Defect in the smart card program delay the disbursement of pensions for two months in Kut 04/29/2013 - 17:51 | Source: Economy and Business Author: Ahmed Hussein Alsumaria News / Wasit Retired student in the city of Kut, on Monday, the Ministry of Finance to intervene to late payment of salaries two months ago because of the smart card reading device for fingerprint, which was confirmed by authoritative source in the Rafidain Bank to a malfunction in the device software. He retired Allawi Mohsen said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", that "dozens of retirees have not been paid late two months ago because of the smart card reading device (ironing card) to imprint retired." It is noteworthy that the smart card program was introduced in 2005, and began working out with retirees and beneficiaries of social protection network and have been adopted by a number of government departments, and has contributed to disclose many of those who earn more than a salary from the state.
