  1. Mark63: I don't recall ever seeing you around. It's possible we don't frequent the same topics, according to your statement you inlaws created SS cards and ran up medical bills in Texas, that ,may be possible to deceive a hospital, but this thread was specifically speaking about the claim that illigals could get SS cards and get benefits from SS itself, and getting benefits from a hospital is not the same thing ...is it? Also I find it curious that you mentioned nothing regarding what an upstanding and responsable citizen should have done in a suspected case of fraud which would have been to report the offender(s) to the proper authorities for prosecution. I see no mention of you doing this and are therefore just as guilty as the alledged conspirators who were said to have defrauded the American people. If what you say is true then I would say that you are as guilty as they are.

As far as my being a latino...I wear my ethnicity as a badge of honor. We are a people who have strugled for our survival. I am completely secure in who and what I am. Nothing you can say will change that...personally I think your story is made up to promote your agenda.... Just in case it is true...should I assume the" 600 lb. obese self" in the story was your wife?

Maybe that explains why you did'nt report her to the authorities, the press would have been involved, they would have been all over you for an interview about the 600 lb. mastadon you married. A bit embarrasing huh?

My Carlos, aren't you the stereotypical liberal, attempting to turn an item into a personal shot at someone else, just as a conservative radio host has recently noted that liberals do:)(ditto) You've certainly proven that point. Please note that we have been around about the same length of time and I'm a little more credentialed on this forum than yourself.

With regard to your inept attempt to take a shot at me, Investmentportfolio answered a previous post and turned the discussion toward first hand knowledge of abuse by illegals of "the system". I was only adding my own personal experience of ex-inlaws, in this case a cousin of my ex-wife, who was taken to the hospital, spent 6 weeks in a combination of ICU and a private room until she was released. By law, anyones life will be saved in an emergency room in this country, and her life was saved, even though she is in this country illegally. She was given the finest care available, applied for indigent benefits through what is called a "gold card" and is not having to repay the cost of this lifesaving care which totalled near $500,000.00. We tax payers of Harris County Texas picked up the tab. As noted in this string, illegals in this country do receive benefits that they have not earned. Many work under faked circumstances (to which I'm sure you may have 1st hand knowledge) and those working in the US provide Mexico with the second greatest source of revenue to that country after its oil/gas production. If you truely are a member of the Latino community, then you know there are flagrant, blatant abuses of this countries laws and resources by members of your community. If you deny that, then you are either not tied to that community or you are being tremendously disingenuous. I have a healthy respect for Latino's. My children are chicano. I hire, develop and promote latino's who exhibit the quality's that first generation latino's bring to this country. As I'm sure you can attest, 2nd and 3rd generation latino's don't always share the work ethic of their parents and grandparents. My ex-wife, her parents and siblings are legally here in the US. I am in no way guilty of any illegalities. I am only pointing to my own first hand knowledge of an illegal immigrant that was extended life saving health benefits without having private insurance, group insurance or the ability to self pay her bill and we legal, taxpaying citizens picked up the tab.

Customs tariff law No. (22) for the year 2010 average

    in Federal Customs Posts

Law / Document Number (ID): 22

    Type of Law: Law

    Date Issued: 10 Feb 2010

    Date Published: 6 Dec 2010

2010 is probably when the law was introduced for debate and has just be passed and posted to the Gazette. Don't worry about the date. Coming out TODAY is what is significant.

  7. i dont agree with dr j i dont see iraq having the arab summit which is an economic summit without having a currency thats worth a crap!!

Not unless the attendee's have a general knowledge of what Shab's is goin' to do. But it also leads credance to Iraq as a player in the world again.

    Rockinrich,

I hope that I am wrong and you are correct BUT go back on this post and look at all of the other similar predications others have made in the past. It HAD TO GET DONE BECAUSE....(fill in the blank.). Time will tell.

    Dr. J

Dr. J, I respect your posts and hope that you come to DV with as much information as you have.

    Thanks much,

  8. Exactly!

    I gave you a +1

If you're going to post something online people, then please use proper grammar and punctuation! Not only is it much more difficult to read and detracts from the content in your post, but it also makes your post look less credible (think dinar Guru idiots). I'm glad you called this person out. It's a short, practically cookie cutter post about a bank story that is told using secondhand information. At least tidy it up and make it somewhat presentable, even if it's a complete fabrication.

Spelling matters, and so does grammar and punctuation.

    Queezy,

I think your handle says it all...........wound a lil tightwink.gif

  9. My father walked into a chase bank earlier today in phx to do something then he ask while he was there if he could buy some dinar and they said they don't sell it they only buy it and he ask what sense dose that make and the manager told him they've been ordered to buy it back but not sell it because there's gonna be a high revaluation within 6 months for a fact but of course there was no date or rate. Well that's my story

I plus'd you...... You posted a rumor in the rumors section....... Ignorant that you'd get Neg'd for that!!!!

  11. Did you see "notebook" ?

Yes it was a good movie based on true story.

    Happy Valentine's Day smile.gif

Didn't see "The Notebook". I know Rachel McAdams was in that as well. I like her and have seen several of her movies.

  12. Am i wrong i believe most of iraqs debt was forgiven except for some of the payments to kuwait and a few other place for reptriations .

Grant, the financial planner is blowing smoke. Dinarbanker will by back your dinar, discounted of course, but they'll buy it back. He can't in his good financial planner mind offer a "penny stock" type instrument that the dinar is, just like he probably doesn't have his clients invest in US penny stocks. This forum has an excellent grasp of what the dinar is and what it has the possibility of becoming. You'll find all the pros'/con's here. That's why this is a great place to get info and may an informed decision. Thanks for the postbiggrin.gif

  13. TP you just don't get do you, you keep saying the same things. You claim a write in vote is a vote for O this is baloney lets break it down. You have Romney a man worth 250 million dollars and change is running for for 400,000 dollar a year job. This tells me he is in the money circles. This also tells me he is not for all citizens of course by word of mouth he is. He has already made several comments that really is hinting at his true side of what he's about. He has plenty of showmanship in front of the cameras and as time goes on he will show the true side of himself.

Then you have Gingrich in some ways the man is a statesman he is seasoned by political circles over the years and knows how to work the media. But i remember the things he don't that ended his job in congress. He's got excess baggage to heavy to hide and its haunting him. Can he be trusted don't know based on passed record no.

Then there is Ron Paul, this man has a record for the last 30 years that speaks for its self. Is the man a flipflopper NO, Has he stood on his principles Yes. Congressman will not back him or indorce him because he has voted against them and their croney bills over the last 30 years. Is this man trustworthy Yes as his record proves it. Will he try his best to straighten up this country I believe so. So you see i think to many people are not thinking and researching they are letting the polls, the media, the political campaigns choose who they should vote for. Think what you will but i will vote for the man with the most truth on his record not just what is spewing out of his mouth to please the voters..............Heavyduty053

Heavy, Ron Paul is great on domestic affairs. He is HORRIBLE on foreign affairs. There's no way we can have a president that thinks Iran is OK to do what they please and develop nukes and who will not nurture our foreign relationships. Romney is a progressive, Gingrich is moderate and is UNDISCIPLINED and Santorum has 2nd ammendment issues that I'm concerned about. ANY of the 3 are better than Paul for the reasons I've stated. These are not knocks on Paul provided by the media, polls or political campaigns, they are from his own mouth!!!!! A vote for anyone in the general election other than the republican candidate IS A VOTE FOR OBAMA......................... As crappy as that is, it is what it is. That's the way the political system is at this point in time.

  14. Please do not get offended but a write in vote for Ron Paul will be a vote for Obama.

That statement is 100% true. To get rid of Obama, it takes voting for the Republican opponent. NOT that I think there is a super republican candidate, but the republican will be able to defeat Obama. Any third candidate will dilute the vote and give it to Obama just like it gave it to Clinton both times Perot mucked up the works in the '90's.

  15. Wow, that really points to where relationships fail. Folks quit communicating and "just move apart". Takes work to keep a relationship strong. I learned that the hard way. Did the "I'm workin' my butt off for the family" thing and now see my children much less frequently. Nice post.

  16. China isn't going to "call the note" after the RV, I am calling that a huge pile of crap. I am sorry but it is because of statements like this that I highly question this "source."

Neg me all that you want but I smell bull crap!

    Dr. J

I'm inclined to agree Dr.J. IF China ever "calls the note" so to speak, without the US or Euro Zone being stablized, they kill the golden goose and that will be the "reset" that has been spoken of.

    Mak63

  17. Thank you Duckhead. I agree with taking anything in print at face value is indeed dangerous. That is why that figure for the fine threw me off the bus so to speak. They will not be able to use the USD as a staple for to long with the reduction in velocity of dollars coming out of the CBI. Don't get me wrong they can still get them from the bank, but not in the amounts that you could substitute one for the other until the transition is complete with the decrease in auctions. Am I making sense?

If they were to RV at more than 1:1, that would be incentive to exchange dollars for dinar as the dinar value would be greater than the dollar and that would lead to de-dollarizing the country and perhaps lead to strengthening the view by the Iraqi's of the dinar and away from the dollar.
