5-16-2012 SWFloridaGuy: DON'T CALL THE BANKS, DON'T CALL THE BANKS!!! Give me a break. First of all, the only people calling the banks are the ones telling you not to call the banks. The rest of us have all figured out there's no reason to call the banks in the first place, as THERE IS NO RV YET. This is reminiscent of last year's rumor that by going to the CBI website, we were crashing the server and delaying the RV. What a simplistic, almost childish view some seem to have of this whole process. I think it would be almost comical to Shabibi, to hear that a few small chat rooms in the U.S. believe they have affected the release of his country's currency, thereby affecting the entire global financial market, by picking up a phone and calling a local Wells Fargo branch. This is not how currency manipulation works and we play no part in this. The theory that we are somehow holding up the process is archaic even for newbies. I am very surprised to see people who have been in this game for years say such foolishness. We are at a critical juncture in this investment and our focus should be on Iraq and what happens after tomorrow. I do believe we could see resolution on issues we've waited years for rather quickly.
TODAY: More than $265-MILLION US DOLLARS in GARBAGE dinars sold by 16 banks different at the continuing GARBAGE RATE of 1160 Dinar to the dollar. That amounts to more than 307 BILLION worthless Dinar sold TODAY by International Banks banks that we are not supposed to call, who obviously haven't been told by these fabulous Guru's (who are NEVER wrong, of course) that an RV has been and continues to be imminent. Silly banks!
H-m-m-m. What's wrong with this picture?
Either there are STUPID banks or LYING Guru's.

THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO suspension of International Wires at Wells Fargo - - -PERIOD!!
What part of this post is an INTENTIONAL LIE and what part is just a "mistake" is unimportant. What IS important is that it is usually possible to CHECK if so-called "INFORMATION" provided by Guru's is FALSE - - -NOT JUST MISINFORMATION mind you, but outright FALSE!!
And IF they are FALSE and PROVEN FALSE. . .what can you even HOPE to believe from them about so-called "INTEL" concerning your dinars???

C'mon, Poppy. . . .If you're going to SPEAK, how about speaking like an adult? Nobody is impressed any longer with the now oft-repeated scarey "PTB's" or the "I KNOW BUT I CAN'T TELL YOU" lines. They just don't carry any weight any longer. Either check that your sources are CORRECT. . .or when they are repeatedly NOT correct, then DROP THEM and get some that are at least OCCASSIONALY right or at LEAST don't drag them all over the net as still being credible.

The World bank and the IMF are overseeing the long term structure building of Iraq's economy, and the stabilization of the currency is key.
Also critical, per the agreement, is the independence of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) from the government. The CBI is solely responsible for any decision related to banking and currency.
The agreement is called the "Stand By Agreement" (SBA) and is between the Iraq Government, the Central bank of Iraq and the IMF.
The Agreement has been extended to July 24, 2012. The SBA is extended until July 24, 2012. What happens then is up for prayer. Much depends on the growth and development of the banking structure and financial markets.
