I just gave myself a heart attack LOL. I bought VND about 3 years ago and with the news article I wondered how much I had bought. (I'm getting old and 3 years is a long time) I could not find it any where. Searched 4 a 1/2 hour, wondering if I had inadvertantly given it away..... SO quick tip, DONT PUT YOU CURRENCY IN SOMETHING YOU MIGHT FORGET ABOUT AND END UP GIVING IT TO A FRIEND!!!!!!!!!

Rottentwink is my sister. I've just been using her SN over the past 2 years to surf the message boards. we're both invested and waiting for payday just like rest of you.
I've discovered some of the programs on LINKTV are worth watching not only for the less than common news on Iraq but also for the other goings-on around the world. CNN, Fox, HLN, and MSNBC really don't provide the "flavor" (for lack of a better word) like Al-Jazeera news, Mosaic, and Democracy Now!. Alittle bit ago I jumped on the Al-Jazeera site and read an interveiw with Iyad Allawi. Basicly... He's saying different things than the chat logs from other sites and what not. Now... I'm not here to bash anyone. These people on the chat logs have been doing this for awhile... they probably do have a very educated alliance of people feeding them GOOD intel. MY THING IS: why arent we listening to the News orgs? is there something i'm missing? I mean to me, this interview is Gold cuz it comes from the very guy that was screwed out of the PM seat. This isnt the first time I've noticed ALJazeeras news falling on deaf ears. soooo... why?

Soooo,... when does the next tourist arrive?? They may have cancelled out all the debt but how long before another guy puts out that $100, people still need to eat, sleep.... the next tourist would have to shell out $200 and so on.

I wish we could get all the idiots to stop, but at what point do they become idiots?? What about the "others" that routinely post rumors that are nothing but hype?? (I cant post names but you oldtimers know who I'm talking about.)
You have to do your research, you have to take it all with a grain of salt but most importantly you have to realize that NO ONE has this intel. The ones that do do not owe us anything!! So if you must visit the rumor sections do so with a sense of humor or don't do it at all.

I have seen people come and go here. I have noticed that some of the new people that are on here just are not as nice as they were several months ago. The site does have a different feeling to me.
I have noticed a lot more off topic posts that just IMO have no place here. Seems to be a bit more whining as well, however DV is still the best. Thanks Adam.
I agree, I wont even go into teh chat room anymore, it used to be fun now it's drudgery. I miss Puffplus, Mrparrot, markisauncfan, and a host of others. So I stick to the forums, shake my head at the bashers and make sure I hit the + button on all the people willing to stick their necks out to give me information!! A special thanks to all who give the "heard it from a friend who" rumors, Also kudos to the ones who make a joke or post a "rumor that is way outrageous, nothing like a laugh to make me realize this isn't as serious as I make it out to be. Sorry for all of those who NEED it, I do to, but if it wasn't for the RV I would have no hope at all

This one is easy..... that it had happened, it was right there, going to rv, but was pulled at the last second. That makes me believe it is not a scam just a waiting game.

I might be wrong, but I thought it had more to do with paychecks, my numbers will be wrong but... if the guy working the desk is making 100,000 dinar a week now, after the RV he would be LOADED, so they have to cut the pay. he would be making a 100,000 dinar a year, and that would cause rampant inflation...

Rotten, Nice story...however....If she was hurt that bad and you were not such an A$$.....Why didn't you just go in and get the $2.00 item for her yourself..... You want to bash other people but you made her go in the store when you could have done it. You are the selfish, horrible, rotten person you are speaking of. I would have left her at home and gone to get her whatever she needed just so she could relax because that would be the right thing to do. Look in the mirror next time you type some stupid crap like that and ask.... Am I the selfish one?????

[i know a little about how greedy people are, my friend had to run into wal-mart for one thing, she had a real bad limp from working all day, I had given her 2 bucks for the item and went to bring the car around so she wouldn't have to walk. The bill came up to $2.08, she asked the well dressed man behind her if he had the 8 cents but he flat out refused to help her, she even said she would walk out with him and get the money from me, but he just stared at her. She ended up limping out of the store when a young black woman hurried up and dropped a dime in her hand.
I 8 cents, someone couldn't be bothered for 8 cents, I feel that was the most disgusting, horrible and selfish thing I had ever heard. If she hadn't been hurting really bad I could see, but she could barely walk. This happened in the Villages Florida, a retirement community where the money is spent on alcohol, golf carts and golf.
Sorry to rant but I just wanted you guys to know if you are looking for a place to retire to AVOID THE VILLAGES, everyone here seems really nice I would hate for you to get stuck in such an unhappy, selfish place.

Sonny, please dont leave, there are 3 pages already of people asking you to stay. We are sooo close, now is not the time to abandon ship, even with all the rats... who else will keep us grounded?? Who can we turn to for the straight info? If you leave it means the 3 Stooges win. I can think of 100 other reasons for you to stay,
I know you need to spend time with the family but dont leave us completely

I would love to retire and rescue abused and abandoned animal., I dont make much money so the longer this goes on the more I can buy, and the closer I get to my dream, when I have a $100 saved I order another 100k. Even if it doesn't RV, the money was worth it because of the excitement sparks up a rather dull life... Sounds silly I know....

A young lawyer and his wife were going to have a dinner party to celebrate his making partner in his law firm. He had invited all the partners and their spouses, they hired a maid to do some deep cleaning of the house and to help serve the dinner.
The couple had decided to serve steak and mushrooms and on the day of the dinner the wife went shopping, and came home in deep distress.
"I can't find mushrooms, the stores are out, and the ones they do have are very expensive."
the husband was upset, but logical.
"There are a ton on mushrooms growing behind the barn, use those."
"They could be poisonous" the wife said horrified.
"Well.... fry them up and feed them to Spot" their dalmation. "If he gets sick we will just have to pay for the expensive mushrooms."
The wife thought this was a brilliant idea and did as her husband suggested. After several hours the dog was just fine, running and playing in the yard, so the wife finished dinner making extra mushrooms for the steak and putting them in everything.
Dinner was over and everyone was pleased, the partners were congratulating the husband on his great party when the maid rushed in....
"Spot's DEAD" She cried "Oh NO SPOT'S DEAD!!!"
The party members were rushed to the hospital, stomachs were pumped and lawsuits were discussed, the husband and wife knew they were ruined. They returned home that morning and found the maid still sobbing as she cleaned up.
The husband thanked her for her help, and helped her on with her jacket.
"The worst part of the whole thing" she said "Is the truck that hit Spot didn't even stop."
