National Oil Company was founded in the sixties of the twentieth century, and in the eighties canceled the decision of the former Iraqi regime during the Iran-Iraq war. In turn, MP Mohammad Kaveh member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Saturday said that the Iraqi parliament will begin in the next legislative term, to discuss the legal oil and gas, and the national oil company, to regulate the relationship between the federal government and local governments and regions on oil wealth. He said Kaveh said that "oil and gas legal legislation and the national oil company, will have an important role in ending the existing differences between the federal government and the government of the territory of northern Iraq on oil export mechanism," adding that "members of the National Oil Company will be representatives from all the provinces, including the northern region Iraq".
