Central Bank of Iraq sales of the currency falls 10 million dollars The headquarters of the Central Bank of Iraq in Basra 25 November 2018 01:21 PM Direct sales of the Central Bank of Iraq from foreign currency, on Sunday, to 162.03 million dollars; compared to sales of 172.06 million dollars last Thursday; about 10.04 million dollars. The central bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 34 banks and one financial transfer company. The bank said the sales were the results of Monday's auction, indicating total sales totaled $ 186.11 million. Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 160.43 million, while total cash sold was estimated at $ 25.68 million. The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad is at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
