And the office said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, “The sighting of the crescent was not proven with the naked eye last night in our region, despite the extensive examination and investigation, and therefore tomorrow, Sunday, is the first day of the sacred month of Muharram in the year 1444 of the Noble Prophet’s migration.” Mustafa Al Marsoumi
