  1. Also, do you not find it fairly pompous to presume that unless someone lives life like you do, thinks like you do and acts like you do that they obviously have to have a miserable life..... Are you so arrogant as to believe that you've figured out the only way???? That's what drives me nuts about the modern liberal.... You all think you know the best way for the rest of us to live our lives and then you try to legislate those ideas.... Look at Bloomberg as a prime example..... You know what a conservative wants??? To be left alone to make his/her way in life with little to no government infringement... If I fail, I don't want you to bail me out of my poor choices. I will learn from my mistakes, strap on my boots, tighten my belt and try again!!!! What does a liberal want.... To dictate how I live, what I eat, where I shat, where and how I work and so on and so on...... Just leave me the heck alone!!!! Follow the constitution, after all that's the foundation of it any way.....FREEDOM!!!! Freedom to do as I see fit for me and my family!

Listen man, I don't remember ever telling you how to live or how to act, just because I agree with the president that something needs to be done with gun control so our kids can grow in a safer enviroment, I happen to think Bloomberg is stepping over the line too. I can tell you I live a lot happier than you do, I don't worry about things out of my control and you obviously do, and I'm sorry to break it to you but the government is involved in everything you do wether you like it or not.

you asked me to leave you alone but if I remember correctly you started with me so I should ask you to leave me alone and let me live the way I see fit .

  2. I am an extremely happy and positive person until i deal with mentally challenged people as yourself. I can just imagine your photo. Ha, I'm sure my girlfriend is more masculine. I have friends in New York that think nothing like you. Hopefully you are the minority up there. Pathetic.

I have a feeling your girlfriend is more masculine than me too, maybe even more facial hair.

If someone is coming in to destroy your building, you have to make the assumption that they could and may also destroy your life. If you don't act first..... You'll never get the chance to act last! It's just common sense! I guess you hold to the line of thinking that a women should not attempt to shoot her rapist because her being raped is not worth the rapist loosing his life..... The problem with liberals is that you think everything is pie in the sky and most of these people who comit crimes could be rehabilitated and made good members of society but you fail to understand that evil is real and its not interested in being a productive member of society, it only desires to take from society all it can for its own gratification!

At least I use more common sense intead of shoot now ask questions later, when someone's life is at risk you have to defend any way you can, I'm not anti-gun, but a building can be rebuilt and that's why people pay insurance.

  3. Tell that to the Korean shop and business owners, who stood on top of their bulidings with their AR-15s and their high capacity magazines. Tony you seem to forget that when the SHTF after the Rodney King screw up, the LAPD decided to leave the area. When the Korean shop owners called 911, nobody came. If all you have in life is your family and business that you built, ( You didn't build that, according to some politicians), and LAPD says you taxpayers are on your own, I think that's a pretty good reason to have the right weaponry to defend your lifes work. Go back and check, since you are so good at Google research, and you will find out that none of the defended businesses were ransacked. As much as I admire those business owners for standing their ground, it's not near as much as I admire those people who defend our constitution and what it stands for. What you seem to forget is all of these Presidents put their hand on the BIBLE ( some possibly on the KORAN) and swore that they would uphold our (We The Peoples) constitution. If I'm also correct the news media is supposed to be a watchdog not a lapdog. Anyway enough of my soapbox standing. By the way, how's Snooki? :Dsrc="http://dinarvets.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif">

Ok so what's worth more to you a building or a life ? So you think killing hundreds would've made more sense?

Getting a liberal to understand common sense is like a conservative attempting to understand a brain dead liberals thought process. Ain't going to happen.

At least I live a happy life, you seem very miserable with that hard head of yours, just look at that silly picture of yours with that stupid thing on your hands.

  4. I'm an advocate for the "Bill of Rights" the 5th amendment. I think you are on the side of the Marxist movement in this country that I will be honored to give my life defending it from.

I've been called a moron, stupid, liberal, marxist, leftist and many more things that I can't think of now, but in reality it's just because I refuse to let the conspiracy theorists get into my head. I live in peace and don't have to look over my shoulders every second like some of you.

I noticed that you use that line a lot "

I will be honored to give my life defending it from."

You don't have to worry about me I"m on the side of peace and solving problems in a civil manner, you on the other hand has war in your mind 24/7.

  5. That is absolutely correct Jonjon. This is all about disarming to public to where we cant defend ourselves. It amazes me that these liberals dont see this.

"The president is trying to save lives"?? Man you people in Jersey have drank all the koolaid. Obummer and the rest of those liberal idiots have got you right where they want you dont they. Would suck to be you!

All I can tell you is I wake up and go to sleep without a worry in my mind, now you on the other hand wake up and go to sleep with a gun in your hand worrying about the government, I guess NRA got you right where they want you, you're paying their salaries and they keep feeding you false information, every time you buy a gun or ammo they get a cut so they love people like you.

Do you think the government would approve the use of drones on our own citizens on this soil if they were as benevolent as you say they are? Your love affair with the political lies has completely blinded you.

I happen to think you're blinded by misinformation put out by gun advocates, and I'm for the use of drones in the case of people like Dorner. If they had a drone active those two officers wouldn't be shot at the end.

  6. The reason people are so fanatical regarding Gun Rights .. is cuz people don't trust the government. And for good reason.

The government shoot a War Vet in the face with a tear gas canister .. then toss in a flash-bang for laughs ..

.. when a crowd gathers round to help the unconscious guy with the bloody face.

In other words, too many have already demonstrated their intentions .. regarding projectiles that exit a muzzle at terrific velocities and other things that sail thru the air and explode.

So I am not very encouraged by our government. Are you?

And if THEY got the guns and we don't .. that's not a good thing. For us. Then we not only don't have our kids, we don't even have our country either.

Every day on the evenin news we see stories of what happens when the State has the guns and the people dont. And it's not pretty. And the bigger the guns, the uglier it gets.

This is not about Gun control this is about MORE than guns.

"The government shoot a War Vet in the face with a tear gas canister .. then toss in a flash-bang for laughs .."

Ok, you say the government did it, now did the president order this attack ?or was it a few crazy people that have no heart?

I can't understand how anybody can think that our sons and daughters brothers and sisters will attack us, that's who's protecting us right now, do you think if the government wanted to attack the people like you claim, it would happen ?

  7. Check out the ammo supply stores, selling more ammo than they can get. Gun dealers, selling more guns than they can get. We're not talking about a civil war in the south either, nothing about this is going to be civil. We're talking about defending our freedom from those who intend to take it. Come and get it!

There are nuts in every state, I don't know anybody that ran to buy guns or ammo here in Jersey but I'm sure they're out there, and as far as freedom I'm with you I'll defend and fight for our freedom too, but because the president is trying to save lives people like you think it's a call for a civil war, I don't know why it's such a big deal that he wants to ban something that has no use for anybody out there exept the mass murderers.

  8. Haha! I laughed when I read your shiz. Are you a sophomore in college?

Dude this forum has elevated past racism, you are saying some really elementary shiz. The fact that you think it's black vs white, democratic vs republican tells me there is a long road ahead friend...

    Find your inner Shepard.

Unfortunatelly I have to come down to level of the discussion here which is 5th grade stuff, people are up in arms because the president wants to ban some of their toys, now they're calling for a civil war, and if you tell me that's adult and civil talk then there's something wrong with you too.

And as far as racism we both know that some people are very racist and they hate our president wether you like it or not that's reality, you can't tell me that we're past that, I'm one of the few here that stands behind our president wether black or white Democratic and Republican.

  9. Lets take a survey, I'm in Michigan and travel around the state talking to all types of people ( whites, blacks, browns, men and woman, young and old from the poor to the well off) and it amazes me how many are talking about or have stock piled guns and ammo, food and water because of the direction our government is going and it's not a race issue and it's not anything to do with dem vs repub's, it's a protect my family issue. Most believe when there is not enough money to take care of the people use to getting handouts, that those said people will riot in the streets and if that happens God help us.

sorry for my rant. So how many other people and in what states are hearing the same things????

I travel up and down New Jersey, I know people in New York and Cunnecticut and many in Florida, I don't know a single person that's stocking up on anything, exept my mother she stocks up on paper towel. And nobody I know talks about a civil war, I guess us Yankees are not in the loop of this coming civil war.

  10. Well, i think obama does create a lot of the hysteria, when he doesnt have too. banning assault rifles and limiting ammunition is bad legislation. Obama has basically said hes willing to take your unalienable rights away....if it just saves one life. Good legislation doesnt take away our bill of rights

The real argument is how do we stop people who are mentally ill from getting guns. Weneed revisions in the hippa act, so law enforcement knows whos unstable or on psychotropic drugs. we need to enforce laws. we need to quit letting felons out of jail on early release. we need to keep open mental institutions rather than putting em all in group homes running around in pubpic. we need to work with the nra.....they are the experts in gun safety and education. why demonize the nra.....when you need them to help

the argument of obama being black ......is just bogus. there were enough non racists to get him elected twice. i just hate the racecard. cuz....i dont care if yoh blue pink brown or yellow.....a decent human being is a decent person in my book

You guys are blowing this out of proportion, O wants to ban guns that have no use in our streets and make a universal law so the crazy people and the criminals can't get their hands on them. The NRA wants you people to believe something is going to happen so you can keep paying their salaries.

I have no use for the NRA so I could care less about them.

You say I'm playing the race card but you and I both know it's a problem for many people, if it doesn't apply to you then it shouldn't bother you, right?

I agree the color, race or party of the president shouldn't matter but for many it does.

  11. Very good post Parmenio. I'm not too informed on the Cabals. I'm definately there on the media. Usually, if you want to control a countries population, you get control of the media, then transportation, food and shelter. First, though, you have to take away the means for the people to defend themselves, and that's what most of those 535 quality individuals are trying to do. As far as Tony Down the Shore, he needs to become a bit more familiar with the FEMA Camps, thats where he's headed. I still think there are a few good politicians, personally I like Rand Paul. Best of luck to all of us. It's gonna be a long hard ride.

I guess if you believe in this FEMA camp fiction, I have a few bridges to sell you.

FEMA Camps: Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory Debunked

By Alex Moore 826 days agoLast month he was digging up old dirt on a 9/11 cover up. Now Jesse Ventura is at it again—but this time, the stakes are even higher.

Jesse Ventura is one of our greatest conspiracy theorists—which I guess makes it fitting that he has a new show called “Conspiracy Theory.”

I read his book “Don’t Start The Revolution Without Me.” It was pretty good. He makes a compelling point for legalizing drugs and pouring all the money wasted on useless, ineffective drug enforcement into education and energy infrastructure. But it also includes a serious allegation that while governor of Minnesota his house was bugged. Being the state’s top elected official, one would assume the only power with the ability to bug his house is the federal government. And the book concludes with a batshit crazy fantasy sequence in which he gets assassinated (I believe as president) by the shadow forces of the US government.

I have to admit that I love a good

conspiracy theory. The anti-authoritarian streak in me that hated my high school principal makes me eager to believe Jesse Ventura‘s fantastical theories—even his latest one about FEMA camps. Almost.

The theory goes something like this: FEMA has something like 800 secret “concentration camps” spread around the country, ready and waiting to imprison millions of people under martial law in the case of national emergency, i.e. revolt. Testifying on the Iran Contra scandal in 1987, Ollie North was asked by a congressman about a secret government contingency plan, was overrided by another congressman who said the question was off-limits, and another conspiracy theory was born.

In an episode of “Conspiracy Theory” that airs this Friday, Ventura reveals the supposed FEMA camps with Alex Jones from Infowars.com. It can be hard to definitively debunk a conspiracy theory, but it looks like, at least on one count, Ventura’s theory runs smack into a brick wall. Check out Alex Jones’s teaser for the show below, and take a look at 1:30, where Jones claims he and Ventura caught a peek of the “famous FEMA coffin facility outside Atlanta.”

As Popular Mechanics points out, this “famous coffin facility” is actually the home office of Vantage Products, the largest commercial producer of plastic coffin liners, who supply the material for many of the 900,000 in-ground burials that take place every year in America. As you can see from their site, Vantage is a pretty non-threatening compnay. As you can see on Google maps, they’re located right in Covington, GA—outside Atlanta.

Is Vantage Products actually a FEMA cover-up operation? Now that’s a conspiracy theory I could get excited about. Unfortunately, it’s not the one Ventura and Jones are making. Looks like Friday’s show will spread their very own brand of staged terror. Weak, guys—weak.

  13. You cannot take guns away from criminals... that's why they're criminals! All the endless reasons by the masses of citizenry for the Right to arm themselves is covered under the Second Amendment. It is impossible to micro-manage the reasoning, as individual circumstances are infinite. Hence the Amendment. Once you try to do that... the can of worms is opened... for endless "gun-grab" reasoning and "excuses"... and attacks on OTHER Constitutional rights. Remove your personal, individual objections, as they only infringe on my Right... and obstruct my individual freedoms. Conversely, my contention does NOT infringe upon your freedom, rights, or privacy... in fact it reinforces yours. That's the difference... and That is the true danger of trying to "pick and choose" freedoms and liberties. NO ONE has addressed this to me, as I've been trying to hammer it home. That reasoning is unflawed in this respect... as the Second Amendment's provisions do not allow for the false-premise to begin with. You CANNOT be for the Second Amendment and want restrictions at the same time... unless you repeal the amendment and replace it with something different. It simply is what it is. Tony, yes I do respect you... But, don't sell your opinion short... "what you do think DOES affect the outcome of this serious issue". Address the false-premise and the false-narrative... and the discussion will find resolve, through intellectual honesty. Otherwise, it is an exercise in disingenuous futility. :(src="http://dinarvets.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif">

Jax I understand your concerns, maybe I'm been misunderstood or I'm not making myself clear enough, we already have laws here in NJ right ? why can't these same laws be enforced in all 50 states? this to me is the biggest problem most illegal guns here in NJ come from a different state that the laws are very loose, see where I'm coming from? the change I keep bringing up is this that I just told you.

  14. Well sorry man but after reading that I have come to the conclusion that you are a truly ignorant man tony. I don't mean that as a bash I truly in my heart think you are truly ignorant and not capable of understanding. You would sooner let your wife be raped rather then admit you may be wrong . Hmmm

I keep my gun on me a all times where I can get to it by the way. and when I am in bed it`s within arms reach.

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that you're ignorant to think that just because you have 47 guns nothing is ever going to happen to you, you can sit here all day and tell me that if somebody breaks into your house you'll be able to defend yourself and your family until that day comes ( I hope it never does ) talk is cheap and this goes to all you brave man that think the same way, and as I said many times all you guys bring is name calling, and for your information my wife will only be raped if they walk over my dead body, the difference between us is you will be holding a gun when they walk over your dead body.

  15. Tony... you're restricting one's opportunity, and of course Right, to defend themself. Patty may not have been able to use a gun in THAT instance, but I'm sure the experience has taught her (and many many others) to approach a potential situation differently. And with the proper training, gun training, awareness training, self-defense training, self-preservation training... your "weapons" against criminals will always work to your advantage, more than not. We do not give away that advantage!!!!

And that's the point... once you restrict or eliminate the Second Amendment Right... you've AUTOMATICALLY put hundreds, thousands, millions of citizens at risk. Thankfully Patty and her family survived! And yes, survived to do it differently if it ever happens again... survived to share the story to alert others. And of course there are thousands of stories where people are alive because they weren't restricted. The Second Amendment works, as is... but it's effectiveness is easily eroded by infringement laws. Hence... leave it alone.

I teach self-defense and self-preservation in the martial arts venue, and as it translates to the every day. If I ever told my students to "give away their advantage", I'd be negligent. There's an old myth that Black Belts have to register themselves because of their potential deadly capabilities... or that they must warn their attacker of such. NONSENSE! My attacker will never know of my abilities... as I will never give away my advantage, especially in life and death confrontation. So, whether with a gun... or without... it's all about preserving your RIGHTS and your PRIVACY, so that you can protect yourself and your family to the best of your ability.

    Training, not fear... is paramount.

Jax I have never said that you don't have a right to defend yourself, just because I don't believe in guns and violence doesn't mean that I don't think you should have that right, I too took defensive class in karate my brother in law is 7 degree black belt and he's in the hall of fame here in NJ, but if you think it's ok with 10,000+ death a year by a fire arm it's your prerogative, I think it's time to take the guns away from the criminals, and not live in fear of walking down the street, a few countries have done it and we can do it too and some here think the government want to take your guns and turn you into a Zumbie but I think that's far fetched, and you and I know that this is my opinion I don't expect you to agree with me and I hope you respect my opinion I know what I think won't make a difference in the outcome of this serious issue.

Ignore these liberals, they have no clue! Can you all imagine these people back in the days where people had to actually protect themselves and their families from evil on a daily basis? Even to this day, being a gutless wimp is a huge disservice to society! These people could never be counted on to stand up for liberty and freedom, because they are too busy being cowards. Pathetic.

"Can you all imagine these people back in the days where people had to actually protect themselves "

You said it all here back in the 1700's and 1800's that was true, and I can tell you right now you can call me a coward but if we were side by side protecting our freedom I could run circles around you. And by the way you need a gun to feel like a man I don't need one to be a man.

Again just shows you inability to comprehend. YOU will never keep criminals from committing crimes guns or no guns, I feel sorry for your family best wishes to you.

    simply pathetic!

What's pathetic is you think or you were told you need a gun to survive, and I'm not afraid of the government turning me into a zumbie.

  16. Okay Tony, picture this. Your wife is home alone with two small children ages 4 & 2 and they are playing in the their rooms. The door bell rings and she answers it, right when she opens the door he pushes through, grabs her by the neck and pushes her against a entry table and falls and at the same time she thinking she has to get him as far away from the children's path, because the noise will bring the children out of their rooms, so she moves toward the living area. Children, hear the noise and come into the room. In the meantime the entry door is still open, she screams at them to run to a neighbors, she watches the oldest (little)one grab her younger sibling and run, no hesitation on her part. In the meantime he is approaching her with such evil in his eyes. He grabs from behind, she struggles, she kicks, she punches but he still has a good strong grip on her, they're on the floor rolling, she hits her head on a coffee table, but still able to get up and run, he grabs her by her blouse, pulls her back and puts her in a lock, she thinking, there is just know way out. Mind you, this is your wife. She's stomping and twisting but to no avail can't get loose. She's on the verge of losing hope, but something tells her she will make it. She decides to let her body go limp, like a fainting motion. As she does, she goes down and elbows him in the groan, hard, he lets go and she runs as fast as she could.

Lucky her, huh. Some are not as fortunate Tony. But the emotional anxiety your wife have to live with, is life long.

Now as a husband, doesn't this just eat you alive. Knowing that your wife was assaulted, violated. And you weren't there to help. But you could of trained her with a weapon to protect herself. A wife trust and depend on the husband to protect her in any form he can. Even if that means having a weapon. What best teacher to have, is a husband.

So Tony we know it wasn't your wife, thank God. Tony, it was me.

When the legislator threatens my 2nd Amendment, to keep me from protecting myself, my family, it makes me want to puke.

Jax is correct, its about the 2nd Amendment.

My hands are shaking as I finish this, sorry for any mistakes, I will step away now. Tony, think deeply on this, for all the wives sake, women sake.

Pattyangel, I'm sorry that this happened to you I'm sure you'll never forget that moment and thank God your kids weren't harmed.

Pattyangel this is trully a sad story and thank God you are here to tell us, but the second amendment or a gun protected you, God did, so this further proves to me that you don't need a gun, let's say you had a gun somewhere at the time you were attacked were you going to ask the assailant for a time out? so you could get your gun, the problem here

is it doesn't matter how many guns you own, when somebody breaks into your home you don't have time to get your gun unless you walk around the house with them and when you have kids it's impossible unless you are irresponsible and don't lock your guns. So I still believe you can own your gun if you're a law abiding citizen but the laws need to change so criminals will have a hard time getting them.
