  1. Well... I live in Indonesia and pretty much a lot of things are on hold during Ramadhan..... restaurants are asked not to open during the day or if they do open they must cover it from the sights. Spas, night clubs , etc are to be closed or impose to adopt a limited open hours (like only 3 hours a day). Banks are open but adopt shorter days.. as well as goverment offices. Although in reality most are not making any decisions, or heavy transaction until after Ied Fitr. D-7 and D+7 majority of business including banks will be closed. Schools especially state schools even taking a whole month holiday or again, adopt very short days without a lot of activities. Most of bussinessmen take the attitude "waiting" until after the Ied holidays. So, I'm imagining the same thing in Iraq as well....I think that beside the respect that is given towards the holy month, it's just hard to remain active and excited when you are hungry and thirsty all day! My 2 dinar! Cheers!
  2. it's been tomorrow since Oct 09 if I recall:(
  3. i hope you are right, but this was the rumor back in oct and then again in nov and then in dec and now. dont get me wrong but i do hope u right this time.
  4. But they are back to accept COD again???? Cornfusing to say the least??
  5. it's dinarbanker. Dean34 brought it up a couple of days ago. I personally thought that it is bad news for us. I'm thinking that whoever owns dinarbanker might just might have some information that RV is unlikely at this time, therefore he needs to up his sales volumes by investing in more vigorous advertising media. That being said, I can't be sure if there will be no RV in the near future as many have predicted, all I can say is wallahuallam (arabic for who knows..) of course, IMHO only.
  6. Yep yeeha! Just saw it on aljazeera a few mins ago! I hope this is a good sign. Who knows all of the wait will finally end sooner than we thought. Hopeful!
