe, evil man, let’s pray that he will agree to end this war and the suffering of millions of people. Let’s pray that Zelinsky and the Ukrainian people can move beyond the pain and devastation of Russia’s current aggression and, for the sake of saving many lives, be willing to negotiate a peace deal. Doing so won’t be easy when Russia is demanding some of their territory and has dealt them such pain and suffering. I’m not sure ANY peace deal will be “fair” to the Ukrainians, but the other two options may indeed be worse: their complete annihilation by Russia, or other nations entering the conflict and causing a Third World War. There may be other options I am not aware of, but the situation is certainly very complicated. Trump is a skillful negotiator. Let’s pray that God gives him wisdom and great insight as he meets with Putin. Pray with me: Father, President Trump has certainly come into the Kingdom at a precarious time in history. We believe that You have shaped and prepared him for such a time as this. Please amplify the skills You have given him and use his gifts to bring forth a breakthrough for the Ukrainian and Russian people. Give him and his team strategies that produce the outcome needed at this time. We pray that You would help the Ukrainian and Russian people recover from the incredible devastation they have suffered for these past few years. Many, many lives have been lost to both nations, and incredible damage has occurred to numerous cities and thousands of homes. War is so horrible. Use this challenging time to draw people to You, as has happened many times in history. We ask that You save millions of Ukrainians and Russians. And Father, we ask for wisdom for our government officials as they work to end crime and violence in our nation. America is reaping the fruit of great rebellion, but in Your mercy, please send an awakening and a reforming of our nation. Bring this current youth revival to greater levels very quickly, and we ask for this especially in inner cities and neighborhoods. At times, the strongholds seem insurmountable. But this is not true! You CAN save a generation, and we are asking for this. Rain down revival, we pray. All of these things we ask in the mighty name of Jesus.
