This is very revealing...
Frist Barzani - Expose the corruption, show leadership (Abadi) and the willingness to call a bluff with the backing of the military. All this while consistently playing the national unity card. Retrieve the looted funds then rally the new found allies.
After that, the same can be done with Maliki with the backing of the rest of the country.
Not a bad plan and execution, this might work.
There are to many to thank for the updates so thanks to all at DV!!!
We've have been staying out of harms way and while it is always beautiful here getting/staying logged in has been quite a challenge.
My apologies on not specifying where here is but I'm thinking it's best to start this new habit on an open forum.
I've revised the list post RV and the 1st thing to happen is the installation of an encrypted internet satellite system even if it is only to stay in touch with my new found friends.

I am postulating that this posturing will lift the price of oil to $70+ dollars a barrel,
and that in the short duration we will see with the absence of the Kurds from Parliament those all important laws being passed under the muddy waters of imminent war with the Kurds.
What do you think all those meetings between Baghdad and the Kurds were all about?
Why has it not occurred to anyone that for Iraq to do something as radical as raise the dinar to .10 cents or even $1 dollar
that they would need to make it look like a complete mess before it happened?
We were told over ten years ago that just before the RV we would see what was to look like
COMPLETE CHAOS.

That was my first thought as well.
Why would the Treasury Secretary be at the Pentagon for a top level meeting regarding ISIS?
Perhaps part of this meeting is strategizing on locating and when to freeze their funds as it would be tough to ascertain how much currency was transported out of the country.
The last thing they would want is to have those dirt bags suddenly become part of the Billionaires Club.
This may play into the timing of all this.
