I feel it is important for you to hear this powerful message once again. The Battle Is Over the Voice We are living in a history-making hour on the earth. It is a time of great contending and yet a time of birthing revival, awakening, and reformation! I heard the Lord say He is taking His church out of Survival into Revival! Isaiah 60:1-3 promises us that in times of great darkness in the earth God will cause His glory to shine upon His people, initiating the greatest harvest the earth has ever seen. Revival is at hand! Yet, in Isaiah 37:3 Hezekiah declared, “for the children are come to birth and there is no strength to bring forth.” This prophecy was given to King Hezekiah, a righteous king who was a reformer of a nation, turning Judah back to God. He was faithful to the Lord, yet his city, Jerusalem, had become besieged by the King of Assyria, Sennacherib, and was faced with certain destruction if God didn’t intervene. (Much as we face in America today.) Sennacherib was one of the cruelest conquerors in history, leaving terror in his wake of destruction. It is about him that Isaiah wrote, as a prophetic word of encouragement, “no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment you shall condemn” (Isaiah 54:17). The Rabshakeh Assignment In my book, “Declarations for Breakthrough” I relate a dream I had in which a spiritual assignment was sent against a godly leader and reformer. The enemy’s name was Rabshakeh and he was coming to spread poison on the back of the leader and then take a rod and beat his back, driving the poison in until this reformer broke. The back represents the place of a man’s strength. The back was where Jesus was beaten so that we can receive our healing. In the dream, the enemy wanted to beat him down, afflict him with poison and destroy him. But before Rabshakeh could complete his mission of destruction, we alerted the authorities who captured him. They then led us out and put the enemy’s rod in our hands to beat his back instead! What does this dream have to do with the story of the besiegement of Jerusalem? It turns out that Rabshakeh was also the name of the emissary of Sennacherib, his mouthpiece, sent to demoralize God’s people with his words, trying to get them to give up, lay down their weapons and surrender the city. He tried to convince Hezekiah and his leaders that God had forsaken them and would not save them. Rabshakeh’s name means “chief prince,” and represents a demonic assignment against believers, leaders, and even nations today. He was the voice of Sennacherib, or if you will, the voice of the devil. He sought to get into the minds of God’s people, tried to define the narrative, beating them down by relentlessly filling the atmosphere with lies. Rabshakeh’s voice filled the air with accusations against who God is, against the leaders, and about the impossibility of their situation. He was spreading poison through the sound of his voice and trying to get in their heads so that they would be worn down and give up. Don’t let the enemy get in your head! There is a relentless demonic voice that is trying to talk believers out of their divine assignments. The voice of the enemy will try to convince you that all your prayers and decrees have been for nothing and that in the end, God will not do what He said. The voice of the enemy will try to wear you down with accusations, intimidations & frustrations so that all your strength to birth revival and fulfill your calling is exhausted. Rather than being a nation changer, you seek only to survive. Is it possible to be pregnant with revival and not have the strength to bring it forth? Is it possible to be pregnant with your miracle answer and it be aborted or stillborn because you give up or get so distracted with problems that you lose your focus or your faith in God? Is it possible to no longer have strength to stand for the destiny of your nation because of the mental exhaustion of contending? The Decade of Peh You see, we are living in the Hebraic year 5782. 80 is the Hebrew word “Peh” which means “mouth, speech or sound.” It represents the voice. During this decade the battle is over which voice is controlling the narrative, so it is imperative we listen for the voice of God. Psalms 29:4 declares, “the voice of the Lord is powerful.” His voice always brings victory! We must also be aware of what our own voices are saying. Are our words aligning with God’s voice? Likewise, we need to be alert to the enemy’s voice and his bombarding negativity, hopelessness, and fear. Every day we are assaulted by an antichrist barrage of words. The goal of cancel culture is to get believers, prayer warriors, and reformers to back down, break down and surrender. The battle over the voice is fueling the battle for our nation. In this tipping point moment in history, God’s ekklesia must unite to stand against this demonic attack to see righteousness and justice once again established in our land by releasing our voice and God’s decree against all the lies of the enemy. Going From Besiegement to Breakthrough! But rather than let Rabshakeh and his poisonous words rob them of their land, Hezekiah set himself to seek the Lord and to pray. He encouraged his people with these faith-filled words: “Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles” (2 Chronicles 32:7-8). The church would do well to allow these words to encourage us during these challenging times. Hezekiah laid the accusations of the enemy on the altar and lifted his voice to God in prayer. He also sent for Isaiah the prophet, to get a Word from God for the nation. This is the synergy that comes when godly government, prayer, and the prophetic anointing create a dynamic for breakthrough. Isaiah told Hezekiah the Lord had heard his prayers; He would defend the city and save their nation! He then released a prophetic word of breakthrough that sounded impossible, declaring God would fight for them. That night God sent one angel who wiped out 185,000 Assyrians! Rabshakeh and Sennacherib both returned to their own country, only to be killed by their own people. God fought for Judah! Dedicated prayer, powerful prophecy, and anointed decrees shifted the battle and brought heavenly intervention! Victory was manifested as God mobilized the angel armies to overthrow the enemy. As we position ourselves just as Hezekiah did, setting ourselves to seek the Lord, hear His voice, and put our trust in Him to fight for us, we will see every voice of the accuser struck down, every besiegement destroyed and everything stolen returned in abundance. Hezekiah’s name means “Jehovah is my strength.” In this time of contending, God will restore our strength physically, emotionally, and spiritually so we can fulfill our divine assignment. The Voice of the Lord Shatters the Enemy! If you recall at the end of my dream, the rod of punishment that the enemy, Rabshakeh sought to use against the leader was instead used on his own back! The Lord turned the evil the enemy meant against the reformer back on his own head! Isaiah also prophesied about this. His word is part of God’s battle strategy for us today in order to break out of the survival of besiegement, into revival for a new day: “The Voice of the Lord will shatter the Assyrian (your enemy), with His scepter He will strike him down. Every stroke the Lord lays on the back of the enemy with His punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps as he fights him in battle with the blows of His arm!” (Isaiah 30:3; NIV) So rise up reformers! Be strong, people of God! Seek the Lord and hear His voice. Shake off every chain of discouragement and fear, resist Rabshakeh’s voice from getting in your head, and the voice of the Lord will shatter your enemy! ********************** Pray with me: Lord, let Your voice be louder than the voice of the enemy, for Your words are life to me. I submit myself to You, I resist the enemy and he must flee. I evict every lie and draw upon Your supernatural strength to sustain me and give me victory in every battle. In Jesus’ name. Our decree: The voice of the Lord will shatter the enemy. Though He is love, He is most certainly also a warrior. And Holy Spirit wants to awaken His warrior heart in us, the Ekklesia. As the Lion of Judah, Yeshua wants to roar from us. “The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” (Joel 3:16; KJV) Holy Spirit gave my friend, Scott Reece, a powerful word regarding this: “There is an aligning among My lions that will usher in a new shift in the earth. Powers will shift, authority will shift and ungodly rulers will be unseated. “I am making room for those that are righteous to rule in the land. Angel armies have been assembled for the purposes of strategic warfare. They will usher in a wave of a godly generation that will hold the standard, even against the darkest nights. This is a generation unlike any other. The cry of My people in desperate times has activated a warfare strategy that will catch the enemy sleeping and off guard. The hallowed halls of men’s political achievements will be shaken to the core and those very halls will reverberate with a sound of worship and righteousness. “You will witness a breaking down of the political divide and see the establishment of a righteous government, a government that will demonstrate the very power of men and women holding a righteous scepter in their hands. You will see a governmental body that will actually stop and pray before a vote is held in order to ascertain My heart. The podium will be used for godly leaders crying out together in faith, as opposed to arguing, defending unrighteousness, offending My heavens, and shutting off the land from My purposes. “The foundation of this alignment will be laid by My apostles and prophets. The aligning will be a source of activation, release, and unity among my Ekklesia. Do not become distracted by the lying whimpers of the enemy. Do not become discouraged by divisive methodologies designed to deter you. “Set your heart in alignment with My word and My purposes. Align with those apostolic and prophetic voices I am raising up in the land. You will hear different roars with different anointings, but as they align, you will see clearly that I am in the midst of the roar and My voice is at the center. My Word is emerging as a new wine that is being poured out.” What a powerful and encouraging word. Holy Spirit is roaring through our prayers. The Bible speaks not only of God’s people roaring, but also of releasing a battle cry. Psalm 47 tells us: “O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy. For the Lord Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth. He subdues peoples under us and nations under our feet…God has ascended with a shout, The Lord, with the sound of a trumpet.” (Psalm 47:1-3,5; NASB) Shout is the Hebrew word rua. The word describes a war cry, a shout of victory over one’s enemy on the battlefield. It was also used for “blowing” the shofar before a battle; one definition is “to split the ears with sound.” Mel Gibson’s rendition of William Wallace in Braveheart comes to mind: “FREEDOM!!!!!” The word is translated “sound the alarm” in Joel 2:1. In this context, it means “we’re going to war.” The passage in Psalm 47 tells us if we are willing to lift a rua and fight, God will begin to shout with us (verse 5): He “ascends with a shout.” And as God arises, His enemies are scattered (Psalm 68:1). They flee before Him! My point is quite simple: There is “a time for war and a time for peace” (Ecclesiastes 3:8; NASB). There is a time to shout, roar and FIGHT. And though the warfare I speak of is spiritual it must be no less intense. Our spiritual warfare, through prayer, will determine the eternal destiny of billions of people. Our battle is to relieve the suffering of millions. We must pray with passion, fervency, and faith. Perhaps you should consider finding a private place and raising your voice at the demonic assault in Ukraine. Consider going to your basement and rua-ing over your unsaved family member, a deceived friend, or a demonic government. A shout of war is just as terrifying to the ears of demons as it is to human soldiers on a battlefield. Don’t let your dignity silence your roar. When Jesus said “It is finished” (John 19.30) at the end of His time on the Cross, He did not quietly whisper those words, as is often thought. It was actually one word, and He shouted it! (Matthew 27:50) Nor was Christ referring to His death, as many think. Jesus shouted the word tetelestai if He chose to use the Greek word John gives us. However, He spoke both Greek and Hebrew, and was quoting from Psalm 22:31 when He made this announcement. If He actually used the Hebrew word from that verse, it would still have only been one word, asah. Either word would have been a declaration that Christ had finished the assignment given Him. The Greek word actually meant “to pay a debt in full.” The Hebrew word is also the word for “creating” something. Perhaps Jesus was announcing the new creation! We do know that when Christ made this declaration, the ground shook, rocks split and people were raised from the dead (Matthew 27:50-53). His words rent the heavens, shook the earth, and broke the power of death. Now He wants to speak through you. Declare His finished work over your situation. Decree His victory over the nations. Read Psalm 2 out loud over America, Ukraine, the Middle East. Shout “asah” over unsaved family members, your sick body, your checkbook. Release the roar! Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your encouraging word through Scott. Thank You for hearing and using our prayers. We are not just accomplishing a religious exercise when we intercede. To the contrary, it still works. You use our prayers to bring forth Your plans in the earth. And we know that at times this requires spiritual warfare. We must bind and loose (Matthew 16:18-19). We must wrestle; we must fight. And yet, we also know that when we do this, we are not defeating satan, we are enforcing his defeat at Calvary. Jesus paid the debt for our freedom in full. He delivered us from the authority of darkness, and we now enforce this victory in His name. We release healing in our bodies. We break deception off of those blinded by sin. We release the winds of revival around the world. We declare that even though satan is on a rampage to steal, kill and destroy, the power of Holy Spirit is coming to the nations of the earth with a massive revival. We release all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen. He it is who reduces rulers to nothing, who makes the judges of the earth meaningless. Scarcely have they been planted, scarcely have they been sown, scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth, but He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the storm carries them away like stubble. ‘To whom then will you liken Me that I would be his equal?’ says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing.” (Isaiah 40:22-26; NASB) “Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and said, ‘I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; the horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will extol Him. The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is His name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; and the choicest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea. The deeps cover them; they went down into the depths like a stone. Your right hand, O Lord, is majestic in power, Your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy. And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You; You send forth Your burning anger, and it consumes them as chaff. At the blast of Your nostrils the waters were piled up, the flowing waters stood up like a heap; the deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.’ “The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be gratified against them; I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy them.’ “You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters. “Who is like You among the gods, O Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders? You stretched out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them.” (Exodus 15:1-12; NASB) These are two great passages describing God’s awesome power. The passage from Exodus is what the Israelites sang after He delivered them from Egypt and conquered Egypt’s god of wind and the sea, Baal-Zephon. We are in the process of seeing this spirit overthrown again, this time in America. We have done several posts revealing him as the strongman over the U.S. But God has said He is breaking the hold of this principality off of America, and re-establishing Christ’s rule and purpose in our land. Of course, the issue has never been power - no evil spirit could ever overpower God - the issue has been the authority we have granted this spirit through our sin and rebellion. God is spoken of in scripture as a Warrior. Yes, His nature is love (1John 4:8) and His mercies endure forever (Psalm 118). But when necessary, God is a fierce and undefeatable warrior. For the most part, the church does not consider this aspect of His nature. We have lost sight of it primarily because our warfare is not visible or natural; it is not against individuals. Rather, it is an invisible and spiritual war; our weapons are spiritual, as well. Nonetheless, though our battle is spiritual, it is very real. And we must allow God to awaken His warrior heart in us. The war on earth for the souls of men and women, and for control over regions of the world is raging. Satan is ruthless in this war, always wanting to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Second Corinthians 10:3-4 speaks of our spiritual war: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds…”(KJV). Ephesians 6:12 also speaks of the battle in which we are engaged: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (KJV). Failing to understand or acknowledge this spiritual war is to lose by default. How do we release our spiritual power, our spiritual weapons and authority in this spiritual war? We do so primarily with our words. When Jesus was confronted by satan, He provided our example of how to war against the devil and his spiritual forces: “It is written!” (Matthew 4:1-11). God’s Word is the most powerful force on earth. With it He creates, releases life, tears down and builds up. And Holy Spirit tells us that His word in our mouth (Greek: rhema: “spoken words”) is a sword against satan and his demons (Ephesians 6:17). When we speak God’s words in spiritual war, they are an overpowering weapon, a sword; leaving them unsaid leaves our sword in its scabbard. When we are fearful or tempted to fear, we should speak God’s word that promises freedom from fear. When we are sick, we should speak promises that relate to healing. When we are in turmoil and unrest, we should speak verses of scripture regarding peace. And when we see satan stealing, killing, and destroying, we should speak and declare God‘s word regarding deliverance and salvation over the situation. Release the sword! Heaven’s will does not automatically occur on the earth. We are the instruments and vessels God uses to operate on this planet. One way He does so is through prayer, including decrees. The church has failed tremendously in understanding this, which has caused much harm to us and frustration to the cause of Christ. There are many biblical references to support this fact, one of them simply being “you have not because you ask not” (James 4:2). Certainly, there are other principles which govern how and for what we can ask, but some things are not received simply because we fail to ask for them. Let’s ask now! Pray with me: Father, awaken the Ekklesia to Your warrior nature. There is no contradiction between the fact that You are love and are also a warrior. You heal, but You also destroy evil. When necessary, You are fierce. You experience anger, even hatred - You hate evil, oppression, the destruction of innocent people, and all that satan does. We ask You to wage war against the powers of evil in Ukraine. We ask You to do so in Afghanistan. We ask You to do so against the demonic powers that kill babies. We ask You to save those involved in these evils; we do not wish them harm. But we do hate what they do, and we ask You to cause it to end. Do something supernatural to stop this senseless war in Ukraine. Almost 2,000,000 people are now homeless, refugees. Please end this, and send salvation to them, both spiritually and physically. Make satan pay once again. Send unprecedented revival to Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Afghanistan, and the Middle East. And we pray regarding the Dobbs abortion case. Move on the Supreme Court to reverse Roe versus Wade. Save the Justices who do not know You and deliver them from deception. We ask that those who have opposed You will become champions for You and for life. We bind demonic spirits of deception that keep them blinded to truth and the gospel, in Jesus’ name, amen (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/march-9-2022 March 9, 2022 Heaven is Warring with Us An allegory is “a representation of an abstract or spiritual meaning through concrete or material forms; figurative treatment of one subject under the guise of another” (Dictionary.com). The use of a plow to break up hard or fallow ground in scripture is an example of this. Hosea 10:12 tells us: “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness upon you.” (KJV) Intercessors “turn up” the soil of a heart or nation with their intercession. Our friend Gina Gholston was given a fascinating dream picturing this: ********************* “My daddy was a farmer and was country to the core, even using mules to plow his garden. I have watched him walk behind the plow as it turned up dirt, preparing the ground to receive seeds that would eventually yield a harvest. Dad taught me that there were different plows for different needs, one being a turning plow. This plow would dig deep. No rock or clod of clay could resist its strength as it moved through the ground exposing and uprooting. With the turning plow in use, nothing would hinder the planting and growth of the garden. “Last year God gave me a dream where I saw a giant turning plow sitting in front of the U.S. Capitol Building. The dream is too long and detailed to share in this post, but it can be read in its entirety in my book Dreams of Awakening. In this dream, God showed me hundreds of intercessors, who were ‘plowing’ across the nation. Some were holding the handle directing the plow and keeping it on course. Others were actually pulling the plow toward the West. The blade of this ‘turning’ plow dug deep, causing the ground to split open ahead of us like a ripe watermelon. The split went all the way to the West Coast, and beyond. We quickly realized the plow was breaking open and exposing an underground tunnel, where major demon activity had been secretly operating. As the tunnel was exposed, thousands of demons, armed with small daggers, began to boil out of the ground like a swarm of angry, vicious wasps in an attempt to defend their hiding place. But reinforcements were near. Along with the intercessors traveled a massive host of angels with huge swords. They were on assignment to accompany and fight alongside them. It was as if a war was taking place as they plowed. However, the plowing was almost effortless, and the hosts of Heaven were fighting for them, easily destroying the demons. “There are many more details to the dream I haven’t shared here but, in the end, the intercessors finished their assignment and ‘plowed’ across the entire United States. Upon their arrival at the West Coast shore, they turned to look back toward the East from where they had come expecting to see a huge mess. To their surprise, however, they saw that the nation was completely whole. In fact, they heard the land singing the old hymn, ‘It is well with my soul.’ “What we see happening in our nation today cannot be understood with only the natural mind; it is spiritual in nature. For years, evil agendas have been working undercover through covert means, in an ultimate attempt to remove God’s truth and extinguish the light of Christ in this nation. Principalities and hordes of demonic spirits have made relentless efforts to dismantle our righteous foundation and destroy God’s purposes. But their attempts will not succeed and hell’s agenda will fail! The ‘turning’ has begun. We have now moved into the fulfillment of the prophesied Great Awakening that will bring change to the spiritual, governmental, and social landscape of America. “Be assured that the awakening revival of which we speak is not a reaction on the part of God against what hell is doing, nor an attempt being made by Him in hopes of combating hell’s operations. God is in no way reacting to the evil in America; satan is not calling the shots. Holy Spirit is not spending His time and efforts putting out the devil’s rebellious and evil fires. The Awakening now unfolding was determined long before satan’s plans began. “God’s prophetic declaration in the Garden of Eden rings loudly in the ears of satan on a daily basis: ‘I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel,’ (Genesis 3:15). Jesus came, just as God said, and His finished work on the cross—His death, burial, and resurrection—was for the purpose of destroying the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Ephesians 1:22 tells us that God has put all things under Jesus’ feet. Jesus is the head of the body, which is the church. As the body of Christ on earth, He has put all things under our feet. Paul declares that God is going to use our feet to crush satan (Romans 16:20). “Victory belongs to Jesus, and His victory has become our victory. God’s plan is moving forward, and as Christ’s ambassadors, we stand with confidence in our Savior and His assured victory. As the standing Ekklesia, we are putting pressure on satan, ‘bruising his head’ as a reminder of his eternal defeat. “Though it may have seemed for a time that satan’s plan was being successful, the truth is, his plan is actually unraveling. God’s people have found their ‘voice,’ and we are taking our place in a posture of prayer and obedience to God. The cover-up of satan’s agenda is being removed as God’s plan of the ages is unfolding: ‘And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,’ (Isaiah 40:5). The land is preparing its song of victory, ‘It is well with my soul,’ as the healing power of God is administered to bring things back into His order. “The time of turning has come! Keep plowing. Keep praying. Keep believing. God’s plan has been set in motion. Be assured of the good work that God began in His people and in America, He is faithful, able, and determined to complete it!” ***************** I’ve shared posts for the past two days about finishing our assignment to turn America. Let’s persevere..! Pray with me: Father, we acknowledge and decree that You alone are God. America is one nation under You. Though the prophetic purposes of our nation seemed to have been fading into the shadows of an ungodly culture, Your eyes have searched and found within Your Ekklesia, hearts that are completely Yours. Through us, You will now show Yourself strong! With demonstrations of Your love and might, You will bring an undeniable awakening and awareness of Your presence that will bring change to the nation. As Your intercessors, we put our hand to the plow. We declare that every plot and scheme of the enemy is being uncovered, and the hosts of Heaven will be loosed on the earth to destroy every work of darkness. What has been sent by hell to discourage Your people and to stop Your plans for America will be overturned, and Your Glory will be revealed. Your verdict has been made and it cannot be overruled! We stand in faith and agreement with You now to declare that verdict: “America shall be saved!” In the name and authority of our victorious King Jesus, we pray..! Amen..! Yesterday we talked about a remnant of Israelites under the leadership of Zerubbabel, the governor, and Joshua, the high priest, returning to Jerusalem from decades of captivity in Babylon. Their first responsibility was to rebuild God’s temple. King Cyrus had allowed them to return and even helped raise the funds to do the rebuilding as well as returning all the temple’s articles of silver and gold which Nebuchadnezzar had stolen – 54000 of them. This returning remnant rebuilt the foundation of the temple and then held a massive celebration service. The celebrating was short-lived, however. Opposition came from neighboring people who hired anti-Yahweh lobbyists to spread rumors or spoil the king’s thinking. The remnant of Israel became fearful and discouraged. Rather than trust God to sort things out and continue giving them favor, they stopped work on the temple for 16 years. For 16 years all they had accomplished for God’s house – the temple – was to pour a slab. Of course, during this time they had built their own homes and businesses. Finally, God had enough of their complacency and raised up a prophet, Haggai, to deliver His message to them. “On the first day of the sixth month of the second year in the reign of King Darius of Persia, God’s message was delivered by the prophet Haggai to the governor of Judah, Zerubbabel, and to the high priest, Joshua. ‘God of the angel armies says: ‘The people procrastinate. They say this is not the right time to rebuild My temple, the temple of God.’ 'Shortly after that, God said more and Haggai spoke it: ‘How is it that it is the right time for you to live in your fine homes while Mine is in ruins?’ 'And then a little later, God of the angel armies spoke out yet again: ‘Take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over. You’ve spent a lot of money, but you haven’t much to show for it. You keep filling your plates, but you never get filled up. You keep drinking and drinking and drinking, but you are always thirsty. You put on layer after layer of clothes, but you can’t get warm. That’s why God of the angel armies said take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over.’ ‘Then God said: ‘Here is what I want you to do. Climb into the hills and cut some timber. Bring it down and rebuild the temple. Do it just for Me. Honor Me. You’ve had great ambitions for yourselves but nothing has come of it. The little you have brought to My temple, I have blown away. There was nothing to it. And why? Because while you have run around caught up with taking care of your own house, My home is in ruins. That’s why. Because of your stinginess. And so I’ve given you a dry summer and a meager crop. I’ve matched your tight-fisted stinginess by decreeing a season of drought, drying up fields and hills, withering gardens and orchards, stunting vegetables, and fruit. Nothing—not man or woman, not animal or crop—is going to thrive.” ‘Then the governor, Zerubbabel , Joshua the high priest, and all the people with them listened, really listened, to the voice of their God. When God sent the prophet Haggai to them, they paid attention to him. In listening to Haggai, they honored God. ‘Then Haggai, God’s messenger, preached God’s message to the people: 'I am with you!’” (Haggai 1:1-14) When the people responded appropriately to God’s words, He was quick to respond with grace and favor. It wasn’t really those in opposition to God that were His problem. He was able to deal with them. What He needed was a people of faith who would not bow to fear, discouragement or self-centeredness. When they were able to shake free from these things, God favored them once again and said “I am with you! Let’s go!” A month later, Haggai prophesied again: “'Tell Governor Zerubbabel and High Priest Joshua and all the people: ‘Is there anyone here who saw the Temple the way it used to be, all glorious? And what do you see now? Not much, right? “‘So get to work, Zerubbabel!’ “‘Get to work, Joshua—high priest!’ “‘Get to work, all you people!’ “‘Yes, get to work! For I am with you. Put into action the word I covenanted with you when you left Egypt. I’m living and breathing among you right now. Don’t be timid. Don’t hold back.’ ‘Before you know it, I will shake up sky and earth, ocean and fields. And I’ll shake down all the godless nations. They’ll bring bushels of wealth and I will fill this Temple with splendor.’ ‘I own the silver, I own the gold.’ “‘This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out, a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish: a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.” (Haggai 2:1-9) I have felt for quite some time that many in the church of America have grown weary in their prayers for revival and the turning around of our nation. Evil lobbyists, media opposition, inappropriate laws, intimidating government agencies, elections that don’t go our way, evil politicians. Satan has used these and more to try and wear us down. Consequently, many have done just what these Israelites did - decided it must not be time for our turnaround and that when God is ready, He’ll do it. God, however, needs us to persevere in our faith and prayers. He does not want us to pull away from this holy assignment of turning our nation back to Him through a sweeping revival. We must not be intimidated. We must not bow to slander, threats or complacency. We must stay the course! I keep hearing the words of my friend and co-laborer, Don Lynch, who moved to heaven a couple weeks ago. I posted a portion of a message he recently gave where he prophesied the word of the Lord to the praying church. “You must finish this!” he said. “Finish this! Finish this!” And so we must. We must finish this assignment of turning America back to God. We must pray and decree God’s words until revival is burning uncontrollably in America and then around the world. We must let nothing – wars, threats, fear, discouragement, setbacks, unbelief – we must let nothing stop us. Finish this..! Pray with me: Father, You have begun a good work in our nation. You have added apostles and prophets to the leadership of the church. You have raised up intercessors and a remnant of people who are determined to see revival in America. We are determined to see America turn back to You and accomplish all You have destined for her. We are determined to see righteousness in our government once again. We are determined to see the young generation of Americans come to know You. We are determined to see world-wide revival - at least a billion souls. We will not stop with a foundation. We will not yield to any opposition. We will not yield to fear, confusion, unbelief, discouragement, or selfishness. We will finish this! We WILL finish this! Raise up Haggai’s in our day with Your words. Stir the hearts of Your people. Stir up those whose hearts once burned with fire for revival and breakthrough yet who now have settled for less. Stir up pastors who have chosen to settle for less than the fires of revival. Stir up intercessors who have allowed the fire to go out. Awaken us all to Your passion in this hour. May there be a roar of intercession that is released in this nation and the nations of the earth. We ask You, rend the heavens and come down! We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/march-7-2022 March 7, 2022 A Lesson from Ezra As the book of Ezra opens, Cyrus, king of Persia, has allowed a remnant of Israelites to return to Jerusalem for the purpose of rebuilding their Temple. Seventy years prior, because of their apostasy, God had allowed Israel to be taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. Later, they came under the rule of Cyrus when he conquered Babylon. God then moved upon the heart of Cyrus, a pagan and idolatrous king, to permit this return. He even stirred the king’s heart to help them raise the needed funds for the rebuild (see Ezra 1:1-4). Also, King Cyrus turned over to them all the vessels and utensils Nebuchadnezzar had plundered from the Temple and placed in the temple of his gods. These articles totaled 5400 gold and silver pieces. That’s pretty incredible. A remnant returned to Jerusalem under Zerubbabel’s leadership and began work on the Temple. Ezra tells us: “When the workers laid the foundation of The Temple of God, the priests in their robes stood up with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise God in the tradition of David…All the people boomed out hurrahs, praising God as the foundation of The Temple of God was laid. As many were noisily shouting with joy, many of the older priests, Levites, and family heads who had seen the first Temple, when they saw the foundations of this Temple laid, wept loudly… People couldn’t distinguish the shouting from the weeping. The sound of their voices reverberated for miles around.” (Ezra 3:10-13; MSG) It has always intrigued me that many Israelites - the young ones - shouted for joy so loudly that it could be heard for miles, while some of the older ones wept. We are left to wonder why the older folks wept. I suppose it could have been joyful weeping because the restoration was beginning. Or maybe they were remembering the pain of the Babylonian captivity with its tragic losses. They could have been reflecting on the former glory of the Temple and mourning the present state of Ichabod (“the glory has departed”). Or were they, with their wiser perspective that comes from age, considering the reality of just how far away they were from the Temple’s full restoration? I also think it’s possible they were lamenting the apostasy that created the former Temple’s destruction. We are never told the reason. Personally, I believe a good guess would be all of the above, a mix of emotions. One thing is certain: their perspective was different. There is one more thing that is certain about the celebration which took place that day: it was a bit premature. Satan had plans for the project, also. Daniel 7:25 tells us he attempts to altar “times and laws.” The Hebrew word used for time in this verse means an appointed time; the word for laws can mean, among other things, the decree of a king. Daniel 2:21 says God changes times and seasons. He also decrees His good plans and purposes for us, both in His written Word and through prophetic words. However, the verse in Daniel 7:25 tells us satan tries to alter those times and decrees. He obviously can’t do so by overpowering or outwitting God; he does so by attacking God’s instruments - us. Daniel 7:25 also reveals that one of the ways satan attempts to alter times and decrees is by “wearing down” the saints. The Hebrew word this is taken from is never used in scripture to describe physical fatigue, only mental and emotional weariness. Satan attempts to wear us down, causing us to grow weary (literally: “lose heart”) in our efforts (Galatians 6:9). Fear, discouragement, lack of endurance, hope-deferred, and other emotional responses attack our faith and can cause us to lose heart. This then, can alter our God-appointed times. It did so for this remnant of Israelites in Ezra’s day. Satan went to work through other people in the region: “So these people started beating down the morale of the people of Judah, harassing them as they built. They even hired propagandists to sap their resolve. They kept this up for about fifteen years, throughout the lifetime of Cyrus king of Persia and on into the reign of Darius king of Persia.” (Ezra 4:4-5; MSG) These propagandists, or “counselors” as other translations refer to them, were basically lobbyists. They were individuals hired and sent to the king with accusations and misinformation to try and hinder the plans of the Israelites. They succeeded in planting concerns in him that, once the Israelites rebuilt their temple, they would rebel from his rule and cause great problems in his kingdom. The Israelites, rather than remaining strong and trusting God to help them overcome this, yielded to fear and discouragement. The result? The building stopped for 16 years. All they had was a foundation. During this time, the Israelites began building their own homes and businesses, while abandoning God’s house. They justified this by saying it must not yet be God‘s appointed time for the Temple to be rebuilt. Opposition, however, should never be allowed to determine what we believe to be God‘s will. Nor should it be something used to judge whether or not it is His appointed time to do something. Many believers in America today have made the same mistake. They’ve grown weary in their prayers for revival and the turning around of our nation. Evil lobbyists, media opposition, inappropriate laws, intimidating government agencies, elections that don’t go our way - satan has used these and more to try and wear us down. Consequently, many have done just what these Israelites did - decided it must not be time for our turnaround and that, when God is ready, He will do it. Pray with me: Father, we do not intend to allow satan to alter Your timing for our breakthroughs and the turnaround of our great nation. We WILL see the revival You have planned for here and in the nations of the earth. We will not spend the next 40 years dying in the wilderness, while You wait for a generation that is willing and obedient. We will NOT! We know it is time. We will not allow opposition to steal from us what You have ordained. We ask for an infusion of strength and hope. We ask that mental fatigue and emotional weariness be broken off of the praying church, the remnant. Send a wind of Holy Spirit to us now, we pray. Give the infusion of strength You speak of in Isaiah 40. Renew our strength like eagles are renewed. We speak to weariness and say, “Go!” We speak to hope-deferred and say, “Go!” We speak to fear and say, “Go, in Jesus name!” And Father, we continue to pray for the people of Ukraine. We ask You to end this evil war. We ask for an abundance of grace to be on the Ukrainian people. We ask You to stop Putin and his evil attacks. Remove him from power! Please send revival to Ukraine and raise up an army of believers there. Help them to not only rebuild that nation, but be used by You to carry revival all throughout Europe. And we remember the church in Afghanistan. Empower them to serve You faithfully and powerfully in this difficult hour. Give them great fruit for their labors. Protect them, we pray. Release your judgment against the evil there and may a great revival emanate from Afghanistan into the entire region. Turn the tables on the devil! We ask all of these things in Christ’s name. We believers withdrew from government and education, failed to teach our children the ways of God, the history of our nation and how our government was designed to work. When Holy Spirit sent revival in the 70s we focused on Christ’s return, not on reforming America and “occupying” until He comes. In doing so, we handed over to demonic forces our government, education, media and entertainment. As my wise spiritual father, Jim Hodges, once told me, “It is a lot easier to do something than to undo it.” As I pondered Tuesday night‘s State of the Union address, I could not help but think how far we have fallen. If not for the grace and covenantal mercy of God, and the plan He has to use America in His great, coming revival, we would completely collapse as a force in the earth. We would perhaps even be destroyed. However, you know my belief and heart: God has a plan to reverse this and “America shall be saved!” Rather than write a response to the State of the Union address, I have chosen to share the response written by Frank Amedia of POTUS Shield. He is very bold in his comments but I believe speaks truth. ********************** “This morning I was requested by Charisma to provide my assessment of President Biden's State of the Union Address last evening. To be clear, I continue to pray and promote prayer and intercession for our President, and likewise for our nation, the Supreme Court and pending nomination, and all of the important issues before us as a people of God. However, I cannot, we cannot, be silent as to the inept leadership which is having severe consequences on our nation and future. “My comments are influenced by my education as a political scientist, as well as my 40 years of teaching scripture. I could rant on with details that dissect the State of the Union address to our nation last evening, but given the assignment to be brief, here it is generally: “From my perspective, President Biden's speech, from beginning to end, was delusional and tainted with hypocrisy. “The tactic by President Biden's speechwriters to play on emotions with spirited praise of the Ukraine President and Ukrainians for fighting to the death, while attempting to appear to be courageous in the face of Putin in a manner that Putin himself scoffs at, was both expected and distasteful. My eyes teared up as I watched the Ukrainian ambassador called out to stand and wave her little flag, while her spirit cried out for help and she appeared visibly scared and helpless. The horrific images of women, children, men, and youth dying and suffering in Ukraine overshadowed the theatrical posturing of the staged actors in the Capitol auditorium. The fact is that President Biden and the NATO leaders cowered under the Goliath-like taunting of a ruthless and calculated dictator, and elected to sacrifice Ukraine on the altar of geopolitical economics, literally fueled by oil and gas. “Mr. Biden has been and is leading from behind. The list of mishaps and misguided decisions continues to mount. It is evident by sheer empirical facts, that he and his administration are inept at handling a myriad of serious problems. Mr. Biden attempted to present that the border was in control while behind him at his right hand, peering over his shoulder, was his appointed border czar, VP Kamala Harris, who by almost everyone's standards has been missing in action. The fact is that in one year, we have become a nation without effective borders. “Behind him and on his left side, was Speaker Pelosi who carefully staged her reactions throughout the speech, stumbling out of her chair at times and coming off as a dated cheerleader who did not know the score and that her team was losing. “This is the state of our country today...Essentially, good is being relegated to evil, and evil is promoted as good. Crime is rampant, murder rates are soaring, police are being shot, prosecutors are deciding not to prosecute and are releasing criminals back into society. Good stewardship practices are at best sorely lacking, if not intentionally discarded. Inflation is out of control and getting worse, while delivery of goods is delayed as if we are a third world country; and the cost of goods is ratcheting up daily. “Yet, we are expected (by our President) to ignore reality and believe that the Green New Deal will create millions of jobs, pump trillions of dollars into the marketplace, and rescue us from the spiraling decay of our economy. He failed to even acknowledge the present fact that we are no longer independent regarding the production of fossil fuels, while our nation and the world purchase lower-grade fuels from countries who have no regard at all for clean energy. “And then came the ultimate breach of leadership as regards the moral fiber of our country - and also the worst kind of hypocrisy - Mr. Biden's appeal that the health and welfare of women must be safeguarded by maintaining Roe vs. Wade, and by continuing the infanticide of our unborn children. Now over 60 million voices of unborn children, who never breathed on earth, are echoing in the halls of heaven for the murder to stop. Our gracious Lord has given us an opportunity now to reverse this curse, with a Supreme Court that Mr. Biden wants to influence otherwise. On November 9, 2016, I released this Word of the Lord: ‘President Trump will have occasion to appoint one, yes two, yes three new Supreme Court Justices in his first season. Tell the lawyers, tell my activists, to begin their cases in the lower courts. And when they make their way to the Supreme Court, I will change this law of the land.’ The fate of our Nation is to be determined therein. “And as to the state of our Union: at present, the American Executive Branch is likened to a ship piloted by a captain that does not know where the rudder is. The captain is surrounded by shipmates that would rather promote their personal and globalist agendas than honorably steady the wayward vessel and advise the delusional captain with veracity and ‘country-first’ hearts. ‘Come Lord Jesus’ will intensify as a cry of deliverance here in the United States from the Body of Christ in the remaining years of this Presidency. “Our Lord is sovereign and the next chapters of the Russian/Ukraine/World system are still to be seen. We believe in miracles and that is our prayer for the present-day holocaust unfolding upon common people, simply wanting to live in a democracy in Ukraine. All of the noise aside, that is reality.” ******************** Pray with me: Father, we continue to cry out for our nation and other nations around the world. We once again ask You to forgive our land for rejecting You, Your word, Your ways, and Your destiny for us. We have mocked You, maligned you, and dishonored You. But as You did repeatedly with Israel, You are coming to America with covenantal mercy and restoration. We will see our destiny restored and Your purposes fulfilled. We declare over America the healing of our land, earth shaking revival, and the salvation of millions of people. We also pray for the nations of the earth. Jesus, Lord of the harvest, send laborers. Send incredible miracles. Raise up powerful voices of prophetic evangelism. May we see the book of Acts on steroids. Father, glorify Your Son, Yeshua, and in His name do incredible and amazing things around the world. We agree with Your word - the nations are His. He is Lord and King. And once again, we pray for Ukraine. Have mercy on this people, we pray. End this horrible war and judge the wicked. Expose corruption, and send great revival to Ukraine, Russia, and all of Europe. And we pray for the reversal of Roe versus Wade. Break the hold of the principality that has ruled our nation for 60 years, doing so through the shedding of innocent blood. Cleanse our land. Give us love for life once again as a nation. All life - including the innocent unborn. We ask all of these things in the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus. Amen. Some are saying that because of evil in Ukraine, past and present, we should side with Russia and Putin…that God is using them to judge Ukraine. Others are including statements regarding the Bidens and others’ connections to Ukraine as reasons “God is doing this.” Still others point to liberal media members and government leaders supporting Ukraine as proof that we conservatives and/or believers should oppose them. I saw one post that actually used Zelensky’s past and roles he played as an actor to “prove” he is evil and that Ukraine is being judged. It is certainly true that God uses difficult times to awaken people. One need look no farther than the prodigal son. God is good. He doesn’t want our pain wasted, and is determined to bring good from it, when allowed to. Again, we can see this in the prodigal’s suffering. God may indeed use what is occurring in Ukraine to bring repentance and cleansing to them. It could even be a prelude to awakening - hard times sometimes are. He may use the war to expose corruption in their government. But does this mean God is causing the devastation? Did He motivate Putin to destroy Ukrainians, in order to judge or correct an unruly nation? Should we back off in our condemnation of Putin and assume the Ukrainians had it coming, as some are suggesting? Or, should our mindset be that even if God did not “cause” the war, He “allowed” it because of their sin and, therefore, we should ignore what is taking place…watch it with indifference? These assertions are frightening, to say the least. God loves the people of Ukraine, including unbelievers, and wants to bring a great revival to them, not calamity, starvation, destruction and war. He came to heal and save, not destroy. And where sin is concerned, Ukraine is certainly no more wicked than America. We have killed more babies, are just as immoral, have blatantly mocked and turned from God, lead the world in exporting pornography and filth, and millions of Americans have voted into office evil, antichrist leaders just as corrupt as any in Ukraine. Why would God rain down horrendous punishment on them and not America? And judging Ukraine because of its corrupted leaders? Why not Russia instead of Ukraine? Putin, like numerous past Russian leaders, is murderous, evil, and demonized. He cares only about himself and power, not even for his own people. Biden’s weakness, poor decisions, and lack of leadership gave Putin the boldness to satisfy his depraved ambitions. But God does not want to judge the people of Russia. They, as well as the people of Ukraine, must be loved and prayed for. Most Russians don’t want what Putin wants. They’re oppressed, impoverished, hard-working people, just trying to find food and clothing for their kids. Many of them love God. Some are facing death, torture, or life in prison for protesting Putin’s actions. What is occurring in Ukraine is not a situation we should allow to be politicized, or turned into fire and brimstone preaching regarding the evils of sin. Jesus didn’t come to condemn sinners - they’re already condemned - but to save them. The war in Ukraine demands compassionate intercession - for peace, for the protection of innocent people, for Holy Spirit to be poured out there, in Russia and all of Europe. And we should be praying for the removal of wicked leaders in both Ukraine and Russia, including Vladimir Putin. God is exposing to the world just how evil he is. In 2014, a remarkable prophet now in Heaven, Kim Clement, released the following word regarding Putin and Ukraine. Could it be referring to now? ***************** “I'm prophesying right from the beginning. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to make a declaration to the nations of the earth. Now hear me out. The Spirit of God says, ‘Putin, I speak to you now. King Putin, you call yourself. Do you really believe that I raised up a king in the 80s by the name of Ronald Reagan to pull down a curtain and to destroy a wall that divided - for nothing? Did you really think I did that in vain, for you to stand and raise a wall and a curtain again? No, no! Putin, get out of My way! Get out of My way,’ says the Lord! ‘As I hardened the heart of Pharaoh for the benefit of My people, so have I hardened your heart.’ “I'm hearing a sound in my spirit. ‘For the benefit of My people, ecclesia, My church, My holy ones, My elect, and My land of Israel, I have hardened your heart, Mr. Putin. You see, I said I would lift My hand off Russia, off Russia for a season, and I did, and look what is happening. You are unbridled, King Putin. You are unbridled now, but I want you to know what I historically did to kings who took power and abused it. Ultimately, there will be freedom for the sake of My people. Oh troublemaker who would stand and terrorize the world, My world,’ says the Lord, ‘I'll put My hook in your nose and My bridle in your lips and I will turn you back by the way you came. And those who have survived and escaped will bear much fruit, much fruit,’ says the Lord. ‘That fruit shall be in Ukraine. That fruit shall be in the nations that you have encroached upon to take for your glory. I will cause a remnant to be raised up and bear much fruit for My kingdom,’ says the Lord.” (1) ****************** Pray with me: Father, we come to You in humility and yet with boldness. You said we could come to Your throne of grace and ask for mercy. We are asking You for mercy to be given to the people of Ukraine. We ask for You to use the evil that is taking place, of course. Bring any possible good from it, just as You did with the prodigal in Scripture. You were pictured by the father, who loved this wayward son, in spite of all his depravity and rebellion. Of course, we ask You to reveal any corruption in Ukraine, just as this is revealing corruption in Russia. But we know Your heart is not to steal, kill and destroy. That is the heart of satan. Your heart is to forgive and redeem. We pray that You dispatch more and more angels into that conflict. Protect the innocent and save people's lives. We pray for the Russian soldiers, most of whom probably do not want to be there and have no idea why they are. Please stop this for them, also. Send revival to Russia and Ukraine. Then send it to Eastern Europe. Then send it to all of Europe. Use this conflict, we pray. And we pray for America. Please give us leaders who know You, honor You, and are part of turning this nation back to You. Send revival to America. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/march-3-2022 March 3, 2022 Fascinating Dream Concerning the Supreme Court “When they had driven him [Stephen] out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul. They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, ‘Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!’ Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, ‘Lord, do not hold this sin against them!’ Having said this, he fell asleep. Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. Some devout men buried Stephen, and made loud lamentation over him. But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison.” (Acts 7:58-8:1-3; NASB) It is important to remember that God can at times turn the hearts spiritually of individuals who oppose Him. It is not that He chooses to turn some people and not others. It is, rather, that some individuals have hardened their hearts to the point that God cannot reach them, whereas others have not. This is easily seen in history through people like Hitler. He became so demonized and deceived that God could not change his evil heart. The apostle Paul, (formerly Saul) was very deceived, but his heart was still desirous of truth. God was able to turn him around, awakening him to truth and a revelation of Jesus. He had been watching - and many historians believe possibly overseeing - the martyrdom of Stephen. Yet, intercession was probably being made for him, and was certainly being made regarding the persecution of the church, persecution he was helping to lead. Was Paul impacted by Stephen‘s message? Or by the way Stephen died? We are not told, but I believe he most likely was. Shortly thereafter, Holy Spirit encountered him in a profound way (Acts 9), showing him who Christ really was. The rest, as they say, is history. Can God do this today? Of course He can, and He will. I have been reminded of this recently by Holy Spirit, and somewhat convicted about failing to remember the possibility. I am thinking specifically of the Supreme Court and other government leaders in America. Paul’s violent and aggressive stance against the church was so intense that many believers were skeptical of his conversion, and afraid to trust him. Yet, his conversion was real and he became a champion for Christ. I believe this will happen in our day. I was recently sent a dream in which God turned the heart of a Supreme Court Justice (whom I believe should remain unnamed). This was immediately confirmed to me in a profound way. I will share a portion of the dream, without giving names. The dream was given when a team of us were in Washington D.C., praying against the political and religious spirit influencing our nation. The timing of the dream was meant to encourage us that the prayers were effective, and people would now begin to be freed from this stronghold. It is also significant that although we were in DC, the dream was given to a person in Lubbock Texas, a sanctuary city for the unborn. All involved in the prayer meeting, as well as the person having the dream, were a part of the movement to make Lubbock a sanctuary city for the unborn. This, from the person passing on the dream: **************** “I had an important dream shared with me just before our team met to pray for those of you on the assignment in Washington D.C. As we were gathering Tuesday morning (2/22/22), a believer setting up the room for us, told us she had had a strange dream Monday night. “In the dream, she was waiting for our team to arrive. As we were coming in, she noticed that some were carrying a person. The person was not asleep or injured, but had been overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit. She asked who the person was and was given a name. She recalled that the name was of someone important, but couldn’t place it right off. “Others on the prayer team walked in with wrapped gifts. Some of us were handing the gifts to this person (who had awakened from her Holy Spirit encounter), and others were carrying more gifts into the meeting room. End of dream. ***************** “When this dreamer awakened she Googled the name and realized the person in the dream was a Supreme Court Justice, one whom we would think of as liberal. “As a result of the dream, we decreed a turnaround in the Supreme Court and especially for this Justice. We prayed for them to be one of those set free from the religious and political spirit, and overwhelmed by Holy Spirit. (Again, this group was meeting to pray regarding this very thing.) “We believe the significance of ‘gifts’ coming from a Sanctuary City indicates a gift of change in the Supreme Court, a change that will end the tyranny of death to the unborn in our nation. “The dreamer used an odd phrase, ‘people mover’ buses to describe the vehicles we came in. We decreed that many people will be moved towards righteousness, holiness, and hope as they are delivered from the political, religious spirit!!” After reading this dream, which came in a text, I was wondering what to do with it. At the time it was sent, I was reading cards and letters mailed to me from GH15 listeners, catching up. Embarrassingly, I was 2 months behind due to holidays, travel, illnesses, etc. I literally had hundreds to read. IMMEDIATELY, mere seconds after I read the text containing this dream, I pulled out the NEXT card. It was dated from over two months ago, December 18, 2021, and said in part: “God has burdened me for the Justices regarding the Dobbs abortion vote. I’m praying for each one, but especially for [the Justice named in the dream]. I’m praying for [them] to have a divine turnaround and fulfill their call to lead in righteousness.” What are the odds that I would pull out and read this card, two months late, immediately after reading this dream about the same Justice?! I can only believe God is saying to pray for them, that He knows their heart can be turned. Conservative Justices have flipped in the past and become liberal. Why should we not expect a liberal-leaning Justice to do so? Pray with me: Father, we will not forget to pray for the babies. We bring before You again the Supreme Court Justices of the United States. We are asking You to move in Your powerful way and turn their hearts toward life. We are asking You to make it overwhelmingly clear that Roe versus Wade was decided improperly. And also to awaken them to the evil it has caused in our land. We pray also for their salvation. Any who do not know You and whose heart can be changed, please do so. Transform them just as You did Paul. If it takes a supernatural encounter such as he had, then we ask You to do that. We pray for their deliverance and for the scales to be removed from their eyes. We ask this not just for those on the Court but all throughout our government. Bring a revival into the government of America. May thousands of them find Jesus. We also remember the people of Ukraine. Please end this evil war as quickly as possible. Protect the innocent. Save the lost. Send revival to Ukraine and Russia. Expose corruption and evil leaders. We ask all of this in Christ’s name. Amen. I found myself asking God to raise up patriot leaders once again in America. We are in desperate need of God-honoring, wise, commonsensical patriots. Ronald Reagan was one. Today, I am simply sharing with you portions of his First Inaugural Address. ******************* “...We must act today in order to preserve tomorrow. And let there be no misunderstanding--we are going to begin to act, beginning today. “The economic ills we suffer have come upon us over several decades. They will not go away in days, weeks, or months, but they will go away. They will go away because we, as Americans, have the capacity now, as we have had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom. “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. “From time to time, we have been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. But if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together, in and out of government, must bear the burden. But please have mercy and save us from ourselves. Raise up a new breed of patriot leaders in America. Women and men who honor and revere You, have integrity, love life, honor the Constitution, and have common sense. Give us leaders who will help us find the ancient paths. Heal our nation we pray. 4 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-25-2022 February 25, 2022 The Invasion of Ukraine On the evening of February 23, 2022, the lives of millions of Ukrainian citizens were changed as Russia began a calculated takeover of that nation. Now the Baltic states are nervous they may be next. (1) It’s a scary time to be in that region of the world. We must pray for the Ukrainians, asking for God’s grace and mercy as they make challenging decisions regarding their safety. The situation there is volatile and unpredictable. We must not forget them. It is not always easy to know how to pray for situations like the invasion of Ukraine. God cannot always stop evil from occurring, whether it be rape, murder, hunger, or war. It is not a power issue - of course God is all-powerful. It is a matter of allowing humans the privilege of a free will. When the human race became defiled at Adam’s fall, evil entered the world. One day it will end. For now, it exists. Since God works on earth through people, not independently of them, dealing with evil requires human participation and cooperation with God and His laws. He uses righteous authority, laws, and government to suppress evil. At times, these restraining authorities must use force. However, stopping evil regimes that have gained power and control can take time - again, because God uses people. All this to say it is not possible to simply pray a good prayer/s and end what is occurring in Ukraine. Does this mean we don’t pray? Of course not. We ask God to intervene in whatever ways He can, as quickly as He can. We pray for comfort to those suffering. We pray for other countries and leaders to make wise decisions that will mitigate the suffering and stop the evil. We pray for people to come to Christ - God uses tragedies such as this to reach people. We also continue to pray for America’s complete turnaround. What occurs here affects the world. Secretary of State under President Trump, Mike Pompeo, said in an article regarding Ukraine, “This invasion was by no means inevitable. We in the Trump administration knew it was Putin‘s aim to establish Russian dominance and influence over all the old Soviet bloc countries, including in Ukraine. We were able to keep an invasion like this one from occurring by establishing a model of deterrence, not just with respect to Russia, but with anyone who threatened to harm or undermine our interests.” (2) Pompeo went on to say, “[the Biden administration] failed because sanctions are just one tool for executing effective diplomacy and establishing deterrence, yet the Biden administration has acted as if they are sufficient as a reactionary strategy. They are not; deterrence must be multifaceted - military force projection, American energy dominance, allied resolve, and clear, concise dialogue and expectations. “In the Trump administration, we incorporated all these factors into our strategy of diplomacy and deterrence, yet the Biden administration has allowed each to slowly erode with feckless, muddled responses to Russian aggression that have neither projected strength nor imposed costs on our adversaries. They have stopped speaking in the one language Putin understands: strength. “President Biden has been weak toward Putin, unstable and unclear - he doesn’t understand what is at stake in the fight against Russia and doesn’t know that it takes strength to defend America and keep us out of war. “America has been weak and unclear with our adversaries when the world needed it to be at its strongest and most clear. Our adversaries have noted the Biden administration‘s failure to act with resolve in Afghanistan, in the face of Chinese aggression, and now in response to Russian aggression in Ukraine….[China], the ayatollahs in Iran, will each see these failures of American leadership as a green light for them to execute their sinister designs to disrupt peace and make war. This will make the world far less safe for all people, including Americans.” (3) President Trump’s policies were good. Though he was framed, lied about, (4) and opposed by evil people for 4 years, he still did much to strengthen and turn America in the right direction. Now, with Biden’s predictable policies and mistakes, Europe faces its greatest crisis since WWII, and madmen around the world are emboldened. They see this as their window of opportunity to take over as much of the world as possible. We must pray..! We will pray for Ukraine and the Baltic States, just as we do Afghanistan. We will continue to pray for America’s turnaround and Third Great Awakening. Changed hearts will turn America back to God, which will allow Him to heal our land. We pray that in the meantime God helps us minimize the damage the left can do here and abroad. And we’ll pray for Congress to turn from being controlled by liberals and leftists this November, for women and men with biblical worldviews and values to take their positions. And we will pray for mercy and great grace to be poured out. Pray with me: Father, we ask for Your mercy to be manifested for the people in Ukraine and the Baltic States. We ask You to cause alliances and actions that will minimize violence and destruction. We pray that evil doers will be exposed and judged for their wickedness. We ask You to cause them to be hung on their own gallows. We pray that those who don’t know You will come to know You through the difficult times they experience. Bring revival to eastern Europe. We pray for our government to make wise decisions. Cause them to think clearly. May they not fall into the traps and strategies of evil leaders. Give NATO leaders wise strategies and sound decisions. We believe You will somehow use all of this to bring forth the great harvest You’re planning. Amp it up quickly, we pray. Redeeming God, bring a tidal wave of glory into the earth. We ask for this in Christ’s name. Amen. It passed the House 218-211 (all Democrats but one voted for it) in September. Decision Magazine says regarding this bill, “The U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the controversial Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) on February 28, 2022. The bill, which pro-lifers say would more accurately be called Abortion on Demand, would codify abortion rights into federal law and threaten states’ regulation of abortion even if Roe v. Wade were overturned.”(1) The Biden administration, of course, strongly supports this evil law. “On September 20, the Executive Office of the President issued a Statement of Administration Policy (SAP) announcing that the Biden administration ‘strongly supports passage of the Women’s Health Protection Act. The White House wrote, ‘In the wake of Texas’ unprecedented attack, it has never been more important to codify this constitutional right and to strengthen health care access for all women, regardless of where they live.’”(2) This act would protect the right to abortion in every state, even if Roe is overturned. It “would also overturn state laws requiring informed consent, waiting periods, and counseling prior to receiving an abortion. It also places a prohibition on limiting abortion at any point prior to fetal viability, which is 24 weeks… “The bill prohibits states from restricting ‘a particular abortion procedure,’ meaning dismemberment abortions that cause fetal pain and other procedures would be legal. “While framed as a simple codification of the abortion precedent set up in Roe v. Wade, this bill goes much further by enshrining late-term abortion into federal law and repealing nearly every pro-life law passed by the states. “According to an article in Forbes: The bill would supersede state-level restrictions on abortion and would expressly prohibit any measure that ‘impedes access to abortion.’ The bill would not apply to laws that prohibit government-based or other health insurance plans from covering abortions.”(3) We must pray against this hideous attempt to kill babies, which Democrats have been trying to pass every year since 2013. UKRAINE Let’s continue to pray for Ukraine. Thus far their love of country and resolve has inspired much of the world. When Biden offered Ukrainian President Zellensky a flight out of the country, he responded by saying, “The fight is here — I need ammunition, not a ride.”(4) The world is shocked that Ukraine is still free. Some Ukrainians, according to many news sources, are starting to feel the momentum may be shifting. If they survive this brutal attack by Putin, however, it will truly be miraculous. Nevertheless, they have had some wins. Joel Rosenberg says, “According to the Ukrainian government and media sources: More than 3,500 Russian soldiers have been killed in fighting At least 200 Russian soldiers have been captured 14 Russian military aircraft have been shot down 8 Russian helicopters have been shot down 536 Russian armored vehicles have been destroyed 102 Russian tanks have been destroyed Yet not a single major Ukrainian city has fallen to Russian forces.”(5) Rosenberg states other reasons for Ukraine to be encouraged. “The capital of Kyiv was the main target of Moscow’s illegal and immoral offensive on Friday and Saturday — yet at this hour Kyiv remains firmly in the grip of the Ukrainian people and government. “Consider more good news. Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers are running out of gas. Yet Russian forces haven’t taken a single Ukrainian airfield yet. “And Ukrainian forces have blown up all the rail lines to and from Russia. So, badly needed supplies — including fuel — can’t get to the Kremlin’s forces in the field. “What’s more — and ingenious — is that Ukrainians are tearing down road signs, or replacing them with [insults]. As a result, some Russian tank and troop convoys are getting lost. “Ukrainian diplomats, reporters, and civilians that I’m in touch with feel the momentum has shifted in their favor. They know full well they have a long, hard fight ahead of them. But right now they feel genuinely optimistic. “Christians in Ukraine are telling me they are seeing ‘miracles’ happen. Yes, they believe their people are brave and resilient. But more importantly, they believe that God is helping them. “They’re shocked and encouraged, for example, that the U.S. and Germany have finally shown sufficient backbone to freeze the Nord Stream 2 pipeline carrying natural gas from Russia to Europe. “They’re encouraged, too, that NATO is sending weapons and supplies, though much more is needed. They’re also heartened that the global media is mostly on their side. Will the good news last? Let’s keep praying for Ukraine.”(6) CHUCK PIERCE My friend and prophet, Chuck Pierce, said recently of the praying church, “I think we are better equipped than we’ve ever been. We are more mature. In 2020, God started redefining the remnant, and that’s us. I believe we are stronger now than ever before. We are now an apostolic, prophetic army that is ready to decree and go to war spiritually.” I agree! Chuck continued, “We must remember that we are a kingdom. Even though the world is shifting, shaking, and realigning, we must release our voice into all of this. We have the dimension of decrees, which can change all that is happening right now. We must remember who we are!” Speaking of what is happening in Ukraine, Chuck said, “They are in the war of their life, to regain their inheritance. It’s not just a physical war, it’s a spiritual war. We must all must rise up and see spiritually what we’re dealing with in the spiritual realm. This isn’t a time for fear; it’s a time for new strength. It’s a time to turn the battle at the gates!” Speaking of the entire body of Christ he said, “Israel came out of Egypt, warred past slavery, but wouldn’t war for their promise. Start warring like you never have before for your promise, your inheritance. Take your stand! God will favor you! It will take miracles from heaven but He will favor you with them. “We cannot war simply in the earthly realm. We must war in the heavenlies, seated with Christ, looking down. I declare that right now things are beginning to break open, and that right decrees will start being made by the Ekklesia. Father, raise up Cyruses throughout this land to make decrees that need to be made. Keep America from becoming trapped in any snares of satan at this time. Give us a strong backbone.”(7) Pray with me: Father, we pray against this insidious and wicked bill regarding abortion coming before the Senate today. We pray that You will cause it to fail. As we are praying for the Supreme Court and their deliberations regarding the current Mississippi abortion case, we pray against this bill, as well. Awaken the conscience of senators who are on the fence. Give them a desire to protect the babies. Forgive America for the evils we have committed in this area and heal our land of this curse, we pray. We decree over the Senate today that Holy Spirit will hover over it and stop this act! And we pray for the people of Ukraine. We pray that You will continue to give them victories against the evil aggression coming from Putin. Stop this evil man, we pray. Remove him! We pray for the Russian people, many of whom do not approve of their government. Free them from this evil man and from communism. Give favor to the Ukrainians. Give them angelic help. Give them a miracle - may David slay Goliath! And cause the Ekklesia to rise up as never before in strength and faith. Awaken faith and revelation to decree boldly over the nations of the earth, including America. We decree that evil will not prevail in America’s government, that righteousness will prevail and a love of life will return. We decree over the Supreme Court that they will no longer be blinded by demonic powers, but will continue to shift in their understanding toward truth and righteousness. We pray and decree these things in Christ’s name. Amen. The truckers in Canada let their voices be heard loudly and clearly. American truckers are now doing the same. Today we want to pray for them. The following article, released by our friends at Intercessors For America, provides us with good insights in praying for this. “I’m sure that you have not missed the news that a trucker convoy is heading from California to DC in solidarity with the trucker protests in Canada. Just like the Canadian truckers added force to their voices by shutting down the busiest border crossing between the U.S. and Canada, the convoy that is expecting to arrive in DC later this week is planning to shut down the Washington Beltway. “The trucker protests have become a movement in defense of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and against vaccine mandates and restrictions. According to Lifesite News, it has garnered support from all walks of life: “The truckers and blue-collar workers of the United States will be joined by freedom-loving supporters from all walks of life – front-line doctors, lawyers, first responders, former military servicemen and women, students, retirees, mothers, fathers, and children.” “Why, and how, should the community of intercessors in the United States and Canada pray about it? In and of themselves, these protest movements are laudable exercises of free speech in a democratic society that make the voice of large groups of people heard. But they have some, perhaps unintended, effects that can have long-term impact on the political, legal, and spiritual climate of our country. “In Canada, the protests led to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoking emergency powers, and requiring the Ottawa police to aggressively quell the protests. The Ottawa police then went a step further and announced they would actively look to identify protest participants and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges. That led to a significant social media backlash accusing the police of tyranny. “This escalation has led to two troubling issues: 1. Should a democratic government invoke emergency powers to quell protests it deems a threat to itself and set aside constitutional rights of its citizens? 2. Should law enforcement agencies be used to squash protests, overstep wise boundaries in the process, and erode the public’s trust in their everyday duty to “protect and serve” the community? “In particular, the latter can have a domino effect of deepening and increasing the anti-police sentiment that already exists, which in turn can lead to further restrictions on their power, which can then lead to empowering criminals. “Especially here in the US. Several major cities have seen a dramatic increase in violent crime due to, among others, police cutbacks and retirements, which are in turn the result of anti-police movements that have a demoralizing effect and have increased violence against police officers. “I remember Jesus’ warning in Matthew 24:12 that in the last days, lawlessness will increase as love grows cold. The demoralization in many of our nation’s 12,000+ law enforcement agencies, and the subsequent flood of retirements, along with difficulty recruiting new personnel, are removing the restraint on crime, and allowing lawlessness to increase. Trust and support for police and the maintenance of law and order must be restored. “Which brings me back to the truckers arriving in D.C. with plans to shut down the Capital Beltway. It has the potential to result in more confrontations with police, some of which could turn ugly. That, in turn, has the potential of eroding the trust of many in law enforcement even further. I suspect that Satan will seek to exploit the situation in order to plunge the U.S. into further chaos and division and weaken the nation from the inside out. “As intercessors, we are watchmen on the wall. We see the spiritual battle between good and evil behind what unfolds here on earth. Therefore, we must stand in the gap to thwart Satan’s intentions and pray for peace, order, and the presence of God at the protests. “Keep in mind that he will fight hard, because national capitals often attract a strong demonic presence since that is where the powerbase of a country lies, where laws and policies that regulate life emanate. “Also keep in mind that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), from where we pray in dependence on His guidance, and out of His authority above all living things, and in the victory already won by Him on the cross (Colossians 2:15). “Here are some suggestions for prayer: Pray for peace among the truckers and the crowds they attract. Pray that God will bind any spirit of chaos, violence, ill-will, aggression, and division. Pray for the message of the protesters to be clear and truthful, spoken in love. Pray for protection from any groups wanting to use the protests to stir up violence and aggression. Pray for a spirit of agreeable cooperation between the organizers and the police. Pray for wisdom for Chief Robert Contee III and his command staff in handling the protests tactfully, diverting traffic effectively, and protecting the good of the community. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be poured out on the people assembled. Pray against the schemes of the evil one, that these protests and the involvement of the police will result in a restoration of trust in law enforcement, rather than further erosion.” Pray with me: Father, we thank You for the freedoms we enjoy in America. As some in our government have tried to encroach on these freedoms we appeal to You for help. As thousands let their voices be heard this week we pray for their safety and protection. In the name of Jesus, we bind spirits of violence, anger, and chaos. We ask for Your shalom to hover over them and their gatherings. May they, as well as those who oppose them, be controlled by love. We pray for the police who will be called upon to ensure peace and safety. Protect them, and give their leaders wisdom. Please override any attempt to stir up violence against them, and keep them from overreacting to any situation that arises. We pray for clarity of message, and for truth to be exalted. We ask that the liberal media and politicians not be able to distort the message of the protestors. And we ask You to cause the unfair and unreasonable mandates of our government to stop. We ask that foolish, even evil, decisions by our government surrounding the Covid issue stop. Some decisions have been made because of mammon, political gain, and evil ideologies. Lives have been lost, livelihoods have as well, our children have and continue to suffer, and further division has come to our nation because of this evil. Please help us end it. Rachel Shafer, my brother Tim’s daughter, recently sent me the following article regarding the subject of restoration. I’m always looking for ways to encourage you with hope for the future. I believe Rachel’s word will inspire and aid you in allowing Holy Spirit’s redemption and restoration into your suffering. ******************* “As I was praying and asking for insight into this year of 2022, I very clearly heard Holy Spirit tell me this would be a year of restoration. He then said to me: ‘I am the God of every moment; therefore, no moment is wasted.’ “God is a redeemer and a restorer. The biblical meaning of the word ‘restoration’ is much different than the English dictionary’s meaning. The dictionary defines it as to returning something back to its original condition.(1) However, the Biblical meaning is to restore back more than has been lost, causing the final state to be greater than the original condition.(2) The point is that someone or something is actually improved in Biblical restoration. “Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly blessed people’s faith during hardships, making up for their losses and giving them more than they previously had. He doesn’t simply restore to the original condition, but delights in restoring and improving on the original. This biblical pattern has encouraged me to persevere in my praying and believing, knowing that God is faithful to His Word. Holy Spirit redeems our times and moments. Please notice, I didn’t say He causes every moment in our lives, but that He doesn’t allow them to be wasted. “One definition of ‘redeemed’ is to make something that is bad or unpleasant better; moments that started out ugly, but in time became beautiful(3). It’s comforting to know that God doesn’t waste our pain. Every broken segment of our lives is made beautiful in the hands of our Creator. Nothing escapes His notice. “In Japan, they have made an art out of restoring broken things. It’s an ancient practice called Kintsugi, meaning ‘golden joinery’ or ‘to patch with gold.’ Kintsugi is an age-old custom of repairing cracked pottery with real gold, not only fixing the break, but by doing so - greatly increasing the value of the piece. “This art form turns what is broken into beautiful, cherished pieces by sealing the cracks and crevices with lines of fine gold. Instead of hiding the flaws, Kintsugi artists highlight them, creating an entirely new design and bringing unique beauty to the original piece. The pottery actually becomes more beautiful and valuable through the restoration. Though once broken, it now has history AND a new story. Not to mention the gold! “Typically, we want repairs of broken things - like nicely sealed super glue fixes - to be hidden; the usual intent is to try and make something look ‘as good as new.’ Yet the art of Kintsugi reinforces a profound belief that the repair can make things, not only as good as they were before, but ‘better than new.’(4) “This is a beautiful picture of Biblical restoration. God redeems and restores every piece of our story. “Romans 8:28 (NIV) says, ‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.’ This verse is saying that God uses our grief, joy, loss, gain, trials and triumphs. Nothing is wasted. “Lies from the enemy swirl around and whisper to us in weak moments, but don’t listen to him. God is saying that we are stepping into a season of restoration and redemption. We must value what He has said to us and keep His promises hidden in our hearts. “As I was praying about all of this, I was reminded of something Holy Spirit said to me recently, ‘Do not give false power to present circumstances.’ “As I pondered what this meant, I realized Holy Spirit was pointing out that, regarding a particular situation, I was empowering the problem. My mindset was placing power into the wrong hands. My next thought was: the power for what I am facing is in God; it’s in His hands. So, I wrote out this statement: ‘I will not give false power - control, authority, or influence - to present circumstances. I will, instead, decree the power, capacity, aptitude, authority, strength, and wonderful works of God.’ “Our present circumstances do not have to define our future. Do not relinquish power to the situation - keep it in God’s hands. “Job was an upright and holy man of God, yet he was placed in total misery. He did nothing wrong, yet suffered a great deal. One moment he was a picture of wealth, health and happiness. The next moment death hit, and Job mourned the loss of seven sons and three daughters. Lack hit and all of his wealth disappeared. Sickness happened and there were open sores all over his body. Relationship troubles occurred and his wife turned on him, telling Job to curse God and die. Even his once loyal friends lost respect and blamed Job for his trials. “Can you imagine how alone, desperate and defeated Job must have felt? He was being attacked from every angle, with no relief in sight. In due time, however, God intervened. “In the book of Job 42:10, we learn that the Lord not only restored Job, but gave him twice as much as he had before! This faithful servant of God received double. And today, God is still the God of double portion. He is the God of restoration - better than before! “Biblical scholars say Job’s name means “the persecuted one.”(5) Interestingly, his name reflected his life: full of persecution, suffering, pain and distress. But despite the meaning of his name, God ordained that he would not be perpetually defined by his struggle. Job came out of his season of persecution and into a season of restoration, biblical restoration. I believe that is exactly what is happening in the body of Christ today. We are moving from a season of persecution into a season of restoration. “Looking at your life right now, some might label you, ‘the persecuted one,’ ‘the struggling one,’ or ‘the depressed one.’ You might be considered ‘the forgotten one,’ ‘the lonely one,’ ‘the sick one,’ or even ‘the defeated one.’ But God has a plan, and you are about to become ‘the restored one!’ You will be ‘the redeemed one,’ ‘the joyful one.’ You’ll be called ‘the healed one,’ ‘the victorious one.’ Begin expecting this and thank the Lord for restoration. Renew your mind to see the good, the hope; and remind yourself of who God is, that He alone holds the power. Strengthen yourself in the Lord and engage with Him over this promise to you. Praise Him before the breakthrough and rejoice before the victory.” ************************ Pray with me: Father, we pray that hope and expectation would rise in troubled hearts. We pray that thankfulness and praise would be on our lips as we remember Your goodness and faithfulness. Jesus, we thank You for all that You are, all that You have done and all that You are continuing to do. We ask that You would infuse each of us with Your grace, strength, peace and perspective. Enable us to see what You see, remind us to say what You say. We decree that restoration is coming upon Your people. We decree breakthrough in circumstances and situations. God, restore with abundance - double! Give beautiful exchanges to Your people - beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise for despair. Brokenness, sickness, pain are no match for You, Lord. Come and revive, restore, redeem, and make new. We decree Your faithfulness and greatness over every person, family, and situation. We thank You for perfecting our stories, for releasing breakthrough and favor on us. You alone are worthy of all the glory, all the honor and we magnify You today. We thank You for Your promises. Some subjects are too broad in scope to address in a short article or teaching. The overall topic of human suffering - sickness, disease, hunger, death, etc. - is certainly one of them. Attempting to give brief explanations of complex subjects often creates confusion and misunderstanding. I will not do that here. Also, I want to state from the beginning that there are aspects of what I’m addressing today which I don’t fully understand. I still believe, however, that I should address it. I have never before seen the amount of sickness, disease, and death that I’ve witnessed in this season. Obviously, there have been times in history where plagues and pandemics caused more deaths than humans are currently experiencing. But I have never personally observed the level I have been seeing. And I’m not referring only to Covid. Numerous other forms of sickness and disease seem to be running rampant. Never have I had as many individuals within my personal circle of acquaintances stricken with disease and death. Many of them are/were in ministry. Two more died this past week. Thankfully, some who have been extremely ill have survived. Overall, however, the onslaught has been horrific. If death or suffering has touched your circle, as well, I am deeply sorry for your pain and loss. I have thought and prayed about this for several days. It seems to me that something has been supernaturally unleashed on the earth, spiritual in nature, that is producing this unprecedented level of death and disease. Let me be clear in saying, I do NOT believe all sickness is directly caused by demonic activity. NOR do I believe that all sickness is caused by sin in a person's life. I do believe, in a general sense, that all sickness originates from the curse of sin and resulting satanic activity. In that regard, satan is the source of all sickness and disease, even if caused by poor health habits, unforgiveness, and other sins. Jesus clearly demonstrated God‘s attitude toward sickness - He healed all who came to Him for healing and treated sickness as an enemy. Acts 10:38 says of Christ’s ministry: “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” While I do not believe all sickness is directly caused by demonic spirits, it is clear from scripture that some is. Jesus healed a person who was bent over with a crooked spine, caused by a spirit of infirmity (Luke 13:10-11). He healed a boy who was deaf and couldn’t speak, which was caused by a spirit (Mark 9:17-27). And there are other biblical examples we could mention. I don’t know how demons cause diseases such as these, nor do I know all that gives them access or permission to do so. Clearly, certain actions open the door to demonic activity. In other cases, however, it does not appear that the person suffering from evil spirits committed any act that would open the door to it. One possible explanation is a person’s genetics which can make them vulnerable. The medical world knows that many diseases are caused by inherited susceptibility to them. It seems logical that demons somehow prey on this. Just how they are able to do this, I don’t pretend to understand. When Jesus healed individuals of diseases caused by spirits, He didn’t explain how it occurred. He simply delivered and healed them. I do not pretend to know how spiritual forces can at times release more sickness into the earth. But biblically, I know it’s possible; and I feel that is occurring. The scriptures teach that at times satan becomes more wrathful and aggressive in his activities. Revelation 12:12 makes this clear: “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” The verse in no way suggests this as the only time such activity will occur in history. And I am not suggesting that it is happening at this time because Jesus is about to return. I don’t pretend to know when that will occur; no one does. I am simply pointing out that satan’s wrath and activities fluctuate. Regarding this verse in Revelation my spiritual dad, Jim Hodges, says: “Escalated satanic activity does not take place only before Christ’s final return, but has occurred periodically in history. Satan is not omniscient, but he can observe when the Ekklesia is maturing at certain junctures in history, and thus his rage goes to another level. Revelation is a book that addresses history past and present, as well as the future.” The murdering of babies during the time when Moses was born; the season surrounding Christ’s birth when Herod had children killed; the martyrdom of many believers when the church was born; these would all be examples. The holocaust is a contemporary example. Obviously, throughout history there have been seasons when violent, destructive activity from satan increased on the earth. I feel we are currently in one of those times. The maturity of the Ekklesia and the eminent, unprecedented worldwide harvest has infuriated satan. In order to stop these things, I believe he has launched a counterattack, a campaign, to bring death and destruction. At his command, spirits that cause infirmity have been unleashed. We can stop some of this. Certainly, we cannot stop all death and destruction. But I do believe we can “bind” the demonic activity causing some of the current sickness and death, especially that which is being leveled against the body of Christ. I am NOT suggesting we should be compassionate toward and pray only for believers. We want all suffering to end. But when individuals are under the blood of Jesus and in covenant with Him, it becomes easier to stop satan’s attacks - he has no authority over them. Healing is the children’s bread (Mark 7:27). Let’s pray against this onslaught. Pray with me: Father, we come to You now in the powerful name of Jesus. We state our faith in His sacrifice and redeeming work. He delivered us from the authority of darkness and translated us into His kingdom (Colossians 1:13). He also gave us His authority to stop the works of satan against us (Matthew 16:18-19). As a prayer army here in America and in other nations, as well, we join our hearts and faith together. We do so to oppose the onslaught of sickness and death which demonic spirits are releasing in the earth. We bind this. We declare our faith that the blood of Jesus covers and shields us from these attacks. We bind spirits causing Covid, cancer, other diseases, and death. We declare Psalm 91, 1 Peter 2:24, and Romans 8:37 over our brothers and sisters and, especially right now, over leaders in the body of Christ. We declare in the powerful name of Jesus that this assault against leaders in the church will now be pushed back and rendered powerless. We break it’s effectiveness. And Father, we certainly love those who do not know You. We pray for them, as well. We ask for their protection from these evil diseases. Please heal them. Turn back this horrible tide of destruction. And we pray for their salvation. Reveal Jesus to them! We ask all these things in Christ’s name. Amen. I have also stated, however, that I realize this isn’t because America is loved more by God. Our nation’s role is to serve the world, in numerous ways. Jesus said, “He that is greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matthew 23:11) also see Matthew 20:26). America has become the greatest nation on the earth in terms of strength and wealth. This comes with great responsibility; it was given to us not just for ourselves. We have certainly dropped the ball in this regard, but God wants to reverse these failures through a Third Great Awakening. We will then be His voice and instrument once again. In today’s post, I want us to focus on some of the things happening with our neighbors in Canada and in other nations. Our friend, John Robb, of Transformation Prayer Foundation, shared the following points and insights. “What a time in which we are now living! The wonderful refrain from that old hymn, ‘The Conflict of the Ages’ has come to me a few times over the past several days. We are in that conflict for sure, now more than ever, facing the attempt by globalist elites to dominate and control the world’s peoples and drive us into a New World Order through their ‘Great Reset.’ Their plan, according to Klaus Schwab, leader of the World Economic Forum, is that by 2030, ‘You will not own anything, but you will be happy.’ “As Christ’s people, we need to be watching on the wall, pushing back through authoritative prayer and spirit-led actions. Thank God for the brave Canadian truckers and their supporters, who are pushing back against the vaccination mandates and other tyrannical policies of the Trudeau government through their ‘Freedom Convoy.’ We must be praying for them. (They are not against vaccines, they’re against inappropriate government control.) “Here in the USA, as well as in other nations, we need to stand against the same kind of globalist suppression of our rights and freedoms. Mat Staver, a praying lawyer with Liberty Counsel, warns that ‘Covid is being used as a weapon of fear to scare people into readily accepting government invasion in every aspect of our lives! The U.S. government is coordinating with agencies, airlines, corporations, and foreign nations to push a worldwide Vaccine Passport!’ He raises a cry against the totalitarian health passport that government agencies want to adopt here as they did in China. It is about getting all your personal data to determine whether you are allowed to work, enter stores and public places, or even leave your own home. “Let’s pray in agreement with other Jesus followers who take seriously His awesome promises of Matthew 18:18-19 and Luke 10:18-19 that give us authority to come against such things and the spiritual forces behind them. Ask the Lord to expose and bring down these Nazi-like, sociopathic elites who so arrogantly think they can take charge over the rest of humanity to make slaves of us all. Domination and control, as theologian Walter Wink concluded, always indicate demonic influence behind the scenes. That is because the prince of this world wants to lay claim to what is not his—the lives and destinies of humans created in God’s image to be free and enjoy His gift of abundant life. May the principalities and powers behind certain international institutions and national governments be bound in the name of the King of the Universe, our Lord Jesus Christ. And may anti-freedom individuals in big government, business, tech, pharma, and media be removed from their positions and replaced by God-fearing, caring, upright officials! “Other concerns we should be praying about: 1. “Continue to agree in prayer that the increasingly likely conflict between Russia and Ukraine be diffused and that the Russian forces gathered along the border will be withdrawn. 2. “Afghanistan has become the most dangerous place to be a Christian. The Taliban sometimes goes house to house looking for any who have Scripture or audio Bible recordings on their cell phone and, in some cases, have executed them. The humanitarian crisis still needs our prayers, as well, so that adequate food and fuel can get to those in danger of starvation this winter. Pray as the Spirit leads you for these grave situations. 3. “Myanmar continues to experience a staggering revival with thousands upon thousands of Buddhists and Muslims wanting to know about Jesus. Please pray for additional willing laborers to help, and also for the end of the conflict and a return to civilian rule. 4. “Lastly, we in various New Mexico prayer networks and ministries will be coming together with Navajo ministers and other praying Native people in Gallup, NM, near the border of Arizona. We will be praying specifically for revival and God’s transformation of our beautiful but beleaguered state, as well as for our nation. These Navajo ministers, along with their nation’s president and vice-president (both Jesus followers) have been praying together every Monday. The Gallup pastors have been praying together every Tuesday, so something very significant is happening there! Also, an intercessor from one of the darkest places in New Mexico (drugs, crime, and occultism), where the first capital in the USA was founded in 1598 (even before Santa Fe), wrote to me a couple of weeks ago. He sees a "spiritual nuclear explosion" involving the Navajos and other Native peoples happening. This goes along with Billy Graham's prophetic word in 1975 about the First Nations people being like a ‘sleeping giant,’ who will have a powerful impact on our nation and world when they are awakened spiritually. May this be the time! In his iconic speech at a conference on Indian evangelism, Graham said to Native American leaders, ‘You are a sleeping giant, the original American. You are now awakening. Just around the corner, you may become a spiritual superpower in this country that could change, not only America, but the world." Pray with me: Father, we love our brothers and sisters around the world. We pray for them today. Please give strength and favor to those standing for freedom in Canada. We ask for a miracle to be released that turns the tide for them. We pray also for provision to make its way to them. We ask that their boldness and love of freedom impact our nation as well. We pray for the people of Ukraine. Somehow, stop the Russian invasion and enable Ukraine to maintain their freedom. Overthrow evil leaders in Russia and around the world. We also ask, however, for blessing to the innocent masses of Russia. May evil leaders in Russia, China, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba and other nations of the earth be removed. And send unprecedented revival to all of these nations. We pray for the people of Afghanistan. Deliver them from the evils of the Taliban. Give peace and protection to our brothers and sisters, save those who do not yet know You. We command revival fires into that region!!! And we pray for the people of Myanmar. We know Heaven is rejoicing over the outpouring of Holy Spirit taking place there. May they continue to experience incredible revival with thousands upon thousands more Buddhists and Muslims coming to know Jesus. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-17-2022 February 17, 2022 The Rainbow Trout During the 2020 election battle, I went with a team of 20 intercessors to Coudersport, PA, to pray at the headwaters of the Allegheny River. This location was chosen based on a series of dreams given to different individuals. Pennsylvania was our nation’s birthplace, and we felt that Holy Spirit was highlighting this location to confirm that a new birth is coming to America. While there, He gave Clay Nash another significant dream. I mentioned this dream in yesterday's post. Today I want to share the entire dream with you, along with some of the insights gleaned from it. It is encouraging. Clay says: ***************** “I dreamed the morning of Nov 16 [2020], while in Coudersport, PA, that Dutch and I were fly fishing in the Allegheny River. “There were people along the bank of the Allegheny kneeling and praying. Each person, after a time of prayer, would rise and walk away very focused, very intentional, and very fast-paced, as if they had received an assignment. Dutch, on the other hand, was very intensely focused on the fly fishing. “People began coming to Dutch and shouting, ‘Come on out of the water, we need you with us.’ It irritated me and I was about to intervene in their disruptions when Dutch told me to ‘stay focused on the fly fishing; God is about to reveal Himself.’ “We remained diligent in casting our flies upon the water. At almost the exact same moment we both caught trout. Both trout had beautiful rainbows on them, so bright it was amazing. Dutch, being a distance from me shouted, ‘Come here, you must see this.’ “As I sought to remove the fly from my trout’s mouth, in it I discovered a gold coin that had the word, ‘Mercy’ on it. I shouted back to Dutch, ‘You must see THIS!’ I moved quickly to show him. Many people were still kneeling and praying. They began to arise and they, too, had ‘Mercy Coins.’ Each one threw a gold ‘Mercy Coin’ into the river. “When I arrived where Dutch was, he showed me the gold ‘Mercy Coin’ he had retrieved from his trout’s mouth. He then held the trout up to look at the rainbow on its side. On the right side of the trout, over the rainbow, was the word, ‘Reset.’ Over the rainbow on the left side it said, ‘America shall be saved.’ “About this time a raft came floating down the river with George Washington and other people in it, some of them being First Nations people. They were holding up the Appeal to Heaven flag. The flag, however, had additional wording on the bottom: ‘No Surrender.’” *************** End of dream ************** First, there were many people on the banks of the river, praying. The dream was about appealing to heaven. Clay and I were fishing for rainbow trout and each of us caught one. In scripture the rainbow represents covenant. (Genesis 9:1-17) On my trout, over the rainbow on each side, were the words “reset” and “America shall be saved.” I realize there is a reset movement being conducted by globalists, but don’t be confused by this. God is doing His reset, also. But America’s reset and salvation can only occur as we honor covenant. First and foremost, we must honor the covenant we have with God through the blood of Jesus. But Holy Spirit has also been telling us that America must honor, and we believers must decree, the power of the covenant we have with God as a nation. It is very significant to me that I have been writing a good bit about that in recent GH15 posts and now Holy Spirit has reminded me of this dream. I had not thought of it in a year; Clay mentioned it to me on Monday of this week. In the mouth of “covenant”, we found “mercy” - the coins. This was and remains very significant to me because in 2016 God began speaking to me about His mercy being offered to America. In three separate instances - one in front of the White House, a dream given to an intercessor, and a vision given to a pastor - He showed me that mercy would be granted to our nation. The vision was given to a pastor and friend of mine, Kingsley Walker, while he was praying with us during the Reset Conference I hosted just before the 2016 elections. In his vision, the sky began raining U.S. coins. This became a deluge until we were eventually standing ankle-deep in the coins. They were exact replicas of U.S. silver dollars, except that each one had the word MERCY across the top. In the vision, I picked up some of the coins, looked at Kingsley and said, “Mercy is our new currency.” I encouraged Kingsley to have silver coins made that looked exactly like the Mercy Coins from the vision. He did so and they are beautiful. God has used these as prayer momentos all over the world now. A friend of his and mine just gave seven of these coins to several heads of nations, telling them that God desires to give mercy to their nation as well. People have given them to their members of Congress, governors, pastors, and friends. I buried one in the soil at the headwaters of the Allegheny River during one of my prayer journeys there. It will not be America’s good works or righteousness that purchases/earns restoration. Our salvation will be purchased only with God’s mercy, bought for us by the blood of Christ. God was confirming this to me again in 2020, reminding me that we will obtain mercy through our covenant with Him. This alone will save and reset America. I mentioned yesterday that George Washington, along with others, then floated down the river holding an Appeal To Heaven flag. Washington, “the Father of our nation,” was the person who had this flag designed and made. He flew it over the naval vessels and many battlefields in the Revolutionary War, reminding the colonists that appealing to heaven for help was our only hope of freedom. I did not mention yesterday the First Nations people in the boat, intentionally waiting until today. Their presence is very significant. It was never God’s heart and plan that we “take” this land from the First Nations people. It was His intent that we partner with them and live in peace, just as William Penn did with the First Nations people of what is now Pennsylvania. Penn was “given” the land by the king of England. He knew, however, it was not the king’s land to give, so he purchased it from the native people, and entered into a sacred covenant with them, which he never broke. I have known for years that the next great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in America would include the First Nations people. God loves them dearly and will not allow them to be forgotten. I will say more about this tomorrow, sharing a report of what is happening among one of the tribes. But in the dream, they were in the boat with us. How much clearer could Holy Spirit make this? We must have the First Nations people in the boat! They have an incredible role to play in what God wants to do in our nation, and I believe He is coming to visit the reservations and native people all across this land with a great revival. Let’s pray regarding this. Pray with me: Father, we honor the shed blood of Jesus Christ and our covenant with You through Him. Our hope is built on nothing else. Through this blood, we have access to Your mercy seat. We come to You now in His name asking for mercy to our nation. We ask that You reset America, bringing us back to Your plan and purpose. We ask that You restore faith and a love for You, through the greatest revival America has ever experienced. We ask for this same outpouring to all the nations of the earth. We will not surrender, we will continue to appeal and we will do so in faith. We believe in Your goodness and love. We believe in Your heart of grace, mercy, and compassion. We call on that now. We pray especially for our First Nations friends all across this nation. We ask for an incredible, supernatural, earthshaking revival to come to the First Nations people of this land. We believe we will see this. And we ask for Your continued work of cleansing in America. Give us righteous government once again. Overturn Roe versus Wade. Heal our land, Father. We ask all of this in the name of Christ. Amen. God said to Abram, “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years. But I will also judge the nation whom they will serve, and afterward, they will come out with many possessions. As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age. Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete.” (Genesis 15:12-16; NASB) We here at GH15 have been consistently saying God was going to expose the corruption in Washington. D.C. We used verse 16 above, where God told Abraham He would give him the land of Canaan, but not yet. Yahweh knew the Amorites’ sin would reach a level at which He could justifiably take their land and give it to Abraham. However, also in His justice, He waited until they reached that level. Holy Spirit gave me this verse when I sought Him after the 2020 election fiasco. He assured me we had prevailed, that our prayers for justice had been heard and granted. But, the cup of iniquity was not yet full. It would be soon, but not quite. An internationally trusted prophet called me and told me the prayers of the Ekklesia had been effective and, he said, “had saved America. Everything you’ve prayed will be done. God will continue to expose the evil and, when He has finished exposing them, He will remove them. Trust His timing.” I’ve been saying ever since that more exposure - great exposure - is coming, and that we must not waver now. The exposing has just intensified. Another prophetic friend texted me Monday to say, “I heard Holy Spirit say today, ‘The avalanche of justice has begun to rumble! America’s boil has been lanced!!’” Be assured, what has recently been released is just the tip of the iceberg. The dominoes will now begin to fall. As you no doubt know by now, “Special counsel John Durham’s team alleged on February 12, 2022, that a tech executive aligned with the Democratic Party was paid to spy on former President Donald Trump’s residences and the White House when Trump was president. “Lawyers for the Clinton campaign allegedly paid the technology executive to infiltrate servers at the Trump Tower and the White House, Durham said in court filings (pdf) in order to establish an ‘inference’ and ‘narrative’ to tie Trump to the Russian government. Durham’s office made the claim as part of his investigation that had brought charges against Michael Sussmann, a lawyer who had worked on behalf of the Democratic National Committee and Hillarious Clinton’s 2016 campaign and who is currently charged with making a false statement to the FBI.” (1) “‘Tech Executive - I also enlisted the assistance of researchers at a U.S.-based university who were receiving and analyzing large amounts of Internet data in connection with a pending federal government cybersecurity research contract,” Durham’s filing states. “The executive also ‘tasked these researchers to mine Internet data to establish “an inference” and “narrative” tying then-candidate Trump to Russia,’ the filing states, adding that the technology firm that the executive worked for ‘had come to access and maintain dedicated servers’ for Trump’s executive office.”(2) As President Trump accurately stated, “‘This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate, and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution.’”(3) Those involved - from the deep state, to the politicians, to the dishonest media - have done everything possible to hide the truth from the American people for 5 years. Most of the media is still not mentioning this national disgrace and scandal of immeasurable proportions, even after Durham’s indictments. Not surprising, since they have covered for Clinton and reported lies on Trump for several years now. Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes all but called President Trump a liar to his face in 2020 when he said he was spied on. Ninety percent of the media jumped on the bandwagon, lauded her, and mocked the President. I’m sure she will now apologize. The fact is most of the media won’t report Durham’s findings, at least not yet, because doing so would be reporting their own lies. While there, Holy Spirit gave Clay Nash another significant dream in which George Washington was in a boat on the Allegheny River. Washington would, of course, also symbolize the birth of our nation. There were several meaningful details, not the least of which was him holding an Appeal To Heaven flag. But the flag had the added words, “No surrender.” A lady present in the service that night told Clay that Washington was known to use a Durham boat. (Though disputed by some, many historians believe it is so. Read more about this here.) She then prophesied to Clay, “Watch for the Durham boat to land.” What a strange and interesting word. At the time, it seemed to have no relevance to what we were doing. At times, Holy Spirit shares things with us knowing we will not fully understand them until later. This is why we must be very careful in interpreting dreams, visions, and prophecy. Making wrong assumptions regarding them can lead us to frustration, wrong timing, and even inappropriate predictions and actions. All of us who have moved in the prophetic gifting have made mistakes of this nature. Clay, however, felt this was from Holy Spirit and has been praying over the word for a year. He has now come to believe it was referring to the Durham investigation. Wouldn’t that be amazing? Was Washington saying in the dream, “Keep appealing. No surrender. There will be exposure of the corruption and a new birth of our nation.” I believe so. Whether or not this is the case, one thing is certain, the Durham investigation is starting to offload some of its cargo. And I believe by the time the special counsel is finished, the biggest political scandal in America’s history will have been exposed. Pray with me: Father, we pray today for our government. You said “when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2). We have some in our government who are wicked. They lie, are not servants of the people, lust after power, abuse their authority, and dishonor You. We have asked You to expose their evil and remove them; we believe You are doing so. Give wisdom and grace to Special Counsel Durham and those involved in conducting these investigations. Uncover. Bring revelation and exposure. Lead them down the right paths. Cause one or more individuals who know everything to confess the information. Discredit those who will not honor truth. We do pray for the salvation of every single person involved. We pray that hearts will turn and lives will be changed. Just as You model for us, we take no pleasure in the judgment of the wicked. We mourn their condition and want to see them saved. But we also honor truth and ask You for righteous leaders. Give us honest and fair elections. Rebirth America, restoring us fully to our partnership with You. I pray for intercessors here and around the world. May we faithfully appeal to You, and never surrender to the enemy. Never. In Christ’s name, we pray these things. Amen. Tom knows I love history, and he is very aware of my passion regarding the Appeal To Heaven flag: ***************** “Last week as we were finishing up our vacation in New England, my wife Kay and I journeyed to the site of the first shots fired in the American Revolution. They occurred in the towns of Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts. One of the places I desired to visit was the Hancock-Clarke Home in Lexington. Most people bypass this significant location. “Jonas Clarke (1730 – 1805), was an American clergyman who had a significant and passionate role in the American Revolution, as well as in shaping the Massachusetts and United States Constitutions. His pulpit, like many others, was the site of rallying calls to freedom, and he became the predominant voice of liberty in Lexington. “Clarke graduated from Harvard College in 1752 and became the third pastor of the Church of Christ in Lexington, Massachusetts on May 19, 1755. He married Lucy Bowes. His wife's cousin was the famous John Hancock. This Hancock-Clarke Home was first owned by Hancock's grandfather, the Rev. John Hancock Sr. The home was the destination of Paul Revere's famous ride on April 18, 1775, since Samuel Adams and John Hancock, sought after by the British, were staying with Rev Clarke. “As Kay and I walked through the home, there was a strong sense of God's presence. At its beginning, the home had been filled with the Lord and a family of twelve children. His holy presence still lingered in the rooms. The flagpole and its flag out front reveal what is called the Massachusetts Tree Flag. It was designed after the Appeal to Heaven flag, with an evergreen tree in the top left field of white. “We then journeyed a few blocks from the home to Lexington Green, where the first shots of the revolution were fired. While there, we read the monument’s inscription, which is dedicated to those who fell that day. After further research I discovered that the inscription was written by none other than Rev. Jonas Clarke. He wrote it 24 years after the battle in Lexington, and 16 years after the end of the war. “This is the entire inscription on the monument at the Lexington Green. Please note the bolded phrase! “‘Sacred to Liberty & the Rights of mankind!!! The Freedom & Independence of America, Sealed & defended with the blood of her sons. This Monument is erected By the inhabitants of Lexington Under the patronage and at the expense of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, To the memory of their Fellow Citizens, Ensign ROBERT MUNROE, and Messrs. JONAS PARKER, SAMUEL HADLEY, JONATHAN HARRINGTON, JR., ISAAC MUZZY, CALEB HARRINGTON AND JOHN BROWN, Of Lexington and ASAHEL PORTER of Woburn, Who fell on this field, the first victims to the Sword of British Tyranny and Oppression On the morning of the ever memorable Nineteenth of April, An. Built in the year 1799.’(1) “The Spirit of the Lord moved over me as I read the inscription again: ‘Righteous Heaven Approved the Solemn Appeal.’ I called my wife Kay over to the monument to read it. As she did, she declared to me: ‘Do you see what's next to it?’ Standing next to the monument was a huge evergreen tree! “Let's us boldly make our appeal to heaven in this hour. God will faithfully approve of our appeal as we bow before Him and trust in Him alone for our victory.” **************** I certainly agree with what Tom says. God is hearing our appeal. He is the One who brought this flag out of hiding a few short years ago. The Appeal To Heaven flag and prayer movement was God’s idea in 1775, just as it is now. I have said dozens, if not hundreds, of times: The same thing that birthed America - appealing to heaven - will rebirth America. Holy Spirit would never have brought this flag back into a place of significance in America had He not intended to honor the appeals. It still works. I was leading a prayer tour a few years ago, asking the Lord to reconnect America to her covenant roots. As He so often does on journeys such as this, Holy Spirit was faithful to give us numerous supernatural confirmations that we were indeed in His will, and that our prayers were effective. In York, PA, we visited a small museum that housed the Continental Congress for a few months during the Revolutionary War. In essence, it was our US Capitol for a few months. When we arrived on a Saturday, the building was closed. We went around back, stood in a circle, and began praying. However, two of our more adventurous members wandered over and tried to open the back door. It was unlocked, so they sauntered in thinking, “There must be someone here. Perhaps they will let us look around.” Instead, an alarm was triggered. It wasn’t loud; we didn’t even hear it outside. Then we left the building quickly. Minutes later, the curator/manager pulled up: the alarm was connected to his home. He walked through the building, opened the back door, and sternly said to us, “Who are you, what are you doing, and why is this alarm going off?” Our prayers shifted from America to ourselves, asking for favor and mercy! We told him what had happened, who we were, and that we were praying for America. He seemed appreciative that we were praying, and was also extremely glad we had inadvertently helped him discover the unlocked door. “Would you like to look around and pray inside?” He asked. “Uh, sure,” we almost shouted. While inside, he began sharing with us the history of the building, pointing out pieces of furniture and where the members of Congress had sat. He then pointed to 7-8 flags adorning the walls. “They all had a special meaning to the colonists,” he said. “though I’m not sure what some of them mean. For example, that white one there, with the evergreen tree and the words ‘Appeal To Heaven.’ I’m not sure what that was all about.” We told him. Then we did it..! Pray with me: Father, as we heard in yesterday’s post, You’re about to follow through on promises you’ve made to intercessors here in America. You’re also about to follow through on a promise You made to Your Son. In Psalm 2 You promised Him the nations as His inheritance, the ends of the earth as His possession. You also said His bride would consist of people from every tribe and tongue. We join with Him now in holy expectation as He enacts His greatest Kingdom campaign ever. Let it begin - bring it! We partner now with our great Paraclete, Holy Spirit, the One called alongside to help us. He is now also in us. We are filled with His power and life. We operate in His gifts, receive His revelation, and walk in His wisdom. We emit His light, speak His truth, and move in His timing. We promote peace but are ready for war. Flip the switch, Holy Spirit! Revive again. Pour Yourself out! Rain Your life-giving water. We continue the great tradition in our nation of appealing to You for Your help, Yahweh. We have joined our hearts together as an appealing company of intercessors. We agree - all across this land and in other nations of the earth - send the fire! You will appreciate this strong word. “In Habakkuk 2:3 we read that visions, dreams, and prophecies are for appointed, God-planned times. When their moment comes, they will accelerate to fullness and there will be no delay. It is vital to discern our times and remember what Holy Spirit has spoken to us, so we know how to properly engage. “Something incredible is now surging in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is now amping up to a different level. What the body of Christ has been contending for, through prayers and decrees, has come to its divine moment. Holy Spirit has activated strategies that are now in completion mode to produce God’s plan for His ruling and reigning Ekklesia. “I recently heard the Lord say to me, ‘My Ekklesia and My remnant have now entered the season of Our follow-through.’ “I knew that ‘Our’ was referring to the Godhead. The Godhead is now following through on promises they have made to us. Holy Spirit is overseeing it now on the earth. Prophecies that have been proclaimed are now being accelerated. Dreams that have been given to us are in the season of the follow-through. A season of supernatural completions has now begun. “When the Lord spoke these words to me, I was reminded of a previous word He had given me. He said, ‘I will now reintroduce Holy Spirit to the world. He will function in visible leadership of My Ekklesia, in worldwide ways and with explosive power. My sons and My daughters will move to new levels of My dominion mandate. New and unadulterated authority will be seen on the earth as Holy Spirit activates divine strategies and multiple divisions of angel armies to reinforce those strategies. They will assist My heirs and implement My Kingdom government. A new Pentecost outpouring will be poured upon the earth and everything in My Kingdom will accelerate. Revival and awakening will come. I will have My harvest.’ “Holy Spirit is the architect, strategist, and guide of this end time move, and He has announced this is a season of the follow-through. As I continued to ponder and pray, I was reminded of other words I believe refer to this season of completion. “Holy Spirit instructed me on the importance of angel armies several years ago and I believe we are now moving into a greater season of angelic activity. When He first began teaching this to me, He said, ‘The King has issued a command for a new campaign on earth. I will now be leading a campaign similar to what I initiated in the Pentecost outpouring in Acts Chapter 2, only it will be far greater. This time I will be bringing far more of the angel armies.’ “These words set me on a journey of years of study on the nature and workings of angels. Holy Spirit opened up God’s Word to me concerning angels assisting the King’s heirs, the Ekklesia, and a Kingdom revival. What we are entering into is not a local church based revival as we have seen in the past. The plan this time is for a Kingdom revival that will occur everywhere. Holy Spirit then said to me, ‘The greatest days in church history are not in your past; they are in your present and they are in your future.’ “The current Word of the Lord is that the Ekklesia and remnant have entered the season of the Godhead’s follow-through. The promised outpourings, revival, discipling of nations, and the greatest harvest ever are now in follow-through mode. Holy Spirit has been leading a transition in the church to develop a Kingdom mindset within the Ekklesia. “Additionally, Holy Spirit is being reintroduced as Lord Sabaoth, Lord of angel armies. There are many references in scripture that tell us when Holy Spirit moves, it is often with angel armies. One occasion occurred at the first Pentecost. “In Acts 2, King Jesus issued a command for a new campaign of His Kingdom to begin on the earth. This new Kingdom era was to take the gospel of the Kingdom into all of the earth. Holy Spirit came to supervise and empower it with angel armies. This is referenced in scripture by the cloven tongues of fire that hovered over each of the remnant believers in the upper room. Angels are often described in scripture as appearing like flames, reflectors, tongues or carriers of fire. “Five hundred people were told to go to the Upper Room, but only 120 did. Angels ministered the fire of God’s glory to that remnant under Holy Spirit’s supervision. These ministering angels were angels of glory. They are part of the glory division of angel armies that always accompany members of the Godhead. These angels reflect the glory of the Godhead and are carriers of the glory anointing of God. They minister to the heirs of God from His glorious, holy presence. These angels assist Holy Spirit’s actions, outpourings, revivals, awakenings, and moves on the earth. “Glory angels are often symbolized in God’s Word as fire. Fire often represents the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit, the very essence of who He is. It’s a presence you can see, feel and experience. When Holy Spirit came into the Upper Room, it must have been like a glory bomb exploded. A glory surge of who He is erupted and flames of fire appeared over each believer. Holy Spirit has said He is now moving similarly, yet greater. “While the first Pentecost happened in one place, this next outpouring will occur in hundreds of locations. It will be a widespread Kingdom revival. A glorious Ekklesia will rise in power and the government of hell will not prevail against it. Holy Spirit is now activating multiple divisions of angels to assist. “The different divisions of angel armies now being activated are: government, revival, breakthrough, alignment, awakening and reformation, evangelism, healings and miracles, and special forces. Holy Spirit is bringing these angels in this season of great follow-through to encamp around all of the Ekklesia hubs He has been preparing. “I recently had a vision of hundreds of different hubs all over the world. Encamped around one hub I saw angels of alignment, healings, miracles and glory. Around another, I saw angels of breakthrough, harvest, evangelism and awakening. Surrounding another, I saw angels of war, special forces, breakthrough, and glory. It continued in this way throughout the vision with each Ekklesia hub assisted by more than one division of angels, depending on their needs. Sometimes, I saw the angels moving as if on missions. Other times, I saw a division of angels moving out as another division came in. It looked like an active operation in process. “Holy Spirit then spoke these words, ‘I am increasing the power, influence and voice of my regional spirit capitals.’ He called the Ekklesia hubs His ‘regional spiritual capitals.’ The King has been building spiritual capitals, which clearly indicates governmental authority. “The Godhead is in follow-through mode. King Jesus is building His regional spirit capitals. He is providing keys to their regions and hell will not be able to hold out against them. These Ekklesias will occupy the territorial thrones, dethrone demon powers, and from the spirit capitals, the spirit realm will influence the natural realm, thus beginning to disciple nations. “God is now doing this. Not one word of His good promises will fail. We are moving into the most amazing days of God’s Kingdom. Hell doesn’t stand a chance.” Pray with me: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the dreams, visions, and prophecies You have given us. You have made so many promises to us, Lord. I believe You remember every one of them and You have promised You will follow through. We declare we have stepped into a season of supernatural follow-through and completion. Signs, wonders, and miracles are coming in abundance. A Kingdom revival will roar throughout all of the world. Holy Spirit is reintroducing who He really is. He is all-powerful, supernatural, all-knowing, ever-present, and a strategist who never loses. God, release Your divisions of angel armies to assist us. Release Your glory angels that reflect Your presence. Let healings be manifested across this nation. Healings of mind, body, and soul. We also call out to You, God, to heal our nation. You have promised America shall be saved and we call on You to follow through. We trust You, God. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-11-2022 February 11, 2022 The Manna Tree “Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.” (Genesis 21:33; NASB) We have said a good bit about tamarisk trees the past few days. They are an evergreen tree. For millennia evergreens have symbolized covenant. I write about them in my book, An Appeal To Heaven: “Always maintaining green leaves or needles, depending on the tree, evergreen trees have symbolized eternity as far back as Abraham. At times, this symbolism was expanded to include an everlasting or lifelong commitment to a covenant. At the time of our nation’s founding evergreens carried this significance to the Iroquois Native American nation. At a significant time in their history, a great leader united five native tribes (with a later addition of a sixth) establishing a confederacy among them. According to the Iroquois Constitution, the covenant began with the planting of the ‘Tree of Peace.’ Their peace treaty and everlasting covenant was then sealed by the symbolic act of burying weapons underneath a great evergreen tree. Some historians believe this covenantal ceremony is where we get the phrase, ‘bury the hatchet.’”(1) The tamarisk evergreen tree planted by Abraham symbolized covenant, his covenant with Yahweh. Many believe, myself included, that the tree placed on the Appeal To Heaven flag represents covenant. It certainly represented covenant in the dream I was given in 2007, in which I knocked out giants with special boxing gloves, one of which had the word “Evergreen” imprinted on it. And in Gina Gholston’s dream we have spoken of in our posts for the last two days, demons trying to destroy America were defeated with staffs made of tamarisk wood. The dream was telling us that declaring our covenant promises and alliances with God is a powerful spiritual weapon. The tamarisk tree, chosen by Abraham to represent his covenant with God, has other unique and interesting features. It is a wonderful shade tree and lives hundreds of years. However, tamarisks are also slow-growing. They grow only an inch per year and take 400 years to reach their full height. “Because the tree is so slow growing, no one would plant a tamarisk for him or herself; he or she would never personally benefit from it. By planting this slow-growing, long-living, covenantal tree, Abraham was thinking of his descendants, making a powerful declaration to them for generations to come, ‘I am in covenant with Everlasting God, and you will sit under the shade of my everlasting covenant with Him.’”(2) Amazing! Tamarisk trees are known as those which produce the coolest shade in the desert region were Abraham lived. The explanation for this is fascinating. “The tree grows needles rather than leaves. Often the needles excrete salt on their surfaces which give the needles a white color. Because the tamarisk excretes salt, it is sometimes called a ‘salt cedar.’ At night, moisture increases in the cool air. Water vapor adheres to the salt particles excreted on branches and needles, forming droplets. In the morning, as the sun warms the air, the water droplets evaporate and cool the tree and shade below it.”(3) In the dream we discussed yesterday and Tuesday (which you can read by looking at yesterday‘s post), the magnificent tree representing America was also producing wonderful shade. America’s Founders planted an incredible “shade tree” for future generations, saying through their actions - just as Abraham did to the generations to come - “You will sit under the shade of our covenant with God.” They formed a nation under God, a land in covenant with Him, one that could endure. America has been incredibly blessed because of their faithfulness and partnership with Yahweh. Millions of people here and around the world have enjoyed the “shade” of these covenant blessings. We must save the shade tree called America for our children and grandchildren, and for the world. Another interesting fact regarding the tamarisk tree was sent to me by a GH15 listener a couple of weeks ago. I have verified the information and find it fascinating. “An edible white honeylike substance known as manna forms drops on the stem of salt cedars, or tamarisk trees. This sweet material is sold in the form of flakes (flake manna), fragments (common manna), or thick droplets (fat manna).”(4) Do you find it fascinating that Abraham’s “covenant tree” produced shade for his offspring hundreds of years later and fed them with a substance called “manna”? What a picture! And yet, why wouldn’t God lead him to do this, giving us such a profound picture? After all, Abraham’s offspring produced Christ, heaven’s manna, the Bread of Life. Abraham was told from the very beginning that God’s promised blessings were not only for him, but for the world: “And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” (Genesis 12:2-3; NASB) Sadly, many believers cannot (or refuse to) see that the current ideological war in America is for the soul of a nation, raised up by God for spiritual purposes. It is truly a spiritual war. America IS called to be “a shining light, a city on a hill.” She IS to be a trumpet for God, taking and sending the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth. And, though some don’t like the following, our nation is called - with proper discretion and humility, of course - to be a deterrent for the spread of evil rule around the world. The great leader Ronald Reagan said of America: “You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”(5) Covenant with God produces life and blessing and with that comes responsibility. As America returns to her covenant roots she will once again prosper. We, the praying church, must facilitate this by using the power of covenant (the tamarisk tree staffs in Gina’s dream) to war against the evil forces attempting to destroy America. One of the ways we do this is by declaring the covenantal declarations made by our founding leaders. We have been doing this for the past three days. Let’s use some of these declarations of the past few days and declare them again. Pray and decree with me: We decree that America was raised up by God to be a city on a hill, a beacon of light to all nations. America was called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to all nations of the earth, and to serve all nations. We decree that America was founded by God, under an appeal to heaven, and an appeal to heaven will give us a rebirth! America is one nation, under God, a Christian nation. We have put our trust in Him and no other. We have no king but Jesus. The “Laws of Nature and of Nature's God;” an appeal to the “Supreme Judge of the world;” “the Creator;” and “divine Providence” are all in our Declaration of Independence. We decree that, as a part of this legal document beginning our nation, they remain true today. We declare them into the atmosphere of America! Leviticus 25:10 is on the Liberty Bell: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.” This verse, describing Christ as America’s Jubilee Redeemer, rang out at her birth announcing our faith and destiny. We declare its message over America again today: Christ is our Redeemer! Proclaiming His message is our purpose! We decree that Yahweh is our Lawgiver, our Judge and our King, and that our three branches of government were founded under this truth! They will return to this! We decree that His mercy over America endures forever, that His mercies are new every morning! We decree that He who began a good work in us will complete it, that He had a plan for our restoration before we even turned against Him! We decree that nothing can stop this turnaround because our trust is in God! It’s even on our money! We agree with it! We decree that God’s redeeming power is greater than satan’s deceiving lies, that His truth will prevail! We decree that salvation belongs to God and that He loves to save, taking no pleasure in judgment! We decree that satan is under our feet and that we are seated with Christ, far above all principalities, powers and rulers of darkness! We decree that we are Christ’s Ekklesia/government on earth and that we have His keys of authority to bind and loose, open and close. We decree that no weapon formed against this nation, nor against the purposes of God in our generation, will prosper! In paragraph four, I said that the word “covenant” is in the Declaration of Independence. Since I had referenced the Declaration of Independence already in the paragraph, one of my proofers assumed I was still talking about this document, and changed the word “declaration” to “Declaration of Independence.” I was not referring to that. I was referencing the statement made by Robert Hunt at Cape Henry in 1607. He used the word “covenant” in his declaration. I did not catch this late last night until I was actually recording the post, nor did my proofer. This is now corrected in the written post at GiveHim15.com.) THE TREE SHALL LIVE Yesterday I began discussing a significant dream given to our friend, Gina Gholston. Here is the dream again: “I dreamed I was with some prayer leaders, including Dutch Sheets. We walked through a field of tall grass and noticed a hill in front of us. This caught our attention because it was the only hill around us. The rest of the land was a level, grassy field. “On the top of the hill was a huge, very old, beautiful tree. We were so captivated by this tree that we decided to climb the hill to get a closer look. The tree was the only thing on the hill, and its canopy was so large that shade from it covered the entire hill. The ground around the tree was level, and the grass was tall and thick. “We were in awe of this beautiful tree, amazed at the size of the trunk and the massive expanse of its canopy. As we walked around the tree, looking up into the branches, someone tripped over what appeared to be a root protruding out of the ground. All of a sudden, these ‘roots’ appeared everywhere. Where there had been tall, thick grass, now there was no grass, and these ‘roots’ were laying all over the top of the ground. They had not been there when we first arrived. We were very puzzled by this, so I walked over and looked at one of them more closely. “As I did, I could see that the ‘root’ was moving. The movement had not been obvious until I looked more closely. I motioned for my friend to come to where I was standing, and whispered to her, ‘Watch this!’ We both could clearly see the ‘root’ was moving. “I walked over to Dutch and said, ‘These are not roots; they’re the backbones of demons. They are alive and are eating the root system of this beautiful tree.’ The demons didn’t realize we could see them, but their backbones were exposed and we could see their movements. “I then asked the prayer leaders, ‘What should we do about this?’ “Dutch replied, ‘I know what to do!’ He stepped away for a moment and then returned carrying a perfectly carved wooden staff. “Someone asked, ‘What is that?’ “I knew what he held and said, ‘This is a staff that has been carved from an old tamarisk tree. Tamarisks are evergreens.’ “Dutch nodded his head yes. He then handed the staff to me, and I walked over to one of the demon backbones. I struck it with the evergreen staff and, as I did, the demon vanished. I could physically hear the sound ‘poof;’ and it was gone. I began walking from ‘root’ to ‘root’ hitting them with the evergreen staff. I then looked at the other prayer leaders and noticed that they all now had staffs in their hands made from evergreens. They, too, were using the staffs to destroy the demons. Together, we shattered every demon and saved the tree.” End of dream. ******************* The large, beautiful tree high on the hill, surrounded by green grass, obviously represents America. Our nation has long been referred to as, “a city on a hill,” spoken of frequently by our nation’s founders and leaders. No less than 13 Presidents have used this phrase in referencing America. “‘A City upon a Hill’ is a phrase derived from the teaching of Salt and Light in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount (from Matthew 5:14). In a modern context, it is used in United States politics to refer to America acting as a "beacon of hope" for the world.(1) “This scripture was cited at the end of Puritan John Winthrop's lecture or treatise, ‘A Model of Christian Charity’ delivered on March 21, 1630, at Holyrood Church in Southampton before his first group of Massachusetts Bay colonists embarked on the ship Arbella to settle Boston.(2)(3) In quoting Matthew's Gospel (5:14) in which Jesus warns, ‘a city on a hill cannot be hid,’ Winthrop warned his fellow Puritans that their new community would be ‘as a city upon a hill, the eyes of all people are upon us,’ meaning, if the Puritans failed to uphold their covenant with God, then their sins and errors would be exposed for all the world to see: ‘So that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword through the world.’”(4) Could any warning have been more poignant and more true? The green grass around the tree represents the blessing and prosperity of God (Psalm 23:2). America has been blessed and exalted for centuries under God’s favor and blessings. In the dream, however, the green pastures had already disappeared and the roots were now being destroyed. It doesn’t take an arborist to know that a tree can still look and seem healthy for some time, even when the roots have begun to die. America is on life-support. Our covenant roots are dying. No honest person can deny this truth. Many in our government are dishonest, much of our education system is a joke, our financial health is hanging by a thread, our first and most fundamental right - freedom of speech - is being stolen, we kill our babies, the family unit has been decimated, we don’t know male from female, college professors are stating that pedophilia is healthy, kindergartners are being taught that they can change their gender, our president is mentally challenged and the laughingstock of the world, our history is being revised, and the church - God’s remedy for these evils - has become weak and a subculture, rather than being salt and light. Sadly, the list could go on. To state that the grass is no longer green and the roots of the tree are dying is an understatement of monumental proportions. Demons, in the dream, previously hidden underground and thinking they were still hidden, could now be seen destroying the roots of this great tree. This is such an accurate and horrifying portrayal of what is occurring in America! Through sin, compromise, lies, and deception, demons are destroying America’s godly roots. People are being used, of course, but the real cause behind America’s demise is demonic. While we must work to stop the plans and attempts of those attempting to destroy our nation, these attempts will fail if we don’t deal with the spiritual, demonic source. In the dream, their activity was exposed. God has been and continues to expose the corruption and evil in America. Many leaders have been saying this would occur. When the 2020 election was not turned around as so many hoped, I (one of many) began sensing and saying, “This delay is to bring exposure of the evil at work in America.” I knew God would now reveal evil, corruption, lies, and devious intentions. I didn’t foresee the absolute stupidity that would also be revealed. I’m not trying to be insulting or mean-spirited. There simply is no other way to describe many of the mindsets and plans manifesting in America. Many people are revealing themselves to be fools. In the dream, government didn’t save the tree roots. They cannot do so. Once the demonic activity is destroyed, government can be reformed and then be part of rebuilding our nation. But only prayer can save the roots. Church activities and programs, great preaching and teaching, evangelism programs and Bible studies; government leaders, actions and programs, better laws; changes in our education system; an honest media; these are all needed but none of it can save America. Please hear me: only God, through the power of prayer, including spiritual warfare, can save America. We must have a resurrection! And then the staffs appeared in the dream. Tamarisk tree staffs. The tamarisk tree is an evergreen. I posted about this yesterday. Evergreens symbolize covenant, just as they did in the life of Abraham and other cultures. Washington placed an evergreen tree on the Appeal To Heaven flag. God could not be more clear. America must return to her covenant roots. The praying church must war by decreeing and declaring God’s covenantal purposes for us. When we say what God says it is a powerful weapon against the enemy. Our words carry spiritual power. Speak and declare His written word, of course. Nothing is more powerful than His words given to us in scripture. But also declare the declarations and decrees made by our early founders and leaders, as we have spoken about in the previous two posts. Teach them to your children. Pastors should preach about our godly roots and purpose as a nation! BOLDLY! And yes, godly government leaders should quote these statements about God and our purpose as a nation, about our dependence on Him, of His influence in our founding - every chance they get. This is one of the weapons that will release the power needed to overcome the demonic onslaught. We should fill the heavens over America with these decrees. Let’s do so now. I also explained that there are different types and levels of covenant. Obviously, we as a nation do not have the same type of covenant with God that believers have through the blood of Jesus. The word for covenant in Scripture, however, has a much broader range of meaning than a blood covenant of this level. The Hebrew word for covenant is beriyth. It means “a compact, covenant, alliance, pledge, promise, treaty, agreement, league; a constitution, ordinance.” We can make covenant promises, agreements, and alliances with people which are binding in the sense of honor. We are bound by integrity and principle to keep our promise, our word. These promises are not a blood covenant but they must still be honored, at times even legally. A legal contract is a binding covenant. Homeowners make contracts - covenants - with other homeowners. They are not blood covenants but, nonetheless, they are binding. In the same sense, God sees promises He has made as covenantal. They are binding. He always keeps His word, honoring it above even His name (Psalm 138: 2). And we should consider our promises, agreements, and alliances with Him in the same way: they are covenantal. God does not have a blood covenant with America. Nor could there ever be an agreement with a nation that rises to the level of the covenant God made with people through the blood of Christ. But He HAS entered into a covenantal alliance with America. Our Founders made statements declaring we were a nation under His rule and that we existed for His purposes, not just our own. They formed a government under His rule and guidance, and declared their dependence on Him. Four times He is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. They appealed to Him for freedom and liberty. They wrote about Him in the Constitution and asked for His guidance and help when writing it. They planted a cross on the beach at Cape Henry and dedicated this land to His purposes and plan. They actually used the word “covenant” in the Declaration of Independence. They placed a Scripture on the Liberty Bell. These founders and leaders in America were motivated by and led by God. He was speaking through Robert Hunt at Cape Henry. He inspired the words on the Liberty Bell. He guided them as they wrote the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. He formed this nation and gave our framers the wisdom and language to use. No other document was quoted more by our Founders than the Bible. God was pleased with the outcome. He accepted this alliance and has blessed America because of her partnership with Him. This is all covenantal in nature. The word confession in Scripture, homologia, means “say the same thing.” There is power when we speak His words, saying what He says. This certainly refers to Scripture, but it refers to more than just Scripture. It refers to personal promises and prophetic words given to us. Paul told Timothy to war with the prophetic words spoken over him (1 Timothy 1:18). The promises He makes to us, which are often connected to His purposes for us, as they were with Timothy, have power. He wants and needs for us to agree with Him and say it! When I speak of warring with the covenant America has with God, this is what I am referring to. I am saying we must agree with and declare the prophetic words of our founders. We must decree the promises they made to God. And we must acknowledge with our words the covenantal alliance they made with Him and He made with us. This is what it means to war with covenant. The Appeal To Heaven flag has an evergreen tree on it. The evergreen tree symbolizes covenant, going all the way back to Abraham in Genesis 21:33. I began walking from ‘root’ to ‘root’ hitting them with the evergreen staff. I then looked at the other prayer leaders and noticed that they all now had staffs in their hands made from evergreens. They, too, were using the staffs to destroy the demons. Together, we shattered every demon and saved the tree.” End of dream. ******************* The tree represents America. I will say more about this dream in tomorrow’s post. Today, however, I just want to state the significance of the tamarisk evergreen tree staffs. Made of the same type evergreen Abraham used, the tamarisk tree, there can be no doubt that they represent covenant. As intercessors, it is by honoring and declaring our allegiance to God - our promises to Him, His promises to us, and our alliance with Him - that we will break the power of the demonic forces trying to destroy our nation. Let’s do so now, using the decrees we used yesterday. Prayer: We decree that America was founded by God, under an appeal to heaven, and that an appeal to heaven will give us a rebirth! We decree that we are a voice for Him to the ends of the earth, and the gospel of the kingdom will go forth from America to all people! We decree that we are a Christian nation, founded under Christ’s blood and rule, and that we have no king but Jesus! We decree that Yahweh is our Lawgiver, our Judge, and our King, and that our three branches of government were founded under this truth! (Isaiah 33:22) They will return to this! We decree we are a city on a hill, shining God’s light to all the earth, and that darkness will not win! We decree that God’s mercy over America endures forever, that His mercies are new every morning! We decree that He who began a good work in us will complete it, that God had a plan for our restoration before we even turned against Him! We decree that nothing can stop this turnaround because our trust is in God! This is even on our currency! We agree with it! We decree that God’s redeeming power is greater than satan’s deceiving lies, and that His truth will prevail! We decree that salvation belongs to God and that he loves to save, taking no pleasure in judgment! We decree that we are seated with Christ, and that satan is under our feet. We are far above all principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness! We decree that we are Christ’s Ekklesia/government on earth and that we have His keys of authority to bind and loose, open and close. We decree that no weapon formed against America, nor against the purposes of God in our generation, will prosper. 4 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-8-2022 February 8, 2022 The Power of Covenant I have pointed out in recent posts that the “Evergreen” boxing glove in the “Five Giants” dream (title: It’s Time to Put on the Gloves) represents covenant, and that this is what I believe the evergreen tree on the Appeal To Heaven flag represents. It certainly represented covenant in Abraham’s life, in the verse that pictures both gloves: Everlast and Evergreen (Genesis 21:33). I have said that we must war for America by drawing on the strength of and honoring our nation’s covenant with God. I’ve been feeling that I need to do a post explaining what I mean, and don’t mean by this. There are different types and levels of covenant. Most Christians use the word “covenant” only in reference to God’s covenant with Abraham and his offspring, or when referring to the New Covenant we enjoy through Christ. Because of this, many shy away from believing America is in a covenant relationship with God. The word for covenant in Scripture, however, has a much broader range of meaning. The Hebrew word is beriyth. It means “a compact, covenant, alliance, pledge, promise, treaty, agreement, league; a constitution, ordinance.” These usages can refer to an agreement between individuals, as in a marriage or a friendship. The word also refers to a covenant, contract, or alliance between nations. Israel even made a covenant with death (Isaiah 28:15, 18)! And, of course, it is used to describe covenants with God. Simply stated, a covenant is a sacred and binding agreement or promise between two or more parties. Obviously, there are different levels and strengths of covenants. In God’s eyes, a marriage covenant is obviously more binding than two friends promising to stick with one another. He always expects us to keep our word, but we do not become one with someone through a friendship covenant. The old and new covenants in scripture obviously rise to higher levels than most other covenants. Abraham’s covenant with God also rises above most others. The new covenant through Christ’s blood stands above all covenants. When I state that America is in covenant with, or has a covenant with God, I am NOT saying God entered into the type of covenant with us that He did Abraham. And I’m certainly not equating it to a covenant like unto what we enjoy with God through Christ. And I’m not implying that it is based on a blood sacrifice of some sort. I AM saying that early Pilgrims, settlers, and Founders in America entered into sacred alliances and agreements with God. They did so through prayers, promises, and written documents - including our founding documents, which made the agreements legally binding. Our Founders made sacred, covenantal promises to function under God’s government and care, to serve His purposes, and to honor Him. This was accepted by God because they based it on Christ’s sacrifice and the Scriptures. It was also accepted because God Himself inspired and motivated the actions! America absolutely has covenant agreements with God and covenant promises from God! He still honors them, and as we “intercessorily” declare them they are powerful. We can agree and decree with Hunt’s Cape Henry declaration that the gospel will go from these shores to all the nations of the earth. We can declare and decree with Congress that we are a nation under God. We can decree with Franklin and the Continental Congress that the God of providence founded us and will finish what He started. WE CAN TAKE OUT GIANTS WITH THESE DECLARATIONS! It is little wonder that satanic forces are trying to revise our history. Satan knows covenant roots are powerful. He knows God keeps covenant and mercy. He knows this “boxing glove” has power, a power he has no answer for. We must use this glove! Do not be distracted by the lies and indoctrination of the left. They will lose. God will win. They cannot steal our history unless we allow it, and we will not do so. Hold fast to it and use it in your prayers. Tomorrow we will look at another strong dream which references the strength of our covenantal roots. You won’t want to miss it. God is way ahead of the times, seeing and declaring the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). He is the only individual who doesn’t start at the beginning. God starts at the end, backs up to the beginning, and implements His plan. This means He is never caught by surprise or off-guard. It also means He knows how He will solve problems…before they even manifest! Yahweh is not taken back by the failures of people and nations, knowing they would occur beforehand. When He calls a person - or a nation - to a purpose, God realizes He will have to navigate through their mess-ups, just as He did with Abraham and the nation of Israel. According to Hebrews 11:3, God has already decreed the aligning and realigning of the ages; the correct translation is: “Through faith, we understand that the ages were aligned by the word [declarations] of God…” Before Adam’s fall, Jesus was the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). That means the Incarnation, the Cross, and Christ’s Resurrection were planned before Adam’s fall ever occurred. I share this to assure you that God has a plan for America’s turnaround. He knew the failures and sins our nation would commit before we committed them, and has also declared our turnaround. Satan’s reactionary plans and schemes are no match for God’s omniscience and foreknowledge. This foreknowledge also means God is moving on many fronts, of course. While He is implementing His pre-planned works in America, He is doing so in other nations, in the church, and in individuals, preparing them for His plan. When all is ready, He shifts everything into a phase of convergence: ripe harvest fields; nations positioned; the church equipped; angels assigned. This is all seen in the book of Esther. The Jews’ very existence was threatened when wicked Haman, one of King Ahasuerus’ trusted officials, manipulated the king into issuing a decree for the annihilation of the Jews. Upon learning of Haman’s decree, Esther, a Jewish woman chosen by King Ahasuerus to be his queen, exposed Haman’s plan. She broke protocol to appeal to the king in a courageous attempt to protect her people. The king granted Esther’s request and, instead of the Jews, Haman was executed. The day after Haman’s decree was reversed, the Feast of Purim was inaugurated. The Hebrew word for turnaround is haphak: “to overturn, overthrow, turnaround, transform, be reversed.” The following verses from Esther 9 include this word: “…when the king’s command and edict were about to be executed, on the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery over them, it was turned to the contrary so that the Jews themselves gained the mastery over those who hated them.” (v. 1) “Because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and it was a month which was turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and rejoicing....” (v. 22) “But when it came to the king’s attention, he commanded by letter that his wicked scheme, which he had devised against the Jews, should return on his own head and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.” (v. 25) The Message translation of Esther 9:25 uses a powerful analogy to convey the significance of what transpired: “But when Queen Esther intervened with the king, he gave written orders that the evil scheme that Haman had worked out should boomerang back on his own head.” God had planned ahead. Before Haman ever conceived his evil plan to destroy the Jews, God aligned people, events, and time. The book of Esther is an easy and interesting read - check it out. You will find that God orchestrated events, timing, the choosing of a queen, sleep patterns, favor to individuals, the uncovering of evil plans, rescues, and more. The end result was the saving of the nation and the furthering of God's plans on earth. I believe Holy Spirit is doing again this year what He did in Esther’s day. He is moving us into convergence and a time of divine reversals! This is a year of great turnaround, when God intervenes powerfully on behalf of His people, and the enemy is overthrown as his plans boomerang back on his own head! Of course, the Hebrew word haphak is not only found in the book of Esther, but throughout the scriptures. Deuteronomy 23:5 uses the word to describe the turning of Balaam’s curse over the Jewish people into a blessing. Jeremiah 31:13 and Isaiah 61:3 use the word in reference to turning mourning into joy. This season’s turnaround will occur for individuals, families, regions, and nations. Unrest will certainly continue and the scriptures assure us that evil will, as well. But great harvest will also occur and areas of unrest will give way to righteousness—even in the darkest regions. There will be awakening and revivals in places where they have never existed. We must recognize, however, that the Lord is inviting us to partner with Him in releasing these supernatural boomerangs into the earth. When King Ahasuerus extended his scepter over Esther’s life and favor was released, he invited her to write her own decree of victory. The decree was to be written in his name and sealed with his seal so that it could never be reversed. Likewise, the Lord has extended His scepter of grace and favor over us. He is inviting us to exercise His authority, by making reversal decrees concerning the very things satan has decreed over our lives in past seasons. Be it sickness, poverty, the pain of divorce, depression, or any other form of oppression, our decrees will reverse them! His word tells us: “You will also decree a thing and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28) “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:9-10) The Lord is inviting us to shift from merely petitioning Him, to also making decrees (official orders, edicts, or decisions), declarations (announcements or formal statements), and proclamations (the process of binding and loosing) as we are inspired by Holy Spirit to do so. The power of God’s decreed word is extraordinary..! It releases His creativity, His salvation, and yes, His judgments! He rules through His words, and so must we. As the Lord causes the strategies of the enemy to be overthrown, He will also bring us into a season of victory, celebration, and rest. This rest does not imply the ceasing of activity, but a peaceful and joyful trust in the Lord. It is the place from which we derive renewed strength to move forward. This scriptural passage comes to mind: “He gives strength to the weary,
 and to him who lacks might He increases power.
 Though youths grow weary and tired,
 and vigorous young men stumble badly,
 yet those who wait for the Lord
 will gain new strength;
 they will mount up with wings like eagles,
 they will run and not get tired,
 they will walk and not become weary.” (Isaiah 40:29-31) These past 2 years have been years of great turmoil for many individuals, families, businesses, communities, ministries, and nations. As a result, hopelessness has set in, vision has been clouded, strategies have been wanting, and forward movement has been delayed. Yet, I concur with the prophets - this is a turnaround year! Regardless of how great was your hardship, betrayal, sickness or loss, I declare that this is your year of breakthrough! You will see a reversal of the enemy’s decrees and strategies enacted against you. Stand confidently upon the Lord’s promise of divine intervention; He has been working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28)! This year, God will cause light to break forth from darkness, turn curses into blessings, and mourning into joy. Through the adversity of the past, the Lord has been preparing you for the fulfillment of His promises over your life! And from a new place of celebration, victory, and rest, the Lord desires that you partner with Him to help facilitate a righteous turnaround in this nation. You were born for such a time as this! Pray with me: Father, we exalt You as Lord, not only of the nations, but also over time. You change the times and seasons, orchestrating events to align with Your purposes. We declare confidently that You are greater than the forces of evil on the earth, that Your wisdom is higher, and that Your abilities are without measure. We know that You have decreed the turnaround of America and how this will occur, and You have decreed a great outpouring of Your Spirit in our day. Just as You turned around Haman‘s attempt to destroy the Jewish nation, You will turn around satan‘s attempt to destroy Your purposes in our day, as well. We accept the Esther decree: we were born for such a time as this. Help us now to rise to our calling and assignment, partnering with You and Your great plan. We proclaim breakthrough in Your people, breakthrough in our nation, and breakthrough on the earth. Give us a turnaround in our government, courts, education, and media. Give us a reversal of Roe versus Wade. And we ask for this confidently, in Christ’s name, amen. Our decree: We decree that Haman will be hanged on his own gallows..!
