Cargo ships arrive at Iraqi ports March 18, 2010 - 09:55:45 BASRA / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi ports of Umm Qasr and Abu Falous on Thursday received nine merchant ships carrying varied cargos, the public relations and media director at the State Company for Iraqi Ports said. Eight ships, coming from Panama, the United States and Liberia, have arrived at the Umm Qasr Port, Anmar al-Safi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. The ships transported containers, pipes, iron, fuel, and a varied cargo. Meanwhile, the Abu Falous port has received one ship from the United Arab Emirates with a cargo of 100 containers, Safi added.
