  1.

I see VND for sale on e-bay as of 25 June----- Much less than a 1 : 1 rate.

    Someone pls confirm -

1 - that the current VND currency  in use will continue to be used - it's just going to experience a value change

2 - is there a preferred denomination to obtain?

3 - used currency in good shape is OK - we don't have to try to purchase uncirculated bills

  2.

I checked - both Safedinar and Xchange of America have dong for sale. You can also see a lot being advertised on ebay.

Lead's me to assume it can be found other places as well.

Perhaps the VDN will kick off the dinar RV.

  3. Does  Vietnam plan to issue new notes like with the dinar?

Sounds like that won't be the case since it's an active currency - right ??

Assuming VDN is available at banks - which denominations are best to buy?  I see them on E-Bay - but don't want to buy collectors items that won't increase in value

  4. Of the female democrats who ran for President, I always felt Tulsi Gabbard was the best choice.

Her mil service, time and results in govt and common sense made here the obvious choice for me - if I were a dem.

Guess that's also what made her unacceptable to the donkey folks.

Not trying to start anything - just voicing an opinion.

  5. These boobs are playing Hot Potato with the Prime Minister slot.

If it weren't for the virus, I would like to think the population would finally be in the streets and the driveways of the incompetent govt. members and being very serious about expressing their distaste for the rampant incompetence and lack of Iraqi nationalism

Granted, the iranians have their grubby mitts in the pie and have for so long, Iraq is essentially a puppet state. That said, I believe that with protesters on the move, outside pressure form the financial community and the US in particular, this won't go on much longer. Either Iraq will simply fail as a state or they just may do something to increase the value of their currency.

Like most, I too am tired of their fumbling - basically on everything they have attempted. Pretty pathetic showing really.

It will be interesting to see how many more evolution's of - pass the prime minister - potato they will muddle through before an event occurs that will move the show to the next step. This is like one of those movies where the same scenes are replayed over and over with just a slight change each time to see if a new outcome occurs.

I do hope al-kazimi turns out not to be an iranian goon. Time for some real movement for the Iraqi people and their investors

Personally, I check out Blanche's ... Dinar Guru .... as often as Dinar Vets. You get some different opinions that can be thought provoking.

The articles I see as a waste of time are the ones similar to what Footforward posted yesterday.

It puzzles me to read someone basically say they have no idea what is happening or may happen.  My thought is - then what's the point in writing anything? ...........this is definitely an instance where - less is more.

Essentially - don't go out of your way to show you don't know much - but have no problem blathering about it.

Seems many of the people who want to be called a Guru do this. It's not hard to determine who is apparently doing some degree of research and who is just repeating and speculating for some kind of name recognition. Trying to be/ appear relevant for whatever reason is a human self worth issue that is very odd. You don't see it in the animal kingdom.

I know I can simply not read their stuff. Obvious problem is - you don't  know what they are writing is poop - until after you have read it.

  7. This is a great time to invest in just about anything. Would be mighty fine if the RV occurred asap so we could all make some great returns.

I suppose when the govt starts spreading out money to all of us - those who need and those who don't - should make the dems's happy. A taste of socialism.

  8. After having been informed - he has evidently already converted his dinar.

3-7-2020  Intel Guru OkieOilMan  ...I AM LED TO BELIEVE NOW THAT THE R.V. HAS STARTED FOR SOME DIFFERENT GROUP'S AND PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAD BEEN ON TOP OF THE LADDER SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM...I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE FIRST FEW DAY'S OF THIS COMING WEEK WILL FINALLY GIVE US THE RELIEF WE ALL HAVE BEEN NEEDING FOR SO LONG.  BE SURE YOUR PREPARATION WORK IS COMPLETED AND PREPARE TO BE INFORMED (FROM NUMEROUS SOURCES) OF YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR EXCHANGE OR REDEMPTION...THERE ARE NO STOPPING THE R.V. AT THIS PRESENT TIME .  PRAY ALL KEEPS GOING AS TO WHAT IS SCHEDULED IN A VERY FEW DAYS. RELAX TOMORROW AND BE PREPARED FOR THE WEEK WE HAVE ALL WAITED FOR——-SHALOAM

I really do wish people would stop with  - it's gonna happen on X date. They don't know - nobody does - so stop the prompting of misinformation.

No different than the ones out there hyping the virus. Just stick to the facts and don't cloud whatever credibility you may have.

  9. This is like watching - Keystone Cops.................endlessly repeating

Having worked in the ME for the last 14 years - what's transpiring is almost to be expected. Collectively, most of these folks couldn't agree the sun is overhead at high noon. The culture is never in a hurry.

I wonder if it has occurred to the protestors that it may be time to stop protesting in big fields where the army and police can get a good line of sight on them - and that it might just be time to start visiting the homes of certain Iraqi ministers and deliver their thoughts in person.

The again - same could be said for the cretins we allow to occupy political positions.

Granted we voted them in and through complacency allow them to stay - so who's the real cretin.

  10. I was pretty sure what we had was still good - not having seen any sign of widespread panic that would have occurred if our currency was being replaced.

Thank you kindly for clarifying. I haven't been paying much attention as of late and when I saw Adams statement about notes - did a double-take.

A new printed currency comes out within weeks or even days of the rate change, and we're all aware that the new notes are ready to be printed, if not already printed and being held for distribution.

Not sure I understand this statement.

I do hope these new notes mentioned are the stuff we have been purchasing over the past few years - not something new ?

    Thanks for clarifying

Are both of these versions of the dinar OK to have?

They were issued in different years with different security features. One difference I see is the agricultural scene.

Do we have to have the 2018 version with the person waving or is the earlier version - which is what I have - with the person holding reeds good as well?

    Thanks   John

Now that new leaders have apparently been chosen in Iraq - perhaps we will see some actual movement with the Dinar - soon

My question pertains to the Vietnamese Dong. What do you see happening with it? Still worth keeping or should it be sold and more Dinar purchased?

I know it floats with the US Dollar, so the question is - will that relationship ever really amount to anything even akin to what a Dinar RV would?

I did look in the forum area - not much at all re other currencies these days.

    Thanks   John
