My brother is one of those voices. After hundreds of hours of study, God has also given him an unusual ability to understand how angels operate in the spirit world, assisting us as we partner with God. Here is a word Tim Sheets recently shared: “We are in significant days, walking out the strategy of our Lord; it is imperative that we press in to hear what He is saying. The Ekklesia must accept the responsibility of engaging and decreeing His Word as we move into the next season. “I asked Holy Spirit recently to show me what He is currently speaking and He gave me a vision. In this vision I saw a map of the United States of America, along with many other nations of the world. As I looked at the map, I began to see a display of fireworks. Each one shot up into the sky in a streak of light and exploded. I heard the Lord say, ‘Today, we launch the strike force of the angel armies.’ I then began to see seraphim and government angels, along with other angel divisions, going forth on assignments. I realized the shooting fireworks had actually been angels of light. From each state and many other nations, I had seen angels shooting up in streaks of light. The explosions I saw were promises, prophetic words, dreams, visions, and declarations from believers. [End of vision] “After the vision the Lord said, ‘The angels of Lord Sabaoth are now launched to explode and activate. There will be explosions of promises, dreams, visions and prophetic words coming to pass. This is a Kingdom event for Ekklesias around the world. It is time for My Ekklesia to engage with me and declare what I say. Angels are activating to release an explosion of the Kingdom of God.’ “We have been told of a shaking that will begin to reset our nation; this vision and word is a revelation and confirmation that this significant breakthrough is coming. The responsibility of the Ekklesia at this time is to be bold and aggressively use our spiritual weapons. Prayers and decrees are weapons of warfare, mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). “Wars are never won through reticent effort. The King’s Ekklesia is being called to engage demonic agendas and stop them. We are being called to proceed against cultural, governmental and educational evils. The King’s command is for us to advance, not hide in fear, and follow Him into battle. “During this season, Holy Spirit is saying to us, as He did the prophet Jeremiah, ‘You have no reason to fear the people you speak to, for I am with you and will defend you. I will touch your mouth and give you My divine message! Look, I have placed My words in your mouth. You will know what to say. You will be My voice. This very day I appoint you to speak with My authority over nations and kingdoms. Your word - My word - will have the power to uproot and stamp out; it will destroy and upend. And then your word - My word - will rebuild and plant anew’ (Jeremiah 1:8-10, The Voice Translation). “God is going to use us, His Ekklesia, to upend and uproot by boldly declaring His words. Philippians 1:28 (NLT) says, ‘Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.’ “One of the greatest signs of defeat to our enemies is when we, the body of Christ, stand fearless and unintimidated. We must refuse to be bullied by our adversary; we know he is a defeated foe. “Recently, Holy Spirit spoke the following to me, ‘I have prepared and will now show the world the strength of the Lord of hosts. My strong arm will be seen overpowering and defeating the forever loser through a functioning Ekklesia. My Ekklesia will now enter a time of acceleration when prophetic words, promises, dreams and visions intersect their moment. I will activate the assignments I gave them. And as My Ekklesia engages in prayer, decrees and corresponding actions, functioning in My original intent and purpose for its being, it will connect to a supernatural moment. This is a moment I have planned, for revival and reformation. Strength will multiply. Doors will open. Changes will surge. Transformation of times will come. Crooked paths will straighten. Realignment to right ways will manifest. Restoration of paths of righteousness will be rebuilt.' “‘Move forward into My moment. Move forward into your moment. My move, your move. My word, your word. My victory, Your victory! Engage with purpose into this moment. Engage the battle, says the Lord.’ “We must now be bold and fearless, not passive onlookers. We must live in the fear of the Lord, not the fear of man. Like Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and countless other heroes of faith, we must shake off all passivity and stand strong. No bowing to Baal. No bowing to wickedness, perversion, mutilators of children, demon doctrines, government intimidation, insane ideas, lies, or antichrist agendas. We must embrace a true Kingdom of God mindset and a remnant warrior’s mentality. “We must remove all cowardice and passivity that acts as leaven and spreads. We cannot yield to an inappropriate acceptance of evil, calling it love; evil breeds loathsome oppression, cruelty, the destruction of families and children, and the annihilation of destinies. Sin never brings peaceful solutions; it kills, steals and destroys. King Jesus says it’s time to engage, battle and stand strong. “Ephesians 6:10-18 (NKJV) speaks of putting on the whole armor of God in order to stand against the wiles of the devil. This passage is timely for this current season in which we have been called to fight for the cause of Christ. “The word ‘against’ in verse 10 is the Greek word pro.(1) It actually means to ‘step forward.’ Our word for a professional, a ‘pro,’ comes from this Greek word. A pro is someone that is a step forward from others. The Ekklesia is being called to advance for the Kingdom of God. When you see principalities, step forward. When you see the powers of darkness, step forward. When you see the rulers of the darkness of this age, step forward. When you see spiritual wickedness in high places, step forward. “Holy Spirit is calling out to His Ekklesia: engage and step forward!” Let’s Pray with Tim: Lord, thank You for breathing truth, revelation and strategy to us. We pray that the season we have been contending, crying out and believing for would begin to unfold. We pray for a divine outpouring and infusion of heaven’s power, a power that can change everything. We ask for strength and great boldness. In Acts 2, Your power came from heaven and believers’ voices were amplified, allowing them to speak with Kingdom authority and governing language. Their authority went to a different level, and we are asking You to do this again. Cause the Ekklesia to step forward and reign supernaturally. Loose the explosion of promises, dreams, and visions that have now come to their divinely planned moments. May this be a time when we embrace what You say. We declare our faith and confidence is in You. We step forward for such a time as this. Cause Your Ekklesia to rise up and oppose evil, supernaturally upending the strategies of hell. We will not relent. We will be tenacious and bold for Your cause. We continue to pray regarding the situation in the Middle East. We ask for a quick end to this violence. We bind the prince of Persia’s/Iran’s efforts to steal, kill, and destroy. We break the power of this stronghold off the region, and loose the breath of God to the region. We declare the victory of Calvary over it. We declare that God has freed the descendents of Isaac and Ishmael from darkness and deception through the power of the blood of Jesus. Arise in that region, Lord, scatter Your enemies. Let Your light come and Your glory rise upon the people. We ask for angels to help bring the fruit of this. All of this we decree and ask in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. Our decree: We decree the launching of angel armies throughout the world to bring the fulfillment of promises, dreams, visions and prophetic words. He urges us to take advantage of the momentum created in the midterm elections. At this moment in history, leaders in the church must be as passionate as the recent Representatives who stood up to others in Congress, demanding change. Larry begins with a powerful quote from William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army: “‘I’m not waiting for a move of God. I am a move of God!’(1) *********************** “One of the oldest books I possess was written over 150 years ago by General William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army. ‘In Darkest England and the Way Out’ is a classic manual outlining God’s strategy for turnaround in a nation. Knowing that the only hope for America in our dark time is another Great Awakening, we should celebrate the midterm elections as a sign of God’s intervention to set our nation back on the right track. This can occur as we follow ‘the General’s’ example of personal passion for God, which helps ignite nationwide revival and reformation. “I just returned from a roundtable of senior leaders in California, led by one of my closest and longest friends, Dr. Che Ahn. In his latest book, Turning Our Nation Back to God Through Historic Revival, Che says the following: ‘Our world is in desperate need of revival. In this crucial moment of time, I am convinced that revival - true historic revival - is on God’s agenda. I believe we are being offered a divine invitation by God right now, as He is beckoning us to recognize the amazing and powerful ways He has moved in the past, so that we can act as a bridge in the Spirit to contend for an even greater move of God in our generation. What God has done before, He will surely do again!’ Unifying, Not Fearing Christian Nationalism “The midterm victory presents traditional conservatives with a wonderful opportunity to come together in unity for God’s purposes to be fulfilled. ‘But be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment’ (1 Corinthians 1:10). Don’t fall for the media-created ‘Christian Nationalism’ label designed to put fear in godly, patriotic Americans and cause a hesitation to stand up for our Judeo-Christian heritage! “Living in turbulent times characterized by a departure from the Biblical foundations upon which our nation was established, it’s important that we pledge to remain steadfast in fervent prayer, faithful proclamation of the Gospel, and fidelity to restoring our nation. This is essential in order to see national repentance and the spiritual awakening for which we pray. Following Our Founders “‘When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people…’ - with these words our Declaration of Independence begins. “The signers continued by affirming ‘Nature’s God,’ ‘self-evident truths’ and our ‘Creator.’ Then our brave Forefathers, putting their very lives on the line, ended their statement of convictions by declaring, ‘with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.’(2) “At another historic moment, a courageous leader named Nehemiah led the people of God in a similar pledge, recorded in the Bible (Nehemiah 10:28-39). They promised to uphold marriage as God intended (v30) and ‘obey carefully all the commands, regulations, and decrees of the Lord our God’ (v20). “It’s time for patriotic, principled men and women who love and fear God to do likewise. I submit the following framework for our pledge of solidarity to capitalize on the momentum of this moment. OUR SOLIDARITY PLEDGE “We Pledge to Obey God, Not Government, Regarding the Sanctity of Life and Marriage. “Scripture tells us, ‘Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind’ (Romans 12:2). Therefore, any secular rulings contrary to God’s will for unborn babies, marriage and family cannot be honored by His obedient children. We will remain charitable but resolute that we will not capitulate. “The most innocent and defenseless in our midst must always be protected and given ‘the right to life.’ And since the Bible begins and ends with marriage, we will remain faithful to uphold natural marriage between a man and a woman. The two legs upon which our society stands are these: the sanctity of life and the sanctity of marriage. “We Pledge to Honor Our Nation’s Scriptural - Not Secular - Heritage. “Our Founding Fathers established our nation on Judeo-Christian foundations and pledged obedience to God and His standards. As a result, we’ve been blessed like no nation in history. “Until recent generations, we basically remained faithful. Now, however, we find ourselves seriously adrift from those principles that made America great. We pledge our efforts, with humility, to reclaim our godly heritage as ‘one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.’ “Founding father, Daniel Webster, reminds us: ‘If we and our posterity shall be true to the Christian religion, if we and they shall be always in the fear of God, and shall respect His commandments, if we and they shall maintain just moral sentiments and such conscientious convictions of duty as shall control the heart and life, we may have the highest hopes of the future fortunes of our country…but if we and our posterity reject religious institutions and authority, violate the rules of eternal justice, trifle with the injunctions of morality, and recklessly destroy the political constitution which holds us together, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us, that shall bury all our glory in profound obscurity.’(3) “We Pledge to Trust in God’s Protection Amidst Judgment, While Praying for Spiritual Awakening. “The prophet Ezekiel was a ‘watchman on the wall’ who warned people of impending judgment for continuing to violate God’s righteous standards. Child sacrifice and disregarding divine standards for marriage and family brought discipline intended to turn people back to God. “For the remnant who remained faithful, God reassured them that amidst severe punishment, righteous ones like Noah, Daniel, and Job were supernaturally protected (Ezekiel 14:14). May we stand on their shoulders and experience similar deliverance. “In the meantime, we must heed the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14: ‘If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’ “Like our forefathers, we should encourage one another and declare in unison: ‘With a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.’”(4) I choose to make this pledge with Larry. We must do more than glibly quote, “Freedom is not free;” we must LIVE like we believe it. Whatever the cost, we must pay it at this time in our nation. God, our grandchildren - and a billion souls - will thank us. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for early heroes of the faith like Ezekiel and Nehemiah, later ones such as Daniel Webster and America's Founders, spiritual leaders like William and Catherine Booth, and many more. We also thank You for modern heroes of the faith like Che Ahn, Larry Tomczak, and others like them who contend earnestly for the faith delivered to us. Raise up a new generation of heroes. Give us leaders with strong backbones, passionate hearts, biblical foundations, and selfless motivations. In his book, Che calls this season a “crucial moment of time.” We agree with him that we are “being offered a divine invitation by You right now…What You have done before You will surely do again!” We pray that many in the Church will respond to this challenge from Larry. It is so basic and fundamental that we should all embrace it. The God who intends to arise and see His enemies scattered at this point in world history will first have to arise in the hearts of His people. May we, like William Booth, BECOME “a move of God!” As always, we ask these things in the only name that gives us access to You, Father: Jesus. Our Decree: We decree that a remnant - a growing remnant - is arising. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/january-23-2023 January 23, 2023 A History Making Moment Several years ago, Holy Spirit challenged me with the statement: “You can either make history, or you can sit back and watch it being made.” Someone will write the history of our generation; the only question is, who. My challenge to the church of our day is to partner with God and write the history He desires for our generation. Acts 13:36 tells us that David served the purpose of God in his generation. What an epitaph! Holy Spirit recently dealt with our friend, Gina Gholston, about history making. Gina shares: ************** “The past several months seem to have ushered many into a deepening passion for the awakening, which has begun to broaden in scope and increased momentum. There’s an unshakeable feeling that we have crossed into the unfolding of a history-making moment. As a matter of fact, the Lord recently said to me, ‘The year 2023 will be one for the history books.’ “A few days ago, I was having lunch with some friends. During our conversation, I shared with them a revelation the Lord once gave me about ‘marked moments.’ Through that revelation, He helped me understand there are some things He leads us to do that, in that particular time, may seem to make no sense to our human understanding. But He assured me, saying, ‘Those times of obedience are pieces of a bigger picture. In and of themselves, they may seem to be irrelevant and even senseless, but there will come a time when I will put all the pieces together, and you will understand why each part was necessary.’ We are each on a journey with the Lord, and as we follow Him in faith and obedience, He leads us according to His plan. Even when we don’t understand the steps, we must stay the course so that, in the right time, the parts can be placed to form the whole of God’s intentions. “As I shared this revelation with my friends that day, I heard myself say, ‘This is the time when the pieces are coming together.’ Instantly, we all knew Holy Spirit had come to the table and entered our conversation. We all felt His presence, and the weight of those words was undeniable. ‘The pieces are coming together.’ That means we have moved into a ‘big picture’ moment. Something has been completed, and now the purpose for those ‘marked moments’ will begin to be revealed, and we’ll be so thankful that we took the journey! “The big picture not only validates our faith walk in times past, but also unveils understanding that lends itself to prophetic insight for where we are going. Moses stood before twelve men he had sent to scope out the land to determine Israel’s next move. Ten of them said, ‘We can’t take that land. The giants are huge and we are grasshoppers compared to them.’ However, Joshua and Caleb had received a revelation of the big picture. They reported, ‘This is what it’s all been about. Everything God has done has led us to this moment. His hand is good upon us, and we are well able to possess what He has promised.’ The pieces had come together, and the ‘big picture’ had made them acutely aware it was now time to cross over and take the land. “Their arrival in the land did not mean their journey was done or everything would be easy from that point forward. The journey would continue, and there were battles to fight, but the journey had shifted from circling the familiar path around the mountain to moving into the land God said they could and would possess. It was definitely a history making moment! “God is saying to us, ‘The pieces are coming together.’ A shift has occurred, and we are feeling the provocation of the Lord to focus forward with new perspective. It’s not a time to settle or wrongly assess the future and our ability to step into it victoriously. It’s time to be bold and courageous, and possess the land! “Recently, I saw a vision of a ravine. On one side of the ravine, I could see a pathway that was covered with glory, but the way across the ravine was a tightrope. I could see a line of people who would walk up to the edge. They wanted to go to the other side but feared crossing on the tightrope, so they walked away. “I heard a voice that thundered, saying, ‘Trust the Lord, and fear not!’ A few of the people then began to take steps onto the tightrope. As they did, angels began surrounding them, assisting them as they crossed over. I then heard the Lord say, ‘You are now at a critical point. Your past obedience has led you to this moment and has created a supply for your future, but you must choose to go over the chasm. I have provided a way, but it requires you to completely trust in Me. Your first steps will take a courageous act of faith, but as you move forward, you will find that I have provided divine assistance. I have commanded the hosts to assist you, and they hearken unto My voice. I have placed My Spirit within you, and as you listen to My voice and leading, the narrow way won’t seem so daunting. For those who choose to trust Me and fear not, will find strength and an ability to traverse the tight places and enter the way that is filled with My manifested glory.’ “I believe the Lord is saying to the remnant who will boldly proceed with trust in Him, ‘The culmination of all you have heard, seen, believed, and done is about to become the catapult that will launch you into a greater encounter, power, and effectiveness!’ “All this being said, I have that feeling you get when you are sitting in the seat of an airplane. You’re buckled in, awaiting the inevitable ‘take off.’ You feel the momentum increase as you leave the gentle taxiing down the runway! Suddenly, the engines roar, and the adrenaline kicks in as you gain speed! The thrust then leads to lift-off, and everything you planned, prepared for, talked about, learned about, and anticipated just got very real. And the remembrance of all the steps and preparation leading to this moment provokes a confident assurance that whatever is ahead, you are ready! There’s nothing but forward! “Yeah, this feels just like that kind of moment! The pieces are coming together, and it’s time for take-off into this history making year!” ********** Pray with me: Father, You have taught us through our past experiences that You are faithful, able, and ever-present. Now, the culmination of all that we have seen, heard, learned, and experienced is catapulting us into this history-making moment. The pieces are coming together to reveal the big picture of Your intentions, and we are equipped and ready to step into it. Fear is not an option. The hosts of Heaven have hearkened unto Your voice to assist us. Holy Spirit is guiding us, imparting Your well-timed wisdom, empowering us to successfully navigate the journey ahead. The time to go forward is now, and no matter what the days ahead may bring, we are confident You are with us every step of the way, and we are well able to possess the fullness of all You have promised. Amen! Our decree: Our trust is in the Lord. We will not fear! He has strengthened us, enabling us to traverse the tight places, entering the way filled with His glory. * 7 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-6-2022 October 6, 2022 Raise the Standard..! In yesterday's post I spoke of young, prophetic revivalists being raised up in this season. (“Young” is getting older as I “mature.”) I mentioned my friend, Larry Sparks, as being one of these voices. In today’s post, I want to share from Larry’s great book on revival, entitled Pentecostal Fire. This is truly one of the best books I’ve read on this subject. I can’t recommend it strongly enough. In Chapter 2, Larry says: “‘Tell My Ekklesia to raise the bar, and I’ll raise the anointing. Raise the bar, and I’ll pour out a fresh, new Pentecost greater than Acts 2.’ (1) “This is a prophetic statement that the Holy Spirit communicated to Pastor Tim Sheets (Oasis Church, Middletown, Ohio). Pastor Bill Johnson emphatically states that ‘Pentecost is the standard for church life.’ (2) When we deviate from the standard, we rob believers of walking in their supernatural Holy Spirit inheritance… “Scripture tells me that ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever’ (Hebrews 13:8). It tells me that it is possible for someone’s shadow to heal the sick, for anointed pieces of clothing to deliver the demonized, and for extraordinary miracles to be performed by the hands of ordinary people (see Acts 5:15; 19:11-12). It tells me that it’s possible for entire cities and regions to come to repentance (see John 3:6, Acts 8:8). Jesus Himself provokes us to believe for ‘greater works’ (John 14:12). But there is one thing the Bible does not tell me: ‘God stopped moving in power.’ I cover this extensively in my book Accessing the Greater Glory, but in short, there is no solid theological argument to legitimately affirm the ceasing of the supernatural power of God (commonly called cessationism). Often, critics of the continuing move of the Spirit, especially through power gifts of tongues, healing, and prophecy, cite that these unusual demonstrations of God ceased when the canon of Scripture was closed, and the last apostle died. We are not claiming any additions to the canon of Scripture, nor do we assert that any leader today, especially those who don the title ‘apostle,’ come anywhere close to the uniqueness established by the original twelve apostles. We simply believe that Jesus established a timeless model that the early church boldly demonstrated and the church today has an invitation to step into. Doing Things God’s Way “‘If we want a genuine revival, we will have to do things God’s way,’ says John Kilpatrick (3) “We have tried Christianity our way, and it hasn’t worked. My friend, revivalist, and author Jessi Green encourages people to perform an honest evaluation on their faith and ask: ‘Is your Christianity working?’ When I consider where we are right now in history, I am convinced that contemporary Christianity hasn’t performed up to the standard set in the Book of Acts. God has graciously blessed us with a level of success, seeing people genuinely converted. He is so kind, gracious, and merciful. I celebrate all the true progress that has been made. But as the world grows darker and society continues to plummet into unspeakable depths of chaos and depravity, we become increasingly aware that the solution is not trying to repackage the world using Christian jargon. They simply don’t want it. “Isaiah 60:2 speaks of people who are under the influence of ‘deep’ or thick darkness. This certainly speaks of the innumerable souls who wander through life without Christ, without hope. They are bombarded with darkness day after day. When they cross the threshold into our churches, they do not want Hollywood or Broadway. They don’t want Christian leaders to insult them by trying to give them a worldly church. We have been entrusted with the otherworldly in the Person of the Holy Spirit; let’s freely give as we have freely received. I repeat, people who don’t know Jesus, or have moved away from Christianity, are not seeking entertainment; they groan to encounter the real and living presence of God… Pentecost Looks Like Something “The Lord is calling us to raise the standard so that we can witness a greater demonstration of Holy Spirit anointing and power in our day. If we have low expectations for Christianity, we will continue to settle for a low demonstration. But what if we actually believed that the Book of Acts gave us a standard for what life should be like? What if Pentecost was the standard for Christianity throughout all periods in history, not just the first-century Church? “This book is a journey back to the priorities of the early Church, the priorities of Pentecost, as I am convinced Pentecost will serve as a prophetic blueprint for the end-time Church. We must recapture the fire that burned in the first three hundred years of Christianity if we are going to step into the greater works that Jesus announced would be possible to those filled with the Holy Spirit. “Jesus had a clear vision of what the Church should look like prior to His return. Paul articulates this to the Church in Ephesus by giving us this beautiful picture of what the Son of God is searching for at His Second Coming: ‘So that He might sanctify her [the Church, His Bride], having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the Church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless’ (Ephesians 5:26-27 NASB). Meditate on that one stunning phrase: ‘the Church in all her glory.’ Wow! He is not coming back for something that is breaking down and falling apart. Pastor Kim Owens boldly declares that ‘Jesus is coming back for a Church that’s in revival.’ On the basis of Ephesians 5, I would agree with that statement. He is coming back for a people that are filled with glory! “We need to define Pentecost clearly if we are going to use it as the standard and model for Christianity today. After all, many hear the word Pentecost and think of either a denomination or a certain ‘flavor’ of Christianity. Pentecost is not a personality. Pentecost is not a preference or style of church. Pentecost is not a denomination. Pentecost was not a dispensation or era. Pentecost was not in the back room; it was front and center. Pentecost was the way of life for the early Church. And Pentecost introduces us to the more of God that is available now. “Many believers today are living like the disciples in Acts 19. They simply do not know there is more of God for them to experience: ‘And it happened while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples, he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit”’ (Acts 19:1-2). “By using the phrase ‘there is more,’ I am not encouraging you to go outside the confines of Scripture to seek for some unbiblical experience. Far from it. For too long we have read the Bible at a distance, thinking such supernatural experiences were exclusive to the Bible days. The canon is closed, but God has not changed. When did we officially exit the so-called Bible days? “Francis Chan wrote in his prophetic book Letters to the Church that ‘We have become too easily satisfied. We are content if a person leaves [church] pleased. God wants them awed.’ (4) It’s time for a generation to experience a God who leaves us undone in breathless awe and wonder. Perhaps we have not seen more of these kinds of experiences in our present day because we have not even considered them as an option. Thus, we have comfortably resigned ourselves to a status quo spiritual existence, all the while longing inside for someone to provoke us to pursue the more. “The great British preacher and orator Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones poignantly reminded us that ‘We were never meant to be content with a little.’ My friend, there is more. It’s available, and it’s accessible!” Pray with me: Father, as Larry makes clear in his book, revival is not off somewhere in the distance; it is here now. Help us to catch up with You. Turn up the revelation dial, enabling the church to recognize the times and seasons. Awaken our faith to embrace the opportunity before us. Break us out of comfort zones, preconceived ideas, religious routines, and hesitancy to change. Renew our wineskins, making them flexible and ready to receive Your “now” words and activities. We decree now what You have stated prophetically to us, “It is time!” We ask for the fire to intensify, the revival fires we spoke of in yesterday’s post…the fires You showed in a dream, beginning in Florida and going all the way up the East Coast of America. But others have seen this fire spread westward, and also from the west coast back to the east. It is clear that You want Your revival fire everywhere in this country. We call forth this fire with our declarations of faith and in agreement with Your words. Send it now, we pray. Raise up many prophetic revivalists in our day. Do it here in America and around the world. May the greatest generation of revivalists in history be unleashed. Give them great wisdom, boldness, revelation, power, and zeal. Perform great miracles through them, extraordinary miracles, and use them to produce shocking deliverances. Save a billion souls through them! May it be said of them as it was the early church, “They turned their world upside down.” We pray and decree these things in the most powerful name in heaven and earth, Yeshua, our Messiah. Amen. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-4-2022 August 4, 2022 Stay Focused I want to share some thoughts today regarding Tuesday’s vote in Kansas. I am doing so today rather than yesterday, simply because all GH15 posts must be written and recorded the day before they are released. Therefore, yesterday’s post was recorded Tuesday afternoon, before Tuesday’s vote was finished. Of course, I am deeply disappointed with the outcome of the vote in Kansas. Yet, we must remember that when dealing with the free wills of people, we are never given the authority to control them, only to influence them. Given that fact, we don’t always experience the results we want, just as God Himself doesn’t. For example, it is not His will that any perish spiritually, yet many do (see Matthew 18:14). I am quite sure that in response to our prayers, God did everything He could to change the will and thinking of many voters. He simply cannot always do so. Jesus could not change the heart of Judas, even after living and traveling with him for three years. Christ wept over Jerusalem because of their blindness and impending judgment (see Luke 19:41). He had tried to reach them, but could not. Does this mean time spent praying for those who will not change is wasted? Does it mean we were wrong to conduct prayer gatherings and encourage people to pray for Kansas? Of course not. This is no different than preaching the gospel to a person or people, only to have them reject it. We are required to do what is just and right, even while knowing we will not always see the desired outcome. And God is faithful to give people a choice. Though we did not see the results we wanted, we can be sure God has stored up our prayers for Kansas and will still use them at the right time (see Revelation 5:8). To the people in Kansas and around the nation who fought for the babies, I simply say, “You did well and must continue to fight for them.” After the reversing of Roe, this ongoing battle for life was to be expected. As insane as it is, one of the greatest battles of our time is for the lives of unborn babies. And even after experiencing setbacks, we must continue to fight spiritually and legislatively - just as we continue to preach the gospel, even though some reject it. It is often stated that elections have consequences. They do, and those results sometimes have far-ranging effects, not just short-term consequences, lasting for a short election cycle of 2 to 4 years. When God’s influence is removed from a people/nation, systems of evil and sin begin to be built. Over time, the fruit of this accrues and multiples. Educators are given positions of influence, minds are molded, unrighteous laws are written that can be difficult to change, and more. Cycles of sin then perpetuate, bringing greater deception and destructive fruit; strongholds are strengthened. In our nation, unrighteous and ungodly decisions began being made decades ago. We are now seeing the horrible fruit of this. And I am not speaking only of abortion. In America, God is showing us the fruit of rejecting Him. In Scripture, He calls those who do so, “fools.” Indeed. The greatest country on earth now has babbling, cognitively deficient people leading us; men who think they are women serving in cabinet positions; individuals creating national policy who contend that men can become pregnant (and attempting to punish those who disagree); Supreme Court Justices who can’t define what a woman is; educational leaders who contend that we should teach kindergartners they can change their genders; military leaders who believe “wokism” defines preparedness for war, and we could go on. The rejection of God creates insanity. My advice to those in the church - and frankly, to all well-meaning Americans - who have bought into the progressive liberalism of our day is, “For the sake of your children and grandchildren, wake up.” To Christians in America who think the church should not be overly involved in political issues and elections, I would simply ask, “How do you think we got into this current mess?” Answer: by allowing unrighteous and ungodly people, who don’t honor God and His ways to be elected into government. To the praying church (and others working to see America restored in various ways), “Do not give up!” Sixty years of godless evil cannot be reversed in a year or two. We are making progress. And when the great awakening God has spoken of comes in full force, it will be the game-changer. The change of heart caused by millions of people being born again will truly offset the godless, humanistic thinking of a generation. Then, and only then, will they genuinely care what God and the Bible say. Remember that we are creating this now through our prayers and by placing people into positions of authority and influence. We must not grow weary in our efforts. God can do this! He has said, “America shall be saved.” Not many believed America could win her independence, but she appealed to heaven and prevailed. Very few believed Roe would ever be overturned, but it was. No one believed Ninevah could experience revival, but it did. No one in Israel believed Saul of Tarsus could become an apostle of God and writer of Scripture. I’m sure no one would have even considered anything as ludicrous as slave trader John Newton one day pastoring the greatest abolitionist in history, William Wilberforce…let alone writing history’s most sung ballad of all time, Amazing Grace. Don’t underestimate God’s ability to redeem. Let God deal with the people, states, and governments that oppose Him. He will have His way with unrighteous governments and systems. Shakings will continue and intensify. Kansan believers, remain faithful, and keep standing for life. All Americans (and elsewhere) who labor and pray, stay focused. Stay in faith. Keep listening to Holy Spirit, not the circumstances around us. God will prevail. Pray with me: Father, comfort those who worked, sowed time and resources, and interceded for the passing of Value Them Both. Encourage them. Strengthen also those who worked for this in government. Let them know their labors were not in vain. You were watching and listening! Give legislators brilliant and creative legal ideas with which to approach this issue again. We also ask that another opportunity be given for Kansas to end their covenant with death and enter into covenant with You. Do whatever is necessary for this to occur. We ask this as well for all states that are now in agreement with the spirit of death. Use the coming revival to awaken them - please bring it quickly! And we pray for strength and encouragement to the overall prayer movement in America. Through intimacy with You, may those who pray for America find encouragement, strength, great faith, and endurance. We ask that our Helper, Holy Spirit, move on each intercessor, bringing refreshing and renewing. We pray that the accuser, our adversary who tries to wear down the saints (Daniel 7:25), fails in his attempt to do so. We declare our faith: we will NOT waver, we will NOT relent, and we will NOT fail. Our decree: We declare that though we are afflicted, we’re not crushed; when perplexed, we do not despair; and when we are struck down, we are not destroyed. Taking Territory for Christ It is well worth considering that events in Scripture did not always happen as quickly as it appears they did. Though the book of Joshua can be read in a couple of hours, the conquest of Canaan under Joshua’s leadership took about seven years. The entire book covers a period of approximately 25 years. And at that point, all the tribes of Israel still had not fully conquered all of their territories (see Judges 1:27-36). At a later season in Israel’s history, after a grand and glorious beginning in the rebuilding of the Temple, they experienced a sixteen-year delay (see Ezra 3-4). Through the ministry of the prophet Haggai, courage and faith to continue were reborn. Delays, setbacks, and long-term campaigns are not uncommon in the Kingdom of God. Though Holy Spirit has facilitated an acceleration in the pace of world evangelization, endurance and patience are still key factors. Consider the following example: In the 1970s, Almolonga, Guatemala, was idolatrous and economically depressed. Alcoholism was rampant, poverty, and violence the norm. Families suffered terribly due to the depravity that ruled. The Gospel did not prosper; persecution of Christian leaders was common. In 1974, a series of five-hour prayer vigils began, and shortly thereafter, God began to move. Deliverance and healings began to break forth, even resurrections from the dead. Conversions began to take place at such a rate that 90 percent of the 19,000 people in Almolonga became evangelical Christians. The revival impacted every area of life: families, businesses, and even the produce of the land. Nicknamed “America’s Vegetable Garden,” the fields produced three harvests per year, with five-pound beets, carrots bigger than a man’s arm, and cabbages the size of basketballs. Crime disappeared so much that, in 1994, the last of the four jails closed. Aftershocks of the revival in Almolonga continued for years. There is hope for your city and mine. There is hope for America. We are not at the mercy of sin, sinners, politicians, satan, or demons. Refuse to place control of our destiny in any of these! Choose to believe God is wiser than the devil. If Yahweh wants to bring revival to America, and He does, then we can have revival. We, the Church, hold the keys. We are Christ’s body - His hands, feet, voice - and what He does, He will do through us. We are Plan A; there is no Plan B. No one said it would be easy. To the contrary, words such as persecution, tribulation, fight, warfare, wrestle, endurance, and others like them are all applied to believers in Scripture. But the words victory, faith, overcomer, conqueror, power authority, harvest, and miracle are also applied to us. I boldly declare: If we are willing to fully obey God, walk in faith and never give up, we can have anything God wants us to have. And that absolutely includes revival. Holy Spirit gave me the following instruction in 1988 which is linked to the process of revival: Study the watchman concept again. “I already understand the concept of watchmen,” was my humble response. I know more than you do, was Holy Spirit’s quick and confident answer. Study the concept of the watchman again! He was right, as usual. It was then that I discovered there was more to the concept of a watchman than just a defensive or protective meaning. There is also an offensive or aggressive aspect of watchman prayer. The Hebrew words for “watchman” are also translated as “to besiege,”(1) “spy,”(2) and “ambush”(3) (See Judges 1:24; 2 Samuel 11:16: Isaiah 1:8; Jeremiah 4:17; Psalm 56:6; 71:10). This is due to the fact that all of these activities involve watching. Then I heard Holy Spirit say: I am going to release a fresh anointing to the Church that will enable My people to take individuals, cities, regions, and nations for Me. New strategies will emerge, fresh concepts of discerning satan’s strongholds will be released (i.e., spying), and sieges will begin. This strategy will eventually break satan’s hold over people and places. This will be a broad work, with strategies coming from many different sources. I will reveal one part of My plan to one person, another part to others. This will take place simultaneously, and often one ministry or person will not even realize they are part of a larger plan. But as each does their part, I will be cutting off satan’s strength from different directions as My people obey Me. This was several years ago before terms such as prayer walking, prayer journeys, spiritual mapping, identificational repentance, reconciliation ceremonies, Ekklesia, and others were being used. They may have existed in some people’s thinking, but most of the Body of Christ had never heard them. And I am relatively certain some of these phrases did not exist at all. Since that time, literally millions of believers around the world have not only understood and embraced these concepts but have put them into practice! Of course, we have not “arrived” in our understanding, but we are progressing at an amazing pace. Twenty-five years ago, you had to look long and hard to find a ministry existing solely for the purpose of prayer. Now there are many. Several major denominations actually have entire departments committed to facilitating prayer in their churches. Much of the praying taking place falls under this category of watchman prayer. “Spying” has taken place as the enemy’s strongholds and plans have been uncovered, discerned, and understood. “Sieges” are underway through persistent prayer all over the world. I am so confident heaven’s strategies will not fail that I have a bold prediction: During the next several decades, testimonies like those of Almolonga will become common. Let’s pray into this. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the privilege of partnering with You to save the world. Thank You for bringing us into Your family and giving us the joy of expanding it. You want billions of kids and You will have them. Father, we know Holy Spirit has been on an incredible campaign to bring revelation to us of what it means to be the church. We are, indeed, Christ’s Ekklesia - His governing body on earth. We thank You, Jesus, for sharing Your authority with us. And Holy Spirit, thank You for the revelation, teaching, training, and maturity You have produced in us. We believe we are now moving into the application and fruit stage. You have orchestrated divine sieges through our prayer efforts, Lord. You are doing this all over the world. You have been cutting off supply lines to the enemy through repentance, discernment, intercession, and decrees. We ask You to now give us the fruit of all this. May the greatest campaign of world evangelization and kingdom expansion in history go to a new level this summer. Bring the body of Christ together in new ways. Merge the different streams on assignments. Use our distinctive gifts and understandings, maximize our strengths. Hover over the Flashpoint gathering in Atlanta this week. May the heavens literally shift as we gather for this meeting. Lead many believers to join us, both in person and through media. We are thrilled at what You are doing as You bring Your people together. We know that we will receive the answer to this prayer because we are praying according to Your will, and doing so in the name of Jesus. Amen. Enjoy! _________________________________________________ Sing Yourself a Prophecy - Kelsey Bohlender I want to talk about our heart’s cry to hear from God, and how sometimes, that word is already written somewhere in our history. Recently, my husband Randy had a dream where he was sitting in a prophetic meeting, weeping because he was so hungry to hear from God. He literally woke up from the dream and moved to the recliner where he fell asleep and dreamed it again. I think we can all relate to that hunger at some level. The truth is, we don’t always get a prophetic word when we want it. Sometimes, the Word of the Lord lingers in our past, and comes alive again when we pull it into the moment. Sometimes we have to sing a song of remembrance to direct our hearts to stand steady, like Moses and Miriam did in the book of Exodus. In Exodus 14, God’s people are in a bad spot, hedged in by the Red Sea and the Egyptian army coming to annihilate them. Moses declared that if they stood firm, they would see the salvation of the Lord, and that the Egyptians they saw today would never be seen again. He was right. God split the sea, the Hebrew people walked through on dry land, and the water swallowed up the pursuing army…but the story was far from over. They wouldn’t face this enemy again, but the future was full of other obstacles. In light of God’s powerful deliverance - the desert road before them, and the questions already bubbling of “what next, Moses” - he chose a curious path of leadership. He didn’t make an inspiring speech, he didn’t call a town hall meeting to discuss options. He chose to sing...about what God had done, what He was doing, and what He was about to do. Perhaps his voice was a little shaky at first, like ours is when we start to sing, but you can almost hear it growing stronger as he recounts what had just happened. The Song of Moses – from Exodus 15: “I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!” As he recounted God’s faithful deliverance, his voice turned from remembering to worshiping: “Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Having established what He had done in the past and honoring who He was in the present, Moses found himself prophesying about days to come: “In Your unfailing love You will lead the people You have redeemed. In Your strength, You will guide them to Your holy dwelling. The nations will hear and tremble…” What brilliant strategy, to sing! Although we love music, my husband, Randy, and I are not particularly musical. Even so, there have been times in seeking the Lord where in lieu of a prophetic word or specific divine direction, we have sung ourselves into the prophetic, and those songs have become the declaration that showed us what God was about to do. Years ago, Randy felt called to go to an event called “Burning Man” as a prophetic witness. “Burning Man” is an eclectic arts festival in the remote desert of Black Rock City, Nevada. For over 20 years, up to 80,000 people have gathered on a dry lake-bed for a week each summer, where they create art and celebrate debauchery beyond the reach of the law, all centered around a 70-foot tall effigy of a man built out of wood. At the end of the week, they light the Burning Man on fire, throw much of their art into the flames, and spend the night dancing around the man. Randy says it’s basically a church picnic if you replace the potato salad and lemonade with acid-laced brownies and vodka. We had never done ministry in this sort of context, and we were a little nervous. Nervous enough to know we needed to hear from God. Nervous enough to fast. We were not experienced in fasting, but we were hungrier for God than we were for food, so we jumped in, fasting for forty days and meeting regularly with others to pray and ask, “Have you heard anything from the Lord?” I wish I could tell you we heard from Him immediately, but I’ll be honest - we didn’t. Even so, we weren’t discouraged. If He wasn’t ready to talk, we were - and we told Him of how He had faithfully moved in the past. Around the 30th day of the fast, the Lord began to speak to us. It was faint at first, and we listened closely. We started getting a vision for what could happen in the desert and we heard a word - rain. Randy and four of his friends loaded an RV with 5,000 bottles of water to give away, and I gathered a small group to pray for the team. Having sensed the word “rain,” we asked a lady who worshipped the Lord with interpretive dance, to help us create a dance that would glorify God for His provision of rain. Miriam and the Israelite ladies danced after the Red Sea crossing, thanking God for victory; we felt led to do it in advance. Our dancing worshipper jumped on it and before you knew it, we were praying and worshipping with the dance nightly, asking the Lord to send rain in the desert. Even WE thought we were a little crazy, but sensed the pleasure of the Lord on it. Randy disappeared into the desert, beyond cell coverage, and for days we worshipped and danced before the Lord, praying for rain, not really sure what was happening. In the desert, Randy and his team were finding great favor. People were very open, not only to receiving a free bottle of water, but also to prayer, hearing about the love of Jesus. The team also prophesied a lot about rain. They had t-shirts printed with a raindrop encircling the Burning Man logo and referred to it as Soaking Man. People laughed. At the end of the week, Randy called me from his cell phone having just gotten a signal. He excitedly told of all that God had done in the desert. Then his voice cracked and he said, “It’s...it’s raining.” I about dropped the phone as I shouted back, “What?!” He said, “It’s raining. We are driving south and a huge rainstorm has rolled in. It’s raining in the desert!” They drove through the night across the United States and by late the next day headlines read, “Thousands leave Burning Man early because of the rain.” That weekend, September 2, 2000, we traveled to Washington, DC for an event, TheCall DC. I brought my little crew of dancing ladies and the night before the event we thought, “We should worship with our dance and ask God to send rain again!” We found an empty hotel ballroom and there, in the nation’s capital, we danced and worshiped and celebrated the rain that had sprung from His word to us, believing for the rain of revival to burst forth on our nation. Maybe that’s why it was especially sweet the next day, with 400,000 people on The Mall in DC, as the last worship leader began to play, a soft rain started to fall. It was like God added His own amen to our prophetic journey. In the midst of seeming darkness encroaching on our land, the word of the Lord is “SING!” Recount His faithfulness. Birthed in revival, America’s founding was sandwiched between the first and second great awakenings. Remember His miraculous deeds. A great outpouring of His Spirit in Topeka, Kansas in 1901 led to the Azusa Street Revival, then decades later healing revivals and stadiums being filled. It is not too late for revival in America. It is not too late for rain in the seeming desert. We might be at a Red Sea moment, but let’s turn from staring at the enemy, look to the sea, engage our faith, and sing of the Promised Land ahead! If you’re hungry to hear from the Lord, follow the example of Moses and Miriam. Declare what He has done until history unfolds into praise, and when praise breaks out, the word of the Lord will follow and you’ll find yourself prophesying. Pray with me: Father, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, and the God who sends rain in the desert. You empowered Moses with a song for the generations to remember Your power and Your greatness. You have spoken through the stories of our lives and You continue to write those stories today. We join our voices and sing the song of Your faithful deliverance. When we don’t hear a clear word, we will sing one – the Lord is great and greatly to be praised, He is good and His mercy endures forever! In Christ name we pray, amen. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ Breakthrough in 2022! - Tom Hamon Welcome to Give Him 15. Today I am filling in for the incomparable Dutch Sheets whom we love so much. As we came into 2022, I heard the Lord say we had entered a very significant season in the earth! He called it a season of Breakthrough! I know, at times it feels like the opposite of what has been taking place, but I believe it is exactly what the Lord has in mind. I also know, that this can seem like a generic term to many but let me describe what I felt the Lord showed me. First of all, He said our breakthrough would not come without resistance. In fact, He said the church was going to need to have a certain quality of faith called endurance and persistence in order to press past the resistance in this hour to receive its breakthrough season! If you remember in Luke 11 there is a parable of a man who knocked on his neighbor’s door at midnight for provisions to feed friends that had unexpectedly arrived at his house. Initially, the friend said, ‘Go away, it’s late, I’m in bed and my kids are in bed, I can’t help you now.’ However, instead of walking away disappointed or discouraged, the man said to himself, ‘I’m not leaving until I get my blessing!’ Instead, he decided to knock again! In fact, he knocked and knocked and knocked, until he received the fullness of his Breakthrough! Finally, his friend opened up the door and said, ‘OK, I’ll not only give you what you asked for but whatever you want!’ Jesus said in the parable that he did not open up and give him this blessing and provision just because of his friendship but because of his persistence! I find it significant that this immediately follows the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer in Luke11, where it says, “Let Your Kingdom come, Let Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven”. I believe the Lord was giving us clues as to what it would take to do this work. It was going to require Persistence past all Resistance to receive our Breakthrough! As we entered into this 2020 season of pandemic and political and economic upheaval, the Lord said we must keep our focus on Him and on the promise! I believe 2 Chronicles 20:20 is key in this season of the 2020s! If you remember the story of 2 Chronicles is all about King Jehoshaphat facing a sudden attack from his enemies. He found himself surrounded, outnumbered, and faced with certain capture or death. It was a dark and desperate time in which it seemed the enemy had the upper hand. In fact, it says Jehoshaphat feared as he saw his situation! But that was not the end of the story. Immediately he mobilized the people of God to fast and seek God’s face and began to make an eloquent appeal to heaven. He spoke of God’s promise, purposes, character, and the call of God upon Judah. He based his appeal on ‘case law’ if you will. In verse 12 he acknowledges, we have no power against this great multitude, nevertheless, our eyes are upon You! We recognize that there are powerful, dark, antichrist forces arrayed against us in this hour but we can’t afford to lose our focus! We must keep our eyes on the Lord! But the process was not over. In order to have your appeal heard and the case overturned, you have to add new information to your case. This new information came in the form of a prophetic word given by a young prophet named Jahaziel. Jahaziel represents a bold, young emerging prophetic generation that is arising on the earth today. He boldly proclaimed to the king and the nation they would not have to fight the way that they thought they would but God would fight for them! He prophetically admonished them, ‘don’t be afraid, don’t be dismayed but go against them!’ So Jehoshaphat famously declared in 2 Chronicles 20:20, ‘Believe the Lord and you will be established, believe His prophets and you will prosper’. This powerful Hebrew word prosper doesn’t just mean financially, but also means, ‘to advance, break out, breakthrough and be successful’. In other words, believe what God has to say above your circumstances and you will BREAKTHROUGH! In 2 Chronicles 20:22 it says as they positioned themselves and began to sing and praise the Lord, the Lord set a trap for their enemies and they were defeated! Can we believe in 2022 that we can praise our way to our Breakthrough!? Then it says it took days for them to reap the spoils of their victory! Can we also believe for this during this season as well!? I believe this is indicative of where the church is today! It is key that we seek God's face, make our appeal to heaven, listen to what God is saying prophetically and choose to believe what He says above any circumstances that we are facing! God wants to change the verdict of defeat, death and destruction and instead release an amazing breakthrough for us in this season! The Lord also spoke to me about 2022 in a rather unique way these last couple of years. In 2021, the Lord led me to look up the number 2021 in the Hebrew and Greek in the Strong’s Concordance. The number 2021 in Hebrew is the rarely used word ‘hotsen’ and it means to be ‘sharp and strong as a weapon of war’ and in the Greek, it is the word ‘epicheireo’ which means ‘to take in hand and grasp it’. So the Lord was definitely talking about a warfare season in which we would need to know how to take our weapons of spiritual warfare into our hands and wield them as sharply and strongly as possibly in order to see our breakthrough in this season! As we entered 2022, I felt the Lord again led me to look up 2022 in the Strong’s Concordance as well. What I found is key for this season in the earth! In the Hebrew, it is the word ‘har’ which means ‘hill, mountain, nation, country’ and in the Greek it is the word ‘epicheo’ which means to ‘pour upon’. I felt God saying He wants to pour upon the mountains and the nations in a special way! But how? As I looked a little deeper, I found this Greek word ‘epicheo’ is only used once in the New Testament in the story of the Good Samaritan. The parable talks about a man that rose above the religious spirit seen in the priest and the Levite and decided to minister to the hurting in the marketplace. He poured out the oil and the wine that restored his soul. He chose to take the time, effort, and money to heal a broken heart and a broken life that he encountered on the side of the road of life. This man pressed passed pride and prejudice to bring a great breakthrough and healing to his neighbor in need. The Lord said to me this is the year that the great harvest is going to begin to be brought in but we must be careful not to be too focused on what we think is our mission and miss the divine appointments that may present themselves to us along the way in our journey of ministry, family, and business. The church cannot be like the overly focused, prideful priest and Levite and miss the real appointments God has for us in this hour. We must minister to the hurting right in front of us because that is how the real breakthrough and harvest are going to come. God wants to pour upon the mountains of culture and upon our nation to bring great healing during these troubling times in 2022! We have to be His heart expressed and hands extended to bring this prophesied harvest to our generation! Let’s pray! God, we choose to seek You in this hour and present our case and appeal to You concerning what is taking in our lives, our homes, our generation, and our nation! We make our appeal based on our covenant with You and on the prophetic word You have decreed! We lift up our hearts to You and say that we will listen to Your voice. We ask for strength and persistence in our hearts to see the breakthrough and the great harvest that You have promised in this season! Let’s decree! Lord, we decree this is a season of breakthrough and You hear our appeal. The verdict is that You will fight for us and bring a victory in our lives and in our nation! It was a powerful gathering. Holy Spirit has been waking Scott through the night with some very strong words for the Body of Christ. The one I’m going to release from him today is a very clear admonition to prepare for what Holy Spirit is about to do, AND to stop satan’s planned attacks to try and stop it…before he even launches them! Scott begins with an explanation and ends with a prophecy. At the end when we pray together, we will include a prayer asking Holy Spirit to stop the evil plan in California’s legislature to pass a bill that will allow infanticide (Assembly Bill 2223). Yes, it has come to this! The bill will be voted on today (Wednesday) - I should have done this yesterday! - but many of you read or listen to the post early in the day, so we can still agree with our praying friends in CA regarding this evil bill. **************************** Scott says: An Explanation “I am instructed by the Lord to issue an alert to the Ekklesia. Much like a tornado watch versus a warning, this is an alert, not an alarm. “This is the time to strike - NOW! Raise your swords, activate your faith, and release your anointing. This is a preemptive strike against the forces of darkness that have aligned against you, your children, your marriage, your home, and your future (in that order). “Hell has picked up the sounds, sights, and signals of the Kingdom shift that has already been activated, and has strategized a warfare assault to minimize and derail your faith. This is a push into territories that have been left unprotected, vulnerable, and weak; starting with yourself and your children. “God has issued a ‘decree of outpouring’ that rivals any earthly revival ever known to humankind. This sustained revival season we are entering will eternally shape everything we know about the Body of Christ. The repercussions of this revival will reverberate throughout history. This sustained outpouring will be talked about, studied, and analyzed. It will bring millions into the Kingdom. “This is a heavenly release that will captivate the hearts, minds, and destinies of every stratum of society. Foundations will be shaken, unsecured assets will be seized, and anything left unsecured will be easy prey. “This all-points alert is to allow us to secure that which belongs to us now! Strike first! Everything that is secured by you will be swept into the outpouring of God. This is the instruction of heaven to ‘apply the blood to the doorposts’ of everything that is precious to you! “Take nothing for granted! Strike first, following Kingdom directives to secure your realm of influence. “Ask Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes and understanding, allowing you to see beyond the natural, and then secure your borders. Strike “Strike first by cleansing your home. Walk around your home, take time in your children’s rooms. Discern the space and the atmosphere. Spiritually deal with any issues, weaknesses, or vulnerabilities. Give up NO ground to the enemy. Even as you would use a diffuser to treat the air in your home, use your spiritual language, worship and decrees to treat the atmosphere of your home. “Strike first by anointing your home with anointing oil. Anoint every entry point, stopping and making your faith declarations. “Strike first by praying together as a family. Cover this time. Anoint your family with oil, making your faith declarations over them. Stop and prophesy over them. Secure their personal borders and their futures. Call them into the turnaround outpouring. “Strike first by asking Holy Spirit to reveal anything offensive to Him that could serve as an invitation to darkness. Be discerning. Remove the offense. “Alignment is protection. “Obedience is security. “Cleansing is breakthrough. “Striking first and securing the borders of your kingdom advances you into victory. It literally postures you in a place of sustained outpouring that establishes the destiny of your lineage for generations to come. The Word of the Lord: “‘I have given the order, I have released the oil, I have decided the provision. Kingdom protocols that will facilitate turnaround outpouring are already in place. The sustaining structures of My Spirit have been established. The sound has gone forth, the shofar has blown. Hell has been shaken, and will continue to be shaken at every stratum of society, and My glory will permeate the world at levels never seen or imagined. “‘Those kingdoms, both carnal and spiritual, that are in violation of My Kingdom are being exposed and dismantled. I will not share My glory with false gods or leaders who flaunt their rebellion as if the righteousness and protocol of My Kingdom are irrelevant. “‘Secure your place by striking first. Protect those in your kingdom by submitting to My Kingdom. As you secure My Lordship in your life, the testimony of My faithfulness will rest upon all that you are, for generations to come. We bind every plan of attack against what is ours and decree that on the authority of Your word they are off-limits to every demonic attack. We will obey Your instructions by cleansing our homes, anointing them with the oil, praying over our family members, and removing anything offensive to You. We will strike quickly and effectively. 5 min read March 16, 2022 (givehim15.com) March 16, 2022 Do Our Prayers Really Matter? “The quest of Jesus Christ on the earth is greatly crippled by wrong notions of the sovereignty of God.” (Jack Hayford) I first heard Pastor Hayford say this 25 to 30 years ago and was greatly impacted. I have never forgotten it. The implications are serious and multi-faceted. The underlying premise is that, due to their concept of God’s sovereignty, many Christians believe God always gets what He wants and that His desire will always be accomplished, regardless of our actions. This belief controls most believers and is manifested in many ways, not the least of which is passivity and complacency A read through the Bible and a tour of history easily dispels this erroneous belief. God’s will is never for satan to accomplish his stealing, killing, and destroying. Never. As believers, we have a part to play in God’s victories, turnarounds, and the working together of things for our good (Romans 8:28). They do not occur simply because He desires them to, nor do they occur for us just because we are Christians. Actions, prayers and decrees, faith, endurance, obedience, and more, are necessary in order for us to receive the fulfillment of God‘s will and promises. This is why satan tries to “wear down the saints” (Daniel 7:25) through discouragement, hope-deferred, confusion, and more. He cannot stop God…unless he stops us. He cannot defeat God but he can, at times, defeat us and thereby thwart God‘s will. So he tries to make us weary and cause us to lose heart (Galatians 6:9). He also endeavors to distract us through the cares of life, busyness and, as we said to begin this post, by giving us a false sense of assurance through a misunderstanding of God’s sovereignty. To be clear, God is sovereign. The word sovereignty, however, means all authority, not the control of all that happens. The American Constitution is sovereign in our nation but is only manifested when enforced and obeyed by honest and willing people. And so it is with God‘s sovereign will on earth. This brings me to two important exhortations for today’s post. First, I am exhorting and appealing to intercessors - do not grow weary and slack off in your prayers. I know praying and decreeing often over the same situations can be frustrating and even draining. I also realize that the fight of faith is most challenging in its enduring facet. But our prayers are transforming a nation and shaping history. The hard work will be worth all of the effort and sacrifice. Whatever you need to do to infuse fresh determination and commitment into your prayer life, do it! Speak with someone and allow them to encourage you. Read a motivating book. Spend time in God’s presence. Meet with some friends and pray over one another for strength and encouragement. Bind the devil. Kick a chair. Whatever it takes, do it! My second exhortation and appeal is to spiritual leaders around this nation. This is not a time for “business as usual.” It is not a time to “stay the course” of normality. No, we should not panic and react emotionally; but we must take action. Babies are still being killed on a daily basis, some AFTER their botched abortion; millions of yours and my tax dollars are paying for it. Kindergartners are being encouraged to change their gender and attempt to change their bodies - kindergartners! Parents are being prosecuted for trying to stop this. Leftists and socialists have made great progress in their attempt to take over our nation. Our history is being rewritten so that our future can be controlled. Because of this administration’s decisions, America is becoming weaker and weaker militarily. The deterrent of strength is gone. Evil dictators around the world no longer fear us. Only by the grace of God will the world survive another three years of weak leadership. Our economy is a mess, hanging by a thread. To say that things are precarious is truly an understatement. Inflation is out of control, spending is completely unbridled. I could say more, which I’m sure you know. My question is, if we believe in the power of prayer, why are not more churches and leaders praying? If you do not have time for 10, 15, 20-30 minutes of prayer for America and the world when you gather as a congregation, then you have fallen prey to the mindset Jack Hayford lamented. Do we really believe our sermons are more important than the prayer of agreement? Do we really believe that creating an atmosphere of fun and fellowship is more important than travailing over our situation, our future? Do we really believe that “inconveniencing” Christians with services that last more than an hour on a Sunday morning is asking too much? Sadly, for many, the answer to these questions is “yes.” I fear that we are fiddling while our nation burns. We have already reached the point where only a miraculous, divine intervention will save us. Leaders, make a statement to your people. Don’t preach this Sunday - pray! Have 5, 10, 15, 20 trusted people, ready with a one or two-minute prayer. Line them up, give them the microphone and let this be the sermon. Are things not yet to the point in America and the world that we shouldn’t change the schedule for some crisis intervention? Wouldn’t heartfelt tears combined with effectual fervent prayer be in order at this time? Some of those sitting in our pews have NEVER seen this type of prayer in action. Why? If we don’t wake up now, our alarm clock could be World War III. If we don’t take action now, another generation could be lost. Do not hang your hope on an imminent return of Christ. Occupy until He comes! Do not hang your hope on a false concept of the sovereignty of God. He is waiting for us to take action and partner with Him. Let’s do this. Finally, let me say that I know I am preaching primarily to the choir. You probably would not be reading and/or listening to these posts if you weren’t already praying. And I thank you. Please consider sending this post to someone who might be impacted by it. A friend. A family member. Your pastor. Help us spread this message. Thank you for considering this. America shall be saved…as we do our part. Pray with me: Father, we ask You to strengthen the praying church, the remnant that is carrying a heavy load right now. Break off of them any and all weariness and loss of passion. Infuse them with strength, energy, determination, and zeal. May Your zeal, Lord of Hosts, consume them. Give them hearts that will run through a troop and leap over a wall. Raise up warriors in this hour who will fight and fight and fight until they win. Awaken the churches of America to our critical need. Break off of us wrong theology. Remove complacency and false definitions of success. A growing congregation does not mean we are winning the war. Transferring church members so that we can see new faces and fill our pews is not changing nations. Give us pulpits that once again blaze with Your fire. Bring prayer back to prayerless churches. Touch our hearts at a deeper level. We must have Your intervention, and we cry out for this. We cry out for revival. We cry out for souls. We cry out for our nation to turn back to You. We cry out for the people in Ukraine. We cry out for the Afghanis. We cry out for the multitudes in the valley of decision. Take action, Almighty God! Release millions of angels to war for us and with us, Lord of Angel Armies! Give us breakthrough we pray, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Though He is love, He is most certainly also a warrior. And Holy Spirit wants to awaken His warrior heart in us, the Ekklesia. As the Lion of Judah, Yeshua wants to roar from us. “The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” (Joel 3:16; KJV) Holy Spirit gave my friend, Scott Reece, a powerful word regarding this: “There is an aligning among My lions that will usher in a new shift in the earth. Powers will shift, authority will shift and ungodly rulers will be unseated. “I am making room for those that are righteous to rule in the land. Angel armies have been assembled for the purposes of strategic warfare. They will usher in a wave of a godly generation that will hold the standard, even against the darkest nights. This is a generation unlike any other. The cry of My people in desperate times has activated a warfare strategy that will catch the enemy sleeping and off guard. The hallowed halls of men’s political achievements will be shaken to the core and those very halls will reverberate with a sound of worship and righteousness. “You will witness a breaking down of the political divide and see the establishment of a righteous government, a government that will demonstrate the very power of men and women holding a righteous scepter in their hands. You will see a governmental body that will actually stop and pray before a vote is held in order to ascertain My heart. The podium will be used for godly leaders crying out together in faith, as opposed to arguing, defending unrighteousness, offending My heavens, and shutting off the land from My purposes. “The foundation of this alignment will be laid by My apostles and prophets. The aligning will be a source of activation, release, and unity among my Ekklesia. Do not become distracted by the lying whimpers of the enemy. Do not become discouraged by divisive methodologies designed to deter you. “Set your heart in alignment with My word and My purposes. Align with those apostolic and prophetic voices I am raising up in the land. You will hear different roars with different anointings, but as they align, you will see clearly that I am in the midst of the roar and My voice is at the center. My Word is emerging as a new wine that is being poured out.” What a powerful and encouraging word. Holy Spirit is roaring through our prayers. The Bible speaks not only of God’s people roaring, but also of releasing a battle cry. Psalm 47 tells us: “O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy. For the Lord Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth. He subdues peoples under us and nations under our feet…God has ascended with a shout, The Lord, with the sound of a trumpet.” (Psalm 47:1-3,5; NASB) Shout is the Hebrew word rua. The word describes a war cry, a shout of victory over one’s enemy on the battlefield. It was also used for “blowing” the shofar before a battle; one definition is “to split the ears with sound.” Mel Gibson’s rendition of William Wallace in Braveheart comes to mind: “FREEDOM!!!!!” The word is translated “sound the alarm” in Joel 2:1. In this context, it means “we’re going to war.” The passage in Psalm 47 tells us if we are willing to lift a rua and fight, God will begin to shout with us (verse 5): He “ascends with a shout.” And as God arises, His enemies are scattered (Psalm 68:1). They flee before Him! My point is quite simple: There is “a time for war and a time for peace” (Ecclesiastes 3:8; NASB). There is a time to shout, roar and FIGHT. And though the warfare I speak of is spiritual it must be no less intense. Our spiritual warfare, through prayer, will determine the eternal destiny of billions of people. Our battle is to relieve the suffering of millions. We must pray with passion, fervency, and faith. Perhaps you should consider finding a private place and raising your voice at the demonic assault in Ukraine. Consider going to your basement and rua-ing over your unsaved family member, a deceived friend, or a demonic government. A shout of war is just as terrifying to the ears of demons as it is to human soldiers on a battlefield. Don’t let your dignity silence your roar. When Jesus said “It is finished” (John 19.30) at the end of His time on the Cross, He did not quietly whisper those words, as is often thought. It was actually one word, and He shouted it! (Matthew 27:50) Nor was Christ referring to His death, as many think. Jesus shouted the word tetelestai if He chose to use the Greek word John gives us. However, He spoke both Greek and Hebrew, and was quoting from Psalm 22:31 when He made this announcement. If He actually used the Hebrew word from that verse, it would still have only been one word, asah. Either word would have been a declaration that Christ had finished the assignment given Him. The Greek word actually meant “to pay a debt in full.” The Hebrew word is also the word for “creating” something. Perhaps Jesus was announcing the new creation! We do know that when Christ made this declaration, the ground shook, rocks split and people were raised from the dead (Matthew 27:50-53). His words rent the heavens, shook the earth, and broke the power of death. Now He wants to speak through you. Declare His finished work over your situation. Decree His victory over the nations. Read Psalm 2 out loud over America, Ukraine, the Middle East. Shout “asah” over unsaved family members, your sick body, your checkbook. Release the roar! Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your encouraging word through Scott. Thank You for hearing and using our prayers. We are not just accomplishing a religious exercise when we intercede. To the contrary, it still works. You use our prayers to bring forth Your plans in the earth. And we know that at times this requires spiritual warfare. We must bind and loose (Matthew 16:18-19). We must wrestle; we must fight. And yet, we also know that when we do this, we are not defeating satan, we are enforcing his defeat at Calvary. Jesus paid the debt for our freedom in full. He delivered us from the authority of darkness, and we now enforce this victory in His name. We release healing in our bodies. We break deception off of those blinded by sin. We release the winds of revival around the world. We declare that even though satan is on a rampage to steal, kill and destroy, the power of Holy Spirit is coming to the nations of the earth with a massive revival. We release all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen. He it is who reduces rulers to nothing, who makes the judges of the earth meaningless. Scarcely have they been planted, scarcely have they been sown, scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth, but He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the storm carries them away like stubble. ‘To whom then will you liken Me that I would be his equal?’ says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing.” (Isaiah 40:22-26; NASB) “Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and said, ‘I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; the horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will extol Him. The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is His name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; and the choicest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea. The deeps cover them; they went down into the depths like a stone. Your right hand, O Lord, is majestic in power, Your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy. And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You; You send forth Your burning anger, and it consumes them as chaff. At the blast of Your nostrils the waters were piled up, the flowing waters stood up like a heap; the deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.’ “The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be gratified against them; I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy them.’ “You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters. “Who is like You among the gods, O Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders? You stretched out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them.” (Exodus 15:1-12; NASB) These are two great passages describing God’s awesome power. The passage from Exodus is what the Israelites sang after He delivered them from Egypt and conquered Egypt’s god of wind and the sea, Baal-Zephon. We are in the process of seeing this spirit overthrown again, this time in America. We have done several posts revealing him as the strongman over the U.S. But God has said He is breaking the hold of this principality off of America, and re-establishing Christ’s rule and purpose in our land. Of course, the issue has never been power - no evil spirit could ever overpower God - the issue has been the authority we have granted this spirit through our sin and rebellion. God is spoken of in scripture as a Warrior. Yes, His nature is love (1John 4:8) and His mercies endure forever (Psalm 118). But when necessary, God is a fierce and undefeatable warrior. For the most part, the church does not consider this aspect of His nature. We have lost sight of it primarily because our warfare is not visible or natural; it is not against individuals. Rather, it is an invisible and spiritual war; our weapons are spiritual, as well. Nonetheless, though our battle is spiritual, it is very real. And we must allow God to awaken His warrior heart in us. The war on earth for the souls of men and women, and for control over regions of the world is raging. Satan is ruthless in this war, always wanting to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Second Corinthians 10:3-4 speaks of our spiritual war: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds…”(KJV). Ephesians 6:12 also speaks of the battle in which we are engaged: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (KJV). Failing to understand or acknowledge this spiritual war is to lose by default. How do we release our spiritual power, our spiritual weapons and authority in this spiritual war? We do so primarily with our words. When Jesus was confronted by satan, He provided our example of how to war against the devil and his spiritual forces: “It is written!” (Matthew 4:1-11). God’s Word is the most powerful force on earth. With it He creates, releases life, tears down and builds up. And Holy Spirit tells us that His word in our mouth (Greek: rhema: “spoken words”) is a sword against satan and his demons (Ephesians 6:17). When we speak God’s words in spiritual war, they are an overpowering weapon, a sword; leaving them unsaid leaves our sword in its scabbard. When we are fearful or tempted to fear, we should speak God’s word that promises freedom from fear. When we are sick, we should speak promises that relate to healing. When we are in turmoil and unrest, we should speak verses of scripture regarding peace. And when we see satan stealing, killing, and destroying, we should speak and declare God‘s word regarding deliverance and salvation over the situation. Release the sword! Heaven’s will does not automatically occur on the earth. We are the instruments and vessels God uses to operate on this planet. One way He does so is through prayer, including decrees. The church has failed tremendously in understanding this, which has caused much harm to us and frustration to the cause of Christ. There are many biblical references to support this fact, one of them simply being “you have not because you ask not” (James 4:2). Certainly, there are other principles which govern how and for what we can ask, but some things are not received simply because we fail to ask for them. Let’s ask now! Pray with me: Father, awaken the Ekklesia to Your warrior nature. There is no contradiction between the fact that You are love and are also a warrior. You heal, but You also destroy evil. When necessary, You are fierce. You experience anger, even hatred - You hate evil, oppression, the destruction of innocent people, and all that satan does. We ask You to wage war against the powers of evil in Ukraine. We ask You to do so in Afghanistan. We ask You to do so against the demonic powers that kill babies. We ask You to save those involved in these evils; we do not wish them harm. But we do hate what they do, and we ask You to cause it to end. Do something supernatural to stop this senseless war in Ukraine. Almost 2,000,000 people are now homeless, refugees. Please end this, and send salvation to them, both spiritually and physically. Make satan pay once again. Send unprecedented revival to Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Afghanistan, and the Middle East. And we pray regarding the Dobbs abortion case. Move on the Supreme Court to reverse Roe versus Wade. Save the Justices who do not know You and deliver them from deception. We ask that those who have opposed You will become champions for You and for life. We bind demonic spirits of deception that keep them blinded to truth and the gospel, in Jesus’ name, amen (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Yesterday we talked about a remnant of Israelites under the leadership of Zerubbabel, the governor, and Joshua, the high priest, returning to Jerusalem from decades of captivity in Babylon. Their first responsibility was to rebuild God’s temple. King Cyrus had allowed them to return and even helped raise the funds to do the rebuilding as well as returning all the temple’s articles of silver and gold which Nebuchadnezzar had stolen – 54000 of them. This returning remnant rebuilt the foundation of the temple and then held a massive celebration service. The celebrating was short-lived, however. Opposition came from neighboring people who hired anti-Yahweh lobbyists to spread rumors or spoil the king’s thinking. The remnant of Israel became fearful and discouraged. Rather than trust God to sort things out and continue giving them favor, they stopped work on the temple for 16 years. For 16 years all they had accomplished for God’s house – the temple – was to pour a slab. Of course, during this time they had built their own homes and businesses. Finally, God had enough of their complacency and raised up a prophet, Haggai, to deliver His message to them. “On the first day of the sixth month of the second year in the reign of King Darius of Persia, God’s message was delivered by the prophet Haggai to the governor of Judah, Zerubbabel, and to the high priest, Joshua. ‘God of the angel armies says: ‘The people procrastinate. They say this is not the right time to rebuild My temple, the temple of God.’ 'Shortly after that, God said more and Haggai spoke it: ‘How is it that it is the right time for you to live in your fine homes while Mine is in ruins?’ 'And then a little later, God of the angel armies spoke out yet again: ‘Take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over. You’ve spent a lot of money, but you haven’t much to show for it. You keep filling your plates, but you never get filled up. You keep drinking and drinking and drinking, but you are always thirsty. You put on layer after layer of clothes, but you can’t get warm. That’s why God of the angel armies said take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over.’ ‘Then God said: ‘Here is what I want you to do. Climb into the hills and cut some timber. Bring it down and rebuild the temple. Do it just for Me. Honor Me. You’ve had great ambitions for yourselves but nothing has come of it. The little you have brought to My temple, I have blown away. There was nothing to it. And why? Because while you have run around caught up with taking care of your own house, My home is in ruins. That’s why. Because of your stinginess. And so I’ve given you a dry summer and a meager crop. I’ve matched your tight-fisted stinginess by decreeing a season of drought, drying up fields and hills, withering gardens and orchards, stunting vegetables, and fruit. Nothing—not man or woman, not animal or crop—is going to thrive.” ‘Then the governor, Zerubbabel , Joshua the high priest, and all the people with them listened, really listened, to the voice of their God. When God sent the prophet Haggai to them, they paid attention to him. In listening to Haggai, they honored God. ‘Then Haggai, God’s messenger, preached God’s message to the people: 'I am with you!’” (Haggai 1:1-14) When the people responded appropriately to God’s words, He was quick to respond with grace and favor. It wasn’t really those in opposition to God that were His problem. He was able to deal with them. What He needed was a people of faith who would not bow to fear, discouragement or self-centeredness. When they were able to shake free from these things, God favored them once again and said “I am with you! Let’s go!” A month later, Haggai prophesied again: “'Tell Governor Zerubbabel and High Priest Joshua and all the people: ‘Is there anyone here who saw the Temple the way it used to be, all glorious? And what do you see now? Not much, right? “‘So get to work, Zerubbabel!’ “‘Get to work, Joshua—high priest!’ “‘Get to work, all you people!’ “‘Yes, get to work! For I am with you. Put into action the word I covenanted with you when you left Egypt. I’m living and breathing among you right now. Don’t be timid. Don’t hold back.’ ‘Before you know it, I will shake up sky and earth, ocean and fields. And I’ll shake down all the godless nations. They’ll bring bushels of wealth and I will fill this Temple with splendor.’ ‘I own the silver, I own the gold.’ “‘This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out, a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish: a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.” (Haggai 2:1-9) I have felt for quite some time that many in the church of America have grown weary in their prayers for revival and the turning around of our nation. Evil lobbyists, media opposition, inappropriate laws, intimidating government agencies, elections that don’t go our way, evil politicians. Satan has used these and more to try and wear us down. Consequently, many have done just what these Israelites did - decided it must not be time for our turnaround and that when God is ready, He’ll do it. God, however, needs us to persevere in our faith and prayers. He does not want us to pull away from this holy assignment of turning our nation back to Him through a sweeping revival. We must not be intimidated. We must not bow to slander, threats or complacency. We must stay the course! I keep hearing the words of my friend and co-laborer, Don Lynch, who moved to heaven a couple weeks ago. I posted a portion of a message he recently gave where he prophesied the word of the Lord to the praying church. “You must finish this!” he said. “Finish this! Finish this!” And so we must. We must finish this assignment of turning America back to God. We must pray and decree God’s words until revival is burning uncontrollably in America and then around the world. We must let nothing – wars, threats, fear, discouragement, setbacks, unbelief – we must let nothing stop us. Finish this..! Pray with me: Father, You have begun a good work in our nation. You have added apostles and prophets to the leadership of the church. You have raised up intercessors and a remnant of people who are determined to see revival in America. We are determined to see America turn back to You and accomplish all You have destined for her. We are determined to see righteousness in our government once again. We are determined to see the young generation of Americans come to know You. We are determined to see world-wide revival - at least a billion souls. We will not stop with a foundation. We will not yield to any opposition. We will not yield to fear, confusion, unbelief, discouragement, or selfishness. We will finish this! We WILL finish this! Raise up Haggai’s in our day with Your words. Stir the hearts of Your people. Stir up those whose hearts once burned with fire for revival and breakthrough yet who now have settled for less. Stir up pastors who have chosen to settle for less than the fires of revival. Stir up intercessors who have allowed the fire to go out. Awaken us all to Your passion in this hour. May there be a roar of intercession that is released in this nation and the nations of the earth. We ask You, rend the heavens and come down! We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. I have also stated, however, that I realize this isn’t because America is loved more by God. Our nation’s role is to serve the world, in numerous ways. Jesus said, “He that is greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matthew 23:11) also see Matthew 20:26). America has become the greatest nation on the earth in terms of strength and wealth. This comes with great responsibility; it was given to us not just for ourselves. We have certainly dropped the ball in this regard, but God wants to reverse these failures through a Third Great Awakening. We will then be His voice and instrument once again. In today’s post, I want us to focus on some of the things happening with our neighbors in Canada and in other nations. Our friend, John Robb, of Transformation Prayer Foundation, shared the following points and insights. “What a time in which we are now living! The wonderful refrain from that old hymn, ‘The Conflict of the Ages’ has come to me a few times over the past several days. We are in that conflict for sure, now more than ever, facing the attempt by globalist elites to dominate and control the world’s peoples and drive us into a New World Order through their ‘Great Reset.’ Their plan, according to Klaus Schwab, leader of the World Economic Forum, is that by 2030, ‘You will not own anything, but you will be happy.’ “As Christ’s people, we need to be watching on the wall, pushing back through authoritative prayer and spirit-led actions. Thank God for the brave Canadian truckers and their supporters, who are pushing back against the vaccination mandates and other tyrannical policies of the Trudeau government through their ‘Freedom Convoy.’ We must be praying for them. (They are not against vaccines, they’re against inappropriate government control.) “Here in the USA, as well as in other nations, we need to stand against the same kind of globalist suppression of our rights and freedoms. Mat Staver, a praying lawyer with Liberty Counsel, warns that ‘Covid is being used as a weapon of fear to scare people into readily accepting government invasion in every aspect of our lives! The U.S. government is coordinating with agencies, airlines, corporations, and foreign nations to push a worldwide Vaccine Passport!’ He raises a cry against the totalitarian health passport that government agencies want to adopt here as they did in China. It is about getting all your personal data to determine whether you are allowed to work, enter stores and public places, or even leave your own home. “Let’s pray in agreement with other Jesus followers who take seriously His awesome promises of Matthew 18:18-19 and Luke 10:18-19 that give us authority to come against such things and the spiritual forces behind them. Ask the Lord to expose and bring down these Nazi-like, sociopathic elites who so arrogantly think they can take charge over the rest of humanity to make slaves of us all. Domination and control, as theologian Walter Wink concluded, always indicate demonic influence behind the scenes. That is because the prince of this world wants to lay claim to what is not his—the lives and destinies of humans created in God’s image to be free and enjoy His gift of abundant life. May the principalities and powers behind certain international institutions and national governments be bound in the name of the King of the Universe, our Lord Jesus Christ. And may anti-freedom individuals in big government, business, tech, pharma, and media be removed from their positions and replaced by God-fearing, caring, upright officials! “Other concerns we should be praying about: 1. “Continue to agree in prayer that the increasingly likely conflict between Russia and Ukraine be diffused and that the Russian forces gathered along the border will be withdrawn. 2. “Afghanistan has become the most dangerous place to be a Christian. The Taliban sometimes goes house to house looking for any who have Scripture or audio Bible recordings on their cell phone and, in some cases, have executed them. The humanitarian crisis still needs our prayers, as well, so that adequate food and fuel can get to those in danger of starvation this winter. Pray as the Spirit leads you for these grave situations. 3. “Myanmar continues to experience a staggering revival with thousands upon thousands of Buddhists and Muslims wanting to know about Jesus. Please pray for additional willing laborers to help, and also for the end of the conflict and a return to civilian rule. 4. “Lastly, we in various New Mexico prayer networks and ministries will be coming together with Navajo ministers and other praying Native people in Gallup, NM, near the border of Arizona. We will be praying specifically for revival and God’s transformation of our beautiful but beleaguered state, as well as for our nation. These Navajo ministers, along with their nation’s president and vice-president (both Jesus followers) have been praying together every Monday. The Gallup pastors have been praying together every Tuesday, so something very significant is happening there! Also, an intercessor from one of the darkest places in New Mexico (drugs, crime, and occultism), where the first capital in the USA was founded in 1598 (even before Santa Fe), wrote to me a couple of weeks ago. He sees a "spiritual nuclear explosion" involving the Navajos and other Native peoples happening. This goes along with Billy Graham's prophetic word in 1975 about the First Nations people being like a ‘sleeping giant,’ who will have a powerful impact on our nation and world when they are awakened spiritually. May this be the time! In his iconic speech at a conference on Indian evangelism, Graham said to Native American leaders, ‘You are a sleeping giant, the original American. You are now awakening. Just around the corner, you may become a spiritual superpower in this country that could change, not only America, but the world." Pray with me: Father, we love our brothers and sisters around the world. We pray for them today. Please give strength and favor to those standing for freedom in Canada. We ask for a miracle to be released that turns the tide for them. We pray also for provision to make its way to them. We ask that their boldness and love of freedom impact our nation as well. We pray for the people of Ukraine. Somehow, stop the Russian invasion and enable Ukraine to maintain their freedom. Overthrow evil leaders in Russia and around the world. We also ask, however, for blessing to the innocent masses of Russia. May evil leaders in Russia, China, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba and other nations of the earth be removed. And send unprecedented revival to all of these nations. We pray for the people of Afghanistan. Deliver them from the evils of the Taliban. Give peace and protection to our brothers and sisters, save those who do not yet know You. We command revival fires into that region!!! And we pray for the people of Myanmar. We know Heaven is rejoicing over the outpouring of Holy Spirit taking place there. May they continue to experience incredible revival with thousands upon thousands more Buddhists and Muslims coming to know Jesus. Send laborers to help disciple the believers, and bring peace to the land. And finally we pray again today for our First Nations people in America. Send revival to them. May it be as our brother said, “a spiritual nuclear explosion.” Bring forth the fulfillment of Billy Graham’s words: awaken this sleeping giant and make them a spiritual superpower here and around the world. Heal them from the wounds inflicted upon them and awaken them to their destiny. We bless them, Father. We pray all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen. You will appreciate this strong word. “In Habakkuk 2:3 we read that visions, dreams, and prophecies are for appointed, God-planned times. When their moment comes, they will accelerate to fullness and there will be no delay. It is vital to discern our times and remember what Holy Spirit has spoken to us, so we know how to properly engage. “Something incredible is now surging in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is now amping up to a different level. What the body of Christ has been contending for, through prayers and decrees, has come to its divine moment. Holy Spirit has activated strategies that are now in completion mode to produce God’s plan for His ruling and reigning Ekklesia. “I recently heard the Lord say to me, ‘My Ekklesia and My remnant have now entered the season of Our follow-through.’ “I knew that ‘Our’ was referring to the Godhead. The Godhead is now following through on promises they have made to us. Holy Spirit is overseeing it now on the earth. Prophecies that have been proclaimed are now being accelerated. Dreams that have been given to us are in the season of the follow-through. A season of supernatural completions has now begun. “When the Lord spoke these words to me, I was reminded of a previous word He had given me. He said, ‘I will now reintroduce Holy Spirit to the world. He will function in visible leadership of My Ekklesia, in worldwide ways and with explosive power. My sons and My daughters will move to new levels of My dominion mandate. New and unadulterated authority will be seen on the earth as Holy Spirit activates divine strategies and multiple divisions of angel armies to reinforce those strategies. They will assist My heirs and implement My Kingdom government. A new Pentecost outpouring will be poured upon the earth and everything in My Kingdom will accelerate. Revival and awakening will come. I will have My harvest.’ “Holy Spirit is the architect, strategist, and guide of this end time move, and He has announced this is a season of the follow-through. As I continued to ponder and pray, I was reminded of other words I believe refer to this season of completion. “Holy Spirit instructed me on the importance of angel armies several years ago and I believe we are now moving into a greater season of angelic activity. When He first began teaching this to me, He said, ‘The King has issued a command for a new campaign on earth. I will now be leading a campaign similar to what I initiated in the Pentecost outpouring in Acts Chapter 2, only it will be far greater. This time I will be bringing far more of the angel armies.’ “These words set me on a journey of years of study on the nature and workings of angels. Holy Spirit opened up God’s Word to me concerning angels assisting the King’s heirs, the Ekklesia, and a Kingdom revival. What we are entering into is not a local church based revival as we have seen in the past. The plan this time is for a Kingdom revival that will occur everywhere. Holy Spirit then said to me, ‘The greatest days in church history are not in your past; they are in your present and they are in your future.’ “The current Word of the Lord is that the Ekklesia and remnant have entered the season of the Godhead’s follow-through. The promised outpourings, revival, discipling of nations, and the greatest harvest ever are now in follow-through mode. Holy Spirit has been leading a transition in the church to develop a Kingdom mindset within the Ekklesia. “Additionally, Holy Spirit is being reintroduced as Lord Sabaoth, Lord of angel armies. There are many references in scripture that tell us when Holy Spirit moves, it is often with angel armies. One occasion occurred at the first Pentecost. “In Acts 2, King Jesus issued a command for a new campaign of His Kingdom to begin on the earth. This new Kingdom era was to take the gospel of the Kingdom into all of the earth. Holy Spirit came to supervise and empower it with angel armies. This is referenced in scripture by the cloven tongues of fire that hovered over each of the remnant believers in the upper room. Angels are often described in scripture as appearing like flames, reflectors, tongues or carriers of fire. “Five hundred people were told to go to the Upper Room, but only 120 did. Angels ministered the fire of God’s glory to that remnant under Holy Spirit’s supervision. These ministering angels were angels of glory. They are part of the glory division of angel armies that always accompany members of the Godhead. These angels reflect the glory of the Godhead and are carriers of the glory anointing of God. They minister to the heirs of God from His glorious, holy presence. These angels assist Holy Spirit’s actions, outpourings, revivals, awakenings, and moves on the earth. “Glory angels are often symbolized in God’s Word as fire. Fire often represents the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit, the very essence of who He is. It’s a presence you can see, feel and experience. When Holy Spirit came into the Upper Room, it must have been like a glory bomb exploded. A glory surge of who He is erupted and flames of fire appeared over each believer. Holy Spirit has said He is now moving similarly, yet greater. “While the first Pentecost happened in one place, this next outpouring will occur in hundreds of locations. It will be a widespread Kingdom revival. A glorious Ekklesia will rise in power and the government of hell will not prevail against it. Holy Spirit is now activating multiple divisions of angels to assist. “The different divisions of angel armies now being activated are: government, revival, breakthrough, alignment, awakening and reformation, evangelism, healings and miracles, and special forces. Holy Spirit is bringing these angels in this season of great follow-through to encamp around all of the Ekklesia hubs He has been preparing. “I recently had a vision of hundreds of different hubs all over the world. Encamped around one hub I saw angels of alignment, healings, miracles and glory. Around another, I saw angels of breakthrough, harvest, evangelism and awakening. Surrounding another, I saw angels of war, special forces, breakthrough, and glory. It continued in this way throughout the vision with each Ekklesia hub assisted by more than one division of angels, depending on their needs. Sometimes, I saw the angels moving as if on missions. Other times, I saw a division of angels moving out as another division came in. It looked like an active operation in process. “Holy Spirit then spoke these words, ‘I am increasing the power, influence and voice of my regional spirit capitals.’ He called the Ekklesia hubs His ‘regional spiritual capitals.’ The King has been building spiritual capitals, which clearly indicates governmental authority. “The Godhead is in follow-through mode. King Jesus is building His regional spirit capitals. He is providing keys to their regions and hell will not be able to hold out against them. These Ekklesias will occupy the territorial thrones, dethrone demon powers, and from the spirit capitals, the spirit realm will influence the natural realm, thus beginning to disciple nations. “God is now doing this. Not one word of His good promises will fail. We are moving into the most amazing days of God’s Kingdom. Hell doesn’t stand a chance.” Pray with me: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the dreams, visions, and prophecies You have given us. You have made so many promises to us, Lord. I believe You remember every one of them and You have promised You will follow through. We declare we have stepped into a season of supernatural follow-through and completion. Signs, wonders, and miracles are coming in abundance. A Kingdom revival will roar throughout all of the world. Holy Spirit is reintroducing who He really is. He is all-powerful, supernatural, all-knowing, ever-present, and a strategist who never loses. God, release Your divisions of angel armies to assist us. Release Your glory angels that reflect Your presence. Let healings be manifested across this nation. Healings of mind, body, and soul. We also call out to You, God, to heal our nation. You have promised America shall be saved and we call on You to follow through. We trust You, God. In Jesus’ name, Amen. In paragraph four, I said that the word “covenant” is in the Declaration of Independence. Since I had referenced the Declaration of Independence already in the paragraph, one of my proofers assumed I was still talking about this document, and changed the word “declaration” to “Declaration of Independence.” I was not referring to that. I was referencing the statement made by Robert Hunt at Cape Henry in 1607. He used the word “covenant” in his declaration. I did not catch this late last night until I was actually recording the post, nor did my proofer. This is now corrected in the written post at GiveHim15.com.) THE TREE SHALL LIVE Yesterday I began discussing a significant dream given to our friend, Gina Gholston. Here is the dream again: “I dreamed I was with some prayer leaders, including Dutch Sheets. We walked through a field of tall grass and noticed a hill in front of us. This caught our attention because it was the only hill around us. The rest of the land was a level, grassy field. “On the top of the hill was a huge, very old, beautiful tree. We were so captivated by this tree that we decided to climb the hill to get a closer look. The tree was the only thing on the hill, and its canopy was so large that shade from it covered the entire hill. The ground around the tree was level, and the grass was tall and thick. “We were in awe of this beautiful tree, amazed at the size of the trunk and the massive expanse of its canopy. As we walked around the tree, looking up into the branches, someone tripped over what appeared to be a root protruding out of the ground. All of a sudden, these ‘roots’ appeared everywhere. Where there had been tall, thick grass, now there was no grass, and these ‘roots’ were laying all over the top of the ground. They had not been there when we first arrived. We were very puzzled by this, so I walked over and looked at one of them more closely. “As I did, I could see that the ‘root’ was moving. The movement had not been obvious until I looked more closely. I motioned for my friend to come to where I was standing, and whispered to her, ‘Watch this!’ We both could clearly see the ‘root’ was moving. “I walked over to Dutch and said, ‘These are not roots; they’re the backbones of demons. They are alive and are eating the root system of this beautiful tree.’ The demons didn’t realize we could see them, but their backbones were exposed and we could see their movements. “I then asked the prayer leaders, ‘What should we do about this?’ “Dutch replied, ‘I know what to do!’ He stepped away for a moment and then returned carrying a perfectly carved wooden staff. “Someone asked, ‘What is that?’ “I knew what he held and said, ‘This is a staff that has been carved from an old tamarisk tree. Tamarisks are evergreens.’ “Dutch nodded his head yes. He then handed the staff to me, and I walked over to one of the demon backbones. I struck it with the evergreen staff and, as I did, the demon vanished. I could physically hear the sound ‘poof;’ and it was gone. I began walking from ‘root’ to ‘root’ hitting them with the evergreen staff. I then looked at the other prayer leaders and noticed that they all now had staffs in their hands made from evergreens. They, too, were using the staffs to destroy the demons. Together, we shattered every demon and saved the tree.” End of dream. ******************* The large, beautiful tree high on the hill, surrounded by green grass, obviously represents America. Our nation has long been referred to as, “a city on a hill,” spoken of frequently by our nation’s founders and leaders. No less than 13 Presidents have used this phrase in referencing America. “‘A City upon a Hill’ is a phrase derived from the teaching of Salt and Light in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount (from Matthew 5:14). In a modern context, it is used in United States politics to refer to America acting as a "beacon of hope" for the world.(1) “This scripture was cited at the end of Puritan John Winthrop's lecture or treatise, ‘A Model of Christian Charity’ delivered on March 21, 1630, at Holyrood Church in Southampton before his first group of Massachusetts Bay colonists embarked on the ship Arbella to settle Boston.(2)(3) In quoting Matthew's Gospel (5:14) in which Jesus warns, ‘a city on a hill cannot be hid,’ Winthrop warned his fellow Puritans that their new community would be ‘as a city upon a hill, the eyes of all people are upon us,’ meaning, if the Puritans failed to uphold their covenant with God, then their sins and errors would be exposed for all the world to see: ‘So that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword through the world.’”(4) Could any warning have been more poignant and more true? The green grass around the tree represents the blessing and prosperity of God (Psalm 23:2). America has been blessed and exalted for centuries under God’s favor and blessings. In the dream, however, the green pastures had already disappeared and the roots were now being destroyed. It doesn’t take an arborist to know that a tree can still look and seem healthy for some time, even when the roots have begun to die. America is on life-support. Our covenant roots are dying. No honest person can deny this truth. Many in our government are dishonest, much of our education system is a joke, our financial health is hanging by a thread, our first and most fundamental right - freedom of speech - is being stolen, we kill our babies, the family unit has been decimated, we don’t know male from female, college professors are stating that pedophilia is healthy, kindergartners are being taught that they can change their gender, our president is mentally challenged and the laughingstock of the world, our history is being revised, and the church - God’s remedy for these evils - has become weak and a subculture, rather than being salt and light. Sadly, the list could go on. To state that the grass is no longer green and the roots of the tree are dying is an understatement of monumental proportions. Demons, in the dream, previously hidden underground and thinking they were still hidden, could now be seen destroying the roots of this great tree. This is such an accurate and horrifying portrayal of what is occurring in America! Through sin, compromise, lies, and deception, demons are destroying America’s godly roots. People are being used, of course, but the real cause behind America’s demise is demonic. While we must work to stop the plans and attempts of those attempting to destroy our nation, these attempts will fail if we don’t deal with the spiritual, demonic source. In the dream, their activity was exposed. God has been and continues to expose the corruption and evil in America. Many leaders have been saying this would occur. When the 2020 election was not turned around as so many hoped, I (one of many) began sensing and saying, “This delay is to bring exposure of the evil at work in America.” I knew God would now reveal evil, corruption, lies, and devious intentions. I didn’t foresee the absolute stupidity that would also be revealed. I’m not trying to be insulting or mean-spirited. There simply is no other way to describe many of the mindsets and plans manifesting in America. Many people are revealing themselves to be fools. In the dream, government didn’t save the tree roots. They cannot do so. Once the demonic activity is destroyed, government can be reformed and then be part of rebuilding our nation. But only prayer can save the roots. Church activities and programs, great preaching and teaching, evangelism programs and Bible studies; government leaders, actions and programs, better laws; changes in our education system; an honest media; these are all needed but none of it can save America. Please hear me: only God, through the power of prayer, including spiritual warfare, can save America. We must have a resurrection! And then the staffs appeared in the dream. Tamarisk tree staffs. The tamarisk tree is an evergreen. I posted about this yesterday. Evergreens symbolize covenant, just as they did in the life of Abraham and other cultures. Washington placed an evergreen tree on the Appeal To Heaven flag. God could not be more clear. America must return to her covenant roots. The praying church must war by decreeing and declaring God’s covenantal purposes for us. When we say what God says it is a powerful weapon against the enemy. Our words carry spiritual power. Speak and declare His written word, of course. Nothing is more powerful than His words given to us in scripture. But also declare the declarations and decrees made by our early founders and leaders, as we have spoken about in the previous two posts. Teach them to your children. Pastors should preach about our godly roots and purpose as a nation! BOLDLY! And yes, godly government leaders should quote these statements about God and our purpose as a nation, about our dependence on Him, of His influence in our founding - every chance they get. This is one of the weapons that will release the power needed to overcome the demonic onslaught. We should fill the heavens over America with these decrees. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: America was raised up by God to be a city on a hill, a beacon of light to all nations. America was called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to all nations of the earth. America is one nation, under God. We have put our trust in Him and no other. We have no king but Jesus. The “Laws of Nature and of Nature's God;” an appeal to the “Supreme Judge of the world;” “the Creator;” and “divine Providence” are all in our Declaration of Independence. We decree that, as a part of this legal document that birthed our nation, they remain true today. We declare them into the atmosphere of America! Leviticus 25:10 is on the Liberty Bell: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.” This verse, describing Christ as America’s jubilee Redeemer, rang out at our birth, announcing our faith and our destiny. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-3-2022 February 3, 2022 Stay Focused Proverbs 29:18 is a fairly well-known verse of scripture: “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” (KJV). This is an accurate translation, but incomplete. Like many Old Testament verses, it is impossible to glean the full meaning of this passage without a more complete understanding of the Hebrew words used. A good expanded translation could be, “Where there is no [chazown] prophetic revelation, regardless of the manner in which it is received - a dream, vision, revelation, prophecy, mental impression and more - people [para] become unrestrained, uninformed, uncovered (naked, exposed), unmotivated, disunited; they miss opportunities and can even perish.” Wow! As you can see, “vision” is a very limited meaning of the word, chazown; and if “vision” is used to translate it, it should definitely be “prophetic vision.” Please do not limit this verse to saying we need a plan or dream regarding our future. We certainly do need this, but vision must be influenced by Holy Spirit, making it a “prophetic” dream or plan. The prophetic - hearing from and being led by Holy Spirit - is crucial. If the prophetic is new to you, don’t be intimidated or confused by the subject. Of course, there is a perversion of the prophetic (witchcraft, fortune-telling, etc.), but where our relationship with God is concerned, being prophetic simply means receiving communication from Holy Spirit. This occurs in many ways, several of which I included in the amplification of the above verse: revelation, discernment, thoughts and impressions to our hearts and minds, dreams, visions, prophecy, and more. One does not have to be a prophet to be prophetic, any more than he or she has to be an evangelist to evangelize. All believers can and should be prophetic. Holy Spirit is our Helper, and He is a good communicator. Our intercession should always be laced with prophetic influence. We should always be asking Holy Spirit to help us pray. Of course, we look to scripture in order to discern God’s will, but even this usually requires Holy Spirit’s input. For example, we are told to pray for our government (1 Timothy 2:1-3). However, hearing from Holy Spirit regarding what issues need prayer the most is still required, and HOW to pray for them also requires His leading. I do not need a revelation to tell me to pray against abortion. God’s Word makes clear His position on this. But I do need Him to guide me as I pray, giving me insights on what needs to occur in order for this evil to end. Clearly, being led by the Spirit is crucial to spiritual success. Therefore, the beginning of my prayers regarding any matter is usually a series of questions, “Holy Spirit, how do I need to pray about this? Is there a verse of Scripture (or verses) I need to pray? Is this situation caused by demons or by natural circumstances? Do I need to petition You, Father, or use the “sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:17) against demonic activity? Do I need the power of agreement in order to break through this in this situation? Is there something standing in the way of the answer to this prayer which needs to be revealed to me?” Etc. I was given a very strong prophetic word from my friend, Chuck Pierce, at the end of 2021 regarding prayer for our nation. I have alluded to it in other posts but want to state it very clearly here. He told me the first three months of 2022 are very, very critical…that we must rally those who follow us, making certain we press in diligently during this first quarter of the year. He feels that whether or not we do this will determine the future of our nation. I am taking this word very seriously, spending much time writing these posts and asking Holy Spirit what we need to pray. I am asking you to pray for me and other leaders that we hear clearly, and also to help spread the word regarding this admonition. And please pray diligently during this season. This word does not mean we haven’t already accomplished great breakthroughs in the spiritual realm. It doesn’t mean we aren’t hearing correctly when we say we are close to breakthrough and turnaround. It simply means we must not stumble before we reach the finish line; we must not let down our guard even though we are winning the fight. In the World Seers Series dream I shared a couple of weeks ago regarding defeating the spirit of Baal in our nation, it was the eighth inning of the final game and we were ahead - but the game was not over and the enemy had not given up. We had to hear from Holy Spirit for the strategy to implement, and persevere in doing so. We must finish well! Do not become distracted. One of satan‘s greatest skills is to distract us from what we should be focused on. Praying for the turning of our nation back to God should be at the top of our list right now. Obviously, a serious llness, the need for a job, or a family crisis would also be at the top of the list. But generally speaking, there is NOTHING more important right now than praying for America’s turnaround and great awakening, including prayer for our government. Don’t fall prey to the deception that says, “politics/government are evil and unspiritual, so leave them alone.” Yes, the political spirit is evil; but government is of God. In fact, He IS government (Isaiah 33:22). The only institution more important on earth than government is the family (both natural and spiritual). The two mandates God gave Adam and Eve in Genesis 1.26-28 were family (be fruitful and multiply) and government (rule, manage the earth). Any church that does not emphasize both is failing. EVERY church should evangelize and build strong families, of course. But EVERY church should also be teaching on and encouraging involvement in righteous government. To do otherwise is to ignore the Genesis mandate and invite evil to rule. Congregations and individual believers who do not involve themselves in this second commission have no right to complain about ANYTHING government does. Everything about our future well-being - and the well-being of our kids and grandkids - hinges on America's turnaround and a third great awakening taking place. Worldwide harvest, liberty and freedom, economic provision, social causes (such as human trafficking, poverty, hunger, racism, etc), disease, famine, and more, all hinge on what happens in America. If we collapse - and we will do so without the spiritual breakthrough we’re seeking - evil dictators under the control of wicked spirits, and evil regimes seeking world domination will take over. America is the tool God intends to use for the preservation of freedom around the world and to reap the great harvest He intends to bring in. Winning the spiritual war we are in currently, is no less critical than defeating the Nazis in the Second World War. We must win! I believe we will. Pray with me: Father, please bring revelation to the church of our responsibility to pray for Your turnaround in America. May the spirit of intercession come afresh and anew on us. May we see clearly where we are in history. And may we see just as clearly that we have what is needed to turn the tide. Awaken us, please! Speak to pastors and leaders, revealing where we are in our nation and also throughout the earth. Remove distractions from us, and veils of deception that cause us to feel everything is fine. Make it clear that we are in one of the most critical times in history. Help us to see that our individual congregations, our careers, our personal plans and dreams are not what is most important at this point in time. Please bring prophetic revelation, lest we miss our moment in history. In Your name we pray, Amen. But first, since this is the first GH15 post of the year, “Happy New Year!” And may 2021 vanish quickly! Now, regarding 2022, first the bad news: America is a mess. The crisis is huge, the battle is monumental and the stakes are “winner take all.” I just watched an OAN news report showing a Lutheran Church, with a man dressed in drag, teaching small children - God knows what - about the Christmas story. The tagline read, “Lutheran Church Offers Drag Queen Prayer Time To Children.” Founder Luther, we could use another thesis or two. I switched channels to find something less infuriating. Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade was talking about the fentanyl now coming over the southern border. It is up 300% since Biden and the Dems took over; a record 100,000 people died last year from overdoses! It is now the leading cause of death to those ages 18-45. Why don’t we hear about this from our leftist government and their media arm? Don’t they know this is happening? Of course they do. But their power-crazed hearts have allowed their consciences to be seared. The “end” for them now justifies the “means.” Some “pawns” simply must be sacrificed in order for tyrants and despots to satisfy their insatiable lust for power. Several million more illegals means votes for those who let them in - other consequences be damned. It is despicable and ugly, but it is reality. I could depress, discourage or anger you - depending on your frame of mind when you read this - with several more disgusting and horrible results of our evil government - abortion, economy, Afghanistan, emboldened dictators and terrorists who want to destroy us, lockdowns, fear-mongering, socialism, demented leaders, woke-ism, but I will spare you the details. Besides, you are the choir - no point in “preaching” to you and giving you heartburn. I’m sure you know by now that the left is a movement under the complete control of spiritual, antichrist forces. They DO want to destroy the America you and I have known and loved, and COMPLETELY transform it into a godless, amoral, socialistic country. They DO - please remember this. And though, in their incredible deception, most on the left aren’t aware that their insane beliefs are demonic, this makes them no less dangerous. Now for some encouragement: we can stop them. Beyond being able to do so, we are called to. And we have arrived at the year in which we can break through. This is the year we can see evil roots uprooted and leftist, antichrist momentum stopped. This is the year we save America! Please listen carefully: that does NOT mean the war will be over; in fact, it will intensify. And the breakthrough will NOT be because of the midterms, though they are immeasurably important, nor will it be because we finally conduct the right gathering, implement the right strategy or follow the right leader. All of these things are good and necessary. But there is no one thing we will “finally get right” or “do right” that will produce this. On the contrary, we have been on a conquering, possessing, multi-year SIEGE, which has created a kairos window of opportunity - and the Ekklesia will seize it. 2022 is the “window year,” the momentum shift year, the Jericho year. It isn’t the “possess all the promised land year.” But we CAN now break the back of the entrenched evil, the spiritual forces of darkness and their quest to destroy America’s destiny and stop the coming worldwide harvest. This victory will allow individuals to be successful with the reformational changes we need in government, education, media, and so on. Our prayers will empower their actions; their actions will accomplish our prayers. Both are essential: we cannot do it without them, they cannot do it without us. Let me reemphasize the last statement: they cannot do it without our prayers. Trump can’t. Jim Jordan, Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, and other good government leaders can’t. Wise educators can’t. Good media sources can’t. And strong spiritual leaders can’t. Prayer is the fuel that powers the engine. It births the plan of God and blocks the plans of satan. It uproots, tears down, builds and plants, binds and looses. An appeal to heaven birthed our nation and an appeal to heaven will save and rebirth it. It still works. As prophetic intercessors, we must step up our game in the first quarter of this year. I will say more about this in the coming days. I have been sensing both the opportunity I spoke of above, and the intensified efforts of darkness to stop it. I am appealing to all who follow me - be very diligent in prayer over the coming months. Enlist as many others as you can to join the efforts. If you feel it helps, start by reading this post, and begin by praying with me. Holy Spirit will lead with further prayers. If you aren’t part of a good prayer group, find one. If you can’t find one, start one. It can be in person or by phone, morning or evening, in homes, churches or offices. Just pray. My good friend Chuck Pierce told me last week that “from now ‘til March 21, our (America’s) future hangs in the balance…get positioned properly.” I have been and will continue to diligently seek the Lord’s direction in this. I am also planning some longer podcasts to bring needed prophetic teaching regarding where we are currently in America, how we got here, and what God is doing to change this. They will not only help you pray more effectively, but will clear up confusion and even discouragement. And they will be teachings you can pass along, not only by recommending them, but also by teaching them yourselves to congregations and small groups. We will grow together. Get ready for a tumultuous but victorious year. Thank you for joining us in this spiritual, eternal cause. Multiplied millions of souls hang in the balance, and we, the Ekklesia, will tip the scales. We will. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your wisdom and foreknowledge. We thank You for the assurance we find in knowing You are never taken by surprise and never without a plan. You have declared the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) and it shall be so. Yet, our prayers and obedience to Your plans and purposes have a bearing on timing and the level at which we experience the privilege of partnering with You. We do not want to be like Moses’ generation, missing their opportunity and requiring Your postponing of it until Joshua and the next generation. We want to be a people that, when You looked ahead, You found faithful, knowing they would not miss their opportunity. We believe we are a Joshua generation of Caleb’s and conquerors - may Your grace be poured out making this even more so. Give us a victory in the Dobbs case regarding abortion. End Roe v. Wade by giving us at least five justices that hear Your heart and make Your ruling - regardless of how You have to do it. Whatever level of pressure You have to bring, whatever method You choose, please do this. May this ruling cause America to end baal’s reign over us, making possible the healing our land. And we pray that You orchestrate an increase of prayer in this pivotal year. We know this is THE year. We must break through. Give us direction, revelation, strategies, and heaven’s favor as we march around Jericho and begin the conquest of the land. Give us the momentum of revival increasing to a higher and more powerful level. We believe this is coming and we call it forth in the name of Jesus!
