The summit was attended by Iraqi government officials, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah, and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. In a speech at the conference, Macron vowed to maintain a French troop presence in Iraq “regardless of the Americans’ choices” and “for as long as the Iraqi government is asking for our support system" rel="">support.”
“There are currently 3,500 foreign soldiers in Iraq, 2,500 of them Americans, as part of the global coalition against the Islamic State group (ISIS),” Rudaw reported on September 1. France currently contributes 800 military personnel to Iraq’s international troop coalition.
Washington held diplomatic talks with Baghdad from June 11-July 26 to discuss America’s role in Iraq moving forward. The two sides agreed that “there will be no U.S. forces with a combat role in Iraq by December 31, 2021,” according to a joint statement released at the conclusion of the strategic dialogue.
“The United States intends to continue its support system" rel="">support for the ISF [Iraqi Security Forces], including the Peshmerga, to build their capacity to deal with future threats,” according to the statement. The Peshmerga are the military forces of Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan Region.
A member of the French government delegation that accompanied Macron on his trip to Iraq from August 28-29 told Rudaw on Saturday Paris “will continue to play a leading role in fighting terror” in Iraq in the coming months.
“France is working with the Iraqis and Kurds beyond the coalition. Even if the Americans leave, even if France can’t take over all the responsibilities of the Americans, France will continue to be beside Iraq and the Kurds to lead the fight against terrorism,” Jean-Jacques Bridey, the head of the French parliament’s France-Iraq Friendship Committee, told Rudaw on August 28.
An international coalition of troops in 2017 helped Iraq defeat Islamic State terrorists who took over about 40 percent of the country through a military campaign launched in 2014.

Putin's victories extended beyond winning any single election, Watts writes. His greatest success was building sympathetic audiences that Russia could use to disrupt nation-states from within their borders, Watts wrote.
Russia continued its campaign in 2020, according to a March 2021 report by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines. The report found no evidence of direct vote tampering, but assessed that Putin authorized Russian operatives to undermine confidence in the electoral process and to exacerbate "sociopolitical divisions in the US."
Russia's disinformation campaign is now aiming at undermining confidence in COVID-19 vaccines, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

I know people didn't like the manner in which he spoke, he was just blunt that's all, but what he did do was brought an enthusiasm to love America and to be proud to be an American in such a way that it energized more than half of America. If you've even seen his rallies, American flags EVERY WHERE proudly flying, people proudly yelling USA, USA, USA...what is wrong with that??? He did that, he made loving America ok again, and made people proud to live in America. You most likely have never heard him in a rally, but that's what he talks about, how America is the most beautiful county in the world and made me PROUD to be an American. But Joe Biden says American is systemically racist because I feel this way, why?

I read in the Gateway Pundent-sorry don't have a link-that if Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania show President Trump did win, there are enough Electoral College votes to make (or re make) him our President. Everything is just so crazy now, two years ago we would never be seeing what we are seeing. It's a war between good and evil, what is bad is promoted as good and what is good is being labeled as bad! But God never loses!

Oh so there is something that went up in price for you, you said in a previous thread that everything relatively remained the same in price for you. Again not looking for a fight just trying to figure out why when this administration took office I am suddenly counting my dollars as virtually everything has gone up in price. How is this admin making my life better, I find myself looking down a road that is way different now than a year ago. I literally live on the favor of Jesus!

Ok aside from all that tension between you two, for me I'd like to know what has this Administration done to make our lives better. I work two jobs and fear now I'll struggle even more. I'm paying way more for gas, my grocery bill exploded, my son's medication has gone up. I'm too old to get a third job. How has this admin made my life better?

Always enjoy your posts LGD. There is always hope and I'm seeing it especially in the youth! Many millennials accepting Jesus! Listen to them, at the grocery stores, restaurants lots of occasions of being said "Have a Blessed Day", online, in my own family!! I see God raising up an army of youth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start a conversation of with one and you may be very happy to hear the direction it goes. I feel like I've have a mini service in the grocery many many many times. I love it, while the enemy goes around tearing down, God is raising up the youth!!! Try it, start a little conversation with them and see where it goes, most times you will like what you hear and be lifted up, and in turn I pray for them. I've cried on several occasions the beauty of it, God raising up the youth to join us in the fight!!!!!!!!!!
