If I could find a job that paid that well for only 20 min. per day I too would try to "drag it out" as long as I could. Only difference, my conscience would force me to actually WORK the
20 minutes I was on the jobsite. My only question is is that pay door to door or only when I would be in my seat?

Well, I just figured this out. The Iraqis finally released the news. No work on Thursdays for the next month. No wonder there is all this secrecy - They don't want word to get out that

Deltori - Why do you bash the way other people celebrate their holidays? Have you been there? Have you met any of them personally?
I have been - lived in the mid-east for several years. Enjoyed the people, found their families delightful and loved the holidays.
Agreed, they are not like ours, but neither was the food. Still good however. Perhaps if the USA hadn't changed our ways into the
"Modern" way we too would be people that the rest of the world enjoyed being with.

So that is what the "Practice" run was by our military in Tampa at the convention center a few weeks ago. Duh! I never even thought about it
being in regards to riots etc. etc. I keep wanting to believe we are still "nice" people.

Oh, what a relief! I was so afraid they were going to say new money the first of 2013 and actually stay with that date.
But I see the leopards have not changed spots - they have delayed it to middle of 2013. Bah Humbug.

May I add a few that should be considered?
How about NOT furnishing new vehicles for congressmen to drive when they come to office? Plus delete the gas for same.
"Normal" people are usually not furnished these items from their employers. Why should we pay for their benefits.
NOT paying a Congressman's salary for life - savings - A bunch
NOT paying100% of a congressman's health insurance plan
NOT paying a Congressman's salary when they are NOT working
I am sure there are a lot more that can be saved. This is just a start. Love to hear your ideas!

I have to ask, as head of Mass. - if he is so hot on governoring (is that a new word?) why was Mass in such bad shape when he left?
Except of course for the Romney healthcare plan which is really a success, with more people enjoying healthcare and costing the
state less. I am ready for the rebuttal. I am asking for information only. I did read that taxes went up considerably while he was the
"leader'.

Good post. I see they are getting around to abolishing resolutions relating to education from 1977, 78, 79 etc. etc. Lets see, Perhaps in the next 25-20 years they
will get around to reading laws regarding IQD values for 2012-2020. See, things do get done in Iraq. Just not on MY schedule.

Just a thought but what if a deal was struck that allowed Iraq to pay off its debts at the current low rate, but at a discount, say 1000 IQD per 3000 IQD Debt. with the knowledge that "soon" the 1000 IQD would actually be worth 3000 IQD and the creditor nations could then cash in and get their total debt balance paid in full. Just a thought.

I used to work in an insurance billing office for a medical dr. WOW! How we had to fight insurance companies to get them to pay! No wonder they contribute soo much $$ to our "for the people by the people " elected officials political campaign. I personally think that national health is the way togo. I propose everyone be put on Medicare - period. Cut out the middle men and get a one size fits all health plan - yes, even for government officials. When you think of how many government employees, including state, federal military, seniors, unemployed, etc. etc. We are practically there anyway. Why not make it official? Sorry insurance companies, that is just the way I feel.

Help! Please explain this is simple terms to me. If $1.00 becomes equal to 1,000 IQD how am I making money? My brain is telling me if I have 25,000 IQD and the value is $1.00 per 1,000 IQD would I not divide 25,000 by 1,000 IQD leaving me with 25 IQD valued at $1.00 each? Please tell me I am doing some simple thing wrong. Many thanks!

WOW! Why should I worry? After all did I not read that our esteemed government officials in charge of our USA nuclear energy plants rushed out and hastily re-licensed our aging
plants before any laws could be passed to stop such action? Guess they forget that if we die, so do they. Surely God weeps over our actions.

Having lived in the far east for many years I am a firm believer in acupuncture. First thing I did when i returned to USA was find one locally.
Worked wonders for me. When I arrived in Phillipines was quite ill with sinus infection. Local friend recommended a "Doctor" and took
me there. What a surprise to find he was an acupuncturist. He placed 3 or 4 think needles in my head and neck, we chatted about 5 minutes
and he asked, how do you feel? I felt great!!. It was 2 years before I had any other sinus problems. Made a believer out of me. Good luck

I was always under the impression that the President did not "rule" the United States. He/she can depend on help from Congress. Well, where was Obama's "help" when the Congress was clearly anti-Obama and as one member of the ruling body so aptly stated when Obama was elected: Our job is to ensure Obama fails. Well...... With that attitude no wonder the people of the U.S. were not represented in the best manner possible.
