No disrespect but good luck with that. We are a very diverse group. Written words don't always come across the same as the spoken word. Posts are not always interpreted as the poster intened. Oh but maybe you are speaking of the recent "calling out" personal attacks on DV members? I believe the they will be taken care of in short order. This site does a pretty good job of policing itself. Thankfully.
I agree with you but it seems to have degraded quickly the last couple of weeks! Seeing if I can help out with Solution!

This should be some help to ADAM, Staff, and Moderators.
Lets see if a system can be set up so that people have a tendency to post replies like they were discussing the topic in person.
Please add your thoughts, as maybe with our input a working sytem can be established to have a friendlier site. IMHO as a relative newbie, in less than 2 months I have seen politeness degrade.

It took me a long time to read all 6 pages, WOW.
So lets study this for a bit. Disregarding it appears to even more limit our GOD given freedom of being USA citizens. Lets study a work around this problem.
Ok, so this applies to accredited investors. Some of us, if this is true will go to another country and cash out there.
Lets do another work around the issue. Lets set up a corporation after cashing in one 25,000 Dinar note. Then deposit the rest of the Dinar into the corporation as a gift. Sure you owe gift tax. You legally cash in all of your Dinar.
Simple, effective, and a great work around!

You may be right. That was the first thing that crossed my mind. But I loved Ronald Reagan and always believed, "trust... but verify" Since I don't know this member I would like to trust what he is passing on - however, it does have the sound and type of details that a pumper story usually has. At this point, I'm hoping for trust - and if the story is true it's a pretty good indication of the IQD having a future value worthy of this roller coaster ride. Thanks for sharing (I'm not sure why you would get so many "red -" marks). After all these months and years you would think that what you are pointing out is a legitmate point.

My expectations is for the initial RV to be at least 10 cents per Dinar. Best guess based on what it is currently worth based on Scooter's sound analysis is about 25 to 35 cents per Dinar. In the land of my FANTASTY I believe it will revalue at 86 to 130 cents per Dinar. There is a great difference between real friends, and acquaintances. We call people friends ... one syllable ... easier than saying acquaintance ... easier to spell too. But really, when it hits the fan, the ones who stand by you and get their shirts messed up with yours are the true friends. They are valuable and so precious and losing one hurts.
I missed whatever happened with Scooter, and it seems from reading the aftermash posts that there isn't a concensus on what really did happen. But I do know one thing ... Scooter is the kind of person, obvious from his posts and chats and willingness, nay not willingness but desire, to inform and educate and ease the path for everyone else ... well he is the kind of person who is a true friend. He is the one who stands by you when things are rough and tries to help.
Whatever happened, whoever said what or responded with whatever, Scooter deserved the support of this forum and everyone on it. He earned that with his reputation. If he didn't get it, I am saddened.
I have been a member for less than a year and in that time I have seen the forum go from what I had been lurking and loving to something totally foreign. The influx of new members who seem bent on destroying the true friend attitude and acceptance of differing ideas I found here ... well, they seem to have succeeded in doing just that ... destroying the forum I chose to join because of all I saw here and cherished.
I will stick around and see if the pendulum swings the other way again. I hope so. As I hope we have not really lost Scooter. He is such an important part of this forum ... for many reasons.

Mentioning Dinar to a banker is like mentioning Amway to your neighbor. Yeah, they know about it and if they like you they'll just let it slide. If they don't like you, they'll call you crazy and say its a scam. Either way, they aren't buying any of your soap or coming to listen about your "business opportunity".

For the recored; I have invited several friends to invest and enjoy the ride! The last person I talked to will invest for sure. They said they have limited funds, so I told them to go to 1st convience bank here in Texas. The bank does a great job and it costs about 105.00 per hundred thousand IQD. I suggested they getonly 100,000IQD, but looks like they are going to get 500,000 IQD.
We will have fun after RV with these friends and take at least one nice trip! Got to love your friends

I think the Vietnamese Dong is a good investment. It is really cheap meaning you can buy a large amount for very little money. If it would increase to two or three cents that would be a pretty good return. When this will happen is anybodys guess. My personal opinion is it could be within a year or two.

That percentage does not include having my funds in other countries currency that is stable and back by gold, an example is the money of Switerland!

I know lots and lots of GUN owners. A few of these are outstanding upper level management! At least half of them openly state "you can take my GUN, no problem from my cold dead fingers" It would be my guess that the people trying to ban GUNS from law abiding citizens either
1] Do not have a clue how these guns save lives
2] Trying to start a revolution to put our country on new footing
3] Emotional at odds due to a specific event in their life

I say, "WHATEVER" if Chuck did any real research prior to being obnoxious he would have more fully realized that SCOOTER is a giant among men. Perhaps Scooter was sucked into where he should not have gone; the fact of the matter is that there were other ways to address this then on a public forum.
I learned long ago, though sometimes I forget, "praise in public, "criticize in private". I forgot this once here in Dinar vet and made a public apology and then private one Chuck public apology paraphrasing "I apologize fully for what I did, but only if you do this .... ", not much of an apology in my mind.
