Al-Kazemi discusses with Blackshart and foreign ambassadors bilateral relations and democratic and reformist entitlements in Iraq Time: 01/13/2022 15:48:43 Reading: 312 times {Political: Al-Furat News} Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi discussed, today, Thursday, the United Nations envoy in Iraq and a number of ambassadors of friendly countries in private; The Iraqi issue, bilateral relations, areas of common interests, and coordination in the international arena. Al-Kazemi received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plaschaert, and during the meeting, they discussed the various files in which the international organization cooperates with Iraq, and everything that would strengthen stability and move forward in the democratic and reformist entitlements in the country. The Prime Minister also received the French Ambassador to Iraq Eric Chevalier and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop cooperation and consolidate bilateral relations between Iraq and France. Al-Kazemi affirmed Iraq's keenness to build the best relations of partnership and exchange with France, in a manner that enhances the bonds of friendship between the two peoples, the Iraqi and the French. Al-Kazemi also received the Italian ambassador to Iraq, Maurizio Cricante, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting discussed aspects of joint cooperation between Iraq and Italy, which will head this year the NATO mission in Iraq after moving to the tasks of providing advice and training to the Iraqi forces, and the meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations for the benefit of the Iraqi and Italian peoples. Al-Kazemi also received the Russian ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Elbrus Kutrashev and his accompanying delegation. The meeting witnessed discussions on Iraqi-Russian relations, ways of developing them and prospects for their expansion, as well as discussions in the areas of Iraqi cooperation with friendly countries, and the strengthening of the positive Iraqi role, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the region.
