US citizens should consider contacting their 2 US Senators and Congress person if they are opposed to the 10’s of thousands of Syrian/Iraqi refugees that will be heading to the US. Write them your thoughts. Here are links to make it easy to find those who represent you. Senate: http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm?State=MI Enter your State….. and both Senators will pop up with E-mail addresses. Send them your thoughts. House: http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/ Enter your zip code: Go to the Representatives web page and find the contact me tab. Send your message. A sample message might be something like this: Dear Senator XXXXXX I am writing to share my thoughts on the Syrian/Iraqi refugees that are coming to America. I am totally against this policy. We shouldn’t have to worry about what we just saw happen in France, happening here in the future. Mid-East countries such as Saudi Arabia are not taking any of these Refugees. Could it be they know something we don’t? It is also troubling that 70% of the refugees streaming into Europe are males in the age group 18-35 years old. Wouldn’t it seem more logical that these refugees would be mostly women and children? Christians are being slaughtered over there. If we need to fill some unwritten quotas for bringing that areas refugees to America, please put the Christians at the head of the line. In conclusion I would ask you to support any legislation that would cross your desk suspending the Syrian/Iraqi refugees from entering America.
