Mubasher: The President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, affirmed that there is no problem with the delivery of oil to Baghdad.
The president of the region said in a press conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Sunday: "We are determined to solve all our problems with Baghdad through dialogue."
Barzani continued: "Our message to Baghdad ... that we are always and never ready for an agreement ... and the region has no problem with the delivery of oil to Baghdad."
The Minister of the Kurdistan Region for Federal Government Affairs, a member of the Kurdish negotiating delegation, Khaled Shawani, revealed last September the volume of the region's oil production, explaining the reasons for not delivering oil revenues to Baghdad this year.
Shwani added that during the year 2019, an agreement was reached on the budget, as the regional government committed to handing over the center revenues of 250 thousand barrels per day, indicating that the reason for not delivering the revenues during the current year is due to the lack of a federal budget for the year 2020.
