THE FEDERAL COURT POSTPONES THE HEARING OF THE APPEALS OF THE AL-FATEH ALLIANCE

Baghdad-ALSharqiya December 13: The Federal Court in Iraq announced the postponement of hearing the appeals of the Al-Fateh Alliance regarding the recent legislative elections in Iraq to the twenty-second of this month. The court had held a hearing for the pleading of the lawyer of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Saadi, about the appeals, which included submitting the contract concluded between the Electoral Commission and the examining company as evidence issued by an approved technical authority to challenge the results through fraud. To conduct manual counting and sorting in a number of electoral stations in six governorates, where the operations showed a consistency with the results of electronic counting and sorting. The Al-Fateh coalition calls for re-sorting and manual counting in all electoral stations instead of limiting them to a specific number.
