  1. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer on Wednesday ordered state agencies to deny driver's licenses and other public benefits to young illegal immigrants who obtain work authorizations under a new Obama administration policy. In an executive order, Brewer said she was reaffirming the intent of current Arizona law denying taxpayer-funded public benefits and state identification to illegal immigrants. Young illegal immigrants around the nation on Wednesday began the process of applying for federal work permits under the Obama administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. The federal policy defers deportations for that group if they meet certain criteria, including arrival in the United States before they turned 16 and no convictions for certain crimes. After President Barack Obama announced the policy change in June, Brewer labeled it "backdoor amnesty" and political pandering by the Democratic president. Arizona has been in the vanguard of states enacting laws against illegal immigration. The U.S. Supreme Court in June overturned parts of the Arizona enforcement law known as SB1070 but ruled that a key provision on requiring police to ask people about their immigration status under certain circumstances can be implemented. The Obama administration challenged that law in 2010 after Brewer signed it into law. In the past decade, Arizona voters twice approved laws denying publicly funded services, such as in-state resident university tuition rates, to illegal immigrants unless mandated by the federal government. Brewer's order said the policy's federal paperwork doesn't confer lawful status on illegal immigrants and won't entitle them to Arizona public benefits. However, it said the policy change "could result in some unlawfully present aliens inappropriately gaining access to public benefits contrary to the intent of Arizona voters and lawmakers who enacted laws expressly restricting access to taxpayer funded benefits and state identification." Brewer directed state agencies to start any necessary emergency rulemaking processes to implement her order. State Rep. Catherine Miranda, who supports the federal program, called Brewer's action mean-spirited. "She just continues to put obstacles in front of young people in Arizona," the Phoenix Democrat said. Rep. Martin Quezada, D-Phoenix, said he questioned whether the order would have much practical effect under Arizona's current laws. But he said it served to demonize good kids who should be allowed to get state-issued identification and enter the workforce.
  2. NEW YORK – The intimate, fatherly relationship with pornographer and card-carrying communist Frank Marshall Davis that Barack Obama captured in a disturbingly graphic poem has led many to speculate Obama was sexually abused as a teen. Davis, who wrote of molesting a 13-year-old girl in a quasi-autobiographical novel, has been identified as the “Pop” in a poem that describes “amber stains” on both Obama’s and “Pop’s” shorts. A psychotherapist who also notes the parental abandonment Obama suffered in his childhood says that while she can’t prove it, “the degree of Obama’s disconnect reminds me of my sexually abused clients.” Writing under the pseudonym Robin of Berkeley, the psychotherapist says Obama’s poem “evoked images of sexual abuse.” Many pundits who have examined Barack Obama’s unconventional childhood have marveled at his ability to overcome significant personal obstacles to become the leader of the free world, but it’s not hard to imagine there have been consequences. Speculation about Obama’s sexuality has roiled beneath the radar of establishment media, fed, among other things, by Larry Sinclair’s sensational claims of cocaine-fueled homosexual acts with Obama in Chicago and reports of Obama’s “transgender nanny” in Indonesia. Now, the former radical activist from Occidental College who has recounted a 1980 encounter in which Obama affirmed revolutionary Marxist views tells WND in an interview his strong impression at the time was that Obama and the wealthy Pakistani roommate who accompanied him were homosexual lovers. John Drew, who founded the Marxist-socialist club at Occidental to which Obama belonged, says he met the future president in December 1980 when Drew was a 23-year-old second-year graduate student at Cornell University. Obama, a 19-year-old sophomore at Occidental at the time, was with diminutive Pakistani roommate Mohammed Hasan Chandoo. “I really had the feeling that Obama was Chandoo’s ‘boy toy,’” Drew told WND. Drew, who earned a Ph.D. from Cornell, is an award-winning political scientist who taught political science and economics at Williams College. In previously published accounts of his meeting –dating from the 2008 presidential campaign – Drew made clear his conclusion that Obama and Chandoo were both Marxist revolutionaries. Contrary to Drew, who remarked he was not as radical as Obama, Obama believed a violent, communist revolution was coming to the U.S. In the interview with WND, Drew focused on his suspicion the two were romantically involved. “The first time I saw Barack Obama and Hassan Chandoo together, I thought they were a wealthy *** couple,” Drew said. “In fact, they looked so *** that my girlfriend, Caroline Boss, whispered to me, ‘They’re not ***.’ So, that confirmed to me I wasn’t the only one who thought Barack Obama and Hassan Chandoo looked like they were in a very close, intimate relationship.” John Drew and his college girlfriend, Caroline Boss Drew admits he was confused about Chandoo’s sexuality, considering it possible the Pakistani was bisexual, especially after he learned Occidental classmate Margo Mifflin was Chandoo’s girlfriend at the time. “I remembered Mifflin from my senior year at Occidental when we had both participated in various protest events on campus,” Drew commented. “I had the impression that Mifflin was living with Chandoo and Obama in Chandoo’s apartment in Pasadena.” WND has made repeated unsuccessful attempts since 2008 to contact Chandoo and another Occidental roommate, Pakistani Wahid Hamid, including an attempt made for this article. WND also received no response to a request to the press office of the Democratic National Committee, as directed by the Washington, D.C., office of the Obama 2012 presidential campaign. Christmas break The 1980 meeting took place during Christmas break at the Portola Valley, Calif., home of Boss’s adoptive parents, near Stanford University. At the time, Boss was a senior at Occidental. Boss and Obama had become friends through classes they took together in the spring and fall of that year. From the first moments he saw Obama and Chandoo together, Drew suspected they were lovers. “They were very close to each other physically,” Drew said, recalling watching them arrive at the Boss residence in a luxury car. “I don’t know how else to describe it, but they looked like two young men who had a very close, intimate, emotional attachment,” he said. “I never saw them hugging or kissing, but I saw them standing very close to one another. It looked like they were very in tune with each others needs.” Drew said Obama and Chandoo arrived at the Boss residence in the late afternoon and stayed with Drew, Caroline Boss and her family through dinner at a local restaurant. “I had the feeling Chandoo put Obama on this pedestal where Barack Obama was just this great-looking guy, with wonderful educational experience from Punahou Academy. And I just got the feeling that Chandoo considered Barack Obama to be almost one of his prize possessions.” In Drew’s piece for the American Thinker, he emphasized the importance of Chandoo’s relative affluence in his relationship with Obama: When I first saw Obama, I remember I was standing on the porch of Boss’s parents’ impressive home as a sleek, expensive luxury car pulled up in the driveway. Two young men emerged from the vehicle. They were well-dressed and looked like they were born to wealth and privilege. I was a little surprised to learn they were Boss’s friends from Occidental College until she articulated the underlying political connection. “They’re on our side,” she said. Drew noted that the “taller of the two was Obama, then only 19, who towered over his five-foot-five companion, Mohammad Hasan Chandoo – a wealthy, 21 year old Pakistani student.” “Chandoo had a full dark beard, neatly trimmed mustache, and was dressed in expensive clothes,” Drew wrote. “Nevertheless, Obama was the more handsome of the two. At six foot two, Obama carried himself with the dignity and poise of a model. The diminutive Chandoo, in contrast, came across as more of a practical businessman type.” He pointed out Obama “displayed a visible deference to Chandoo when they were standing together at the vehicle.” In the interview with WND, Drew affirmed the economic disparity between the two was an obvious component of the relationship. “On that ‘boy toy’ angle,” Drew said, “I think that Barack Obama enjoyed a much more lavish, luxurious and pleasant life style at Occidental College because of his connection to Hassan Chandoo than he did at Columbia without the direct financial support of Chandoo. “Obama enjoyed a lot of benefits from having a wealthy Pakistani friend while he was at Occidental,” said Drew. Obama has claimed that at end of his sophomore year at Occidental, he took a trip around the world in which he and Hamid stayed for three weeks at the home of Chandoo’s wealthy and politically important family in Karachi. Drew told WND that on that December 1980 day, Chandoo went to lengths to put Obama on a pedestal, making sure from the first moments of the visit that it was known that Obama was a graduate of Punahou Academy in Honolulu, presenting it as an exclusive and prestigious private college preparatory school. “I can’t remember Obama praising Chandoo in the way Chandoo sung the praises of Obama,” he said. Unmarried Obama wore wedding ring? Drew told WND he was not aware at the time of his 1980 meeting that Obama was wearing a gold-band ring on the wedding ring finger of his left hand. He first learned of it in two articles WND published showing Obama was wearing the ring from his years at Occidental College, from 1979 to 1981, through 1990, when a satirical issue of the Harvard Law Review referred to it. Despite Drew’s credibility, he was not interviewed by sympathetic Obama biographers David Remnick for his 2010 book “The Bridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama” or David Maraniss’s 2012 book “Barack Obama: The Story.” Author Paul Kengor discusses Drew’s testimony that Obama was a Marxist-Leninist at Occidental in his 2010 book “Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century,” beginning on page 445, and in his 2012 book “The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis – The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor,” beginning on page 10 and resuming more extensively on page 249. Author and WND columnist Jack Cashill mentioned Drew’s testimony of Obama’s Marxist views on page 224 of his 2011 book “Deconstructing Obama: The Life, Loves, and Letters of America’s First Postmodern President.” Author Stanley Kurtz discusses Drew’s contention that Obama was a “pure Marxist-socialist” at Occidental in his 2010 book “Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism,” on pages 9-10 and again on pages 88-91.
  3. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., has promised constituents he would contact Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona to be briefed on details of the sheriff’s law enforcement investigation into Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility. In a video posted on YouTube.com, tea-party activist Miki Booth is seen at a public appearance confronting the senator about a letter she wrote to him. To date, however, Arpaio has received no contact from Coburn or his office. In a second press conference held in Phoenix July 17, Mike Zullo, lead investigator in Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse investigative team, reported there was conclusive evidence that the long-form birth certificate posted on the White House website April 27, 2011, is a computer-generated forgery. See Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s most recent press conference on Obama’s eligibility Arpaio’s investigators also have reported that Obama’s Selective Service Registration form was a forged document. In addition, the team found computer codes handwritten on the Obama long-form birth certificate are inconsistent with information filled out on the form, suggesting the document had been altered. Zullo told WND he would welcome inquiries from Coburn, and he was confident Arpaio would be enthusiastic about sharing the results of the investigation with Congress. In both press conferences on the Obama investigation, Arpaio called specifically for a congressional investigation to examine Obama’s eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution. In February, Booth published a book of her political experiences, “Memoirs of a Community Organizer from Hawaii.”
  4. Artur Davis In 2008, he was one of the biggest champions for Barack Obama, even serving as an Obama campaign co-chairman and seconding Obama’s nomination at the Democratic National Convention. But that was then and this is now. Today, Artur Davis, a former four-term Democratic congressman from Alabama is now supporting Republican Mitt Romney for president, and is joining him on the campaign trail in Arlington, Va. Just last month in Falls Church, Va., Davis gave a rousing address to the Northern Virginia Tea Party, rallying the crowd to defeat his former ally Obama. The Birmingham News indicated “Davis’ sermon-like speech, invoking both the 1980 Reagan revolution and Rosa Parks, earned a standing ovation and chants of ‘USA.’” During that speech (scroll down for video), Davis also encouraged young people: “You tell everybody your age that being Republican is cool, being conservative is the right thing to do. It’s the right set of values. You testify, you minister, and you bring ‘em on board with you, because we’re not going to concede young people to the Democratic Party in 2012.” Two years ago, Davis ran unsuccessfully for governor of Alabama, and in May of this year, he left the Democratic Party to become a Republican. In June, Davis said he thinks his former political party was becoming more unwelcoming toward Southern conservative Democrats. “I think the Obama administration has candidly gone too far to the left. You can raise all kinds of questions on whether that’s good politics or not,” he said on CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.” “Obviously the election will determine that.” According to the Hill, Davis was the only black Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives to vote against Obamacare. The Hill notes, “He has grown increasingly vocal over his disagreements with his party, at one point lamenting on his website that ‘[the Democratic Party of today] is not Bill Clinton’s Democratic Party.’” ABC News called Davis “this season’s most high-profile political turncoat, which puts him in some heavy-hitting company.”
  5. A new poll shows that 40 percent of the youth vote, virtually in Barack Obama’s pocket four years ago, now is going to likely GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney; a one-time strong supporter of Obama now is campaigning for Romney and a Democratic committeewoman in Pennsylvania has left not just Obama but the entire Democratic Party. Now with just weeks to go before the 2012 presidential election, Bishop E.W. Jackson, chief of the “Staying True to America’s National Destiny,” is urging that those individual actions become a flood. He – and others – say the Obama administration simply has included among its goals the diminishment of faith and Christianity, and that’s not right. “There is a concerted effort to do away with all symbols of our Judeo-Christian culture, to deny our right of conscience in matters of faith and to attack Christians, Catholic and Protestant, who dare to speak openly of their faith,” Jackson said. “However, there is a silver lining in all of this. This may be an opportunity for an historic shift in the cultural and political direction of our country if Christians of all races will unite in rejecting the godless left agenda of the Democratic Party.” In the Washington Examiner just today, there was a report that 40 percent of the youth vote now is backing Romney. The report, citing pollster John Zogby, said that would be trouble for Obama, who needs every young voter he can get. Then on CNN, reports confirmed that a former four-term Democratic congressman from Alabama, Artur Davis, who once was a strong supporter of Obama, is campaigning for Romney. It was several seeks ago when former Democratic Pennsylvania committeewoman Jo-Ann Nardelli, who also served as president and founder of the Blair County Federation of Democratic Women, announced that she was leaving the Democratic Party for the GOP. Jackson now is calling on people of faith of all races to begin a mass exodus from the Democratic Party, echoing concerns expressed by a number of high-profile Christian groups over Obama’s treatment of the faith of the nation’s fathers. “This is not my father’s party,” Nardelli told the National Catholic Register at the time of her decision to change affiliations. “I did not leave the party, the party left me.” She noted until Obama, there always was room for pro-lifers, who express the Bible’s perspective on abortion and the unborn, and their views in the Democratic Party. “I thought I could make a difference to change our party. … It didn’t work,” Nardelli explained. “I noticed that it’s been going more and more to the left.” Jackson, a candidate for the U.S. Senate in Virginia a couple months ago, believes that the relentless White House attack on Christian values warrants an all-out exodus from the party in office. “Now we have found that in September, the Democratic Party is going to declare same-sex marriage an official plank of the party platform,” Jackson said. “This is nothing short of a declaration of war against Bible-believing Christians, and it will have far reaching implications.” He said this current administration has chosen to fight God. “They will be spitting in the face of every Bible-believing Christian in America,” Jackson asserted about the Democratic Party’s stance on social issues. “They will be saying, ‘We don’t care what you think, what you believe, or what the Bible or the God of the Bible says. We know better than God.’” Jackson, a Harvard Law School graduate, describes the Democratic Party as having a “cult-like devotion” to abortion with its consistent attack on biblical family values ─ and on those who support them. “The Democratic Party has turned its back on Christians,” Jackson argues. “It is time to turn our backs on the Democratic Party.” He reminded Americans that the very policies they have voted to protect have been disregarded by the current administration, which refused to pick up the last Bush administration’s legal battle to uphold the federal Defense of Marriage Act in court. “That the Democrats would do this, in spite of the fact that voters have overwhelmingly voted for [state] constitutional amendments to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman, shows that this party has decided to rebel against the people and against God,” declared Jackson. “Just as with Obamacare, they will shove down our throats what they determine is best, regardless of the Constitution or the will of the people.” Jackson said Obama’s abortion advocacy alone is problematic. Worse yet is the Obamacare requirement that employers provide contraceptives and abortifacient drugs to employees. “To kill babies for our convenience is the equivalent of an idolatrous offering to the god of ‘sexual license,’” Jackson stated in his official stance on abortion. “It is no different than in times past when pagans offered their babies on an altar of fire to assure their own good fortune. Our fortunes as a nation lie in accepting responsibility for our actions, not running from them or destroying unborn children to avoid them.” Jackson also claims that the direction the U.S. has taken over the years ─ in the name of tolerance and diversity ─ has the ultimate effect of dividing citizens and blurring their true heritage as Americans rather than uniting them in the truth of our past. “We have been made to feel ashamed and to deny the nobility of our republic,” Jackson said in his stance on the teaching of what popularly is known as multiculturalism. “It is time to reclaim and restore that nobility. It is time to end the historical revisionism that [academia] and other extremist and anti-American political forces have pressed upon the American people and our institutions. We have Black History Month and *** Pride Month, but these only serve to further balkanize us. It is a sad commentary on our culture that many find it appropriate to celebrate sexual orientation, but not our common heritage and culture.” Jackson refers to recent attacks on Christian expression as a representation of the political and moral climate espoused by Obama administration. “The response to Dan Cathy of Chick-fil-A exposed the left for the hateful people they are,” Jackson attests. Cathy’s chain of Chick-fil-A stores faced criticism for Cathy’s statement of support for traditional marriage. In light of that, Gov. Mike Huckabee organized a day of support for the restaurant chain, resulting in hundreds of thousands of customers lining up for hours at Chick-fil-A stores across the nation. But the bishop was calling out Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s threat of a city-wide ban on Chick-fil-A and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s denouncement of Cathy’s pro-family stance that he dubbed as being anti-”***” marriage. Jackson went on to cite criticism of an American Olympic gold medalist by journalists for the progressive online magazine Salon.com, Mary Elizabeth Williams, who he considers to be a “Democratic operative.” “Even 16-year-old Gabrielle (‘Gabby’) Douglas, Olympic Gold-winning gymnast, was attacked for daring to give glory to God for her win,” Jackson said. “Progressives are indeed ‘unnerved’ by devout Christians. That’s why they resort to ridicule, even of a 16-year-old Olympic medal winner.” According to Jackson, these attacks are just the tip of the iceberg. He cites attacks launched by the American Civil Liberties Union, the Freedom from Religion Foundation and others against towns and governments to remove any references to Christianity in the public square. Christian legal organizations such as Liberty Counsel, the American Center for Law and Justice and the Home School Legal Defense Association have defended citizens’ constitutional rights to religious expression protected by First and Fourteenth Amendments. Jackson said if voters don’t break their allegiance to the Democratic Party and cast their ballots to preserve the biblical foundation upon which America was built, they will give those in office free rein to continue this nation’s destructive path. “May we turn back to the direction our Founding Fathers set for us of freedom, opportunity and respect for our Constitution and our God-given rights and the vision of one nation under God,” Jackson said. “This may well portend the beginning of the black community rejecting its long enslavement to the Democratic Party, in spite of its anti-Christian agenda.” While not every organization has called for a mass exodus from the Democratic Party, other top Christian legal organizations have called on Americans to join the fight against the Obama administration over the assaults on Christianity. The American Center for Law and Justice got nearly 15,000 Americans to sign a petition to “defend the rule of law against an imperial presidency” when it protested Obama’s move ordering the Department of Justice not to defend the law set by the federal Defense of Marriage Act. “It’s a power-grab of unprecedented proportions, an out-of-control move that exceeds constitutional limits,” ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow declared, regarding Obama’s order to the DOJ to cease its legal defense of DOMA. The law was passed by Congress and signed into law by former President Clinton. “Why? Simply because he doesn’t like it.” Sekulow points out that Obama not only shirked his duty as president, but acted as a tyrant when he refused to defend marriage and declared DOMA unconstitutional. “The Constitution specifically provides that the president shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed … and this includes defending those laws in court,” Sekulow said. “The president and his Department of Justice have an obligation to defend and enforce existing laws – even a law they don’t like, unless the Supreme Court of the United States were to declare it unconstitutional. The president is not a king who can unilaterally decide what our laws are. America is a constitutional republic, not a monarchy.” Liberty Counsel also has much to say about the president forwarding his anti-Christian policies, especially with regard to health care and the military. “Obamacare is the biggest expansion of federal government since the New Deal,” Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver contends. “If federal bureaucrats can force every American to buy health insurance, then the government can force everyone to buy, for instance, health food, or a particular brand of motor vehicle.” Getting past the authoritative and un-American aspects of Obama’s health care policy, Staver illustrates how the controversial plan will affect Americans’ pocketbooks and end up killing preborn children. “Further, Obamacare will seal the fate of Americans by adding trillions of dollars more to the national debt,” Staver added. “Obamacare represents the biggest federal funding of abortion in history.” Staver also explains how Obamacare will attack religious freedom. “In addition to abortion, a recent Obamacare regulation now requires most religious organizations to provide birth control coverage, along with abortion-inducing drugs,” Staver asserts. “Liberty Counsel will not rest until Obamacare is gone, either through the court challenge or through repeal by the legislature!” Liberty Counsel also calls out the Obama administration for its blatant advocacy of the homosexual agenda to undermine marriage, the family and national security. “At the president’s urging, Congress repealed the military’s ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy and thus converted our armed forces into a training ground for sexual perversion,” Staver recounted. Staver further notes a declaration Secretary of State Hillarious Clinton made within the past year at a United Nations meeting in Geneva. “[she] announced … that the Obama administration would engage in ‘a wide-ranging effort to use U.S. foreign aid’ to promote the rights of ‘gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered persons,’” said Staver. “Such immoral policies will inevitably destroy our culture!! We must get America back on the right moral track.”
  6. The Swede's wife steps up to the tee and, as she bends over to place her ball, a gust of wind blows her skirt up and reveals her lack of underwear. 'Good God, woman! Why aren't you wearing any skivvies?', Ole demanded. 'Well' she said, 'you don't give me enough housekeeping money to afford any.' The Swede immediately reaches into his pocket and says, 'For the sake of decency, here's a 50. Go and buy yourself some underwear..' Next, the Irishman's wife bends over to set her ball on the tee. Her skirt also blows up to show that she, too, is wearing no undies. 'Blessed Virgin Mary, woman! You've no knickers Why not?' She replies, 'I can't afford any on the money you give me.' Patrick reaches into his pocket and says, 'For the sake of decency, here's a 20. Go and buy yourself some underwear"! Lastly, the Scotsman's wife bends over. The wind also takes her skirt over her head to reveal that she, too, is naked under it. 'Sweet mudder of Jaysus, Aggie! Where ta friggin hell are yer drawers?' She too explains, 'You dinna give me enough money ta be able ta affarrd any.' The Scotsman reaches into his pocket and says, 'Well, fer the love 'o decency, here's a comb.... Tidy yerself up a bit.'
  7. Maggie123 and Ordinare both prove the point here. While it is perfectly alright for the minorities to complain and protest and the pretender obami to openly promote "african American " politics as opposed to American politics , it offends the ignorant and bleeding heart liberals when presented with the facts . Ordinare you might not like the truth ,but I suggest you do some research before calling any one retarded .
  8. Roger, 85, married Jenny, a lovely 25 year old. Since her new husband is so old, Jenny decides that after their wedding she and Roger should have separate bedrooms, because she is concerned that her new but aged husband may over-exert himself if they spend the entire night together. After the wedding festivities Jenny prepares herself for bed and the expected knock on the door. Sure enough the knock comes, the door opens and there is Roger, her 85 year old groom, ready for action. They unite as one. All goes well, Roger takes leave of his bride, and she prepares to go to sleep. After a few minutes, Jenny hears another knock on her bedroom door, and it's Roger, Again he is ready for more 'action'. Somewhat surprised, Jenny consents for more coupling. When the newlyweds are done, Roger kisses his bride, bids her a fond good night and leaves. She is set to go to sleep again, but, aha, you guessed it - Roger is back again, rapping on the door and is as fresh as a 25-year-old, ready for more 'action'. And, once more they enjoy each other. But as Roger gets set to leave again, his young bride says to him, 'I am thoroughly impressed that at your age you can perform so well and so often. I have been with guys less than a third of your age who were only good once. You are truly a great lover, Roger.' Roger, somewhat embarrassed, turns to Jenny and says: 'You mean I was here already?' The moral of the story: Don't be afraid of getting old, Alzheimer's has its advantages. PS.. Have I sent this to you already?
  9. A lady had 3 virgin daughters. They were all getting married within a short period of time . Because Mom was a bit worried about how their sex life would get started, she made them all promise to send a postcard from the honeymoon with a few words on how marital sex felt. 1.)The first girl sent a card from Hawaii two days after the wedding. The card said nothing but: 'Nescafe'! Mom was puzzled at first, but then went to her kitchen and got out the Nescafe jar. It said: 'Good till the last drop'.. Mom blushed, but was pleased for her daughter. 2.) The second girl sent the card from Vermont a week after the wedding, and the card read: 'Rothmans' Mom now knew to go straight to her husband's cigarettes, and she read from the pack: 'Extra Long. King Size' She was again slightly embarrassed but still happy for her daughter. 3.) The third girl left for her honeymoon in Cape Town . Mom waited for a week, nothing. Another week went by and still nothing. Then after a whole month, a card finally arrived. Written on it with shaky handwriting were the words ' Emirates Airlines' Mom took out her latest YOU magazine, flipped through the pages fearing the worst, and finally found the ad for EA. The ad said: 'Ten times a day, seven days a week, both ways.' Mom fainted !
  10. Last Tuesday, as President Obama got off the helicopter in front of the White House, he was carrying a baby piglet under each arm. The squared away Marine guard snaps to attention, Salutes and says: "Nice pigs, sir." The President replies "These are not pigs...these are authentic Arkansas Razorback Hogs. I got one for Secretary of State Hillarious Clinton and I got one for Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi." The squared away Marine again snaps to attention, Salutes and says, "Excellent trade, sir."
  11. It is about time. BUCHANAN TO OBAMA . Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America . Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.... This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these: First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American. Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks. We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude?? Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona ? And Johnstown , and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids...? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent? Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself? As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time? Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse? We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing. Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago. This needs to be passed around because, This is a message everyone needs to hear!!!

  17. By Mark Hosenball WASHINGTON Aug 14 (Reuters) - A group of former U.S. intelligence and Special Forces operatives is set to launch a media campaign, including TV ads, that scolds President Barack Obama for taking credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden and arg u es that high-level leaks are endangering American lives. Leaders of the group, the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund Inc, say it is nonpartisan and unconnected to any political party or presidential campaign. It is registered as a so-called social welfare group, which means its primary purpose is to further the common good and its political activities should be secondary. In the past, military exploits have been turned against presidential candidates by outside groups, most famously the Swift Boat ads in 2004 that questioned Democratic nominee John Kerry's Vietnam War service. The OPSEC group says it is not political and aims to save American lives. Its first public salvo is a 22-minute film that includes criticism of Obama and his administration. The film, to be released on Wednesday, was seen in advance by Reuters. "Mr. President, you did not kill Osama bin Laden, America did. The work that the American military has done killed Osama bin Laden. You did not," Ben Smith, identified as a Navy SEAL, says in the film. "As a citizen, it is my civic duty to tell the president to stop leaking information to the enemy," Smith continues. "It will get Americans killed." An Obama campaign official said: "No one in this group is in a position to speak with any authority on these issues and on what impact these leaks might have, and it's clear they've resorted to making things up for purely political reasons." Obama has highlighted his foreign policy record on the campaign trail, emphasizing how he presided over the killing of bin Laden, as well as how he ended the war in Iraq and set a timeline for winding down the war in Afghanistan. However, Obama has come under sharp attack from Republican lawmakers who have accused his administration of being behind high-level leaks of classified information. They have pointed to media reports about clandestine drone attacks, informants planted in al Qaeda affiliates and alleged cyber-warfare against Iran that Republicans say were calculated to promote Obama's image as a strong leader in an election year. The White House has denied leaking classified information. The president of Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund Inc, Scott Taylor, is a former Navy SEAL who in 2010 ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for a congressional seat in Virginia. Calling itself "OPSEC" for short - which in spy jargon means "operational security" - the anti-leak group incorporated last June in Delaware, a state that has the most secretive corporate registration rules in the U.S. It also set itself up as a nonprofit organization under section 501©4 of the U.S. Tax Code, allowing it to keep donors' identities secret. Spokesmen for the group declined to discuss its sources of financing. Several group representatives say their main motivation for setting up OPSEC was dismay at recent detailed media leaks about sensitive operations. In an interview, Taylor denied OPSEC had any political slant. He described the group as a "watchdog organization" but added that the current administration "has certainly leaked more than others." OPSEC spokesmen said the group has about $1 million at its disposal and hopes to raise more after the release of its mini-documentary, entitled "Dishonorable Disclosures," which aims, in spy-movie style, to document a recent spate of leaks regarding sensitive intelligence and military operations. Following the film's release, OPSEC's spokesmen said, the group expects to produce TV spots on the anti-leak theme that will air in a number of states, including Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina and Nevada - key battleground states. Fred Rustmann, a former undercover case officer for the CIA who is a spokesman for the group, insisted its focus on leaks was "not a partisan concern." But he said the current administration had been leaking secrets "to help this guy get re-elected, at the expense of peoples' lives.... We want to see that they don't do this again." Chad Kolton, a former spokesman for the office of Director of National Intelligence during the George W. Bush administration who now represents OPSEC, also said the group's message and make-up are nonpolitical. "You'll see throughout the film that concern about protecting the lives of intelligence and Special Forces officers takes precedence over partisanship," he said. Responding to criticism about the president taking credit for the bin Laden raid, an Obama campaign official pointed to an interview with CNN last month in which Admiral Bill McRaven, commander of the raid, said: "At the end of the day, make no mistake about it, it was the president of the United States that shouldered the burden for this operation, that made the hard decisions, that was instrumental in the planning process, because I pitched every plan to him." "I think Admiral McRaven knows more about the President's role in the bin Laden operation than this group," the campaign official said.
  18. A few years ago, John McCain wasn’t sure whether he was a maverick or not. He was … then he wasn’t. The former Navy aviator has been for a long time a career politician; more specifically, he is part of the broken Washington establishment. Terry Lakin, on the other hand, is a former officer, and he knows he’s a maverick. . Thankfully, he’ll never be part of the establishment. Lakin’s journey is one of the most extraordinary I’ve read. His new book, “Officer’s Oath,” should be required reading … for everyone. In fact, I strongly believe this story needs a wide audience in the run-up to the presidential election. We do not want to hand another four years to the people who tried to destroy Terry Lakin. An exemplary leader, Lakin ran afoul of dark forces in this country when he simply asked the president of the United States to produce birth records. After all, this seemed a reasonable request from a man who has multiple deployments under his belt and who took his oath to uphold the Constitution seriously. What Lakin and his family then endured will become the stuff of legend. For daring to challenge a despot, Lakin was stripped of his military career (including pension) and left to cool his heels in Leavenworth for five months! Now, with the help of the peerless Jack Cashill, Lakin is telling his story. The fallout is as chilling as the story itself. A doctor and a lieutenant colonel, now-former LTC Terry Lakin had misgivings about deploying for a seventh time. He had risen in his profession to become chief of primary care and flight surgeon for the Pentagon’s DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Care. He served in Bosnia, Honduras, El Salvador, Korea and Afghanistan. When Obama emerged as the frontrunner in 2008, and after his election, Lakin became increasingly concerned by the lack of evidence that the man was, in fact, fit to serve as commander in chief. Lakin considered the oaths that both military officers and the president take: Officer’s oath: I (insert name), having been appointed a (insert rank) in the U.S. Army under the conditions indicated in this document, do accept such appointment and do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God. President’s oath: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. For two years, Lakin tried to get answers about Obama’s eligibility, but was stonewalled each time. He then felt he had no choice but to refuse deployment and thus invite his own court-martial! Folks may disagree with his decisions, but it can’t be denied that Lakin is a patriot and a rare one at that. Among the scary discoveries the reader of “Officer’s Oath” will be confronted with: During the pre-trial and even during the court-martial, because the judge stated that in her opinion, Barack Obama is legally the president, Lakin was not allowed to present any evidence to the contrary! This led, of course, to his prison sentence. It is mind-boggling that a decorated, accomplished officer can be imprisoned in this country, yet his tormentor is insulated from accountability. A realist, Lakin states in “Officer’s Oath”: “I am certain that I and the many people involved in this book will be attacked by those who wish to deny that our Constitution and country are in peril.” This is a resolute man, and one who has literally counted the cost. In Chapter 14 (“Duty, Honor, Country”), Lakin recounts how emotional testimony from the wife of a doctor who took his place in deployment affected the outcome: “She told the court how they had been planning to start a family, but that I had ruined their plans. When she started crying on the stand, I could hear that final nail being pounded into my coffin.” Honestly, the gruesome narrative of Lakin’s story in “Officer’s Oath” reads like something from the transcripts of Soviet and Nazi trials, and one can almost envision Lakin standing before these titled court officers much like the conspirators against Hitler did decades ago. If we think things like this can’t happen in America, get a clue. They already have. And if you think they won’t come for you, think about Terry Lakin. Read “Officer’s Oath” and spread its message as widely as you possibly can. Because if there are eligibility questions about the president come January, the powers-that-be might be coming for you next.
  19. In a case spotlighted as an example of “creeping Shariah” in the United States, attorneys for a Tulsa, Okla., police officer have asked for a summary judgment because a police official inside the department testified the officer was punished for exercising his rights. The statement was included in a motion for summary judgment in the case brought by Capt. Paul Campbell Fields against the city of Tulsa, Chief Charles Jordan and Deputy Chief Alvin Webster. . Fields sued when he was punished with a two-week unpaid suspension and a demotion for refusing department orders to attend an event at an Islamic mosque in which officers observed Islamic worship services, heard an explanation of Islamic beliefs and were proselytized. As a Christian, Fields believed the order violated his rights to freely exercise his own faith, but the department determined he was refusing a lawful order and punished him. A hearing is set for later this year in the case, but lawyers with the American Freedom Law Center and the Thomas More Law Center, who launched the case, have filed for the judgment. Find out what other plans there are for the U.S., in “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America In the brief, they point out that Maj. Julie Harris, Fields’ immediate supervisor, “candidly admitted during her sworn testimony that the police department retaliated against [Fields] for exercising his constitutional rights.” She told the department’s internal affairs investigation looking into Fields’ actions, “If somebody had some deep, deep, deep religious conviction, and as long as there was no crime that they needed to investigate, there’s no need for me to force this (Islamic mosque attendance) on anybody.” She concluded that the charges against Fields should not be sustained, according to the brief, and later “was subjected to retaliation” herself because of her statement. The brief reveals that during depositions in the dispute, Harris was asked, “Do you believe the department took adverse action against [Fields] for exercising his rights?” “Yes,” she responded. She also was asked, “If you believe Capt. Fields had a deeply held religious conviction opposing that order, [then] he would have a right to oppose that order based on that conviction?” Again, she responded, “Yes.” The city police department did not respond to a WND message requesting comment on the developments. Robert Muise of the AFLC told WND the case is an example of the enforcement of Islamic religious law, or Shariah, across the nation today through various courts, orders and precedents. He noted that in Fields’ case, never before had officers been ordered to attend a so-called “law enforcement appreciation day,” until the local mosque leaders decided to hold one. Then, the attendance became mandatory. “This is indirectly the enforcement of Shariah, where if you say anything that’s contrary to Islam, its blasphemy and punishable,” Muise explained. “This is very anti-Christian and an attack on Judeo-Christian values.” “It’s almost stealth jihad,” he said. Muise said it wasn’t until the last few years that he’s encountered such actions in the U.S. But he’s also battled similar conditions recently in Dearborn, Mich., and other locations where Islam is given precedence over other faiths. “All of these discussions about hate speech and signing onto these U.N. charters and transnational rules and regulations to guard against hate speech … these are just enforcement of Islamic blasphemy laws. We have the First Amendment for a reason,” he said. He said in Fields’ case, the officers was punished for refusing to attend another faith’s worship service and be proselytized. The motion was filed in federal court in Oklahoma, where the case is scheduled for a hearing in November. “In light of the undisputed facts and controlling law, Capt. Fields is entitled to a judgment in his favor that the city and its senior police officials violated his clearly established constitutional rights by ordering him to engage in conduct that was contrary to his Christian beliefs and then punishing him for not obeying the unlawful order,” said Muise. The order for Fields to attend the mosque event was in February 2011. The event was held March 4, 2011, a Friday, which is the “holy day” for Islam. The legal team explained, “The so-called ‘appreciation day’ included ‘Mosque tours,’ which involved religious proselytizing, meeting ‘Local Muslims & Leadership,’ watching the ‘weekly congregational prayer service,’ and receiving presentations on Islamic ‘beliefs,’” The complaint notes the Tulsa organization is affiliated with the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Islamic Society of North America – both “unindicted, co-conspirators and/or joint venturers in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial.” ISNA, the case explains, is the “largest Muslim Brotherhood front in North America.” The Tulsa organization has had featured speakers such as Imam Siraj Wahhaj, “a Shariah-adherent Muslim who promotes the destruction of Western civilization and the creation of an Islamic caliphate,” according to the lawsuit.
  20. The Democratic Party candidate for state Supreme Court chief justice in Alabama, nominated by his state party earlier this year, now may be booted from the general election ballot because his personal beliefs are at odds the national party’s endorsement of same-sex marriage. Bradley Davidson, executive director of the Alabama Democrats, told WND that a panel is scheduled to hear arguments Friday over a decision that could result in the removal of Harry Lyon from the Democrats’ list of nominees in the 2012 general election. . Lyon was the only Democratic candidate who surfaced for the position of Supreme Court chief justice, which is an elected slot Alabama. The GOP contender is the famed Ten Commandments judge, Roy Moore, who, according to polls, is leading by a significant margin. Davidson told WND there are rule and procedure issues that need to be addressed with regard to Lyon’s candidacy. But Lyon told WND the problem arose because of his statements on his personal online social media page opposing same-sex marriage. One statement said: “I want to make the following perfectly clear: Neither I nor Lucy Baxley believe in same sex marriages as does our Democrat President Obama’s personal opinion. Alabama has always supported our churchs (sic), the rule of law and common decency.” Said another post: “If anyone on my friends list on Facebook believes in faggotry, please delist me.” And yet another said, “God did not start out with Adam and Steve but Adam and Eve … you freaks.” Lyon told WND he has a colorful history, and the state party admitted allowing him to re-enter the party in 2005 after he had been removed earlier for various issues. But he said he believes in salvation by faith in Christ, as written in the New Testament, and he tries to follow the Bible’s other commandments. Dean Young, the chief campaign fundraiser for Moore’s campaign, told WND that the state Democratic Party appears to be trying to march “in lockstep” with the national party, which recently adopted a platform advocating for same-sex marriage. “They’re pushing the homosexual agenda,” he said. “If they’ve got a candidate like Harry Lyons, who says he doesn’t agree, they’re going to try to replace him with someone who does agree with the homosexual agenda.” Lyons argued that his statements were on a personal social media page, and they are his own opinions. He told WND that the state party also is using the issue to remove him, because the Democrats believe Moore might be vulnerable. He defeated two stronger, better-funded candidates without a runoff in the GOP primary. So Lyons said state Democrats believe he might be beatable in the general election, and they have a different candidate they want to run against Moore. Whatever the real reason, Lyon said he would go to the Friday hearing and tell panel members, “We’re going to have the circus, and I get to see the clowns.” The state party recently cleared Lyon of a complaint about his financial disclosures when the state determined he was in compliance. He suggested the complaint meant state Democrats were looking for any reason to push him off the ballot. But he emphasized the significance of his position on same-sex marriage and the fact it aligns with the citizens of his state. He recalled a friend who campaigned for circuit judge several years ago who repeatedly was confronted about whether he was loyal to the national Democrats in their support of same-sex marriage. His friend lost the race as a result. But Lyon warned that voters could generate a backlash against the state party if he is removed from the ballot, especially over an issue like homosexual behavior. “I don’t know of any law or rule that a candidate has got to agree with the president … as part of an issue that’s out there in the country,” he said. While same-sex marriage may be a winning issue in New York or California, he suggested, “It’s not here in Alabama.” Davidson told WND the hearing Friday is a “show-cause” hearing in which Lyon will be asked to justify his positions and statements. A five-member panel from the party’s executive board will hear the arguments. He said he didn’t know how members of the party would react to Lyon’s statements nor what they would recommend. “The full executive board will be on hand in the event that Mr. Lyon is disqualified in order to reach a decision on what next steps to take,” he said. Davidson told the Montgomery Advertiser the hearing would consider a number of issues over “a lack of self-control and bizarre behavior.” “He’s defamed just about everyone he would come in contact with as a member of the Alabama Supreme Court,” Davidson told the newspaper The party complaint against Lyon alleges he’s in violation of the “Statement of Principles” of the party, including that “the people are entitled to honest and ethical government” and “that the people are entitled to honest and ethical government.” NPR reported days ago the 2012 Democratic Party’s platform committee met and approved a plan to endorse same-sex “marriages.” The Gadsden Times said Lyon wanted to position himself as a critic of homosexual marriage so that Moore would not be able to use the issue against him in the race for the office of chief justice. WND reported earlier on Moore’s rebound in the state. It was nine years ago when he, as chief justice, fought a battle over a stone monument presenting the Ten Commandments in a state court building in Alabama. He was removed from office by a state panel after a federal judge ordered him to take down the monument. But he coordinated a stunning upset victory over two better-funded competitors for the GOP nomination for the office, incumbent Chuck Malone and former state Attorney General Charlie Graddick. According to a poll taken just days ago, Moore leads Lyon by 21 points, 54 percent to 33 percent. The poll surveyed 600 Alabama voters. He’s built his strong support with endorsements that include one even from the Democratic Alabama AFL-CIO. State President Al Henley told Real Clear Politics it’s the first time the union group has backed Moore, and Moore was the only Republican picked by the group this year. Henley cited Moore’s record as a circuit judge in Gadsden and as an Alabama Supreme Court justice from 2001-2003 of treating the average person fairly in court. “Throughout my campaign I have told people I would not bring back a monument, because it would confuse the people about the issue. But I will acknowledge the sovereignty of God in everything I do,” Moore told WND.
  21. The amateur president has had an easy ride in his re-election campaign – until now. He has been comfortably ahead in most of the opinion polls. The left-dominated news media continue to fawn upon Mr. Obama as though he were – in the words of one of his own close advisers – “black Jesus.” . Now, the black-Jesus freaks are in a panic. The first attack ads were on your screens within hours of Mitt Romney’s confirmation that Paul Ryan, the tea-party movement’s dream candidate, was to be his running-mate for veep. The Church of Obama, much outspent by the Latter-Day Saints in the White House campaign, is in a panic. It has even resorted to a swear-word in an email inviting potential supporters to stump up $5 or more to keep Mr. Manchurian in the luxury to which he has become accustomed. The hard-left “Democrats” of today (the quote-marks should surely be part of WND’s house style from now on) don’t just hate conservatives. They fear us. Why? For all they try to make out that the tea-party movement is a tiny gathering of beyond-the-fringe extremists, they now suspect – and rightly – that this extraordinary, spontaneous, grass-roots uprising against the left’s encroachments upon liberty represents the opinions not of a marginal, numerically insignificant minority but of the great majority of the people of your great nation. The “Democrats” also have very good reason to fear Paul Ryan. He is young, fresh-faced, good-looking, charmingly articulate, not fooled by the climate scam, conservative in matters of religion, opposed to baby-butchering. All of these are pluses with voters who had despaired of the wimpy pantywaists who have until recently been in control of the Republican Party. (Margaret Thatcher would have called them “wets.”) Ryan’s biggest plus, though, is the one the “Democrats” are screeching about most volubly. He must have read my column of last week pointing out that out-of-control federal spending could bring America down without anyone firing a single shot. He has a plan for bringing that spending under control. To control public spending you have to make the biggest possible cuts at the least political cost. Yet the sheer grossness of Mr. Obama’s overspending leaves very little room to pick and choose between programs before deciding where the ax should fall. The very large cuts that are now essential to the very survival of the United States leave very little room for political maneuver. A lot of people who have been getting a lot of other people’s money for a long time are going to have to do without it. It is often said that politicians think only in the short term. The truth is that it is the voters – or at least those who have allowed themselves to become habitually dependent upon the labor of the taxpayer for their living – who think short-term. At each election, those who live at taxpayers’ expense have just one question in their minds: Which party will keep my gravy-train rolling along for a few more years? The true significance of Mr. Ryan’s appointment is that, like the trail-blazing Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, and unlike just about everyone else in the Republican leadership, he is not afraid to be honest with the voters about the fact that the gravy-train has already tipped into the gulch. Scott Walker fended off a recall challenge by an unholy consortium of unions and other beneficiaries of the taxpayers’ involuntary largesse by being straightforward with everyone about the extent of Wisconsin’s indebtedness and the seriousness of the consequences if it were not addressed. Gov. Walker’s entire campaign was refreshingly undoctrinaire. Quietly, politely, gently, firmly, persistently, he spelled out how many beans make five (memo to black Jesus: the answer is a whole number greater than four and less than six). He followed the advice Lenin gave but never followed: “Explain. Always explain.” A substantial minority of union members voted for him. They could see he was genuinely worried about Wisconsin’s finances, and with good reason. When he gave them the freedom not to belong to unions if they chose not to, many chose not to. I was also pleased to see that Ted Cruz, an outstanding tea-party candidate in Texas, won his primary. I had the pleasure of hearing him speak brilliantly in his home state recently. He will go far – you heard it here first. Thanks to the “teabaggers,” suddenly the Grand Old Party – long dead from the neck up and from the neck down – is springing to glorious life once again. Do not underestimate Paul Ryan, Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, or the countless other first-rate candidates who, thanks to your nation’s enduring devotion to your Founding Fathers’ principles, are now being chosen over the tired, custard-faced apparatchiks of the old Republican Party who preferred doing shoddy deals behind closed doors rather than explaining things openly to the voters. Will the selection of Rep. Ryan be enough to turn the limp Romney campaign around? I don’t know, but it is a very good start.
  22. Osam Seals tell of killing ‘Bert’ Laden Upset by the official account, US Navy Seals commandos reveal the truth of the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden, nicknames and all a Bin Laden was killed within 90 seconds of the US Navy Seals landing in his compound and not after a protracted gun battle, according to the first account by the men who carried out the raid. The operation was so clinical that only 12 bullets were fired. The Seals have spoken out because they were angered at the version given by politicians, which they see as portraying them as cold-blooded murderers on a “kill mission”. They were also shocked that President Barack Obama announced Bin Laden’s death on television the same evening, rendering useless much of the intelligence they had seized. Chuck Pfarrer, a former commander of Seal Team 6, which conducted the operation, has interviewed many of those who took part for a book, Seal Target Geronimo, to be published in the US this week. The Seals’ own accounts differ from the White House version, which gave the impression that Bin Laden was killed at the end of the operation rather than in its opening seconds. Pfarrer insists Bin Laden would have been captured had he surrendered. “There isn’t a politician in the world who could resist trying to take credit for getting Bin Laden but it devalued the ‘intel’ and gave time for every other Al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole,” said Pfarrer. “The men who did this and their valorous act deserve better. It’s a pretty shabby way to treat these guys.” The first hint of the mission came in January last year when the team’s commanding officer was called to a meeting at the headquarters of joint special operations command. The meeting was held in a soundproof bunker three storeys below ground with his boss, Admiral William McRaven, and a CIA officer. They told him a walled compound in Pakistan had been under surveillance for a couple of weeks. They were certain a high-value individual was inside and needed a plan to present to the president. It had to be someone important. “So is this Bert or Ernie?” he asked. The Seals’ nicknames for Bin Laden and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri are a reference to two Muppets in Sesame Street, one tall and thin and the other short and fat. “We have a voice print,” said the CIA officer, “and we’re 60% or 70% certain it’s our guy.” McRaven added that a reconnaissance satellite had measured the target’s shadow. “Over 6ft tall.” When McRaven added they would use Ghost Hawk helicopters, the team leader had no doubt. “These are the most classified, sophisticated stealth helicopters ever developed,” said Pfarrer. “They are kept in locked hangars and fly so quiet we call it ‘whisper mode’.” Over the next couple of months a plan was hatched. A mock-up of the compound was built at Tall Pines, an army facility in a national forest somewhere in the eastern US. Four reconnaissance satellites were placed in orbit over the compound, sending back video and communications intercepts. A tall figure seen walking up and down was named “the Pacer”. Obama gave the go-ahead and Seal Team 6, known as the Jedi, was deployed to Afghanistan. The White House cancelled plans to provide air cover using jet fighters, fearing this might endanger relations with Pakistan. Sending in the Ghost Hawks without air cover was considered too risky so the Seals had to use older Stealth Hawks. A Prowler electronic warfare aircraft from the carrier USS Carl Vinson was used to jam Pakistan’s radar and create decoy targets. Operation Neptune’s Spear was initially planned for April 30 but bad weather delayed it until May 1, a moonless night. The commandos flew on two Stealth Hawks, codenamed Razor 1 and 2, followed by two Chinooks five minutes behind, known as “Command Bird” and the “gun platform”. On board, each Seal was clad in body armour and nightvision goggles and equipped with laser targets, radios and sawn-off M4 rifles. They were expecting up to 30 people in the main house, including Bin Laden and three of his wives, two sons, Khalid and Hamza, his courier, Abu Ahmed al- Kuwaiti, four bodyguards and a number of children. At 56 minutes past midnight the compound came into sight and the code “Palm Beach” signalled three minutes to landing. Razor 1 hovered above the main house, a three-storey building where Bin Laden lived on the top floor. Twelve Seals abseiled the 5ft-6ft down onto the roof and then jumped to a third-floor patio, where they kicked in the windows and entered. The first person the Seals encountered was a terrified woman, Bin Laden’s third wife, Khaira, who ran into the hall. Blinded by a searing white strobe light they shone at her, she stumbled back. A Seal grabbed her by the arm and threw her to the floor. Bin Laden’s bedroom was along a short hall. The door opened; he popped out and then slammed the door shut. “Geronimo, Geronimo, Geronimo,” radioed one Seal, meaning “eyes on target”. At the same time lights came on from the floor below and Bin Laden’s son Khalid came running up the stairs towards the Seals. He was shot dead. Two Seals kicked in Bin Laden’s door. The room, they later recalled, “smelt like old clothing, like a guest bedroom in a grandmother’s house”. Inside was the Al-Qaeda leader and his youngest wife, Amal, who was screaming as he pushed her in front of him. “No, no, don’t do this!” she shouted as her husband reached across the king-size bed for his AK-47 assault rifle. The Seals reacted instantly, firing in the same second. One round thudded into the mattress. The other, aimed at Bin Laden’s head, grazed Amal in the calf. As his hand reached for the gun, they each fired again: one shot hit his breastbone, the other his skull, killing him instantly and blowing out the back of his head. Meanwhile Razor 2 was heading for the guesthouse, a low, shoebox-like building, where Bin Laden’s courier, Kuwaiti, and his brother lived. As the helicopter neared, a door opened and two figures appeared, one waving an AK-47. This was Kuwaiti. In the moonless night he could see nothing and lifted his rifle, spraying bullets wildly. He did not see the Stealth Hawk. On board someone shouted, “Bust him!”, and a sniper fired two shots. Kuwaiti was killed, as was the person behind him, who turned out to be his wife. Also on board were a CIA agent, a Pakistani- American who would act as interpreter, and a sniffer dog called Karo, wearing dog body armour and goggles. Within two minutes the Seals from Razor 2 had cleared the guesthouse and removed the women and children. They then ran to the main house and entered from the ground floor, checking the rooms. One of Bin Laden’s bodyguards was waiting with his AK-47. The Seals shot him twice and he toppled over. Five minutes into the operation the command Chinook landed outside the compound, disgorging the commanding officer and more men. They blasted through the compound wall and rushed in. The commander made his way to the third floor, where Bin Laden’s body lay on the floor face up. Photographs were taken, and the commander called on his satellite phone to headquarters with the words: “Geronimo Echo KIA” — Bin Laden enemy killed in action. “This was the first time the White House knew he was dead and it was probably 20 minutes into the raid,” said Pfarrer. A sample of Bin Laden’s DNA was taken and the body was bagged. They kept his rifle. It is now mounted on the wall of their team room at their headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, alongside photographs of a dozen colleagues killed in action in the past 20 years. At this point things started to go wrong. Razor 1 took off but the top secret “green unit” that controls the electronics failed. The aircraft went into a spin and crashed tail-first into the compound. The Seals were alarmed, thinking it had been shot down, and several rushed to the wreckage. The crew climbed out, shaken but unharmed. The commanding officer ordered them to destroy Razor 2, to remove the green unit, and to smash the avionics. They then laid explosive charges. They loaded Bin Laden’s body onto the Chinook along with the cache of intelligence in plastic bin bags and headed toward the USS Carl Vinson. As they flew off they blew up Razor 2. The whole operation had taken 38 minutes. The following morning White House officials announced that the helicopter had crashed as it arrived, forcing the Seals to abandon plans to enter from the roof. A photograph of the situation room showed a shocked Hillarious Clinton, the secretary of state, with her hand to her mouth. Why did they get it so wrong? What they were watching was live video but it was shot from 20,000ft by a drone circling overhead and relayed in real time to the White House and Leon Panetta, the CIA director, in Langley. The Seals were not wearing helmet cameras, and those watching in Washington had no idea what was happening inside the buildings. “They don’t understand our terminology, so when someone said the ‘insertion helicopter’ has crashed, they assumed it meant on entry,” said Pfarrer. What infuriated the Seals, according to Pfarrer, was the description of the raid as a kill mission. “I’ve been a Seal for 30 years and I never heard the words ‘kill mission’,” he said. “It’s a Beltway [Washington insider’s] ]fantasy word. If it was a kill mission you don’t need Seal Team 6; you need a box of hand grenades.”
