Our team at IraqiXchange is specialized in Iraqi Market Research, analyzing companies, industries and the general Iraqi economy. The biggest obstacle to attracting more serious investment in Iraq has been the security issue, political stability and the lack of transparency. The first two issues have seen net improvements over the past years but it is the latter that is our main concern. Having analyzed the data available, we are highly encouraged by the prospects of post-war Iraq and today’s bargain valuations. We are convinced that as we continue to make market information available to the public, the flow of investment in Iraq will rapidly increase, positively affecting current valuations Our first phase consists of providing complete financials for all companies trading on the ISX. Each Company Financial Statement includes a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and an entire page of Financial Ratios. All financial statements presented are audited (unless otherwise indicated) and adjusted according to international accounting standards. In addition to individual company financials, we also prepare Industry Analysis. This analysis consists of the most important financial ratios for all companies across the industry and are divided amongst Profitability, Valuation, Financial Health & General Operational ratios. It provides an overview for each industry and allows investors to compare the companies within it and quickly pinpoint industry leaders and laggards In the near future, we will be adding a wealth of free information and resources to our website in addition to the paid content (company financials and industry analysis).
