    Thanks for the reply Lady👍. None of my notes are Sadam Insane. And H*** yes I want to convert them to US dollars.  😁😁. I am at retirement now and after 12 yrs on this buggy ride, I AM READY to cash in.

    Adam : some time ago there was dialog around Iraq printing new currency notes. My notes are going on 12 yrs old now and I am wondering if they are still good or just so much gerbil bedding :)

    My notes are 10K and 25K.

    I am sure I will get some negative feed back - but color me skeptical. After ten years of being feed "raw meet" about the RV being tomorrow, this week, next week and so on, I have little confidence in 2-Aug - or this year for that matter. I have posted several times in the past, IMO the RV will not happen until the 1Q of a fiscal year. I wish I was wrong but to-date, I haven't been.
     
    The Iraqi politicians are much like our own useless, unproductive legislators.We are entering the "vacation" season and they take the months of Aug and Sept off for various reasons - not the least is the weather. When they return, they take time getting back into the swing of the job and start thinking about the next years budget. Then it's near years end and they check out again.
     
    Yes, the tea leaves seem positive, and I wish the Iraqi government would make me eat my words. I am sure I can choke them down with a huge slathering of RV sauce - and like it :)
     
    I want an RV and retire as much as anyone, but until the page comes (from Adam), I absorb these comments like everything else going on in the world today. I shrug my shoulders and say  what's next ....

    Like everyone - waiting as fast as I can for this pop :eyebrows:

     

    Q1 : I recently herd the budget should be signed this week. Please refresh my memory Adam, but I thought it had to be posted in the paper before it could be ratified. I cannot recall the order of the process.

     

    Q2 : When the budget is posted/passed/finalized - do you think some of the smarter members here will be able to tease out the future of the HCL and the projected RV rates ? :shrug:

     

    Q3 : Some time ago, it was reported Iraq applied for a credit rating. Any updates on that and what it means for budget and/or RV ?

    Don't waste the 20 minutes......I skimmed thru.

     

    He thinks 2016 is more likely for RV, mainly because his contact in Basra told him that ISIS has to be 100% eliminated and ALL of Iraq has to be under government control before they will RV.

     

    Claims he just came across the DinarVets website, when he actually posted here years ago.....well, maybe it was someone copying his posts here.

     

    Years ago when he was in Iraq, he claimed to know the exact "Highly Classified" documents that were in a briefcase one of the government members was carrying around.......information that only a handful of people in the entire world were privilege to.

     

    He also made other statements that I believe easyrider verified to be false.

     

    He ended by stating he's glad he answered all of the questions for Adam's weekly chat, because he did a much better job than Adam would have done.

     

    Not sure if this guy has any followers, but based on his last statement, he's very much into himself and I'm pretty sure he lost all respect from anyone with a brain.

    I am little surprised at the negative responses here. I may take some flack but the reality  is,  he has been dead on for the last 2 years with his reporting. A few yrs ago when everyone was convinced this was the time, AC reported it would not happen before 2014. He was correct.

     

    Personally, I balance Adam's reporting with ACs. I am not saying either is more correct or either has better insight. I am saying - stay grounded. Trust but verify. Oh wait  :eyebrows:  the same thing Adam says eh ?

     

    My personal opinion - I do not see this happening until 2016 either, based on the information in front of me today. Iraq is not ready, HCL or not. Security, corruption, the economy, the poor infrastructure and the high deficient. Lastly, the GOI has said the "remove the zero program will begin in 2016". That and $5 will get you a coffee.. I know  :)

    After 5 plus years of ridding this bus, I am ready for it to be over. BUT….

     

    I will probably get negative feed back, but as has been said 1000’s of time – we need to stay grounded. IMHO, nothing will happen until 1-Jan 2014. I PRAY I am wrong however consider :

     

    • Ramadan : This is a religious time for Muslims and the focus is their religion. Not business, not money, not governing – religion. That is why little happens during this time.

     

    • Although it has been reported the smaller denoms have been printed, to my knowledge, no one has confirmed seeing them. As Adam noted, they are needed to make small change. The only evidence they exist is the CBI and/or GOI has stated they will release them in 2014

     

    • Purely my opinion, but I do not think Maliki is done shearing the sheep and will continue his corrupt ways – bank rolling his billions to the max.

     

    • Purely my opinion but Sdar and Iran are still a threat that has not been addressed yet. I ties this to #3 above also. I simply do not trust Maliki and his corrupt government.  

     

     

    I know this is a wet blanket on GREAT news and am prepared to take the arrows. But I have no confidence this will happen this year.

     

    I DARE the CBI/GOI to make me a liar LOL :eyebrows:

    I Gave a + to the article and thanks for the post.

    BondLady has earned my respect and trust too , but I would like to see supporting links or doc to confirm this. She normally provides it. You'll forgive me if this sounds skeptical. We've been hearing "we are standing on top if this [RV] " now for 15+ months now and it's a little hard to get excited without confirmation.

    I do know about this site thank you. If I was not clear in my post, I have been very clear in others. I KNOW Trooper did not author this and pulled it from another site. My point is, when you post something like this, your personal credibility is questioned. Guilty by association. Chat or not, it's pure rumor with out support doc - something else this site supports - right ?

    Papster : would you post something like this ? From what I have seen you post, you do not. I highly doubt you believe this ergo it belongs in the rumor section because we don't have a "dumb chat of the day"

    area.

    I commend you for coming to troopers defense, but staying focused on whats real news and what's pure meadow muffins is the point. And I surely would not want my name attached to this "stuff. "

    I didn't ask for your opinion of them, thanks just the same. To answer your question, I think it is obvious that I do. I enjoy reading their posts just like I do alot of others. No reason to be ugly about it. You obviously don't have any relevant information to give.

    I agree. When they are focused on Dinar - they have some credible information. Sometimes the posts wander off and are not interesting. BUT I would reads Med and MM twice before I read anything Bulldog, OKIE et al have to say. Look at BullCookies stuff. Always "any minute now guaranteed" or $6+ ... $7+. I will continue to say : people who post that stuff should put it in rumor. It also ruins their credibility.
